I’m a curly girl and I must say, this is by far the best experience I’ve ever had at a salon. The hairstylist I was working with was extremely knowledgeable about my hair and why it was falling out, how it should be cut, and why I was starting to lose curl. I wish I would have gotten her name!The first time I went there, I had food poisoning and she was sooo understanding and she let me take off. The second time, I didn’t have food poisoning (thank gawd!) but that’s when I got the full effect. She gave me knowledge on my hair, a new style, and an open ear for me to vent.

Called because I was checking to see if they offered electrolysis as I am a person who is transitioning and she didn’t know it. She referred to others as “normal people”. While she did not flat out say it’s abnormal to transistion she most definitely implied it. I would say that as a buisiness she should not show her options but be respectful of all. I’m a person and I am normal. I would say based on this that this is not an lgbtq 🏳️‍🌈 ally buisiness.

I went to get a hair cut and the young lady who cut my hair was very conscious of the fact my hair is natural and curly. She understood it must be cut a certain way for the flow of the curls and the shape to good when dry. She offered me an appointment with a stylist of color but I went ahead and let her cut my hair and she did wonderful!

I love Aqua! If you are looking for something better in Clarksville, this is the place. I have been coming here for years (both locations) and have never had a bad experience. The salon is beautiful, clean and really cute. The staff is very professional and so good at what they do. I usually see Rusty and I am happy every time she colors and cuts my hair. She is the hair whisperer!!! So talented. I highly recommend Aqua for your hair and skin care!

Rusty does a fantastic job with all my facial needs. I always feel relaxed and refreshed when I leave. Rusty always goes out of her way to schedule around my hectic schedule. Shes always super nice, friendly and funny. I enjoy going there.

Desaray is a true professional!!! I had the worlds worst service at another downtown salon up the street and left that place with red hair when I came in expecting to match to my dirty blond roots. My beautiful neighbor who witnessed my disastrous before and after recommended her colorist Desaray at Aqua Color Loft and so I booked her for a color correct. The service was worlds apart. She was efficient and fun to talk to, very confident and knowledgeable about what we would be doing and the results we would expect (the red from the other place seemed to be an accident), and most important of all, she left my one month old dirty blond roots, and matched to them exactly!!! I have the hair I want! Will be very low maintenance and super beautiful when this grows out. Picture with the red hair is the other salon’s attempt at dirty blond... the after pictures are me, super ecstatic about actually getting what I asked for! Also, this space is amazing. It’s an old upstairs space with super tall ceilings. Great city vibe. Can’t wait to come back!!

Best salon Ive been to in Clarksville! Been going here for over a year now. Never had any issues, staff is always friendly.. VERY helpful, Della always makes sure she explains everything to me before she does anything to my hair or recommends products for me to use. Love the atmosphere this salon brings! Oh & those shampoo chairs, LOVE THEM! Never want to get up. Highly recommend this salon to everyone I talk to that asks who does my hair!

My friend recommend Aqua colour Lounge to me. I have always walked out after having my hair colored and/or cut hating it because it wasnt done the way I wanted it or what the picture looked like! But the hair stylist Rachel Rivera at Aqua lounge has done a fantastic job at creating the look that I love and, their products are wonderful making my hair feel and look healthy. From the front door to the back room every body that works at this establishment is so friendly and helpful. Thank you Ladies!

The lounge is very trendy and modern. The staff is highly personable and professional I received my services quickly, and they were knowledgable of my needs. I had an all around great experience however their prices were the highest in the area where as if I was not pressed for time I would have gone to Nashville. I feel like this is a case of small town big price epidemic Maybe some promotions on services would boost their clientele

Today my search for a thorough and knowledgeable stylist has ended!Rose did a phenomenal job on both my cut and my hi lites, lo lites and most importantly she explained every detail from beginning to end answered all my questions without hesitation. Rose truly knows what she is doing, without a doubt a top notch professional.Rose and the entire staff were so pleasant and up beat it was just a comfortable and POSITIVE atmosphere altogether. The stylist all work together and learn from one another which I feel is so important and beneficial to running any good business, Thank you so much for the outstanding service!

