The car I came to look at had just sold the day before. This new 2021 Rogue had just came off the truck. I took it for a test drive and loved it. I had the most pleasant experience at Mathews Nissan.The salesman I worked with was Trey, and he went above and beyond what I expected. Not only was he very prompt and polite right from the start, but he worked with me to get me a great deal. I had just paid off my last car, but had not received a lien release letter from my previous auto loan company. Trey and the finance team worked very hard with me to get the information I needed to secure the best financing possible. After about 18 hours, I finally got enough information for approval, but the person cosigning with me lived an hour and a half away and wasnt going to be able to come to the dealership to sign.Trey told me Tell you what. You come here and sign your half of the paperwork. I live halfway to where your cosigner lives. Ill take the paperwork with me, they can meet me halfway and sign their half, and you can pick your car up in the morning.The car is in like-new condition, exactly what I wanted and needed, and at a fantastic deal.If you are looking for a great deal, quality you can put your trust in, and a dedicated salesman and dealership, then call Mathews Nissan and ask for Trey!
When I got to the dealership I was greeted promptly by Darryl. He was very friendly and professional and made me and my family feel very comfortable. THREE other dealerships missed out on a sale because they never even came outside to ask if I needed help and I walked around one lot for 20 minutes with my whole family! He wasn’t pushy and answered all of our questions. When it came time for the numbers I can’t say enough good things about Marcus March. I heard him at one point talking to a finance guy and I know for a fact he did everything he could to earn our business. I’ve been to lots of dealerships and this was my best experience by far. I have purchased several cars in the past but have yet to have such an experience as this. When I walked in, I had no intention of making a purchase for a vehicle much less for one that was brand new. I was there to offer my mother something to eat for lunch as she had been there for several hours deciding between vehicles. While there, I met Bobby and Donielle. Donielle told me about the newest model of the pathfinder that offered all of the things I was interested in and more! Bobby pulled the car up and worked hard to work the finances out to have my payment where I was comfortable paying while Donielle took me for a test drive. Donielle stayed with me the entire time and made me feel so comfortable. I never once felt hustled or pressured into the sale and it seemed as if I had a friend there next to me. She was so knowledgeable about the vehicle and put me at ease. I am beyond grateful! After all the paperwork was finished, Donielle took pictures with me and made sure I had them so I could post on social media bragging about my new purchase at Mathews Nissan! Just prior to leaving, I had both Bobby and Donielle sitting in the car with me to set up my CarPlay and make sure I was comfortable with all the controls of the new vehicle. They were comfortable with me leaving my other vehicle on the lot until my husband and I could return later that evening to pick it up and even offered to drive it home for me! That meant so much that they would take that time for me! I had such a great experience and I look forward to returning in the future for any service needs or when I am ready to trade/purchase again. Do not buy a used vehicle from Mathews Nissan, from Jeremey Russell on either side or the sales manager Buddy. They sell lemons. My husband and I purchased a 2005 Nissan Xterra a few months ago. We were told there had been a new transmission and radiator put in, so we thought it would be a good purchase.I did not have the car for a week and found they sold it to us with burnt oil, even though there was paper work stating it had just had an oil change. Then we found the coolant looked like chocolate milk, the gas gage was not working and the VDC off and slip light would come on.We bought it with only two things needing to be fixed and ended up with a whole bunch of problems. When I went in a was spoken down to by the salesman Jeremy Russell and the used sales manager Buddy. Jeremy even stated he knows nothing about the cars he is selling, he just sells them.We then had it looked at by a mechanic and the power steering bolts were loose and all the fluids were burnt and dirty. We no longer felt comfortable with Mathews Nissan working on the vehicle due to the problems never being fully fixed.My husband is gone in the field with no phone and my car was having problems so I took it to another Nissan place and found out the transmission needs replaced and my brake switch also needs replaced. Seeing as it had just had a transmission put in right before I bought it, this should not be happening.I am now stranded with no car and cannot reach my husband. DO NOT buy a used vehicle from them. All they have done is lie and play games and we are now left with a lemon.Legal people have been contacted and I would not wish this upon anyone, especially another young female.

