My son a great experience here. They did a wonderful job. He was nervous. They explained everything they were doing in a way he understood. Everyone was very kind and encouraging. His favorite part was wearing some cool sunglasses. Thank you so much I would recommend to others.

Hands down the best children’s dentist I have ever been too, my son had a good experience and actually enjoys going. After his super important apt the Dentist gave my son a small bog of rocks to distract him from the apt. It’s family welcoming, fast, and easy to work with. Texting is also a plus

What a terrific experience! My two small children had new patient appointments at the same time, and I was able to be with them both thanks to the exam area layout. The hygienists were thorough yet gentle, provided lots of education, and were fast at their work. So impressed! And bonus: eco-friendly toothbrushes and toothpaste provided to take home.

After searching for an adequate pediatric dentist that accepted our insurance for literally a year, I stumbled upon Montshire. I can not express right place right time enough. Beyond BLESSED to have found them. I have never in my entire life felt better about a dentist. Dr.Boswell is AMAZING with kids, he clicked with my 5 yr old so well! The practice tries to be as non invasive as possible while verbally walking us through every step of the the appointment. They use a more holistic method and approach which I thought was the best!! There was even a TV on the ceiling for my little guy to pay attention to, rather than his teeth being worked on. We will be referring all of our friends! Dont wait to make an appointment!!

Dr. Colin is absolutely amazing with my daughter and answers all our questions. He takes time but also reminds her how important taking care of her teeth is. She is smiling when she leaves.

We are so grateful we found Dr. Boswell! We found them in seeking a second opinion and upon greeting my son (with a fist bump) we knew we found someone that truly loves helping children with their dental needs! He puts the child and their health first! Our son has SPD, so anything sensory related is always difficult, but he really likes Dr Boswell and went home and told his little brother how much he likes their new dentist and he can’t wait to bring him! He included me in the treatment plan, took time show me and explain to me the different options we had. His fun personality puts kids at ease ! We highly recommend him and can’t say enough good!

I took my child to montshire pediatrics for a second opinion after another dentist recommended intubation/sedation w ketamine to deal w a cavity, all of which would require five different office visits….that seemed excessive so I looked asked around for someone a little less invasive. I’m so glad I did! We were in and out in 20 minutes, no sedation, no drilling, no shots, just a hall crown and we were on our way. Dr Colin is wonderful, understands kids. The staff is also wonderful. They got us an appointment quickly, confirmed coverage w insurance, and even got us in when we were running late on the day of the appt. Highly recommended and worth the trip to Claremont.

Nicholas has been going to the dentist since he was little. Nicholas is truly unique that he is 27 years old but only 63 pounds and is 4’4 in height. He is undiagnosed but we do know he has epilepsy and severe failure to thrive. Montshire has been amazing! They make Nick’s visit comfortable in every way. They play his favorite music (Jack Johnson) just to reassure him he is in a safe place. Everyone is kind from the front office to Michelle and her assistant. Nick now LOVES going to the dentist because of the way they make him feel. Hands down the best experience ever! You are missing a gem if you don’t have them as part of your child’s health care!

Best dental experience ever! All the little things matter in this office. Everything from taking the time to make an anxious child comfortable to valuing my time seeing us right when scheduled to handing out bamboo toothbrushes and natural toothpaste. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Boswell clearly enjoys what he does and really cares about his community offering dental care for all. My daughter walked in crying and as we drove away asked if we can go to the dentist tomorrow. Thank you for making our experience so positive.

My daughter is petrified of the dentist for what reason I don’t know, but we had been to another Dentist and instead of working with her to make her comfortable they automatically said she needed surgery. We went for 1 appointment at Montshire Pediatric Dentistry for a second opinion and they were able to do more work and care for her then the other place even thought about. Sad that it took my daughter almost having surgery for what we found as not necessary before I found this place. Great, friendly, informative, and best of all gentle with our little ones.

My eight year old had a super positive experience! He went for an extraction which can sometimes be scary, but he can’t stop raving about how awesome this place was!!! He said “they put ME in charge, Mom! I could stop them if anything hurt anytime. And I got to watch a movie! They put a cool nose cap on me too!” I would say as a parent and previous dental professional, my biggest concern in searching for a new dentist was finding one who isn’t going to traumatize my child. I have heard and seen horror stories first hand. Well, happy to report, these people were rock stars in my sons eyes...and in turn, get a rave review from me! Pediatric Dentistry is not for the faint of heart and is an art form for sure...these are the people you have been looking for!!! Nice work...and can’t thank you enough!

This was a first ever dentist visit for my 18 month old. The dentist was very friendly, and took the time to talk and answer questions. The receptionists were equally friendly and welcoming. My little one was not afraid or intimidated like I was worried about. There were no tears shed, and it was a very positive first experience. I might even say she had fun. So glad we found them. The eco friendly toothbrush, and strawberry toothpaste was a great bonus.

