I visited with Castro about 4 months ago for my first visit. I inadvertently must have touched the ratings incorrectly. I absolutely would give him five stars. My experience was very positive, he was very professional and I received one of the best haircuts and shaves ever. I realized today that I did not properly provide the positive review that he should have been given. He was excellent and Im pleased that I will be seeing him again soon. My sincere apologies for any misunderstanding.

I came to Clearwater from Indiana for a vacation with my girlfriend. We were very satisfied with the service and quality of the haircut. I wasn’t looking for anything specific I just wanted to look good. I would recommend this barbershop to anyone looking for a nice cut.

He was open on a Sunday which was amazing!! Took my 2 year old there to get his hair cut and had all 3 or my kids with me!! He popped in a movie and made them feel at home, then did an awesome job on the little ones hair!! And amazing prices!! Cant beat that!! We will definitely be back!!

Great place for haircuts

The hairstylist is pretty good and the barber shop has that old timey feel to it. It is very much a neighborhood barber shop, with the locals hanging around. There is a always a good conversation going on. The barber himself can talk to you on a wide range of topics ranging from the occult to sci-fi.

Castro is the best barber I have found since I moved out here three years ago. Not going back to anybody else the man is an artist! Clean, smooth, & fast!

Came into town for a wedding and in need of a haircut. Castro shaved my head and trimmed up my goatee. Just what I needed. Wife commented to me on how good I looked.

Me and my cousin are from Texas and this barber was badass. From when we walked in until we walked out the experience was awesome. The haircuts were great and only took about 15 min. If I come back to Florida Ill definitely hit him up.

Castro is one of the best Barbers around. He gave me the best cut in under 10 minutes! I’ll never go anywhere else as long as he’s around.

After 17 years I am usually afraid to see what my husbands hair looks like after a visit to the barber. Its usually severly buzzed with absolutely no style and I ask horrified what happened to you?!Not this time! I was SO HAPPY to see how cool he looked! He told me he stopped in Castros Cutz which is right down the street from us. I told him to promise me to never go anywhere else!! He also bought some of Castros own line of shampoo and really likes it. Very Very happy!

Ive worked within a couple blocks of Castros Barbershop for almost 3 yrs and always overlooked it. A sign for the Tuesday & Wendsday $12 walk in special caught my eye so i decided to give it a try. That was 3 monthes ago and i havent been anywhere else since. Two of my co-workers have since started going as well. Castros a great barber, His blending is top notch, He cleans my beard up nice, hes respectful and he doesnt take forever. Deffinetly recommend stopping in there sometime.
