Dark, air in large room was on low. Colder in bar area. Smh. Needs updating to be brighter for a daytime event. Maybe better for night party event.

Its okay place, but you need to fix your bathrooms up to bring them up to date. The toilet doors raged need new tiles on the bedroom floor

So I am in the event business and I hate writing bad reviews for other event businesses, but this one has to be said. I had a wedding to set up for at Elegant Event Center last Saturday (09/22/18) and the doors were locked. I instantly felt bad for the bride, because no one should have to experience that during their big day. I had a wedding to set up by 10am and the bride and I spoke months in advance about the set up time of 8:30-9:30am and both agreed that it was acceptable. I tried calling the venue coordinator myself to see what was going on, but no reply. I had to send someone else from my team to the 10am set up I had, which was such an inconvenience as they had to come to the Elegant Event site to get the materials.. Anyway, I couldnt imagine leaving the bride on her big day. Upon being let in two hours later, I noticed the chairs and tables were not set up. This was very disappointing. Ive been in the business for 5 years and every venue has tables and chairs set up, at least for a wedding. At the end of the day, we were able to pull the decor together. But, this has to be the most disorganized event center I have ever heard of and used. I couldnt believe the establishment would allow itself to be represented so poorly. I will never recommend my brides or other vendors to come here to have their wedding. If you want to turn up and have a drink or two, fine, but to have your wedding day entrusted to a company like this, I would think again. The day was more than stressful and I was the vendor just imagine the couples sentiments. I will not mention the venue coordinators name but they should be disappointed in themselves and know that word of mouth is powerful. Hope the couple move forward with legal actions.

A good R&B club to go to bathrooms clean good music no fighting everybody getting along what yall do need is some good food up in there and then I will be on point I recommend yall if you ever want to go out go out to see them they do such an awesome job yall be happy going in yall will be happy going out

I always have a Wonderful Time when I go to Party

I recently attended a wedding at this venue and while I enjoyed the wedding, the facility was subpar. The restrooms were not clean, specifically, the men’s restroom was completely flooded with toilet water. In addition, the bar staff were not friendly or professional. I would not recommend this venue for hosting events.

More than meets the eye inside this location but parking is scarce and if youre not lucky enough to get on the blacktop youre in the gravel. Good for a small party.

This is the worse place to do a wedding. If I could give it 0 stars, I would! When I say the venue coordinator, Vicky, practically went MIA, a week to the wedding and on the WEDDING DAY, it was a nightmare! She was very hard to communicate with. She gave us a cell phone number that was never reachable until we used strong warnings and verbiage. On the wedding day, she did not show up to open the venue, we were left at the door with vendors for TWO hours!!! Then when a co-manager arrived he admitted that our event was unknown to him (after deposits were paid in full, a wedding is not on the calendar but a birthday party was. Will get to that) we were pissed! Once we were let in, per contract, the tables were supposed to be set up and, of course, that wasn’t done !! To make matters worse, she finally showed up, and did not speak to us (no apologies) and she left, immediately. The bar package was totally messed up, but luckily, the co-managers (which are like 10 and had no idea what was going on) decided to pay for it because it was all confusing and disorganized. The best part, the co-manager was just buying the moscato for the toasts, 20 minutes before the toast. Absolutely unacceptable! Of course, this was all communicated to Vicky months before the wedding and week of wedding, but did she confirm bar package? NO!! And, she had her read receipts on y’all! Like it’s 2018, you are just vindictive if you have your read receipts on and not responding to someone about their damn wedding. Just inconsiderate! The mens bathroom was flooded !!! Why? Because there was a party the night before and no one on her team was told to clean it. Can you imagine your guests drinking alcohol and the bathroom is not usable?! Just a mess! Then, the worse part, they had a birthday party after the wedding that was unbeknownst to the bride and groom! Outdone! As a result, we had to break down our event by 10pm, and the couple paid for the event to be over by 10:30pm. Anyway, you get my gist, if you’re having a wedding, NEVER EVERRRRRRR COME HERE! Just don’t give your big day to an unorganized and uncouth venue coordinator like Vicky!!! It’s sad because we wanted to support a black business owner. IM me or email me I’ll tell you more.

Vicky, you have the audacity to respond to the earlier post, yet you couldn’t return my phone calls, my wedding planner’s phone calls, my husband (the groom) phone call?? Riddle me that. Then, you were bold enough to come to the venue and not apologize??? What outside party do you speak of????? In regards to our event I spoke to YOU, I met with YOU, all requests were made through YOU, and I cash apped YOU all payments !! I texted you and called you up to the week of my wedding, you have your read receipts on and still DONT reply. Did you personally speak to me or my husband directly after our event to see how everything went for us?? No! So don’t speak on the groom being saticfied.... the fact is we weren’t! You never called me the day of our event, yet, you spoke to your helpers and still ignored my calls. Not to mention you inconvenienced three of my vendors because the doors were not open on time. Everything was extremely unorganized and simply a mess. You had no tables or chairs out and in our contract that was suppose to be done! Your bathrooms were disgusting and the men’s bathroom was flooded from the night before. You didn’t effectively communicate with your bar staff about our bar package so they were completely clueless as to what to serve our guest! All drinks, including beer and water were being served in mini plasic cups (shot cups), just unbelievable!! Like you went out of your way to try and make my wedding ceremony a nightmare. But don’t you worry, you really ticked the wrong person off. I can go on but I will have my lawyers contact you and your team. Your service is lower than subpar. You have no compassion and you are a poor representation for this business. We will be taking legal action! Period.
