Our family wants to thank Jim Rudolph and the wonderful staff at Veterans Funeral Care for taking such good care of our families final arrangements on two occasions now.Our father was a World War II Navy Veteran. We were honored he was provided with a very touching Military ceremony at Bay Pines Cemetery..We were treated with a very special surprise of a 48 Star World War lll flag in our Dads honor from Jim Rudolph and his staff. Jim has a special place in his heart for Veterans. Our Dad was placed next to our Mom, the love of his life for 75 years. His staff help provided us on both occasions with a Pastor for our Dads service and a staff member for a beautiful service and a celebration of party for our Mom.We just can’t thank Jim and the special people at Veterans Funeral Care enough. for their kind and caring ways during our time of need..
The people at Veterans Funeral Care of taken care of my families final arrangements on two occasions now. My father was a World War II Veteran and he was treated to a wonderful ceremony bespeaking his service to his country. My mother’s dying wish was to be interred next to her husband and the love of her life. Today with the help of Jimmy and the people at Veterans Funeral Care her wish was fulfilled. Thank you to everyone at VFC for all your help and kindness during our time of need..
Both my parents were provided loving and comforting care with Veterans Funeral Care. They were there for me and treated us like family. This time my Father served during the Korean War and had full military honors ceremony arranged through the services provided by the entire dedicated staff. God bless you all especially Jimmy, Bruce, and Father Bob for being there for me. The ultimate gift is the sacrifice that all our Veterans make for our country serving. Veterans Funeral Care continues to serve all the Veterans and families and loved ones. Very grateful and will never forget everything they do. It was truly a blessing.
I cant say enough about the wonderful service they provide. Ive had multiple services and still have at least one more still to go through. They manage to outdo themselves every time. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable with any and all questions Ive asked whether it was simply getting me contact info for an answer or arranging and solving my question or problem. Absolutely recommend their service which navigates the VA Burial seamlessly. My highest regard for what you do and the comfort you bring. Thank you.
This was my first experience handling the death of a loved one (my Dad). After speaking with several funeral homes, I chose Veterans Funeral Care for their experience, compassion and prompt response to our needs. I worked primarily with one person (Blair) throughout the entire process which made the process more manageable. He was always patient with my many questions and walked alongside me through the entire process. Working with Blair gave me a sense of confidence and peace in honoring my Father. He also went above and beyond to help me resolve an error with my Dad’s middle name. I cannot be more grateful for the staff and service provided by Veterans Funeral Care and especially the faithful service of Blair.
Our experience with Veterans Funeral care was outstanding. Each contact was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. I highly recommend them for anyone who has lost a loved one.
My Mother needed to be transported from San Diego, CA to Tampa, FL.Veterans Funeral Care handled my Mother with dignity and respect once she landed in FL. If you ever need to transport a loved one from one state to another, go with a Veterans Funeral Home. They truly know what they are doing bringing loved ones home.Thank you for all that you did to bring my Mother to her final resting place.
Thank you. You all are really amazing and I will be forever grateful for not just your services but for the kindness and compassion of your entire staff. I felt that my dad has finally been given the honorable treatment he deserved.
My heart is broken after losing my dear father. With that said, Jimmy Rudolph took extra special care to ensure that my fathers funeral was perfect. Every detail was thought out and the event. albeit sad, was beautiful. Thank you for easing my burden during my grief.
Both times I used Veterans Funeral Care for each of my parents, they arranged for an empathetic funeral home to take care of them. Ceremonies were done perfectly, including honor guard for my dad. My parents are buried together in the National Cemetery in Madison, TN. Sykes Funeral Home took wonderful care of our family during these times. Thank you Veterans Funeral Care. I tell everyone I know is a Veteran about you.
I have worked closely with veterans funeral Care for 23 funerals of unclaimed veterans from the VA healthcare system. I cant imagine working with a more professional organization that truly believes in the calling of their work. If you are thinking about your final arrangements or planning for who would take care of you, theres no one better. I have become friends with the leadership, and the workforce. They are consummate professionals. Their love of veterans knows no bounds. When it is my time to go, veterans funeral care is who I want taking care of me and my family.
Our family thank you so much for the way you handled my brother in law’s service.
Having a funeral and losing someone you love is difficult enough without having to deal with the funeral plans. All I can say is Veterans funeral care and Jimmy were the perfect funeral home for all our needs. Jimmy spent allot of time discussing our loved ones life and what would be the perfect plans to honor him. Jimmy relieved so much stress and helped make an uncomfortable situation run smoothly. Nellos service was perfect and everything was done exactly as Jimmy said it would be. Jimmy even went above and beyond and helped me get my fathers WWII records which was a challenge. I highly recommend Veterans funeral care, because they really do CARE !!!
