My fiance and I had a couch delivered on 12/31/2015 and we have had a terrible experience since. Heres a run-down of what has happened:The delivery driver backed into my car and damaged my tail light and fender. While they were trying to get the couch up our stairs, they tore the coat rack and stair railing completely off the wall leaving holes. The two movers were unable to lift and carry the couch themselves, so my fiance and I had to step in and help. Upon removal of the plastic, the couch was damaged due to the moversWe were assured Rent-A-Center would pay for all the damages and was given a phone number to contact their insurance company and when we called in the beginning of January, the contact had a voicemail saying she was out of the office until February 8th and gave a number for another contact. The second contact did not answer and never called me back after I left a voicemail. I tried calling her back again a week or two later and then got a recording that she was out of the office for a couple weeks.Ive left numerous voicemails with their insurance company, but havent heard anything from them. Rent-A-Center is saying our insurance claim is approved, but I havent spoken with anyone regarding the claim. Weve mentioned our situation several times to Rent-A-Center and they keep saying someone will contact us, but we havent heard anything.All in all, a very poor experience. I will be contacting Rent-A-Center corporate to hopefully resolve my situation.
