Had these guys rebuild a starter, they did it incorrectly and dam near burned my truck up due to starter improperly configured. Will not use again. Beware of these guys

First time using their service. I will for sure be back if I ever ever need this service again. The older gentleman who owns the place was great. He helped me on the spot with a starter that wasnt working. He had a solenoid and replaced it for us. During the process he discovered a missing nut, he handed me his keys and told me to go get one. I felt the instant friendship and trust the gentlemen had in me. He didnt know me but to trust me with his personal vehicle speaks volumes. If you ever need any starter work this is the place to stop at. Thanks again for the help!

I recommend these folks to everyone! Great service fast turn around (less than 2 hours) and had everything on hand. I have been a mechanic for about 15 years and usually do everything myself but i could not find a rebuild kit for my starter that would ship to me in a reasonable amount of time, so I searched around for a local shop and was not disappointed one bit. As long as I live in the area they will get my business and everyone I know. Thanks for the great service and I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Came in to have starter rebuilt and they rebuilt it quickly. Brought it home put it on my boat it started about 3 times then the starter went out again. Brought it back with receipt of service because they said it was covered under warranty. They honored the warranty 1 time and while they was fixing it they informed me to NOT bring it back again that they would not honor it no more if it went out. Sure enough the starter went out AGAIN and bought a new one from a boat repair shop and they put it on and showed me the inside of the starter I had rebuilt from Sure Start and it was broke in half.

Called in advance talked to the gentleman on the phone about my issue he said to come on in. He quoted me a really good price (a heck of a lot cheaper than the refurbished alternators from your name brand auto stores) and offered to install it (also a heck of a lot cheaper than your name brand auto shops). He took no time at all getting it out and installing the new one. I had a really good experience and would DEFINITELY recommend getting your work done there. (Also you can take the part off and bring it in to save the install cost. I just didnt have the time to do so, so I had them change it).
