I was able to get same day service on a repair on our trash compactor. Called at 9:15 AM, and Justin the repairman was at our door noon sharp, just as promised. He fixed the problem readily and was good natured. Billing was fairly priced. We will be a repeat customer if and when we need some help. Great work!

I was very impressed with Days Appliance Repair. My refrigerator wasnt cooling properly. The day I called they sent Todd out to do the repair. He was prompt, efficient, and diagnosed the problem quickly. He was able to manually defrost the fan so I didnt have to throw out all of my food until the part came in. I highly recommend this great company!

Professional, prompt, and fairly priced. I called Days this morning around 8 am about my refrigerator not cooling properly and it was up and running by 2:30 pm!The person who took my call was very courteous and scheduled someone to come between 1-5 pm, and my technician arrived at 2:00 after giving me a 30 minute notice (much appreciated with such a wide window). The entire repair took less than 30 minutes, and he had all of the parts needed to do the work on the spot.Given the seamless and same-day experience, I thought the pricing was excellent. I even looked up the replacement part and was delighted to see I was charged the exact same price I would have paid if I purchased it myself- some competitors will tack on convenience fees for that. I will definitely recommend Days to all my family and friends.

Quickly,fridge was leaking Sunday. We called a competitor and said they won’t touch it. So we called Day and they were out by 1:45 Monday. Fixed and the price was about as fair as they need to make a living as well. The tech was professional and knowledgeable!! Highly recommend!!!

Called Tuesday afternoon about an oven that would never come up to temperature; they were out on Thursday morning and it was working again before 10:00 AM. The tech showed me the part that was pretty clearly the issue and had a replacement on the truck. I cant imagine how this could have gone any smoother.

Not only were they unreliable but they were very expensive and unpredictable. We recently had service to several appliances in our new home by your organization. It was something set up through our home warranty program. Because we have a Dacor brand stove the home warranty company was having a difficult time finding a service company that had experience with this particular brand and was capable of making the repairs. Thankfully your organization has a team member that is familiar with the brand and was able to help. Much to our surprise we were sent the same technician that had come to our previous home to replace an ice maker before we sold our home. This team members name is Pat. I wanted to take the time to write you a quick note to let you know that not only did he do a great job last summer in our previous home but he did a wonderful job this time around. Pat is very kind, knowledgeable and personable. He works quickly and efficiently and is always ready and willing to offer little tips and advice for how to maintain, clean and personal service our appliances so that we get more “life” out of them and they work at a more optimal level. This is always helpful. He is neat and clean and leaves the work area clean upon his departure. You should be very proud to have him on your team. He should serve as an example as to how someone should conduct themselves and work in others home. It is not always comfortable to have service persons in one’s home, but Pat is very professional and helpful. He should be commended for his work and efforts. Had service tech come by to check stove hinge that broke, causing the oven to not heat well. He told us the cost for a new door for the oven (!) and the cost to just replace the hinge. Still pricey but he said it was because it’s an older model Tappan and hard to find so hope it holds out. I felt he was honest and gave us options, and then ordered the part, returned, replaced it in no time. Very happy with Days. This is the second time we’ve used their service and would recommend them.

Holy cow! Thank you, Days Appliance and especially John in customer service. I do not write reviews but after my horrible experience with another repair company, I had to sing the praises here. On the same day that they got the order from my home warranty company, they secured the parts AND came to my house by 1pm, fixed the dishwasher, and left with little to no mess, fuss, or issues. I know home warranty companies arent the easiest to deal with for repair companies, but John went out of his way to ensure I was taken care of. Thank you!

Had a great experience with Days Appliance repair. Our basically brand-new(3 years old) whirlpool side-by-sides water dispenser was leaking and creating a huge mess. The ice maker had also gone out. They came out, assessed the situation, gave us a quote for parts and services needed and a timeline of when the parts would be in and when we could expect a return call for the installation. All went exactly as described and our fridge is now back to full working order with water and ice. The bill was 100% to the quote which was reasonable for the professional level of service required. I will 100% call Days again should I need service and would be glad to refer them to family & friends~ thanks! Jenn & Jeff Cefalu

Im not sure what has happened with this company over the last 6-10 months, but the customer service has gone WAY down. Im sure Mr. Day would be disappointed to hear that a repeat/loyal customer (the hardest to secure) is now turning to another company. Called about my A/C and was told that it would be a few weeks because they were behind. I said, no problem, I am not in a hurry (Im not elderly and have no children), but asked if I could at least get on the books so I have a date to reference. The woman treated me like this was the most absurd question to ask. She was so rude that it took me back by surprise. She told me that shed have to ask Mr. Day if she could put me in the books and that she would call me back. That was 2 weeks ago and I still havent heard back. In the meantime, Ive taken my business someplace else - oh... and I got the A/C fixed the next day by a professional who was nice, courteous and now has my loyalty. Better change the way you treat customers or you wont have a business!

They came out on 3 occasions and kept coming up with different problems. Ordered parts and when they arrived, didn’t replace and said different part. Finally on 3rd trip said “call whirlpool. I don’t know what’s wrong and I don’t know why other guy kept ordering parts”. Really waste of weeks of my time.

My fridge stopped working after 2.5 years, which was shocking. Pat came out the next morning and began working on it, it had a clog in the Freon line. It started cooling and I paid for the quick response and he left. 2 hours later it stopped again. He came back out free of charge and worked 2 hours and recharged, the same thing happened. The next day he came back in the morning on his way in just to check one more thing...it turns out there was a leak somewhere in the Freon line. Fiscally it was not wise to put anymore money into the lemon of a fridge. I was shocked the next day when the owner of the company called and offered to cut my original bill in half. This is after they put in nearly 5 hours of service. This is a quality company and you cant say that very often now.