Im not really sure where to begin with the mess of this place. The website had pictures that were not very detailed and only showed the van from a distance which looked ok. The salesman was addiment on getting deposit to hold the van due to so many people calling and wanting to buy it. He told me on the phone first time I talked to him that someone with a big family and a lot of money will buy this thing so if you want it you better put a deposit down on it, however the deposit was non refundable if we did not purchase the van. I told him we have a large family and NOT a lot of money... I also asked if they could come down on price any and he insisted that his manager would not budge at all due to getting so many calls about it. So we put a deposit down to hold it hoping that this would work out considering how few these vans are for sale and we lived 4 1/2 hours away. We also asked him about why the website said 1 owner and the carfax showed 2 owners and he said that it was sold, but financing fell through and the title got transferred back to them...I stopped him and said look man no need to give a story, I KNOW for a fact that a title does not get transferred until the money is worked out... He got quiet and said that he would check into it. After getting the financing worked out we left the next morning early to go to the dealership and on the way my wife starting looking a the KBB value and just checking the details to know what we were getting into before arriving. After figuring out that the list price was over $2000 more than the blue book value I called the salesman and asked if he could pull the value of it and have it ready and asked if he knew that it was over. His response was yeah we know its above the value. I asked why would they list it so high and not negotiate the price and he said its about supply and demand, someone will buy at this price so the price cant go down any. I told him that its not right to sell a vehicle for more than its worth and he just said well man we can sit down and talk about it after you look at it and drive it. He insisted that we would love it when we looked at it and wouldnt be dissapointed... So we continued our trip to the dealership and talked to Randy. When we arrived he said he had the van ready to go and test drive if we wanted. He also pointed out the it just got back from getting detailed and when we opened the door this van was a mess. There was dog hair all over it, coffee stains on the steering wheel, food stuck between the seats, melted something in the carpet, scratches on the paint, it was missing the radio knob (which we did ask about before the trip but was not given an answer as to whether it would be fixed or not) and the radio antenna on the outside was missing. I just asked him if he was serious about the detail and he said yeah. There was literally duct tape and band aides under the arm rest/compartment. I told him there was no way I would pay that price for the vehicle in this shape and he said we could talk to his manager about it. When we got inside the manager was very arrogant and said that someone will buy it at that price and that he needed to get as much out of it as he could. He already had 2 buyers he turned away for it and he couldnt do anything about the price. I told him that it was nasty inside and that they should have at least cleaned it or taken better pictures so we didnt waste our time. He said that he knows the detailing sucked and the pictures are from a 3rd party so he couldnt control it, but he could knock off $500 due to the inconvenience. I asked him to go outside and look at the inside with me and he said he didnt need to he believed me and there was nothing he can do, he said test drive it and give me the price I told you, or dont. So we decided to drive it just to see how it drove and it drove good, seemed decent mechanically however there was also a really bad odor, it was most likely from the dogs I imagine. We walked away and I would NOT recommend!!! If you pay cash they WILL take advantage of you!
We made a trip to Mathews Nissan from Western KY after work one night. We made it clear when we arrived that we would not be making a decision that day but wanted to test drive a vehicle to narrow down our decision. We met with Sam Morris, who was patient and answered all of our questions. We went on a test drive with him, and he was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. When we got back, he gave us his number and we gave ours. Unlike other salesmen, he did not hassle us for followup but did send requested information and pictures as quickly as we asked for them. Ultimately, we ended up purchasing from Mathews. Again, we arrived near closing after work one evening (with their permission) and multiple employees stayed until the deal was done. Sam was very informative and went through each step with us as well as the functions/features of the new vehicle. We didnt leave until almost 9pm, but no one showed any sign of annoyance. Sam also checked in the next day to see how we liked it! Highly recommend the dealership and Sam in particular. Love my new vehicle!

All around a great group of people made my experience very comfortable not pushy it was great.

ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE MEMBERUnprofessional and inaccurate. For my dealer to be a PRIOR SERVICE SERGEANT he shouldn’t have had such a flippant attitude towards a CURRENT active service member. Dealership fees on the website advertisement was in the $600s, I went to the dealership and it became $842. Did not honor their website whatsoever. MY DEALER I had the appointment with, had an untrained member that had no information on the vehicle show me the car, and was not prepared for my appointment. After test driving when I discussed my loan. He felt the way for him to help me buy the car was seeing if I could get a higher loan with a higher interest rate. They cut the dealership lights off and locked all doors told me to have a “nice night” while we were discussing the Jeeps price after I wanted them to consider dropping the price for what the car was actually WORTH. They price gouged the down payment saying “2000”, then “2100”. Then assumed putting money down was an issue because I did not agree with them upping that price. Made smart comments about the fact my wishes weren’t to pay over my loan. Spoke on the fact I don’t pay sales tax because I am active duty and that’s a reason I shouldn’t discuss on talking the car down and THAT is my “DISCOUNT”. When the state is the reason I pay no taxes NOT that the dealership is willing to work for my business at all. I did my research on the vehicle with the Dealerships most trusted website for a valuation since they base their dealer retail price on NADA and it was still way less than what they were willing to sell the car for. The price for a fully loaded, well kept vehicle was still way under what they were willing to discuss with me. They were aware that I did my research and wasn’t willing to discuss the things that did not make sense to me based on THEIR website information and everything they were saying.

