For the most part, the service is excellent. Geek Squad has many new people learning, so it is essential to know what youre getting yourself into when getting your item(s) serviced. I did have one major complaint over the many years of excellent service. My laptop memory was not backed up and lost. I did not receive helpful service but met with a rude and condescending attitude from both Geek Squad and Best Buy. So, make sure to back up your files because no one will care or even try to help you.

Robert is very helpful and went out his way to help me with a issue i had with a PC at home. Very informative and also very professional. I will definitely make this my bestbuy/geeksquad store to come to from now on. Thanks again!

Brand new HP computer black screen that means something is defected in this brand new computer that we did not buy a refurbished system I bought a brand new system through Amazon online Ive used it a couple of times again the screen is black they told me to take it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy I told them please give me a new computers this is no good its black they say we have to troubleshoot it and see if we can repair it for $700 I dont want to repair computer I would like a brand new computer in the Box they said were not able to do that so Im not satisfied with their service because they should be throwing this computer in the trash and giving me a brand new computer so stay tuned my computer is still at the shop and theyll be giving me the details today or tomorrow

Unfortunately, I just had a really bad experience with geek personnel when going to pick up a tablet. I was contious I didnt have an appointment so I was told to wait 25 min. After 45 minutes of waiting I went to ask and they attended people in front of my face and told me I didnt have an appointment, one of their excuses was to have someone helping me in spanish when I had previously said I could be helped in spanish or english, that I was there only for pick up.They made me wait for so long that I ended up not picking up my tablet and left very dissapointed.

The staff is full of people who simply dont know what theyre doing, and they all have CDs that corporate gives them which have the power to repair, or completely destroy, your computer. Their prices are far too high in comparison to the mom-and-pop computer shops in the area, and their work is far too sloppy. I would never recommend the Geek Squad to a friend. Find a geek you know and trust, and stick with him/her.‎
