Thank you Jr!! I had such a great experience with Butler Euro Auto shop. I dont know a lot about cars in general (especially Volkswagens) but Jr is very honest and transparent. He saved me from being ripped off by another auto shop. I was able to call him, explain what was happening with my car and have it fixed within a day. This is now my go to for all auto repairs and questions! Thank you again.

Normally i dont write reviews but i just want others to be very careful coming to this shop. im a young girl, i pay for everything myself and do everything myself. so when i came to this shop i already knew i had to be careful and ask allot of questions so i dont get played for my money. JR the shops owner seems like an honest man, my first repair was discounted and a good deal, but as i was driving away my car broke down and i had no chose but to return it to the same shop because it was the closest and i couldnt even drive it any farther then that. i got that fixed but when i went to pick it up it was another thing, the way he uses his words is very convincing, basically explaining that the other repairs were done too late which is why other parts of the car got damaged. basically he fixed 4 different things for me, when i went to pick up my car the last time he told me i needed a new engine and he can rebuild one for me? in total i spent around $2,000 with just those repairs. then has the nerve to try to convince me that i needed a new engine. Thats when i FINALLY had enough, i was being to patient and gullible. he quoted me $2,211 for a rebuilt engine and $3,354 for a new engine. on a side note my car started failing on me more ever since i took it there, problems that never came up before.so i decided to take my car to another shop to finally see if he was being honest with me. it turned out that there was nothing wrong with my engine and i didnt need a new one! but i didnt understand because my car was having a hard time starting now(which had never happened before till the last time i picked it up from there). so i just kept driving it and eventually it just started turning on normally. i dont know why it was acting like that or if he had anything to do with it but I DONT ADVISE ANYONE TO GO THERE!

My car was having some AC issues and with this heat I couldnt drive anymore without AC, called multiple places and most places told me I needed appointment and some diagnosis will take a couple hours and probably even needed to leave my car until next day ( it was around 3pm that day) found this place and call the shop he told me to come in, he started to work on my car as soon as I got there, in about an hour my AC was working full blast, Labor was a little more than expected but I didnt have to drop my car and leave it for a day, so for me it was worth it. Since I was ready to go same day in the afternoon.

Great auto repair. I stopped in to get a tune up and received excellent service at a fair price for my complete service. I have been to dealerships in the past and have been charged with no doubts about the bill but services and recommendations were not always accurate. I gave Butlers a chance and they have demonstrated their experience and thoroughness. I wil definately return here again.

These guys provide amazing quality service, work very quickly, and are as approachable, honest, and kind as you could want. I am extremely happy to be back in CA, so that I can take my Honda to them again.

Finally! A local auto shop that actually cares about its customers. Junior is a wonderful and intelligent technician/mechanic/owner and I absolutely recommend him to any friend or family member who needs great service at a great price.

I just moved to san diego a few months ago and i was really lucky to find an auto repair shop that helped me a few weeks ago by repairing my car for which sadly the water pump and the fuel pump needed urgently replacement. My experience was really good because I felt that the service given to my car and the customer service given to me was great.
