This place is wonderful! I have been off and on working out at home and never really wanting to workout in public. I have tried a ton of different gyms - the standard ones like LA Fitness, the more specialized ones like 9 round and pure barre or cycle bar etc, and this is the one place I fell in love with. The 6 week challenge was a great motivator to create a habit, but the gym itself is the real gem. The first day I walked in, I noticed people from all different walks of life of many different ages and backgrounds all interacting and encouraging one another. There is a strong sense of community here and a non judgmental, non threatening atmosphere. People are supportive and kind. The workouts are challenging for ALL levels and people are not overly competitive but instead all working towards a goal of staying fit and healthy. I love this place. I am moving soon and super sad to be leaving it. You should definitely try it out! You will be hooked if you give it a try!

I participated in the 6-week Fitness Challenge through Transform U. It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone!! Several years ago, I worked out daily and ate fairly healthy. Due to the stress of work,grad school, and less free time for exercise, I gained about 50 pounds over about 2 years. This challenge has helped me start a new fitness routine and nutrition plan. Jen, the fitness trainer, is AWESOME!! She is very motivating and will push you to your limit. The best part of the challenge (other than losing 20 pounds) was the encouragement felt by everyone at the gym. There is a wide range of fitness levels but everyone is motivating and makes sure you do your best. In my opinion, the meal prep was the hardest part of the challenge. Its easy showing up to the workout and doing what you are told. The meal prep takes time but its EXTREMELY important! The meal plan is restrictive but definitely doable; I was never hungry during the challenge. Overall, I really enjoyed the challenge and would do it again.

This gym is amazing! I went for the first time for a Bring your friend day to one of the Sweat Fit Workouts. It kicked my butt in the best way. It made me realize how much I needed to build my strength and slim down to improve my health and well-being. I decided to join their next Six Week Challenge and couldnt be happier. Even though they require some skin in the game, it is well worth it. I have seen a huge difference in my body getting stronger and dropping pants sizes. The nutrition plan they recommended had some great suggestions to forming healthy habits. I have cut out a lot of junk and replaced it with filling foods that are actually good for you. The trainers really care and are there to push you and encourage you. Overall, I recommend this gym to anyone.

Great gym. Focused on strength training with very personalized service and individual attention. Great community environment and friendly, encouraging atmosphere. Anyone with any fitness level would feel comfortable working out here. Staff is great and facilities are very updated. Would recommend to anyone looking to find a gym to call home!

I did the 6 week challenge at Transform U fitness and absolutely loved it! I was 6 weeks post having a baby and it was just what I needed to get back in gear. The meal plan they provided was very reasonable and pretty easy to follow. And the best parts were the workouts, I loved them, great sweat and burn. I highly recommend if you need help getting healthier and fit. 😊

Transform U Fitness is top notch! I am excited every time I head in for my next workout. The semi-private personal training sessions are perfect; different each time, keeping them exciting and fresh. Even while taking on multiple clients, the trainers make you feel like you are the only one there. I love the attention to detail they show; they can tell just by watching you if any of your body parts are acting up (for me its my hips, and Mike always keeps a watchful eye to make sure Im not in pain) The staff is AWESOME; very professional, patient, fun, knowledgeable, and empowering. They are all about helping you reach and exceed your potential. To top off an already awesome experience, the facilities and equipment themselves are clean, organized, and new. You truly feel like your experience matters every time you walk in the door, and I absolutely have and will continue to recommend to everyone I know.

I was referred to Mike by another happy client of his – and it is, by far, the best recommendation I have received! I had never done any type of personal training before, and I was very self conscious about my performance level. By the end of the workout, I was completely comfortable. I am finishing up a 6 week challenge. So happy I took a chance on this gym and Mike Seta. Trainers know their stuff and were able to help me modify some of the exercises to help me be successful. This was just the jump start I needed. The locker room and showers are clean and nice. All of the women in the challenge are very supportive and helpful too. I began training with Mike to prepare for my upcoming wedding. In about 5 weeks I not only lost weight but also dropped about 4% body fat. Working with Mike has been awesome! He showed me how to make the most of my workouts. We worked out about 2-3 times a week but he also gave me workout plans for the days I would be on my own. I received so many compliments on my wedding day and the weeks leading up, especially on my arms. I feel awesome!