Our 8 year old Whirlpool Gold bottom freezer refrigerator stopped cooling. Day’s came promptly and de-iced the evaporator and replaced control board. Cleared blocked defrost drainpan and replaced draintube with an improved design. Cost $384.62 includes $79 service call and $90 labor. We had the defective draintube replaced previously for $106 in 2013 and also the defroster control and defrost thermostat for $302. I believe this model Whirlpool Gold Refrigerator is poorly designed to require so many repairs.

I had an AWFUL experience with Days. I was truly shocked at how bad their customer service was. I was referred to this company through my realtor. We were selling a house and moving into another and needed to repair the water line in our fridge as the ice maker and water dispenser were inoperable. We were on a timeline with the buyer of our home to make the update prior to closing. After sending someone out, they had to order a part so we burned some time waiting for the return visit. The day after he visited, I opened our freezer and a melted container of ice cream fell out all over the kitchen floor. I am 8 months pregnant now, so was already having trouble bending over and was not happy to have that mess to address. Even worse, everything in our freezer was destroyed because he had turned it off. Im a big cook and we had some expensive items including salmon, scallops and shrimp, along with other staples such as fruit, vegetables, frozen meals, etc. I was going to give Days the benefit of the doubt if they offered to pick up the cost of what they destroyed. I called in with a polite tone explaining what happened and was met with a bad attitude from a woman (I believe named Penny) who clearly doesnt understand how to deliver customer service. She never apologized for the situation they put us in, never offered to make it up, and actually came out and said what I was telling her was impossible because there was no way to turn off a freezer. So clearly she also doesnt understand the business she operates in. I actually took pictures of the spill on the floor, the very full freezer of melted food, and the dial turned to zero. I told her I had these pictures, even though it seemed ridiculous that she was essentially implying I either somehow did this myself or was making up a story. She told me shed have to talk with the guy who came out and that she would call me back. At the end of the call I told her I was really disappointed that she had not taken any responsibility or even apologized for the inconvenience Id experienced. She never got back with me. We ended up letting the worker come for the return appointment due to the fact that we were under time pressure and concerned another place would not have time to get the part in time since we had this contract with the buyer based on our inspection/contract for home sale. When he was there he told my husband that he could have accidentally made that mistake, but that he would have to see what the owner would be willing to offer to make up for our loss of food (he saw our absolutely empty freezer when he returned). They never got back with us about making it right. Im so amazed that a business would be so bad at service in 2015, not only because referrals matter, but in the age of the internet. My realtor has since stopped making any referrals to them, and I am warning everyone online with this review.

These folks are professional through and through, Reading through the reviews, I am astounded at the people deciding what % to upsell a part. If you had the wherewithall in the beginning to diagnose and order required part, then you should have made the repair yourself, You are paying them to come to you first of all, then you are paying for their expertise. Not just the part. Cmon people. .Everyone deserves to get paid for their time, They stand behind their work which is becoming more and more infrequent. Good job Days. Keep showing up when called.

My 15 month old LG refrigerator stopped cooling and freezing completely on Saturday. I have the smart diagnosis system on it so called LG. They tell me Im just outside my 1 yr warranty, however some parts such as the sealed system and compressor are covered for parts only. I then call my home warranty (AHS) and explain all this. They refer me to Days appliances who I again explained all this to. Days repairman comes out today and says that I have zero coolant and a sealed system leak and that I need to call LG back as its covered. He also says that he cant fix it because if he does anything to it, it would void my warranty. I then call LG who say they will send the parts directly to Days and send them authorization to fix it so my warranty would be fine. LG just needed an address to send the parts to and an email for Days Appliances to send the authorization. GREAT, or so I thought! I call Days to get this info on my cell while I have LG on the landline. After much discussion, Judy at Days informed me that they are declining the repair because they dont want to get in the middle of third party repairs. I didnt and still dont see why it was an issue since LG was sending them the parts directly and AHS should cover the labor just as any other job. Why is there more risk of a third party sending them parts at no cost than there would be if they were ordering parts from a third party?? Now Im going into day #6 with no refrigerator. Since it was after hours by the time all this took place and I could call AHS back, I now have to wait until another repair company calls me to set up yet another appointment. Then wait for them to come and do their own diagnosis. Then wait for LG to send the parts and them to come back out. Parts could have been ordered today but thanks to Days Appliances, I will be without my fridge for at least another week. I wanted to give them zero stars for refusing to do the repair and work with LG, but I gave them 2 stars for the repairman who did come out in a fair amount of time and was polite. I also believe he sincerely thought he would void my warranty! It was the office that I have a problem with!

My boyfriend called and told them the model # serial # of our Samsung fridge ....told also the problem with the ice-maker we were having......needless to say only a month after buying it.....it was freezing into a solid piece of ice....a service man came out a week later....and opens the fridge and flips his laptop up and says we cannot fix this..then tries to entertain us about his houses he has seen..... and tells us that the Samsung products ice makers they cannot usually fix anyways....he was here for maybe 20 mins and charged us for a service call was 90.00.....and say if you buy the parts.... i can come back and fix it.... so do you really think i would ....oh hell no!!!!!!!

I opened a chargeback recently with my bank because these people tried to scam me!! They told came to my house to look at my LG fridge and was here 5mins and charged me $74 and said they cant fix it!! I called and complained then they said well they can fix it but it wpuld cost me $800-$1000 and it would be a couple of weeks. They said just contact Lg they should help you. Lol so I did and LG fixed it for $202 after tax . Days Appliance should be shut down!!!!!

They then refused to allow me to return the part because the bubble wrap was open despite the fact the part never left my car, never even tried to install it as I had found it cheaper online.