I love Aqua Colour Lounge. I have gone to this medspa/salon for laser hair removal and for hair color and cuts. I love it. The staff is always friendly, everyone is informative without being pushy. While having a cancellation policy, they have rescheduled appointments for me when work obligations popped up, as long as I reschedule 48 hours in advance. Overall, I have been very satisfied with my services and I cant wait to go back.

We have been back from Nevada for over two years and although we live in Paris, TN, I am always more than willing to drive to Clarksville to have Rusty do my hair!! She is still the best colorist I know and I am always super pleased with the results! She has great suggestions when I am not sure what I want and I always walk out feeling great:) On top of that Rusty has cared for my hair and me through 6 months of chemo and a long recovery. I would never consider going anywhere else.

Likes the stylist she was very sweet.But my cut was not even that.. Barely a trim ..Way to pricey for what you get!Not worth it

Having just moved to Clarksville, I was looking for a stylist who I could count on for just about anything. It made me nervous to be going to a new stylist when I kept the same for 7+ years. I saw Aqua at many different Expos around the area and heard super great reviews on them. Shelby was my stylist and she did an amazing job. She did exactly what I wanted and was professional and sweet during my visit! Thanks ladies!

I went to Aqua Colour Lounge about a month ago for a haircut. The prices are a little bit higher than what I usually pay (broke young professional here!), but the price is well worth it. My stylist Rose was amazing at finding the right hairstyle for me. She was also really sweet and personable. I cannot say that for other hairstylists I had here in Clarksville. Also, the salon looks very clean, organized and vibrant. I definitely felt comfortable while I was here. Overall, I would definitely recommend this salon!

The staff here is so nice and friendly. I had a laser treatment done and it didnt hurt like I thought it would. Great products and highly trained staff. New favorite spa.

I went here based on a recommendation from a friend for a cut and partial high lights. I was charged a little bit less than she was, for the same service from the same person. I was given a welcome packet that had a card in it saying I could get $10 off a service for writing a review! So, in a sense, they are paying for good reviews. Dont get me wrong, I have been very pleased with my hair. But, on my third visit the price of my regular services suddenly went up $25. I wasnt told this until I went to check out, so I was stuck paying the extra money. I was also told that my stylist had actually gone up in price even more than that, and shes just moving up some of her regular customers more slowly. So, next time I come it will cost another $30 on top of the last increase. What!?!? Her services have basically gone up 35%?! That is a huge increase! It makes me wonder, especially since my friend was already paying more, that they do this to everyone. You know, once you have been there a few times and get comfortable. Who likes to have to change stylists? I actually told her this visit that I trusted her now. Then I get hit with the price increase on the way out the door. Seems a little fishy to me. Now I have to look for a new stylist somewhere else. A small price increase would have been okay with me. But this is too much, and the way they went about it made me very uncomfortable.

Had my hair cut here regularly over the past year or so and loved the atmosphere and Michelle did a wonderful job on my hair. My complaint is that when Michelle left, no one told me. They just moved me to another stylist. I show up to a new stylist with no explanation. I had to question and then was told she was gone. I asked why I wasnt notified or even asked if I wanted to switch. Got a lot of beating around the bush. I found this very unprofessional and have decided to go elsewhere. I dont mind paying a little more for service, but I dislike being surprised with a new stylist.

I understand that all the reviews are great as I took the advice of the reviews when I went to the salon. My hair cut was performed by their level three stylist (the highest other than the owner). I paid $65 and came out with a cut that I would have expected visiting a beauty school. There were chunks missing out of my hair, and one side was a 1/2 inch longer than the other. When I contacted the salon to discuss a refund, the owner, Rusty Richards, would not even speak with me regarding the problem, and in fact turned and walked away without acknowledging me or addressing my concerns. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If your hair cut is fine, all is great, if you dont receive what you expect, dont bother requesting them to fix it as their only solution is to put you back under the scissors of the person who originally botched your hair.