Jimmy and everyone at Veterans Funeral Care showed us great compassion and care. Because my parents met with them in 2013, when my Mom passed this year, the process was very simple. Options were explained to us very clearly and all of our questions answered, so we were able to make decisions easily. Through this sad time, our family is extremely grateful for the great care and experience extended to us.
Very impressed with the Service. Professional, respectful, kind, and caring. Thank you for the very memorable service you provided for my Brother, Terry Shafer, USN. Gone but not forgotton.David (Shafer) Dion, SCPO(SW), USN, (Ret).
Veterans Funeral Care recently took care of my fathers, Scott Libhart, arrangements following his death. My sister, Megan Libhart, chose them and is the one who primarily dealt with them leading up to our arrival in Florida. I cant speak highly enough of Pam. She made sure that our questions were answered and that we had everything, including time to see him before his service, we needed. She also touched me deeply with a gesture she made with mini urn for me that matched the one my sister and I chose. I also have to take a moment and sing the praises for Ashley. I am so glad she was chosen for us and will always be grateful to her for everything she did. Eric also went above and beyond, even when my sister and I were extremely stressed out. I cant remember the name of our attendant during our fathers service, but he was just as phenomenal. No one ever wants to go through something like this. If it werent for people like those at Veterans Funeral Care, it would be even more difficult. The compassion and understanding that everyone showed was amazing.
Veterans Funeral Care are nicest, kindest people that you could ask for. They are truly the most compassionate group I have had the pleasure of working with.
Pam Amos is the name that has been on my mind since I called a random funeral home in Florida for my estranged father’s sudden and shocking passing. I PROUDLY serve veterans and military members through my career that I’ve been blessed with. Quality Service is my passion! “This call may be recorded for..” That’s what I’ve done for 6 of my 7 year career. I EAT, SLEEP, BREATHE, and LIVE for customer service. I take great pride when I tell you this, but I’m fortunate to be able to accept a promotion where I’m the last stop for help... and you NEED to hear me when I completely mean this with everything that I have... Pam BLEW ME AWAY. Every single step. I am turning 31 on Christmas, which is now a week away, and this is THE BEST PRESENT I CAN GIVE. Recognition. I can’t shower her enough with it. After kind of being abandoned by our Dad’s family and me having to cover everything financially because (and I look IDENTICAL to my Dad except without a mustache) I am the planner he was not... I was at the end of my rope. I AM 30. And I kind of had to do this by myself, except my sister came and COMPLETELY supported me through it. Pam was a gift from a higher power. At every single step she held my hand from 1000 miles away, and made everything completely spectacular. “Tell me ANYTHING I can take off your plate, Megan.” A Funeral Director.. the love and support I wanted from my Dad was sent by him in the form of an angel, MY PAM. And I’m keeping her! I’ve invited her and her family to Virginia, because PAM IS FAMILY. If anything went wrong, WHICH IT DID NOT and this woman arranged private time for us on a moments notice, Pam made it right and (AS ALWAYS) then some. I can NEVER repay her for the kindness, empathy, compassion, shoulder to cry on (through the phone because this is #COVID) my rock and champion. This woman MOVED MOUNTAINS to make this as easy as possible. I would not be here today without Pam Amos, and I can say that with all confidence. I am making my wishes known in this review that when I pass, I don’t want to go anywhere else. Pay whatever it takes and get me to Veteran’s Funeral Care. I can honestly tell you I WILL NOT ALLOW ANYONE ELSE TO DO ME THIS SERVICE. After everything, I would not go anywhere else. Shout out to everyone, especially MY NEW FAMILY Ashley Fischer. Sorry for screaming at you Eric. You’re invited to VA, too!!! 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️😂
This facility went above and beyond for my family as we lost my husband’s father suddenly! They helped us with all of our questions and made sure everything was perfect! They provided us with information about anything military we could have even imagined! Today as we picked up the remains the provided us with his folded flag and the star from the flag he was cremated with. They even gave our 2 year old daughter a doll because it’s been such a hard time for our family now she has something she can look at and remind her of her papa! Thank you all so much for all of your compassion and making something so difficult become so easy! You couldn’t have done anything more!! - The Thompson’s
My wife passed at 0200 and VFC was here within 2 hours from 60 miles away. I was already scheduled to meet with Allen later that morning. He was prompt, courteous, and explained all my options in detail. When I was all done, I felt as though I had made the correct decisions for me and my wife in selecting Veterans Funeral Care.