Mike is an excellent motivator and fun to train with! He pushed me to work much harder than I would on my own and also managed to make it fun! He constantly changes up the workouts to keep it interesting. I found it especially helpful that he provided me with workouts to do on my own and nutrition plans.Bottom line, Mike is the best! This program was exactly what I was looking for! The trainer, Jen, is awesome! Very encouraging especially on those tough full body days! It truly feels like no one is left behind! The program is not easy, but if you are dedicated to truly making a transformation of your body and mind, then Mike and Jen will be dedicated to helping you achieve the goal! If you are lucky to get into the 6-week challenge I say go for it! What do you have to lose? I have no regrets and plan on continuing with the program.

This gym has everything that I was looking for. Boot camps, personal training, kickboxing, and a medical and sport massage therapist!The gym set up is very motivating. It displays before and after picture of their clientele. Mike is awesome! He works with you to help you achieve your goal. He devised me a meal plan and had workouts specific towards me and my goals. You will get the results you want with this gym !!!

The six week challenge at Transform U is one of the best decisions Ive made in quite a long time. The trainers at Transform U are some of the most encouraging and dedicated trainers you will get but the challenge is more than just going to a gym and working out. The challenge is about sticking to a very strategic food list and meal plan. The challenge is about making the promise to yourself that youre ready to make a real change. The challenge is tough but your decisions and choices decide how significant your results will be. I decided that I needed to make a real change and this program helped me to lose 31 pounds in 6 weeks. The support from the trainers and from the other members in your classes is something that you will not get from going to a gym by yourself, it is an essential element in helping to stay focused and motivated with your new lifestyle. I still have a long journey to get to the weight that Id like to be but the six week challenge has definitely helped to get my journey started. I highly recommend Transform U!

Seta Personal Training is awesome! I highly recommend it. I have been training with Mike for about a year now, and I not only feel very good and in shape, but Im also not bored with the workouts. The best thing about the training is that it isnt 30 minutes and done. Mike is really good about giving you specific workouts to target different areas of your body, and continues to refresh them as your body gets used to them. The biggest struggle I had with a previous trainer was that although the training sessions were good, I struggled to keep it up on my own. Mike also had great software to help keep your diet in line, and is very helpful. Plus, training is really fun, challenging, and different every time. If you want to get in shape for the summer, or just to maintain and tone, the workouts are great.