Dr. Colin and his staff are the most wonderful individuals that you could possibly ask for in caring for your children’s teeth and oral health. Kind, compassionate and caring beyond measure. Dr. Colin utilizes a low intervention approach, and truly respects his clients wishes, desires and varying needs. He talked to my children like human beings in a respectful and engaging manner. They felt comfortable and it is a low stress experience every time. Today, my son said, “that was way better than our last dentist.” It was because Dr. Colin listened to his needs and his need for breaks in getting a cavity filled. He takes the time to answer questions, walk through each process and ensure that you are comfortable. I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone looking for a top of the line, least intervention practice. The office staff are just as friendly and walk through copays and deductibles prior to service. You will not be disappointed!

Im not sure what I can say to make people read this and know that it comes from my heart and is honestly how me and my family feel.So I come from an Era where the dentist would push you into the chair grab the drill and start drilling without concern for whether the novacaine is was working or not. So my opinion of every dentist since then has been one of fear and apprehension. Bear in mind im 50 something and have seen alot of dentists in my day.So when I took my son and daughter to get checked out I cared all that with me. So immediately after walking thru the door I felt a sense of calmness that I have never felt before at any dentist! We were greeted by the Dr himself with a greT big welcoming feel... So after a few minutes I knew this was worth the drive of 40 miles or so.On to my daughter age 6 who jumped in to the chair with a sense of willingnessIk have rarely seen. I.iwill finish later S my kids need me.

We just had our first appt. at Montshire Pediatric Dentistry (Claremont) for my son, who needed a tooth pulled. Before we arrived, he was very nervous. It didnt take long for him to feel totally comfortable once we were in the office. I absolutely love the way these folks communicate with children to make them feel so comfortable and at home. My son and I really loved this dentist and the way the whole appointment went. I will be taking all of my children here, from now on! Very professional, talented and friendly people.

Montshire Pediatric Dentistry is wonderful! They have been available for immediate dental needs as well and cleaning and repairs. They are kind, patient and gentle with all four of my kids ranging in age from 3 to 11. My kids love going to the dentist and that says a lot!

OMG I dont even know where to begin? This dentist office is the best! They really know how to work with children. They made my son feel right at home while he had a pretty major procedure done. He just watched ninjago on the ceiling mounted TV. Great people all around. I couldnt think of any way it could be better.

This place was amazing. The hygienists were super informative as well as the doctor. I love there less invasive approach when my kid only had tiny cavities. They educated me as a parent on how I can better teach my kids to take care of their oral health. I loved how the Dentist informed me about what he is doing and answers my questions. Very good bedside manner and PR. All around this place is awesome. My kids were also super exited to get new bamboo biodegradable toothbrushes and a new book from their office. Great place and staff!!!

When I called to make my childrens first appointment the receptionist was completely worming and welcoming! They set a great first impression. They got me in the next day for back-to-back appointments for two of children. 1 is 10 and the other is three.my three-year-old had been to the dentist once and completely shut down wouldnt even open his mouth! They were so welcoming and wonderful they got him sunglasses and made him feel great he ended up getting everything done that he needed to get done and even got prices at the end I 💯 hundred percent recommend them!

Ive been searching for the perfect dentist to take my kids to since I had a bad childhood experience myself. This office is absolutely wonderful and exceeded my expectations. Even with the covid craziness going on, every staff member was so patient and friendly. Both of my girls felt completely comfortable and at ease during the entire visit. I have been neglecting my kids dental needs because of my own fears and was terrified of being judged for it. The staff was so understanding and only looking to help my kiddos and myself. I cant express the amount of graditude I have for this dentistry.. My niece was petrified of going to the dentist after her prior experience in Keene where they strapped her to a table ands scared her to death... Dr.Spencer was so sweet with her and helped her to ease her anxiety. He explained what he was doing and really made her feel like he understood her anxiety... We took our 3 kids here just yesterday for the first time and had an absolutely wonderful experience. All the staff was welcoming and very friendly. The office had a wonderful atmosphere that really put our kids at ease. I would recommend this office to anyone with kids.

