Came in with a tire that has had a slow leak for a long time & getting worse. They were professional, very friendly with prompt service. Repaired a leaky valve stem and to my amazement, did not even charge me a dime! This place is awesome and l will be recommending them to everyone l know in the Clarksville area. I have been coming here since 2008. They are honest, and have taken great care of all of our vehicles, ranging from tires, oil changes, mechanical things with the cars. I have only been here a couple times but they have excellent customer service and a quick turnaround time. They took the time to explain what they were doing with my car, and were much more affordable and more transparent than the hyundai dealership. The dealership had quoted me a price for the same work (plus work that I didnt even need) and Gateway got the work done for half the price and was did not try to sell me anything I didnt need. Will definitely return when I need work done.

Extremely professional, understanding, great work, and I’ll just say, so fair with the price that I felt guilty. I went in for a tire re-bead due to a small leak I could not fix on my own. This was my first time ever coming here and the mechanic made me feel like I was the only customer they had even though they were busy. Not only did he re-bead, re-seal, and fixed my steel rim issue, he also re-patched the tire professionally, placed the tire back on my suv, and put the spare back where it belonged, charging me the lowest price ANYONE could charge. Truly, they have earned my service from now on and I know where I will be going to get anything done on my vehicles.

Brought my VW Passat in for new tires and was greeted/treated fairly from the first phone call! They were extremely friendly and informative for the entire service, even showing me an issue with my lugs as they were working on my car!Being the type of person who likes to work on their own vehicle, admitting the one type of service I can’t do myself, they made me feel comfortable leaving my car with them! Only had to wait an hour for the service to be completed.Hands down my new go to place for tires! You won’t be disappointed with these folks!

I called my usual place where I get tires and it was going to take 3 to 5 days. They made me feel like they appreciated my business. Every one was professional, I added an oil change - last minute and they had my car ready in 45 minutes. I’m sold! This is my new tire place... They’re excellent!

Gateway was very good experience. They were unable to align my because of worn bushings. There was no charge for them to put it on the rack and check the unferside of the car from bumper to bumper. Will definately return!

Tires and alignment great

I will definitely come back for my cars needs! They were very quick and very kind. I was told by two other places I needed a new tire due to a nail being in one of mine. I came in ready to purchase a new tire and they said it was able to be patched and they even rotated my tires. I feel like they actually care about doing whats reasonable and right for their customers and arent just doing their job for an extra dollar. Thank you all, for all of your kindness and prompt work.

They said it would be about 3 hours to patch my tires since they were busy but i was in and out within an hour and a half and the patch was free. Incredibly nice and they shoed me the nails and explained why a pack might not hold (nail was at weird angle) i will be going here for all tire needs from now on.

I have been a customer of Gateway Tire for about 2 years plus some, now. I started when my cars warranty expired and I did not like the dealership price for an oil change. When needed, I bought tires there, again a much better price than the dealership or others. Yesterday I picked up a screw in my tire, I was also in need of an oil change and rotation. Without an appointment, they got me in and out in a very reasonable time for under $50.00 using synthetic oil. The person I met at my first visit and sold me the tires, said hi to me yesterday. This is my shop for tires and maintenance for my car.

Im from out of state, Im female visiting Tn in a 3500 Dodge truck. I had a extension valve stem come off inside tire causing it to be flat. And up on realizing this I also need the other extension valve removed also to prevent a flat on that side too. I have a large slide in camper on truck. The manager at gateway was very helpful and polite. They replaced regular valve stem, which fixed tire, removed extension valve stem from other side, checked air in all 6 tires. Being female alone from out of state in need of help they were respectful. If Im ever in need of any work again no matter what state Ill always try and find a gateway tire center. First impression was the manager was approachable and professional. Brought a drive shaft in to have the u joints replaced. One of the caps was completely broken and there was a retaining clip missing from another. There were also several retaining clips not in place. Thankfully I noticed this out in the parking lot and didnt have this installed on my car yet. I have been here 3 hours now and still waiting to have it fixed properly.

It is hard to look forward to returning to a service shop, not so here. Being that vehicle maintenance is dreaded by all of us, I actually look forward to my continued return to this shop. The price, quality of work and high quality of team will find me back at Gateway in the next few months for more vehicle maintenance. I will not say Keep up the good work, instead I will say, you continue the great work time and time again. Thank you.

I think I found my go-to car repair place. They were fast, honest, not pushy, said big car words to me like I knew what he was talking about... I spent the whole time antique shopping while they worked on my car. Perfect.