Always a great experience. Great staff. Fair prices. Quality products.

This spa is extremely professional. The manager called me to check up on the micropeel I was given after reading a review on my experience. Though my skin did not take too well to the procedure the manager did provide me with a discounted service that did work on my skin. Both aestheticians who worked with me were very helpful and kind; its evident they are passionate about their jobs and that the salon as a whole cares about their clients.

I will never come back to this salon. This place was absolutely filthy.. The customer service was horrible. I went in to have my blonde touched up and came out like a cheetah with spots all over. I paid top dollar and they overcharged me. I requested that they fix the color in my hair and they advised me that I would not be receiving any further services unless I paid full price again. NEVER AGAIN.

Came here to get a black/silver ombre and the result was amazing! I was so worried that it wouldnt turn out right but Della did an amazing job! Love this salon I felt so welcome.

Im new to Clarksville, and after doing some research, I chose The Aqua Colour Lounge Salon and Spa. It was such an enjoyable experienceand I left feeling beautiful. My stylist, Elizabeth was awesome! She was attentive and listened to everything I wanted but still gave me a professional opinion. She cut and styled my hair specific to my hair type. The salon was very cool and modern, a refreshing surprise, here in Clarksville. The receptionists were super friendly, and very well dressed. I had my hair done a little over a week ago and since I have had a courtesy call to check on my experience, as well as a thank you card in the mail. This salon is amazing and I will continue to get my hair done here. I just love it! I cant wait to try the the Spa.

OVERCHARGED ME LIKE CRAZY! $200 for an all over color when they told me $80 in the beginning.I was a new customer to Aqua so I called first to ask how much an All Over Color would be and they stated $80. That seemed reasonable so I decided to go for it. The salon was very nice and the staff pretty friendly. There was a new secretary training and my hair stylist was in her first week at Aqua as well. She was nice and I was very satisfied at the end with my hair. THEN I went to pay. The secretary in training was just about to finish ringing me up when another women (who was training her) stated to wait because they had to use extra dye. So my hair stylist was asked how much extra dye she had to use on my hair. And she was unable to state how much. It seemed like they just came up with an amount and randomly charged me. They were all sitting at the desk looking at the computer and then a few minute later came up with a number. I ended up paying almost $200 for an ALL OVER COLOR. Not a balayage or full foil, or even partial foil! But an ALL OVER COLOR. More than DOUBLE what they had originally told me an all over color would cost. I have pretty long hair, just about level to my diaphragm. But not once did anyone mention any extra dye needing to be used because of my hair length or what the cost would be for this extra dye. Cause believe me if I would have known, I wouldve walked straight out that door before paying $200 for an ALL OVER COLOR. I just moved from Seattle and went to one of the top salons there (Gene Juarez) and I can get a Balayage which requires way more technique with very experienced stylists for $200. I would be afraid to ask how much Aqua charges for a Balayage... Dont get me wrong, my hair stylist at Aqua did a great job. But she was only in her first week there and usually new stylists do not charge that much for their services until they build a clientele. She told me she had been cutting hair for over 30 years but had been cutting mens hair for some time at Bos near the military base. Regardless I did like my hair and I was going to RESCHEDULE my hair cut and I mean reschedule because my stylist did not have time to get to my haircut. BUT THANK GOD cause I probably would have ended up spending over $300 if I got a haircut with them. Its a shame because Melissa did a good job.

I will never go back there-I have very short hair and 2 weeks ago paid 90$ for a trim, no color, no waxing, no other treatments, and already need another haircut. I was FLOORED when she told me the price up front, for literally a trim. And then the hairdresser smelled of smoke and smacked gum in my ear the whole time, while discussing her past of drug abuse. One of the worst experiences Ive had in a salon.

Had a friend go there and told me how horrible the service was, and how they overcharged her like crazy. Would hate for anybody else to go there and have the same issue.