My family used Veterans Funeral Care for my veteran father about three years ago and then my mother more recently. In both cases they were responsive, flexible, and kind. Well done. Thank you.
Jim and his staff at Veterans Funeral Care took such great care of our family and especially Pop.Our family is grateful for everything veterans funeral care did for us!
If there were six stars, Veterans Funeral Care would have earned that and more. Working with Eric was a pleasure and his willingness to go above and beyond, answer our questions and guide us with grace through the process of laying my father-in-law to rest was beyond all expectations. His phenomenal work was compassionate and caring throughout and we cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone who has lost a loved one, especially those who have served our great country. We are forever grateful for the experience of working with this organization and appreciate their professionalism and compassion immensely.
Dear Eric (Cahill) & staff, We wish to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many acts of kindness, love and support shown to us during this very sad and difficult time. Your professionalism, compassion and attention to detail are second to none!! Were sure LTC Chaplain Hayes would have been very pleased, especially when his wedding band was placed on his finger. It brought us great comfort knowing that our beloved father received exceptional care and were treated with the utmost respect and dignity right to the very end. The arrangements and services were beautiful. Our hearts will forever be grateful to you and your outstanding staff! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything. You are all so very special. With Love, The Hayes Family
Chief and his staff were respectful and knowledgeable. Starting with the team that came to our home to pick up my husbands Dad, to explaining the logistical process to our family a couple days later. Theyve been only helpful and courteous. I am recommending this company to any service related individuals and their families.
What a wonderful staff, they always have gone above and beyond the call of duty, thank you so much.
My 57yr old wife of 35 years died suddenly on March 12, 2020 in Maderia Beach, Florida. Jim Rudolph of Veterans and his entire crew treated me and my family like we were Their Family. I cannot begin to express my appreciation to Jim for all he did for us. Jim went way out of his way to talk to funeral directors in Las Vegas ( our home ) on our behalf and to make needed contacts and arrangements for our return. I could not imagine finding another firm that would have treated us so well in an extreme time of need. Thank you Jim and God Bless you. Marc Wolpert .
Everyone I spoke with here was empathetic yet professional. Blair helped me over the phone so much as my Father passed in Florida and I am stuck in Georgia due to the pandemic. I got great comfort knowing my Dad would be treated with the respect he deserved. If I could give 10 stars I would.
Veterans Funeral Care did a great job in assisting me, they were prompt and courteous!
Everyone at Veterans has been very kind and supportive. They helped make this difficult time an easier time.
Great care and compassion first with Mom in 2016 and now Dad.
What a beautiful facility, and awesome military museum honoring our veterans! Pam and Eric were very attentive!
What an amazing group of caring people! Jim Rudolph spent over an hour with me going over my fathers military record, medals and ribbons. The stories behind those honors gave me a unique insight into my father that I would have never known. I am deeply grateful to Veterans Funeral Care for helping me during a very emotional time. I felt supported through the entire experience. Highest recommendation!
Jimmy Rudolf of Veterans Funeral Care was incredible in his ability to help my family plan the funeral of my Father. He was able to handle details that were overwhelming for my Mother and myself. The empathy and true kindness they brought to this sad time was comforting. I would recommend Veterans Funeral Care to anyone facing an end of life situation. Truly a wonderful company and Jimmy Rudolf is the best!!
Veterans Funeral Care made a difficult situation easier to navigate. Everyone was very respectful and helpful to my brother and me. It was very important to us to follow our fathers wishes after his passing and Jimmy walked us through everything and made it uncomplicated. They were wonderful to work with and I would recommend them without reservation.
At a very difficult time when losing my Dad, Veterans Funeral Care took all the stress out of making the arrangements. From contacting the VA to arranging to have the VFW handling the service and providing a flag, we didnt have to worry about a thing. I want to recommend them with 100% assurance that they will make the experience of losing a loved one from the military a little easier. Much heartfelt thanks.
Veterans Funeral Care took care of my grandfathers funeral. They took care of everything for us so we could be with our family for the whole process. I hope I dont need their services any time soon but they WILL be my first call when I do.
I am the Deputy Commander of a local Honor Guard. We conduct many funerals each year for clients of Veterans Funeral Care. I have always been impressed with the respectful, professional care rendered to each and every Veteran. When contracted to provide care to my non-veteran relatives, I was once again impressed by the respectful care they showed. There is a good reason for the C to be capitalized in the company name!
Fantastic Family owned Business! They have a detailed oriented staff, Mr.Rudolph is by far one of the best!
