Unbelievable how well they fixed my teeth. I thought I was a hopeless case, 6 months and many visits later, my smile is back and even better than I hoped. I am so happy. This office, these Dr.s, assistants and everyone working there, are so nice and pleasant. It is a nice atmosphere and you feel comfortable.I cant thank Dr. Yay, ( not sure how to spell it) enough. I am truly grateful!

Worst orthodontist ever I pray no one has to deal with these people. There so unprofessional, they’ve lost cleaning files so I’ve had to do it a again after I already did it. And I’ve been in every month to get my monthly brace tightening and they haven’t tightened them in about 5 months. Honestly I don’t know if I’ll ever get my braces off. Please do not go here for your own good. Also when I first tried to get braces they said it’d take about a month for the payments to go through and after that month they again lost the files for the payment so I had to wait another month.

The worst service possible rendered to my clients and myself. On 9/4/21 a client walked in after an appointment was made and having verified office assignment through Western Dental for this location was treated like garbage by this staff. They refused to speak to me so I could help mitigate and resolve the misunderstanding. Your office needs training in customer service and verification. I will file a formal grievance with the health plan.

I had a terrible treatment. I should have ran when the dentist accused me of trying to sue him. I have drug allergies and the dentist accused me if lying should have ran I left crying. Signed up for permanent dentures 3 yrs later still waiting for that. When removing my teeth Novocain and lidocaine dripped down my throat I had to go to ER couldnt breathe. The more I coughed the more violent it felt. I paid them off finally and they will never touch me again. They left parts of teeth in my mouth have to go to another dentist to finish work.

In my second appointment everything went well good job of the dentist !!! I recommend it 100%

They literally waste my time! I booked an appointment 2 days before and they reminded me early this morning about my cleaning appointment. I drove to their clinic 20mins early than my set appointment, just to be told that they have a lot of patient and they cant accommodate me today! Horrible experience!

Ive been going to Western Dental Claremont for more than 20 years. The staff there are wonderfully personable yet professional. Well, the Doctors – the Dentists there you would think that they were one of your best and closest friends; kind, patient, uplifting, and someone who you can really trust with something so personal. And, just as a friend they want you to not only feel your best but also, honestly look tour best.

Today was my third visit to this office this year. By FAR this office has been the BEST representation of what Social Distancing SHOULD look like! Their icing on the cake would be having hand sanitizer available when you walk in the door... I would have called the Media!💯

BAD EXPERIENCE had my appointment @9am also I’m pregnant; therefore, no need for X-rays all I went for is a check up and cleaning. The Dr was very nice but when I talked to him he asked if I wanted to get the cleaning done when that’s what I booked my appointment for ? I was confused then I was just waiting in the back until 1030 when they finally started my cleaning then stopped until the doctors was available to finish it. Never had that type of experience at the dentist didn’t feel calm I was more anxious bringing me back bad memories of the dentist. They did my cleaning in 10 min felt rush so never going back again!

And Dr Ye was amazing right away he made me. feel relaxed his manner was just so calm and kind it made the hole experience a lot easier to handle. Thank you Dr Ye. And all the staff were great too

TERRIBLE!! These are the type of dentist that make people afraid to even see a dentist. First visit : try to sell me cleaning molds that would cost me over $1200, because they said my insurance wouldn’t cover the cleaning necessary. 2nd visit: all the sudden my medical coverage covers the cleaning I needed. The dentist ended up jabbing at my teeth so aggressively that my head was slamming into the chair. (pain lasted for over 2 weeks). 3rd visit: finishing the cleaning and i felt a electric shock in my mouth when needle was insisted carelessly. I have had nerve damage now for several weeks and it hurts to open and chew. I can’t believe these people are still open and haven’t been sued. I have not had any serious tooth issues in a decade and never have i experienced torture and poor care like this from any dentist. I highly discourage going to this place. On top of that you don’t want to see how disgusting the cleanliness is of the procedure room.

