I was here for two hours and he was going to send me home with rippled polish on my nails. Asked for it to be fixed and he reluctantly did it. When I walked out I realized my toes were also rippled. By the time I got home, my toe polish pulled up. When I further examined, the paint was still wet underneath. Which is ridiculous because my toes had sat for at least an hour and a half. Update: I refuse to let them do my nails again, because I don’t even want to waste my time. The guy insisted i sit down and get them done in exchange for no refund…. And it’s not even the pattern I want. I wanted cow print

I got the SNS French manicure onSaturday. They were super rushed and he didn’t clean my cuticles so three days later by Wednesday my nails look like they’re two weeks grown out. Also they’re lifting on the sides. I also got a pedicure and, a few days later I’m super itchy between my toes and my skin is cracked. Definitely got a fungus and that’s the only place I could have gotten it from. I called and I spoke to the “manager” and went in in person. He did offer to fix my nails but blamed me for not communicating well enough that on top of the 45$ for SNS manicure I also needed a manicure for an extra price. And then he said I didn’t get the athlete’s foot fungus there.. not sure where else I could have gotten it. Super frustrated not going back. Is avoid this place!

Great atmosphere good prices. Kelly is awesome. Chose a beautiful purple for my nails. She does a great pedicure too. Will definitely be back.

Very talented and very professional. I go to Q and he does a phenomenal job! I absolutely love his creativity and how he takes his time on my nails. It’s so amazing and peaceful to talk to him, he’s very kind and has a wonderful personality! Overall this place is great and the atmosphere is beautiful!

My nails turned out great and the gentleman who did them was so nice and thorough. However when I walked I was greeted by a very rude woman. The gentleman who did my nails the 4 stars are for you the staff member who greeted me.....well that person wouldve gotten 1 star for acknowledging I walked in.

Clean facility, a little crowded. Employees were pleasant. Not as expensive as the place I used to go. I wish they took appointments because the wait can be a while. They expect you to leave as soon as the polish is on your toes and I wish theyd let it dry a bit longer before ushering you out but like I said its crowded and busy. Id go back again but try to time it when its not as busy.

Horrible experience! Several of us walked out! The extremely rude woman was embarrassingly rude to others as well as us. Unbelievable! Save your money and time and go to another place where they appreciate the business and are a joy to support and enjoy getting nails done.

Was very rushed. The gel did not set with the UV light. When i got home i noticed that they were bubbling. I went and had them fix it and they acted like it was my fault. They put your hands under the light. Its not like i left early and didnt let them set. Now its a week later and I am noticing another nail is bubbled. Ill go somewhere else from now on.

I went to Nail Envy for a few months before my wedding. I always asked for Tim who does a very good job. The last time I went I decided to just let whoever help me. I wish I knew her name as she should be fired. She started to help get the gel off my nails and I guess she got impatient. She hurt me badly and broke off several nails. I had just spent 4 months growing my nails out for nothing. When I told her that she hurt me she laughed. If you go here be selective about who you allow to help you. I may go back but I will wait for someone that I know can do a good job. This girl was sloppy and rough.

Will NEVER come back here again. When I first arrived the lady told me to pick out my polish and before I could even finish she barked at me to come sit down. The guy doing my nails was nice however he used nail tips to remove my existing artificial nails (huge no no and I should’ve called the state board for this as this is NOT PERMITTED) and he kept sneezing, coughing and going into the bathroom every few minutes. Once we were finished he put some lotion on my hands and I guess my nails hadn’t fully set in the UV light which caused them to become tacky. I hadn’t realized that until I went to run to target. I washed my hands three times with soap at target and when I realized it wasn’t helping I went straight back to nail envy. It hadn’t even been 20 minutes. I walk in and some heavy set guy (not the one who had done my nails) asked what the problem was. When I told him he said if we change the gel polish we will be charging you again... UH NO. Eventually he said he would apply another clear coat and thankfully whatever lotion residue wiped off with alcohol. Not even 2 days later I noticed the edges of my nails were turning darker than the initial color I picked out. This was the worst manicure I have ever received and I will tell everyone I know to never come here.

I highly recommend Nail Envy. All of the staff are very friendly and always do a stellar job. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Terrific service, friendly, great quality work

I have visited nail envy four times. I was so very impressed they I drove from Fairlane. But this last time was horrible. I was talking to the woman that has a ten year old daughter getting her nails done for the first time. I have a 10 year old granddaughter. I have rheumatoid arthritis and over the years, I have found when I distract myself pulling on my fingers doesnt hurt so bad. I think the fellow was offended . He made a comment about it three times. Once I got home and one chipped and two others faded, I realized he did not apply the final clear top coat. I tipped him almost 10 dollars. Will update on Monday when I waste gas to have this corrected. I will still go back one more time because the other experiences were amazing.