I have been working out with Mike and Patrick for the past 3 months and havent felt this good in years! Now, 30 lbs and inches smaller there is no more reaching to the back of the racks because I can proudly say Im in a medium! Their workouts are all personalized and fun so the time goes by fast. I’ve thought long and hard about this review for many days. The main thought that comes to mind is how much I love Transform U Fitness. In the beginning, I was floored by the concept of the “Six-Week Challenge.” The team of trainers, Mike, Jen, and Kelsey, are truly dedicated to the well-being of their clients. I have never felt like just another member of the gym. Every day during my challenge, I was welcomed with open arms and pushed to my limits! I have always enjoyed being active and working out and Transform U Fitness has made my physical journey even more gratifying. Looking for help transforming into a healthy better version of you this is the place to do it! Mike and the other trainers do a phenomenal job of challenging, motivating and encouraging you every step of the way. If any of the trainers saw you doing anything wrong they had no problem getting down in the workout with you and showing you the proper technique, this was a huge difference and welcomed difference compared to other places Ive gone to I used to struggle to do basic push-ups now I can do them easier and more frequently. Also the meal plan and supplement instruction provided by the staff was second to none. Since Ive started working out at Transform U Ive felt better both physically and mentally and cant wait to continue this fitness journey because this is only just the beginning! The six week challenge at Transform you fitness was an amazing experience. Over the last few years me and my girlfriend have both tried to lose weight to no avail. We would both try something see no result and give up. Between the work out and the meal plan provided for you this truly works. The work outs never got old they were constantly  changing them up and showing you new ways to work out your entire body. I can honestly say that every trainer at the gym were super knowledgeable  and very friendly. Mike seta has a great thing going. 22 pounds lighter but more importantly this challenge provided a much needed life change. Before the challenge I reached a heavier weight than ever before. I’d lost my workout routine and stopped caring about what I was eating. In short, I felt horrible. The challenge gave me “me” back. I remember how much I enjoy a workout that kicks my butt and how much better I feel when I eat a healthy diet. I spent 5 years trying different avenues to achieve this without success until I found Transform U. Did a 6-week training course that I just finished and was pleasantly surprised at how effective it was. Each of the trainers has a different approach that ends up getting you a really well-rounded level of fitness and ability.Facilities had everything I needed and really enjoyed interacting with the staff, who do a really great job of getting you motivated and working. I went to Transform U for a little more than 6 months and joined via their 3 week jump start program. I loved it at first as everyone was friendly, introduced themselves, and checked in frequently. Once I signed my 6 month membership feeling very confident that Id see a change the checking in dropped immensely. They claim they do a weekly phone call or Skype check-in to make sure you stay on progress. I can honestly say the only check-in I have gotten was more than 4 months ago and that was in person when the trainer asked how are things in the middle of my workout. Aside from that, the food plan was nothing more than a printout of a (really expensive I might add) week meal plan of grocery list and recipes. I felt there was a lack in teaching as having a healthy diet was my hardest battle, as I explained to them from the beginning. Plus, you can only go when someone is there which can be limiting based on your schedule. It was also difficult to continue to acclimate to the frequent changes--regularly scheduled class times being cancelled, trainers that came and went, motivational programs that didnt quite deliver. I hate to say that I was very disappointed in my decision to stay at the gym more than the first 3 weeks. The workouts were initially exciting and I felt like I was going somewhere, but once I realized the support wasnt really there and they left it up to me to keep myself accountable, the $$$/2 weeks wasnt really worth it. To me, a place that offers personal training is not just someone that makes a workout and puts you through the motions, but someone who also takes the time to check in outside of the gym because thats the hardest part, when no one is watching.

Although I lost 21 pounds on the “20 in 42” challenge, what I gained was my biggest success. Six weeks ago, I was overweight, had low energy and hopeless. Over the last 3 years I had gained 40 to 50 pounds, and was struggling to lose any weight. Most of that weight I gained during the summer months of 2015 due to an illness, and I was beating myself up for it. I knew I had to do something and get my butt into gear and that’s just what the challenge did for me. Not only did I to enjoy the fit camps, I made some awesome friends who supported me every step of the way. The trainers were our biggest cheerleaders and pushed us to limits many of us never thought we could reach. I still hate burpees, but I now can do them a lot better than before. What this challenge did for me, was provide accountability and prove to myself as well as others that if you set your mind to it you can accomplish anything. Transformation is exactly what Transform U does. I have rekindled my passion for fitness, and I am going to keep on working till I reach my ultimate goal and beyond. Ive had several personal trainers at Urban Active but Mike was recommended by a friend and I would recommend him to anyone! Hes challenging but positive and funny so you feel motivated and never discouraged. He provides workouts outside of your appointments so you can maintain momentum and learn to work out better on your own. He pushes you to improve but also respects your personal goals. Ive lost 2 jeans sizes and love working out more than I ever have before!

I have been training with Mike (Seta) for (9) months and I can see a real difference in my body and how my clothes fit. I am getting stronger and I feel more confident in my abilities with each training session. Training with Seta has allowed me to want to continue to get stronger physically and improve my diet. It started with a 6 week challenge and now 11 weeks later Im not only down 15lbs and a pant size, Ive also developed a new lifestyle that I actually enjoy and can MAINTAIN! I did the 6 week challenge and I learned so much. Ive belonged to other gyms in the past but never knew how to properly and effectively exercise and utilize the gym. I would use the elliptical or treadmill but that was really it. Now I know how to exercise right in my own home. The personal trainers had me doing things that I was not sure I could do until I did it. I am very happy with my experience.

