Horrible customer service!!We paid for the total care package in advance $323.17. Geek squad set up a date and time, which was Saturday from 12-4pm. They did not show up between that time frame and we gave them a call. We were told they changed our time, without contacting us to 12-8pm. Once they had not arrived by 7:30pm we gave them a call. We were informed that they completely cancelled our order. There excuse was, our bank cancelled the transaction at 9am the same morning. I spoke with the bank and was informed, that was a lie! We called there customer service, call center and was informed they were gonna refund our money immediately. My wife asked how they would refund monies that they claimed was already cancelled by our bank. We are in the process of disputing the amount with our bank.Stay away from companies like this. This is the second time we had problems with this company! Never again!! Buyer Beware!

Under the heading of Few Will Offer Good News I would like to comment that my two experiences with this Geek Squad have been excellent and I am about to go to them one more for advice. I have never been overcharged (in my opinion) and have always received good service promptly and very courteously. Some people would complain if you hanged them with a new rope!.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I purchased the insurance on my Samsung phone, 15 months in I dropped it damaging the phones screen and battery. I followed the instructions, requiring me to send the phone in and wait to receive one back. I was told I would have my phone back in working order in 4 days. I received it back after 6 days with no battery. I was specifically told in a live chat (which I have a printed transcript) to include the battery since it was damaged. Called and now Im told I wasnt supposed to send battery and now they have to put in an order for a battery, which will take 5-6 additional days and a day to charge it. So 4 days to receive my phone back in working order has now become 13-14 days. Terrible company and getting worse, so I will not give them another chance to rip me off and I suggest you dont either.
Locked my keys in the car with the car running and geek squad came to my rescue in a timely manner and made me a spare key and wonderful job and price thanks they are great

I just wanted to post a little experience a new customer of mine just had. She took her laptop in to you guys because it was extremely slow, freezing often, and the wireless connection was unstable. She was told that, for $200, you guys could remove the 100+ viruses that were on the computer. She told them that she has Microsoft Security Essentials installed and its always kept up-to-date. They told her that your equipment works deeper to find viruses. Interestingly enough, when she asked to see the results of the virus scan that was supposedly performed, she was told that it was not possible to do so.She then found me and brought her computer over, where it took me 15 minutes to monitor the system resources and find a background process called wmpnetwk.exe eating up 80-90% of her laptops memory. I killed the service completely, as its origin was that of Windows Media Player and a network sharing operation it was constantly trying to perform. Upon doing this, the laptop memory consumption idled down to normal rates and her wireless connection was once again stable. I also ran a virus scan which produced no results at all, as the computer was completely clean.I returned the laptop to her, completely free of charge, 100% stable wireless, lightning speed, and it was then that she understood the difference between taking her computer to someone who just wants money, and taking her computer to someone who cares.A customer for life is better than a customer once.
Horrible! They dont communicate. Everyone acts like idiots. You have to go through a call center just to reach someone at your local store. The local store still didnt have the info regarding my repair. Never again!