Went to western dental and got some braces which was a little pricey but worth it! I love my new smile and Debbie the receptionist is the best always welcoming, helpful, and most of friendly! Also, the doctors are very friendly and professional. Definitely recommend them!

I’ve seen many bad reviews about western dental but this location was no problem at all. It was actually great! All the staff were nice and helpful. Brianna helped me out a lot with booking my appointments and worked with my schedule, she explained my treatment plan and was straight to the point as well as the Manager who also was a good help. Great job!

Dr. Ye was very thorough and patient when helping me out. Going over the X-ray results and images on the screen made me more at ease of what’s going on in my mouth. Amusing doctor, staff including Christina were very happy and easy to talk to. Most likely come back. Thanks team!

Went in to get a tooth pulled, which is covered by insurance. The dentist would not pull my tooth unless I agreed to get a deep tooth cleaning and gum treatment and left there saddled with a $3,000 bill which required me to take out a loan. Will never go there again.

I am a new patient and have had a very negative experience with this office. In a nutshell, their front desk staff is disorganized and have poor communication between the staff members and with patients.A few examples:- Ive been to their office 4 separate times (just this month), and all because of errors made on their end that I had to keep coming back- I arrived for one of the appointments and they proceeded to tell me they couldnt see me that day - but they had forgot to call me to cancel the appointment. Very unprofessional.- A few of the front desk staff do not communicate clearly when they call you - they speak fast and without mentioning they are calling from Western DentalOverall, this office needs to work on their customer service and communication skills amongst the staff and with their patients. I already filed a grievance with the company, and I will not be returning.

This is the first time I have written a Google review for anyone but it is deserving. I had nothing but a great experiences while going to see this dentist. The team was great and the manager did a great job ofexplaining everything that was going to be done and listening to what I had to say. He kept me calm during my appointment and answered all of my questions. After seeing many different dentists I can say they diffenetley have a great leader and TEAM. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My son went to the dentist/orthodontist for the first time and the staff was so awesome. Ive been treated on the orthodontists side of western dental and Ive had great experiences so far. Angie and Debbie at the front desk are so sweet and even when they are busy or understaffed they apologize for the wait. I know how hard it is to work in customer service and they do a good job. Sometimes you just cant please everyone. Doctor Ku is also very nice. I would definitely recommend this place for braces.

At Western Dental in Claremont, the staff is always friendly and always smiling. The receptionist always welcome me and their other patients with a warm hello and smile. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. This is the first google review I get to write. This place is full of unprofessional staffs who do not hesitate lying to extract money out of you. They billed me and my insurance company more than a thousand dollars when I went there for simple cleaning.THE LATINO GUY who tried to sell me products and brought me with the quotations said he would be able to WAIVE the payment that I need to make and told me I do not need to pay anything since they could bill to the insurance company instead. IT IS A LIE and I just received a letter from a debt collector few months after the visit.I CALLED THE OFFICE to check whats going on but the customer service lady just told me, yeah he waived it for the day but you eventually have to pay. So, I asked her so the guy lied?. She answered back, I dont know about that.THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!

Ortho department: Letty was amazing, she helped me and work with me. Debbie is also great, she assisted me in scheduling and worked with my schedule. I really liked that. I also liked Dr. Duong, she is very sweet and pleasant. I’m glad I chose western dental.

Front desk is horrible and noisy. People leave message on my VM does not speak clearly to leave even their ph. number. Dentist doctors are great, but sad that it is so hard to reach to them since the operators are not professionals.

I have gone to Western Dental for more than 4 years now. In this time i have had cleaning, fillings, and 2 crowns.. Khim (dental assistant) has always been there and is wonderful; shes got the magic touch. Dr. Ye is funny, matter-of-fact and extremely careful to consider all the angles in his examinations and the advice he gives. His work (on my teeth that needed a crown)s was painless and perfect. I would recommend Western, especially Khim and Dr. Ye, but also the rest of their staff, without hesitation. They are far better than many private practice dental experiences I have had.