HORRIBLE. I walked in and showed the man a picture of what I was hoping to get and asked if he could do it. He replied yes and told me to pick out my colors. As I showed him the colors I wanted he said no they wouldnt look good and changed them. He then asked what shape I wanted and I replied to which he said no, almond will look better. I went with it figuring he was the professional in this case. When he was finished he charged me $75 for some of the sloppiest looking nails Ive ever seen. Would not recommend to anyone. After calling to speak to them about my nails, they were extremely rude and said since I walked out of the store there would be absolutely no refund and proceeded to hang up on me.

Such a nice atmosphere. Very quick but still get your moneys worth! They are very attentive. Loved the prices as well.

They offer walk-in only, and I was reluctant since I was in a hurry but they sat me quickly. After my old SNS had been dissolved, she had my nails completely finished in 30 mins, even while she was multi-tasking. They’re beautiful! I’m very impressed and will be back. My only concern is with only doing one coat of the color, they are thin (which looks amazing) but usually I have issues with breakage when they’re THIS thin. We’ll see how they hold up.

Staff wasnt friendly with questions or concerns of services provided. Went for 6 months and last 3 visits were bad. Felt that staff spoke to each other in their language and made fun of customers. Last visit my nails were some really thick, some thin, some with flat spots, and some that had large gaps on the side of the nail. My nails were not shaped up or looked over for errors. I was ashamed of the work I received and had to get them fixed at a different salon. I was a repeat customer who gave 3 chances!

They always do amazing work and are very nice. I have been going to them for years and always love my nails and that they last looking good for about a month

Pretty terrible actually. Not the friendliest or cleanest facility but the biggest issue is how unevenly cut and filed my nails were. I pointed it out a few times but I honestly just grabbed a nail file and evened out the really bad spots myself when she walked away. The nail polish is also fairly uneven but I gave up at that point. I have to point out that they use the same nail files between customers and if that freaks you out I would say chose a different place. Im not sure why I had such a bad experience but its very unfortunate.

I highly recommend Vivian. Her work with manicures and pedicures is impeccable! I have been to hundreds of places and this place is tops! 😀

The girl that did my service did not speak to me, didn’t even say hi. Acted like I was an imposition to her that’s the impression I got. I got the SNS nails with acrylic tips and at the end she didn’t put lotion on or massage my hands. Usually very good service especially with Vivian or Q, I will go back just not to her.

I have been a consistent client at this place for quite some time and never really had any issues....until my most recent experience. I arrived at 4:22pm, and never got called over to be attended to until I made a scene after waiting 1 hour and 25 minutes. I could tell they were fairly busy when I first arrived, but then I began to realize that other people were being attended to that arrived a long time after I did. So, I Iet the owner know my dissatisfaction, and they promptly got my SNS soaked off and new SNS applied. Then, I was still charged the full amount with no offers of apology or discounts. I will NEVER go back and I 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS NAIL SALON!!!

They were able to take me as a walk-in while they were busy, which is good. And they did a decent job on my basic mani/pedi. Pretty pricey, though, so Im not sure if Id go back.

Went in today for an SNS manicure and the man who did my nails did an incredible job! He was funny and speedy and my nails look absolutely beautiful. I think Nail Envy is going to become my new go-to!!

Today was my first time going to Nail Envy. My stepdaughter and I both got pedicures. They were busy when we arrived so I expected to have to wait but they were able to get us in right away. I was impressed with the amount of time they spent on the massaging. Usually, I feel this is the part that is rushed by most places. They were very accommodating to my 3 year old daughter who tagged along with us. She ended up getting her nails painted too! We loved the experience here and will definitely be back!

I always feel welcome by the staff. I am able to present nail designs and they are willing to give it a go! Wonderful humor and I always receive compliments about my nails.

Update: I went back to another technician and he was very professional and fixed what the last technician messed up. I was very satisfied.I have gone in several times and my nails usually turn out good. Today was not the case. The technician who worked on my names was distracted with a phone call and when I told her that my nails were uneven and bumpy she filed again and did nothing. I like my nails rounded but from the job she did she clearly didnt know how to evenly round a nail. My nails are lumpy, rounded haphazardly and she left chunks of sns powder under my nails. She was going to let me walk out with dust on my hands that she had slapped lotion on top of until she saw that I was angry. I had already told her this was a problem. The only thing I liked about my nails is the color. Im not overly picky or critical about my nails but this job bad. Another technician had to clean the excess from under my nails for the love!!!!

I was new to the area and the manager took great care of my nails.