Cant say enough great things about this place and the people! Were about 35 minutes away, and have several places that would be closer. But after one visit, its clear theyre worth the drive!My 15 month old needed a chipped tooth smoothed and examined. I called some places near us where I know and respect the physicians, but all immediately denied us due to medicaid (most dentists will only take a small percentage of medicaid patients due to a lower reimbursement rate from state funded insurance). Montshire Pediatric Dentistry IS different. They were fully welcoming and even got us in the very same day! Everyone was so warm and respectful, starting with the person on the phone (which really sets the tone for everything else!). After we checked in Dr. Colin came out and introduced himself to me and my son before we were even brought back. They explained everything to us and even used a very gentle and supportive holding technique that included me holding my son so that he was comfortable and relaxed. I had a well-meaning friend tell me theyll probably just stick a bite-block in and file it real fast! After that I was pretty anxious imagining my little guys still very soft and gummy mouth being pried open with a device while he screamed. Well, no prying and no devices were used, other than a simple file tool and fingers gently holding his mouth. Best of all, he hardly even fussed!The last piece that I was impressed by was the staffs up-to-date knowledge on breastfeeding and oral health. After hearing from friends about first dental visits, I was ready to be shamed for the night nursing and be told about the associated risks of tooth decay. But not here, just great information on the importance of nightly brushing and reducing food particles in the mouth before bed time.You can expect nothing less than respectful, skilled and enthusiastic care here.

Awesome practice with an old school family practitioner feel. We have gone to several other dentists and had a new dentist every time. It makes our kids happy just talking about going to see Dr Boswell.

My son has been a patient here for a couple of years and recently went in for a chipped, front tooth. We have experienced consistent, high-quality care every visit. My daughter has a few oral health issues going on that was causing her a lot of pain. A friend referred me to them and they got us in the same day they called me back, and procedural visits soon after that. When we got there, they were so good with her. For an 8 year old, it can be really scary. But they were so soothing and had a wonderful way of describing the procedures and what they were doing for her. She actually looks forward to her next visit and so do I. 😊 This is a truly wonderful dental office for children.

My 1st experience Montshire Pediatric Dentistry was when my 9 year old grandson had a cavity and our regular dentist couldnt get him in for 3 months. He was in pain and having difficulty sleeping from it. I called Montshire to see if they had any earlier appointments. He was seen the very next day! That alone impressed me! Now my boy has had some not so good experiences and is (was) very scared of going to the dentist. When we got there he was greeted like an old friend and immediately put at ease. It was decided that since the tooth in question was a baby tooth and would soon fall out the best course of action would be to remove it. After a week of antibiotics we went back. The staff talked him through everything and made sure he understood that he was in charge. They asked him repeatedly how he was doing and he replied with a thumbs up letting them know he was good. He hardly realized when he got a shot of novocaine... Dr Colin talked him through it in a way that distracted him from the process. Again I am impressed! It was all about my grandsons comfort and nothing else. When the procedure was over he high fived Dr Colin and we were on our way. On the ride home I asked him if would go back there again and he smiled and nodded his head in agreement. Needless to say we have a new dentist! Thank you all so much!

We have been with the Spence Dental family for three years now and don’t think 5 stars is nearly enough. They are gentle, thorough and help our children feel at ease with whatever work they need. They were so good with the kids and the office is very accommodating for children. I had three kids in there at once and they were speedy and efficient and made it enticing for the kids to sit still (had TV on, gave them cool glasses to wear, had prizes for doing a good job, etc). My ONLY suggestion for improvement would be to email the forms ahead of time to parents. I had to fill out 9-10 pages of paperwork while trying to pay attention to the needs of my 2 toddlers and baby. I would have been happy to fill out at home, but doing it in the office took at least a half hour or more because they were very long.

I cant say enough nice things about this practice. My son has severe anxiety and they were kind, considerate and walked him through every step. Thank you for taking the time with my kiddo and showing him respect through the entire procedure!

I cant count the number of times they told my four year old she did a good job during her examination. Convient location and friendly and courteous staff who always make my daughter feel comfortable.We used to travel further to another dentist and it was always a struggle to get her to cooperate. After switching to Spence Dental our dentist issues disappeared thanks to an incredible dentist and hygienist.Right before a vacation we had a dental emergency after they had closed and the staff responded quickly and were able to resolve the issue before we had to leave.

Everyone was smiling and very polite. This was our first visit and the doctor was great!

My son and I had a bad experience with the norwhich pediatric dentistry. He was tramatized needless to say. Montshire pediatric dentistry was so understanding, treating me and my son both with the upmost respect. My son was petrified. Lost it in the room, the nurse was so patient and kind. She tried joking with him, showing him all the cool sunglasses, told him about getting a prize from the front counter. She did everything she could to help the situation! & Then when I suggested to give me some time to try to pursuade him into the dentist chair, she gave me that time and walked out of the room. & Low and behold, once she was back he was sitting in that chair and let her & the dentist look at his teeth! They couldnt have done anything better than they did. So patient and kind to us both, and believe me, my son surprised me! He was being unreal, but had many reasons for the way he acted. But because of their patience, I do believe he will no longer be afraid to go see them! I myself have terrible anxiety and was very worried. They made me feel so much better. Im excited to see my sons reaction at our next visit! 😁 Ty guys so much! My son and I have been though alot of tramatizing things this past few weeks, and you lifted our spirits today! Finally, something positive! Thanks again, so much!