Forget trying to talk to someone at their front desk. They never answer the phone. I have currently been on hold at their customer service for 18 minutes. My daughter paid cash in May and of course front desk ladies didnt record the payment so now they are saying we are behind in payments.You charge an arm and a leg for these braces, put more front desk staff on so that they are able to answer the phones and also do the paperwork properly. Now I gotta deal with someone that I dont need to be if the work was done properly.

Western Dental has had a history of a bad rap. I was hesitant to return back but, when I went to this location in Claremont, I was very satisfied, amazed at the quality, treatment, and staff. My hygienist was wonderful, caring and knowledgeable. She was the best!

Called this morn 4/13 just to get price quote and was on hold for 10-15 mins. I hung up and called Chino office...well I had an answer within 1min no hold. That is great service...the front desk knew their products. It is no wonder the rating is so bad.I will say I have had work done there over a year ago and was very pleased. So Incredibly unprofessional, the service is horrible, the poor girls in the front office couldnt answer one question I had for them and they were general questions, like can you fax my sons records over to his orthodontist, all I got was a very long uhhhhhhhhh, not sure if i have their fax #. They should not be hiring people or have them be the face of the office without having some sort of training. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This place is unprofessional. First it takes hours to get attended. Second, If a dentist is in the middle of a procedure there is no reason for them to leave the room 5 times leaving the patient unattended in pain to go attend a genetic phone call. Not only was I left in the middle of everything, but in the end he just left the room and did not give me any gauze’s afterwards. He was gonna sent me home with bleeding wounds. Completely horrible experience and service and medical practice. I would not recommend this to my family and friends, nor anyone in general.

I used to love it here. Ive never had a problem. But these past month that Ive been here they have gotten really bad. The customer service is horrible, dirty place, long wait time. I made an appointment at 10am and waited until 1pm. I left this place and I will not come back. The girl with the fake nails and cakey face was really rude and would cut me off when I was talking. I dont understand how someone could hire a person with that kind of behavior.

Really didnt want to do this but maybe theyll finally learn some good customer service. Last year in April I had an appointment and forgot my medi-cal card ( my fault) so they told me to pay out of pocket and theyll reimburse me my money. Okay fast forward a few months and Ive called numerous times, went in person to talk to many people, Rosa, Sabrina, Letty(not their faults either) and even the manager once and Ive NEVER gotten a call back ONCE for my reimbursement. Im an ultrasound tech and I know how to give my patients call backs and great customer service. You guys are rated a 2 and still dont change your ways. Its very unprofessional and rude to not give your patients a simply call back to keep them updated. I definitely wont be taking my service back here ever again, nor my fathers. Already found another western dental. ✌All I wanted was someone to call me to keep me updated, you guys make it seem like you dont care . 😕

Although it can get quite busy at times, the employees at the front desk are always patient. The exam for braces was a piece of cake. Dr. KU is so kind and explains everything precisely.

Especially Vanessa Aguilera. she was the only one with my personal information and now I have the credit Bureau calling me letting me know theres fraudulent activity with my information coming from this office. I received the letter in the mail and posted the letter on there Yelp photos to prove it .

I was at the western dental in Claremont Dr Hana did my exam and explain dental treatment and Letty help me with the financial and explain all my options, and was polite and answered all my questions.

As someone have already stated, customer service is quite inefficient when you call in to make an appointment. I called today and waited, then someone answered, then I was put on hold and it went back to the original message as if I had just called. I called back and the same exact thing happened. I read through the reviews and decided to call for the number suggested to other complaining customers for a more private follow up of the matter, and they were no better, and worse even because no one picked up; I was on hold, period. Ridiculous and inefficient!!! I actually followed another customers advice to try Dr. Choi and called today, got through, it was a pleasant experience to make a simple appointment, and look forward to a more private setting and care for my family. Your lost Western Dental!