My mom, 90 passed away and we spoke to Veterans Funeral care service when it happened..Jimmy and his staff immediately took over, making us aware of all that was needed to have a Beautiful viewing and Funeral Mass. Included was a lovely casket, prayer cards ...they also gave a recommendation for florist ..They took such detail with my mom, She looked Beautiful ...Jimmy and his staff were with us every step of the way, always giving us that comfort level that you need when u are in mourning. Jimmy coordinated with church, he reviewed the obituary and after the cremation he even made calls to Brooklyn cemetery..We will be always grateful to Veterans Funeral Care for their loving care of my moms funeral services..
Many thanks to Jimmy Rudolph and the wonderful staff at Veterans Funeral Care. Its hard to plan a funeral when your loved one has just died and youre an emotional wreck. Jimmy was calm and compassionate as he guided me through the process and I appreciate his attention to detail. The service was beautiful and the family and I couldnt be more pleased despite the circumstances. Thank you so much!
The entire staff at Veterans Funeral Care helped my family and I through a very difficult time with attention and professionalism that should be commended as well as recommended for any family experiencing a loved one’s passing.Specifically, the efforts of Blair, Shirley, and Terry gave my Dad the honor and respect he earned as a U.S. Naval veteran.
I was told about this funeral home by a friend and Im glad I took his advice. Jimmy was able to lead me through the whole process and I felt as if my beloved husband was in the most capable hands. From start to finish we were treated with care and respect. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.
Jim Rudolph, Chief Terry, Blair, Pam and the entire staff go out of their way to bring honor and dignity to every service I conduct with them. They are tops in their field at bringing comfort to veterans, their families and now to everyone. They are just a call away. Pastor Daniel Richwine.
I have worked with Jimmy in other capacities and he is a very caring and honest person. When the time comes that I may need funeral services for my loved ones, Jimmy is the one I will trust. I highly recommend this company.
The services provided by Veterans Funeral Care were very good. I felt the staff were very kind, helpful, considerate and compassionate. The service provided by the civil celebrant, Nancy Weil, was wonderful with great attention to detail. The only thing that was not so great was that the area where we were holding my mom’s private service is close to a staff member’s work cubicle. We could clearly hear the staff member speaking on the phone while we were conducting my mom’s service. My suggestion to Veterans Funeral Care would be to move that cubicle space elsewhere or somehow ensure that the staff member refrain from talking during an active service.
No flag provided!! wrong date of death on card.
Veterans Funeral Care is truly the best!! They REALLY do care! I highly recommend them for all your funeral needs! You wont be disappointed,, I promise!;o) Cindy N
We used the funeral home for my mother-in-law. They were caring and informative from the beginning of the process. They also followed through on everything that we requested. Pam Amos had empathy and professionalism in dealing the arrangements. I cannot say enough good things about them--Robin Cholowski
I knew I was in the best hands with Veterans Funeral Care when my beloved husband passed away suddenly at the age of 39 years old. I’ve known Jim and Jimmy Rudolph and his staff for many years before I needed their help during my own family crisis. Everyone went above and beyond for me and my family and I’m ever so grateful to them all. Thank you so very much Veterans Funeral Care! You helped me along the way to make my husband’s funeral service with honor and dignity. May God continue to bless you all. Thank you. J. West
Personalized and caring services with great follow-up and no up-sell pressure. Jimmy and the rest of the Veterans team helped to ease the difficulty of our recent loss. Highly recommended!
During this difficult time the staff was compassionate and helpful knowledgeable and able to assist us greatly in our time of need.
Veterans Funeral Care has an amazing staff. They went out of their way to accommodate us for issues outside of my control. They worked with us every step of the way way.
Everyone I dealt with @ Veterans Funeral Care was wonderful, they took care of all the details and everything was effortless. Thank you for making this traumatic time easier with the care you gave to our Father and Family
My family turned to veterans funeral care when we lost my father in law. the staff at veterans are more like family. they took such loving care of my father in law who left us too soon and equally loving and sincere care of our entire family as we went through such a difficult time. we can not say enough to thank them for everything.
My mom crossed on 12-31-2018 & Veterans Funeral Care took over after my mom crossed in at Suncoast Hospice. The personnel are all very professional & know how to help when in your time of great sorrow & need. They handled everything with great care & compassion. We had our services at their location in Clearwater & Father Bob was great. These professionals deserve a five star rating for being the best of the best. Thanks for all your help & making my family & friends comfortable at my moms celebration of life.