Theres a lot to learn when it comes to understanding health and fitness! The people at transformU Fitness know what it takes to help someone understand all the information and put in all the hard work that goes with it. I enjoyed doing the work starting early in the morning with everyone and continuing everything throughout the day because of everyone involved in helping me do so. This journey is something I have always wanted to take and attempted many times but now I have started and know I will not stop because of all the great people I have met at this place. Some days I will go twice because I do not want to wait until the next day to go back! I just completed a six week challenge at Transform U Fitness. I am happy to report that I reached my goal weight for the six weeks. What I thought would be solely a physical challenge to my body, I underestimated how the experience would impact my mind. Every day I made a conscious decision to stick to my meal plan and move my body. Thankfully I thrive on routine and found my groove just after a week. About a third of the way through the challenge, the mental aspect kicked in. I truly do not think I could have persevered without the support of the trainers and my cohort. While the challenge was based on weight loss, I began to appreciate the other changes that I was experiencing. I lost inches, felt stronger, had more energy, and most importantly, I was proud of myself. Having the close support of the trainers made me feel more accountable for my choices. I shared my successes, mistakes (Mio Energy at 8pm…whoops), and pride with the trainers. Now that the challenge is complete, I am choosing to continue my journey with the support of Transform U Fitness. I am absolutely grateful for the experience the trainers provide and would definitely recommend this facility.

I lost 29 lbs and inches of body fat during the 6 week challenge. This was much more than just a workout program, I also learned about the nutritional side to getting fit! The trainers pushed you to go beyond your comfort level. The workouts were never the same, so there was definitely not any boredom with the routines. I would recommend this program.

I recently completed my 6 week challenge with Transform U. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with this gym. They were helpful and able to accommodate everyone’s needs. The 6 week challenge included a meal plan and fitness classes. The meal plan was extremely helpful and educational. It was a reboot to the system, so your body would relearn how to process foods properly. The fitness classes were tough, but so much fun! It was never the same class and everyone was so supportive. I started the classes not being able to do much of anything, but by the end I was stronger and healthier than ever before! During my 6 weeks I lost over 20 lbs. I now have the tools and knowledge to keep living a fuller and healthier life. Thank you Transform U!

I am so happy I did the 6 week challenge! It was definitely stressful and exhausting but SO worth it. The trainers at Transform U Fitness are beyond amazing! Theyre all so personable and helpful. I personally worked with Mike, Maleena and Patrick and they were all great. The fitness class times are also spread throughout the day so being able to make it to at least one class per day is very easy even with my busy schedule. The classes are also very challenging. The trainers can also adjust the workouts to suit you (whether that be a less intense modified version OR suggesting you increase your intensity). Just the environment of the gym alone makes you feel like people there genuinely care about your progress. Overall, I DEFINITELY recommend this gym to everyone I know!

Just finished the 6 week challenge, saved my life, so much i didnt understand about my body. Cleanest gym i have ever worked out in, most knowledgeable trainers. Very Positive, very involved, helped me with exercises since I have a bad left knee. I lost 34 pounds of fat and gained 16 pounds of lean muscle in 6 weeks. Mike is a great trainer!! I came to him about a year ago. I was unhappy with how I let myself go while I went to college and hair school. Now I can say Im happy again, still have a long road ahead of me but I’m on my way! Mike always has a positive attitude and makes my day better by working out, even though I’m sore the next day. Workouts are always new and never boring. I enjoying learning new exercises and seeing how my body has changed while working out with him. He is always available with answers to my stupid question regarding workouts and diet plans. Mike has worked with me over the past year to get a diet plan that work with my lifestyle. I have been working out with Mike for two and half years and I cannot say how much Mike and the gym has changed my life. For years I always wanted to lose weight and would try fade diets and they always failed and I would end up discouraged more than ever. Two and half years ago I stepped on the scale and I was heavier than I had ever been and my clothes were no longer fitting. I started going to Mike and my whole out look on losing weight changed. I do not consider what I do as dieting, I consider it a lifestyle. I can say without a doubt I would have never lost 30 pounds and been able to keep it off without Mike and his gym. He is a great trainer and motivates me to no end. Additionally, he is always there to help me when I need help with nutrition or exercise. He prices fairly and I cannot imagine a future where Mike and Transform U Fitness is not in my life.