Great place! Gateway tire had the best price in town for my tires and the service was fast. Only took them an hour to put my tires on, balance and rotate them. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They even offered to put on cartoons for my child as we waited.

I had a absolute wonderful experience here! Everyone was so kind I brought my car in right before closing and they took my car, found the problem and fixed it in less than an hour...it turned out to be something really small....but its such a breath of fresh air to find genuine mechanics especially as a women I dred taking my car anywhere....but this was the best experience I ever had....

I moved to Clarksville years 4 ago and needed my tires checked out. I noticed Gateway Tires. They looked at my tires right away so l did not forget them.Four years later, l needed new tires.Gateway had the best price and l was able to wait for my tires to be put on.The next week, one tire was low. It had not been replaced because it was fairly new. Again, l waited and they found a nail. Once they had fixed it, they said your car is ready. But at no charge! Thanks again.

After dealing with another repair shop, trying to get my windshield wipers repaired I stopped at Gateway and they recognized the spot I was in with rain coming. Immediately they took the car in and repaired the wipers without it costing me an arm and a leg. They have my business from now on! Great people and service!

Great place to get tires mounted and balanced. Alignment was perfect.Fast friendly service. Mechanic of 15 years and I would recommend them.

Expected to wait 2+ hours to start work on a busy day. Waited only 1+ hours for all 4 tires to be changed. Courteous staff, clean, and locally owned. Also the business is very invested in the local community. Each week they donate $3.00 of every oil change to a local charity organization.

Great prices didnt try to push you to buy any piticular brand. Very nice staff and speedy service even though they only had 2 operators doing the service. Good team work.

Edited: I regret jumping the gun with my original 3 stars. Todd saw my comment about finding a better price at Binkleys and gave me a call within the hour. Explained that he had gone to great lengths to find the best prices for me he could and that Binkleys had not figured in brake lines and other parts. He even knocked the top off his original price. Extremely straight up and honest, and Im sure the service will match the quality of customer service when I pick my car up. Gateway has earned a new loyal customer.

I brought my car in on Saturday march 17 for an alignment. They had several ahead of me but I needed to have it done. They got to me in a matter of no time.way quicker than i expected.The young gentleman that was performing alignments was very professional and knowledgeable when I spoke to him about my car(believe his name was david). He did an amazing job and I look forward to bringing more business to him and the other guys there.

We love this place! Josh was great in keeping us up to date on our repairs. They are very polite and professional and we plan to continue using them for all of our vehicle maintenance needs!

Their customer service is great, but the service that was done on my car wasn’t so much. I had a wheel bearing installed on my from left tire and a few days later I had the very same problem, almost 500 dollars out of my pocket for nothing, I wish I could have taken my car back but I was only in town for a few days and didn’t have time. Would not ever come back to let them do any work on my car.

We had a blowout on I-24 and needed a new tire for our 38 ft Newmar Mountain Aire RV. Stopped here and ended up replacing all 4 rear tires. Great price and very professional. Gateway Tire & Service at 101 Hornberger Lane, Clarksville, TN saved my trip! I rented a car from Hertz to come to my granddaughters 3rd birthday party. I found a screw in my tire and called Hertz. Hertz Emergency Roadside Service told me to find the spare and change it myself and drive an hour away to get a replacement car. I read all the great reviews about Gateway Tire. I explained the situation, turned in my key and took a seat. The was friendly and polite. Twenty minutes later my patch was complete. I headed to the counter and the staff waived me off. No charge. My daughter and son in law just moved here in July. They will now have a reputable service center for their cars. Im sure they will tell all of their coworkers at Austin Peay University about this experience!

After the KIA dealer quoted me for a problem I didnt have, I wanted a second opinion. The dealer said it was my steering column that caused my severe squeaking, after they replaced my serpentine belt last month. ?? Gateway Tire solved my problem for free. The tech saw the problem right away and took him 10 minutes to find and solve it. Andrew said it was no charge for something that took less than 15 minutes. I decided to ask about new tires and alignment, since I now had extra money. Andrew quoted me new tires, alignment and labor for less than anyone in town. Because of Andrews great customer service, our future automotive needs will be serviced at Gateway Tire.

Went in to to try to replace some tires and get an alignment before work. They werent able to completely finish before I had to go to work, so I told them I would be back during my one hour lunch break. Im not sure if they pulled another car out of the bay. Yet, when I got there, they pulled me in, and my alignment done in less than 30 minutes...couldnt ask for more. Not to mention the parking lot was full of cars.

I actually didnt get any work done on my car here but my daughter did who is in the Army. I was very pleased that she received a free oil change for Memorial Day. I really appreciate the little things like that being done for my child who is far from home!!