Very courteous and professional people. The name speaks for itself Veterans Care… Jimmy took care of all arrangements for a military ceremony. Thanks again for everything you and your staff provided…..
They are wonderful, caring, and efficient! !Brian has navigated the arrangements for my father to be buried in a national cemetery in another state. I would have been at a loss,
Highly recommended, everything handled great and on time. Allen, Jimmy and Chief were kind and caring during this tough time for our family. Thanks so much.
I have used Veterans Funeral Care twice - my Step Dad and my Mom. They were so caring and understanding during this difficult time. I would highly recommend them. They took care of everything which was a big relief.
Jim Rudolph and his caring team of professionals were wonderful in helping my family at this difficult time. I would highly recommend them!
VFC does a fine job. They took great care of my Father and Mother. The care taken was just perfect. They have excellent attention to detail which helps during such hard times for family. If you purchase a prepaid plan they will handle all the details when the time comes, just by making one call. Thanks to VFC for the love and care give to Mom and Dad!
As a pastor I have recommended Veterans Funeral Care often, not only to veterans but also to citizens who have not served in the military. I have found the service of VFC to be caring, considerate and affordable. Their care and interest in serving the family is without compromise.
Veterans Funeral Care provided our Dad, a member of the Greatest Generation, a well-planned, professional, and meaningful memorial service. We will be forever grateful to Jimmy Rudolph and his wonderful organization for their service.
We have used Veterans Funeral Care for both my father and my mother and have been completely satisfied. I have recommended them to other survivors of vets and would highly recommend them to anyone.
This was our first funeral, so we didnt know what to expect. In a couple words they were very compassionate, accommodating, knowledgeable and financially perfect for us. Thank You!
I dealt with Jimmy & Pam @ Veterans Funeral Care. From the first anxious phone call, thru the memorial service at Florida National Cemetery & after the service, their assistance, compassion, attention to detail & professionalism made all the difference in the world. I had come from CA for a family medical emergency that ended in a death. Veterans Funeral Care told me they would take care of everything & they did. The Veterans Admin. paper work & challenges for a service at Fl. Natl., would have been overwhelming. They worked miracles & quickly. I would very highly recommend the use of their services to anyone.
Absolutely great experience in such a difficult time. They handled everything professionally and efficiently.
Great customer service with a friendly, knowledgeable staff! A comforting presence in such a difficult time.
Veterans Funeral Care did great on my Fathers service!! Thank you from the Thomasons! God Bless America!!
We had a memorial service planned for my dad who passed away at 96. He was a B-17 pilot in WWII. We were working with another funeral home as part of a prepaid arrangement. We wanted a post mass service to honor his time in the military and despite several requests for assistance to set it up, our funeral home failed to help.We accidentally witnessed a service for another vet organized by Veterans Funeral Care at our church during a planning meeting . After hearing our story, Jimmy Rudolph jumped in to help us and we had a beautiful presentation of the colors, Taps and the support of The Patriot Guard Riders. They asked us for nothing in return. We cant properly express the gratitude we felt. The service would not have been the same without their help. We heartily recommend working with them if you have lost a loved one who served.
Amazing, compassionate staff. Went above and beyond to care for my Father with dignity.
Thank you for your services. Everything went very well...Jimmy and Terry did an awesome job.
For the second time, though circumstances are difficult, Veterans Funeral Care took care of our loved one and our family in a very dignified, smooth and personal manner.
Great Company To work with. They are very understanding and we saved a lot. I highly recommend .
This is not a good funeral home to do business with. I read about how they treat there employeesI recommend dont use them at all
I am grateful for the patience, the compassion and the wise counsel I was given, time and time again.
We could not be happier with the dignified and professional service provided by Veterans Funeral Care. In the past year, we have said our goodbyes to a 92yo WWII veteran - Grandpap, and recently his sweet wife of 71 years, Grandma. They personally chose Veterans years ago, and prepaid for their plots and funerals. Would that all could have such foresight. And Veterans provided perfect service and funeral care, from the moment of passing to the final goodbyes. In such times, no one wants the stress of mistakes, unprofessionalism or mediocracy. Veterans Funeral Care made sure their service to our family was a compliment to our grieving and celebration process, with all the honor due our loved ones.
Thank you so much for all your help. I appreciate all the time and effort your staff gave me through this process.
Everyone is so helpful and considerate of customer needs. Highly recommend this business.
Very caring and helpful during this time of sorrow. Pleasant and informative staff
These folks have stepped up and done EVERYTHING they said they would. I am not sure how I would have gotten everything done if they werent in our corner to help us as a family.