I was looking for a gym that offered boot camp style group classes. My previous gym had cancelled several classes leaving me to figure things out on my own. I need to work out with people. Transform U perfectly filled my needs. The class offerings are plentiful and not to mention challenging. Each class offers different exercises keeping the workouts new and exciting. Jen is a motivating trainer and encourages the group to work as a team. Even though I was not successfull losing 20 pounds during the 6 week challenge, I am so pleased with routine Ive established Im sticking around. First off, I loved my main trainers - Jen and Kelsey. Both were incredibly motivating and knowledgeable about their craft. Jessica and I worked out here for 4+ months and enjoyed our time with the two of them. Unfortunately, there is significant room for improvement on the business side of the equation. Mike Seta leases the space and runs the program. As is common with new business owners, he has trouble focusing and is far too scatterbrained with his efforts. His scheduling was unreliable and the billing was inaccurate.After 4+ months of working out at 7am several times per week, Mike cancelled all the 7am classes without notice. He also over-billed us on a weekly basis and dismissed my billing concerns. We had agreed to a monthly price and Mike decided to charge us weekly, but instead of actually doing the math - he simply divided the monthly price by 4 and charged that amount every week. That would be fine if every month was February and had 4 weeks, but thats not the case. He didnt seem to care when we tried to explain this to him. Ultimately, we decided to cancel our membership in an effort to find a more reliable training solution. Well miss Jen and Kelsey and wish them the best. Hopefully Mike recognizes that he has room to improve as a business owner and makes the right changes before its too late.I would strongly recommend working out with Jen and Kelsey, but I would caution you to not commit to a long term contract without contractual stipulations that protect your interests in the event that Mike cannot honor his commitments.

I tried to call them several times in the past couple of weeks, no one answers. Left them voicemail, no call back. I went to the gym and asked about the programs they have, I was asked to provide my details on the sheet in the front desk and someone would reach out to me, I provided the details and it has been 2 weeks and yet no one called. This place should put in more effort if they are really interested in new customers. Its almost as if they dont want new customers to join the gym.

A friend got me to join the Transform You Fitness challenge. Mike and the other trainers were awesome! My weight at the beginning of the challenge was 213lbs. The workouts and the diets he showed us changed my life. The challenge filled me with energy and motivation. Love how I feel and how my clothes fit, I would tell anyone if they can make the commitment, its absolutely worth it! My final weight was 188lbs, I lost 25 pounds, thanks Mike!

I began Transform U Fitness as part of a New Year Resolution, like previous years Ill start off at the gym and within 2 or 3 weeks Ill be back to my old ways. This year I decided to do something different. I was tired of doing the same things and expecting different results. I had to get away from the insanity frame. So when I joined Transform U Fitness I was immediately taken back the passion and knowledge of the trainers. I love the environment witch is very motivational and uplifting. Jen was a wonderful trainer and comical at the same time with all her coined sayings. LOL. Mike was great also helped me with my meal plans and very knowledgeable about nutrition. Last but not least what helped me to keep coming back was people who over time became close and held each other accountable. Im glad to say I lost 20 lbs in 6 weeks.

I have wanted to lose weight for a couple years. I needed something that pushed me and made me change my ways. Mike’s Challenge did just that. Not only does he have amazing workouts, there is also a food plan to follow. I lost 23 pounds in 6 weeks all because of Mike. His positive energy and push motivated me to keep focused and loose the weight. I still have 20 lbs. more to go, but I know I can get there with Mike helping me out. I had two good friends training with Mike and went with one of them one day during a bring a friend week just thinking I was going to workout...but I ended up really liking my time training with Mike and started going weekly. Every training session with Mike is something different. I have learned so much while gaining strength and muscle tone. Mike is a great trainer. I have gone to many fitness centers and gyms in my life and this one is so different in the best way possible! I feel like I am known here… Not just the fact that people know my name and ask me how I am each time I am here, but they also make an effort to know my goals and give me practical advice on an ongoing basis to help me achieve them! I first heard of TransformU from a few different facebook friends that had been checking in here and there. Soon after, I saw an ad that they were having a free 6 week transformation challenge. I had been wanting to get into working out for awhile and definitely knew that it needed to happen but that was easier said than done. I had a lot of back and forth with myself before finally singing up for it and I couldn’t have been happier with my decision. I didn’t know anyone when I went in for my orientation. I introduced myself to a few ladies who I have since become so close with! We all ended up in the 530am class and as early as it was, we all had so much energy and motivation! We became a little family all working towards the same goal. They give a meal plan out and as long as you actually stick to it, you will definitely see results! I have since cut back almost all junk food from my life (besides some pizza or some French fries here and there ;)) but it is all about balance! The trainers all really care about your journey and provide modifications for all levels of clients. A few different times I would have some back pain and they would recommend different stretches to help soothe out that pain! Overall, I recommend this gym!