Everytime I take my kids in for a appointment it takes over 1 hour for the dentist to even start. Everytime its always sorry were short staffed. Tired of this place, Im going to go somewhere else. I dont recommend Western Dental to no one...

Had an appointment Thursday made a month ahead of time they called me Wednesday are you coming tomorrow at 4 just making sure i get there 30min before oh we are supper busy and backed up dr wont be able to see you come back in two weeks then why the heck did you make me come and waste time ??!??!?!? Should have told me the day before dont come instead of hey are you coming? learn how to make appointments were people dont have to wait forever or not get seen... And plus its not that clean of a place and it smells, they dont know how to schedule appointments, the dr doesnt even care everyone there lack enthusiasm like nobody cares this place is just not cool and they are all so unorganized fisrt time they moved me from xray room to xray room then back to the xray room because they didnt do it right the first time i should have known better and not gone again ugh im done with western dental!

So went to the place to get a basic cleaning hygienist took hour and a half to look at me and said that I needed a stage 2 cleaning but its not covered by my insurance. So instead of just giving me a basic cleaning now that she wants to do a stage 2 wont give me a basic so stupid and a big waste of time never coming here again

Have never had anything but a positive experience both orthodontic and hygienic. They included my son in his treatments and would often see him late or last minute. I love them and most important my son has a beautiful smile. Now if someone would answer the phone to make him an appt itd be fabulous! Please dont tell me u guys are going automated now. ..

We arrived at 9:00 am to fill papers for the first time, since the appointment was at 10 and we noticed a lot of people go in and we werent we waited 2 hours and got in till 10:44 to call us in . Also the Xray lady was very unprofessional her name was Angela she was very rude and made my 11 year old daughter cry. The system was also down and they had a leak where they were going to help my daughter very disorganized. We ended up leaving till 12:30. I recommend not coming here.

Fast food chain of dental care. But if you have a problem, you may find, as I did, that the office manager does not return your calls. There is really no upside to this place.

Was scared outta my mind during oral surgery but Dr. Drake reminded me to breathe and would speak softly that hes almost got the root out. Will, his helper, kept checking on me to make sure I was ok. Loved these guys! I usually hate going to the dentist but because of these two, I will definitely go back to Western Dental in Claremont! Plus, these guys were very good looking and they played good music. Theyre a very personable crew and Will was a Van Halen fan, like me, so I just had a great experience all around!

Stay Away!They are financing my braces for say 4K and 2K for a cleaning?!?From $75 per month to $210 a month with cleaning. I have been calling the emergency hotline all night, and the staff in charge of those calls could care less. I tore stitches in my mouth and wanted to know what I should do and if I could make an emergency appointment. The staff was too busy laughing, randomly putting you on hold, or replying sarcastically to help. When I call an emergency number, Id expect emergency service. My husband and I called it a night, and decided to call this morning. The same man answered and (ONCE AGAIN) we were hung up on. Were STILL sitting on hold. I dont want one of those generic corporate replies to this comment. If you want to help, do some research into your staff. After all, the Calls are recorded for quality assurance. Try checking at just past midnight, and HOURS of trying to get through afterwards. 01/01/16*NOTE: The front desk staff and Dentists/Dental Techs are very nice. My issue is regarding the emergency hotline.

The staff seems to barely know what theyre doing, very unprofessional. I get here at 9 am and there was only one person ahead, yet it still took 30 minutes for me to go in and another full hour to get done... With a regular checkup.

The unprofessional girl @the front desk who was playing on fb,forgot to give me back my ID and insurance card, so on my way home I didnt have my Drivers license on me so the cop that pulled me over impounded my car. For not having my drivers license.

The front office is professional and friendly, I like most of their staff, my only complaint is the pediatric specialist that cancels on me week after week. Its infuriating, she either has last minute plans or is too busy to see my son after they kept us waiting 40mins+. Not going back to that specialist.