Well someone told me Mathews Nissan rents cars. I called and they said sure well do it. That very same day I needed a car, they had one ready. No appointment necessary. I just drove up to the service area and I explained to Rodney that I wanted my 2018 Rogue tires rotated because the tire maintenance notification wouldnt turn off. Rodney explained that usually happens when the car is due for an oil change too. Even though the mileage was way under the sticker recommendation, the date was way overdue. Rodney explained that it would be best to have the oil changed anyway. So I agreed.

I was very impressed with the customer service that was offered. I felt like I was at a hotel that offered a concierge service rather than at a mechanic shop. I didn’t utilize them, but the snacks, drinks, coffee and popcorn offered all made it feel as though Matthews genuinely cared for our wait time. I also loved that I had text communication with my representative and that I had a link to view where my vehicle was in the lineup. Rodney was wonderfully welcoming and friendly.
Took hours! Came in with a trade and a large down, chose 1 vehicle and still took hours. Attempted to buy dealer all weather floor mats and the price was $60.00 higher than Murfreesboro Nissan and I didn’t even buy my vehicle in Murfreesboro!! Customer loyalty isn’t what it used to be for sure. Folks are just numbers and a sales figure on a chart.

After finding this dealer through Sams Club / True Car, Bobby picked up on the lead the very next morning and worked with me via email and text initially to get me the car I wanted. Mathews Nissan is 70 miles away but they had everything ready when my daughter and I arrived. We looked over the vehicle and signed all the paperwork. Bobby took us through several of the safety features using a tablet which was very effective and quick. We both own Nissan vehicles but this past weekend I really experienced true customer appreciation! Mike Fields went above and beyond for us. On a Sunday my rogue which was 3 years old mind you completely went haywire. I had spent the afternoon at a Urgent Care and came out just wanted to go home. My vehicle wouldn’t start. Just was acting haunted. So on a Sunday afternoon Mike not only went into the dealership but he also called to calm me. He sent a tow truck no questions asked and then the next morning by 8:10 he was on the phone letting me know it was taken care of completely. And greater than that it was covered under warranty. A rental from Alice & Seneca was quick & easy5 ⭐. Pick up the car, get to gas station turn car back on and it wont start. They didnt replace batteryproperly.Had to get AAA out got home at 11pm. Not happy after we paid a lot of money and trusted Nissan to take care of us. We had to buy equipment to attach 🔋 properly ourselves, upsetting and when we complained it was just kind of shrugged as though we just complaining to hear our own voice. No remorse or customer Service that would appear empathic 2⭐. They were not responding as I expected. Might consider changing review if they were better in the customer Service aspect. So just got a new battery for the drama we went through. Guess Im really pleased with the fix to the problems I thought were going to be overlooked. Thank you Mathrws Nissan. 5⭐

A guy by the name of Marcus has made my friends life harder by not being all the way real with her from the beginning! He made her get insurance for a vehicle and basically sold her the car, just to tell her that her paycheck stubs were not showing a full 40 hours even tho she is salary paid worker.. She sat in the office for 5 hours waiting to drive away in her new car.! I was waiting with her to drive the old car home but it didn’t happen that way! Usually car lots supposed to verify everything before making the sale and requesting full insurance of the car! After he finally said she can’t get the car but he can hold on to it for her, She waited and came back one month later with the full 40 hours showing on her pay stub! Not to mention she has car insurance on a car that’s not in her possession! He then ran her credit again when she came back for the car and he told her that her check stub was not credible even tho she is a salary paid worker no matter how many hours she works she will still get paid the SAME amount. My friend was upset! So she gave him a piece of her mind and hung up on him, he then called back and said I know you still love me like he was taunting her!!! I sat there in awe that a business man was actually doing this to a customer after he lied to her about being able to get the car! I was going to buy a car from this company after my friend but knowing this situation I WILL NEVER buy from them .. If he can bs about this there’s no telling what else is Bs about the company!
Mr Cottrell was so kind, professional, informative and welcoming. By the way Mr Cottrell went above and beyond helping me contact my warranty company. My car now runs like a top.

The service technician was extremely helpful. The issue with the vehicle was quickly identified and he explained all options I had available. Working with the team at Mathews Nissan is always a positive experience.