I like this place. Its cozy and I get my best life on here. Only thing I wish was better was the music. I need a little more trap/club music to be more effective in my workout. Walked in and they wanted my info, well I wouldnt sign anything because I couldnt trust a company that makes their clients check in and give dishonest reviews so they look like a good gym. They are not but you can go see for yourself! The guy running the place is a narcissist. Just ask him to clarify something and watch how he responds! I joined Transform U during a six week challenge. I was apprehensive about starting at first, because it seemed too good to be true. The trainers check to make sure you are challenging yourself and offer modifications when you need to work on your form or strength in specific muscle groups. I would highly recommend coming here no matter where you are in your fitness journey. I started knowing very little about HIIT and weight training and now feel confident about how to properly do bodyweight exercises and use the gym equipment.The staff and patrons of the gym are supportive and positive which helps keep me motivated. In addition to everything written above, my booty is starting to shape up nicely.

I was sitting on my couch one day, just miserable. I had attempted tons of times before to do it on my own: running, lifting, eating right. But I just couldnt do it. I googled personal training in my area, and Mikes website and picture was the first link on the list. I ignored every thought in my head telling me it wouldnt make a difference and called him. Working with Mike has been awesome, I have learned so much and he keeps me motivated every time I see him. I feel great and continue towards my goal everyday. Last year I was about to wave the white flag and surrender to what I was convinced was an irreversible aging process that was going to include gaining 10# every year. I have long been one to exercise, jog and eat healthy but despite all that, the weight gain began and I seemed to have no control over it. Flash forward to my signing up with Mike Seta and then increasing my work-out sessions to twice a week and I have now lost almost 20# and feel so much healthier. Still have a ways to go but I no longer feel that it is hopeless. Mike is easy to work with, encouraging without being one of those screaming trainers you see on TV. The 6-week challenge was absolutely a challenge, but it was a great chance to reset myself on healthy habits. Doing fitcamps five times a week and following the restricted diet led me to feel better overall. I noticed increased energy levels early in the challenge, and that continued throughout the challenge. The challenge provided a chance to get back into a regular exercise routine, which has continued after the challenge.Transform U provides a positive atmosphere, and the motivation among the trainer and participants in the fitcamp classes is second to none (that I’ve experienced). Ive never worked with a personal trainer before, and was very hesitant to commit to a 6 week program with something so outside my comfort zone. After the first week of training with Mike, I immediately knew I had found something different. He truly cares about each of his clients, something that sets him apart from most trainers, and will adjust each workout to fit your needs. He pushed me to my fullest potential while still managing to make me laugh along the way! Ive never had the same workout twice, and love the variety between his exercises. My personal experience with Transforming U has been GREAT!!!! I needed motivation to lose weight, and I came across their challenge. It was exactly what I needed. Mike always offered tips and encouragements. Then theres Jennifer Simpson. She is the best trainer that I have ever worked with. I loved her group fitness sessions.When I first signed up, I was just doing the meal plan and doing a little bit of exercising, because I didnt want to wake up any earlier than I had to. Then I started seeing videos of the group fitness classes on Facebook. So I decided to at least give it a try for a week. I was embarrassed on my first day, but Jennifer made me feel comfortable, as if Ive been part of the group the whole time. The people I exercised with also was as encouraging and welcoming as Jennifer.The meal plan helped me to lose the weight, but the Jennifers workout sessions made the fat melt off. The meal plan was the hardest part of the challenge. For me to be successful I tried to stick to the meal plan as close as possible for 3 weeks. Then (for money reasons) I adjusted to a different meal plan, but kept the original meal as my foundation.When it all was said and done, I went from 254lbs to 222lbs in 6 weeks. I would recommend anyone who wants to lose weight and start a healthier lifestyle to accept their challenge. But dont just accept it, you have to push yourself. Push yourself by setting personal goals for each exercise you do. Thank you Mike and Jennifer, you both are awesome.

With an upcoming wedding this year I knew that it was time to really start taking my fitness and health seriously. My fiance and I had tired in the past to do our own thing, but failed within weeks of seeing no results. Signing up for the challenge was one of the best decisions I have made for myself. The food plan and workouts made it easy for me to stay on task and get the work done. The workouts where up beat and kept me working. I have always had problems with my weight. I didnt eat right and I didnt exercise and even if i did exercise, my diet killed it. I was at this one chance away from having some kind of weight loss surgery. I started unsure but I got the hang of it. Everyone was so helpful and motivated me to keep going. The trainers rocked, your body didnt have time to get used to anything. The workouts were always challenging me to push harder. Even though I have issues with my right knee, modification was just as effective as the regular form. I have never been so excited about my health. I extend thanks with complete gratitude and humility. Transform U started my fitness success and because of their program, I have hope for the future. I am 21lbs lighter and significant inches shredded in the six weeks that I have participated. I joined the challenge as an additional push to jumpstart my fitness goals and to continue pushing me towards the right direction. Although I wanted to lose the weight the most important part to me was to learn how to stay disciplined and committed to the fitness grind. It is very uncomfortable for me to write a negative review, but I hope it helps someone out there avoid being treated poorly and losing $$$. I used to be a trainer at this gym, working for Mike Seta. I found it hard for myself to recommend and invite people to come train with me there, because of the unethical business practices and disrespect from Mike. He would commonly talk poorly about the clients, making fun of them to me behind their backs, leaving me in an awkward situation of standing up for them and their genuine efforts. I loved my clients! I put up with a lot of disrespect and unethical practices, and maybe I should have taken a stand sooner. He first lied to people about my accomplishments on my resume, which I thought was maybe just a mistake. Then I had women come to me saying I scheduled appointments with them, and upon investigation, learned that Mike was pretending to be me, while texting female potential clients to persuade them to come to the gym. When I confronted him about it, he dismissed my concern and said it was because women would respond better to using a woman’s name as the texter! He didn’t care about my concern, or the fact that it made me look unorganized to have women tell me I was scheduling appointments with them (interrupting my sessions with clients do go through all this). I also caught him twice entering the women’s locker room without announcing himself first, while I was in the room. What really became the deal-breaker for me, was I realized I wasn’t getting paid for all the clients I was training. I brought the inaccuracy of my paycheck to compare to my records, and he refused to look into it for me. He refused to provide me a time sheet or any documentation of my time there, refused to tell me how my pay would be taxed (never filled out a tax form so no taxes were ever taken out, asked if I would be a 1099, and said no...), and refused any solutions I gave to resolve this matter. I did some digging through the software he uses for clients to check-in, and found that I wasn’t getting paid for any clients over the age of 50. I brought evidence of this to him, and he still refused to fix the problem, or pay me for the work I did and never got paid for. The amount became nearly $1000, and still nothing...I know several clients that have left because of him changing things without communicating to them, billed wrongly, or did not receive what they were promised when signing up. I hope this brings some assurance to those who are considering becoming a client here. Please find a coach that has your best interest in mind, listens, and keeps good communication with you.

This is not a gym, this is a lifestyle. The trainers here put together dynamic workouts. They challenge you, but you keep coming back because they know how to best support your goals and keep you going after you meet your goal! Flexible scheduling, multiple levels of classes, multiple types of classes - strength, core, BOSU, HIIT, TRX, etc. and its a personal training experience so no more than 4 people per session. Ive been going for almost a year and still loving it and the results.

I found out about TransformU Fitness on a Facebook post. I made an appointment to meet Mike to see if I would be a good fit. Walking in I couldnt help but feel intimidated, as Ive always been to large chain gyms in the past. TransformU Fitness is a small close knit group and you can feel the family-like atmosphere the moment you walk in. Mike made me feel very at ease and very welcome so I decided to jump all in for a 6 week class. Mike, all the trainers, and all the other members immediately made me feel like I was already a part of the group. Not only have I found an amazing place to get my body into great shape, but I have made some great friends who motivate and help me push myself to do better. For someone who played sports growing up, working out was never fun for me. Friends used to joke that I was allergic to the weight room. However after going from 170 lbs to 230 lbs in a matter of 3-4 years, I knew that I had to make a change. Whether I liked it or not. I was just talking to my wife a week before finding TransformU Fitness about making such a change when scrolling Facebook I came across the TransformU Fitness 6 week challenge. I was nervous to start because I wasnt sure of what to expect. Mike gave a great consultation before the challenge about how he creates meal plans and workouts to cater towards weight loss but youre still not sure until you get started.Once the challenge started, I was completely confident in knowing that I could hit my goals with the workouts and meal plan designed. My starting weight was 227 lbs and at my final weigh-in I was 205 lbs! There are separate meal plans for men and women. They are similar but different in portion sizes. They are also easy to follow. Shopping can be the hardest part, so I recommend going with a plan ahead of time. Mike and the rest of the trainers are great. The atmosphere can be light-hearted between workouts which I like! For someone like myself whom has never enjoyed working out, its nice to be able to joke around and laugh for a second before the next workout. Its also great that the workouts are in a group setting. Sometimes a little peer competition is a better motivator than a trainer can be. The workouts can be challenging to begin with but not too challenging to where they cannot be done. The trainers are great and always there to motivate you and answer any questions that you may have. For me, I didnt have many difficulties with the challenge. Most always I was able to schedule the time that I wanted to workout. Overall, I can say that I am extremely happy with TransformU Fitness and I will definitely be doing another challenge in the near future!

Six weeks ago, I began a journey of weight-loss and fitness that I’d been flirting with and downright ignoring in a shame cycle for years. After losing 20 pounds when I was a teenager, I nestled into a fluctuating 150-155 lb weight for almost ten years, but knew I was still carrying a lot more than I needed. Since then, I’ve tried half-heartedly to lose weight countless times, but never fully committed. After all, it was not fun the first time around. I was eating less than 1,200 calories every day and pushing myself to the point of exhaustion. The idea of truly pushing myself in that way again left a bad taste in my mouth.The 20 in 42 challenge at Transform U Fitness helped me to change my body and my perspective. It became clear that weight loss was going to be a result of this challenge, but not the goal. Instead, the focus was on self-discipline and motivation. The message was not, “you can lose weight!” It was, “you are strong and you can do this.” Every day that I followed the meal plan, went to a workout class, and did cardio was a day I learned to celebrate myself and my capability a little bit more. The trainers at TUF showed us how to harness our own power and lean on positivity. They encouraged us to offer our support and love to our classmates as often as they cheered us on. Through them, I learned not only that I could push myself and enjoy the experience, but also that I have the power to really change someone else’s journey for the better by offering them support and praise.Going to classes at Transform U Fitness quickly became my favorite part of each day. I never had to talk myself into going to workout, even when I was sore or sick. As someone with a powerful ‘shortcut’ trigger, that’s a phenomenon akin to finding an entire field of four-leaf-clovers. With Jen’s contagious, affirming attitude, and Mike’s zen, open-minded approach to fitness and health, anything felt possible. We had room to be ourselves and still be fit. There was no conforming to “that gym persona,” while we were in class. One of the girls and I sang to each other every time we got too tired to move our arms and legs. It kept us going and in high spirits as we pushed ourselves farther than we thought we could. I have made some wonderful friends through the 20in42 challenge, and I learned that weight-loss and working out does not mean punishing yourself, or becoming someone else. I started coming to Transform U fitness in late July. I tried a couple of boot camp classes and fell in love. Then in mid August there was an opportunity to do a six week fitness and weight loss challenge. I had no idea what I was getting into at the time. At first, I found myself overwhelmed but quickly fell into a great routine with boot camp classes five days a week and a specific nutrition plan.I learned the importance of teamwork and overcoming obstacles that I never knew were possible. I started the class with strangers and have now found a new family that I look forward to seeing every morning. I could not have made it through the workouts without the motivation of Jen Simpson! The upbeat music, positive attitudes, encouragement and pure love for people is what keeps me coming back.