Took over 2 hours to do my nails because they kept leaving me and helping others instead of finishing mine, smeared my nails and after asked lied to my face and said it wasn’t smeared when I watched them do it. Not going back... I don’t recommend either

Been going here for about 2 years Q is the best he always comes up with the best colors and desings. He is so kind and funny you will not be disappointed he is busy so you will want to make an appointment ahead of time.

My daughter and I went in to get our nails done (shes 12) I called ahead to get prices. I come in and again confirm what I want and if anything will charge more. They seemed as if they understood. Well after we finished I find out they charged me for a manicure that I didnt get. I only got gel polish in my natural nails. Quoted 20.00 charged 30. My daughter got acrylic regular polish quoted 30 and charged 40.00 because they said she got them longer. This is very disappointing as I have been going here every 2-3 weeks for months and I really liked this place but I wont be back.

Only place the ladies in our home gets their mannies and peddies.

This is the 3rd time and I will not be back. Asked for coffin shape and she couldnt get it right an left them way to long so I go back to get them shorter and they charged me for it 😡. They dont clean the files in between ppl. Very disappointed an wont be back..

I have been comin to nail envy for well over a year and I love the whole environment ! The prices are very fair for the services and quality you receive. Those that are complaining about the price, the saying goes “you get what you pay for” . Also, Just the same as if you go to hair salon, the prices vary depending on what you get . Designs, type of polish, length, etc . Mail envy has never let me down and I will continue to give them my business every 2-3 weeks!

Horrible place. Terrible customer service. Even though you make an appoinment they treat you as a walk-in.1. They do not even tell you that you are suppose to sign in when you come.2. They make you wait for too long making you seat down. I waited for one hour before I decided to give up on waiting.3. The staff seems tired all the time.4. They do not sanitized their equipment. So be very careful!!!5. I will never come back here and when asked Ill just tell people about my experience at this low class nail place.

Im honestly not a big fan of getting my nails done. Mostly because of not so fun part experiences at nail salons but I go to spend time with my girls when they visit. I loved nail envy!! Even though they were busy we didnt have to wait but a minute. They were super nice and the price was just right!

Step daughter went in was there over an hour and a half, not waiting to get service but while getting service. And they just did a terrible job. Nails were patchy, and rough. She was not satisfied in any way with the service. She had to go back and get them to fixed and they were not happy. She could tell they got an attitude when she asked them to fix the problem.

Dont waste your time or money. I went on Saturday around 5:00 p.m. to get a mani/pedi. The lady who did my nails was nice, but wouldnt use the 2 colors I (the paying customer) picked out. She told me one was red and one was green (not the case - I know its April...), so I ended up just getting the maroon color to please her, the nail tech....not to mention, it is now Tuesday, not even a full 3 days later, and multiple nails have chipped badly. It looks awful. Im legit upset I spent any kind of money on this. Theres a reason why I drive 35+ minutes to Roanoke to go to Polished for anything nail related. Thanks for nothing, Nail Envy. I will most certainly never be back.

I have had good experiences here with a few pedicures in the past. The most recent visit I decided to get a manicure as well. It was only the third time I had ever had a manicure, so I didn’t feel confident enough to tell the nail tech not to cut my cuticles because I figured he is the expert, he should know. He cut my cuticles and used the drill-like tool on my nails, and three of them started bleeding. He was very apologetic and I said at the time that it was ok, but I didn’t know I was going to get an infection, so now it seems less ok. My hands have been sore all week. Now I have infected fingernails and have to take antibiotics. Be careful!

I went in for a manicure with my family. I got a regular manicure and my nails chipped within 2 days. I called and the manager told me it was my fault for getting a regular manicure instead of a gel manicure. I was in the middle of getting my nails done and the lady doing my nails stopped and took my wallet and asked me which card I wanted to pay with. I wanted to pay at the end of my manicure but she insisted that I pay in the middle. This place was very unprofessional and I will not be coming back. Nail Bar in Blacksburg is cheaper and my manicure from there lasts much longer.EDIT: I went again because nail bar was packed. I received an even worse manicure. There was hair on three of my nails (which I had them redo) and they chipped two days later. Seriously not worth the money. And the entire time the lady kept telling me they would chip since I am doing a regular manicure instead of a gel manicure. Its almost as if they do their regular manicures poorly to persuade customers to get a more expensive manicure option next time they come.

I’ve been going here for about 2 years - going every 3-4 weeks for SNS. They are wonderful. I do make an appointment to not have to wait because it is a busy shop. Q is the best and one of the owners. Very pleasant and I enjoy chatting with him. He always remembers names and asks about my family and such. If you have a bad experience talk to Q and maybe try a different tech next time.

I normally don’t post reviews but this place used to be great not sure what happen to it in the last year. I went in for gel polish on toes, no pedicure just the polish. I was charged $30! I could have got a basic pedicure for the same price. Last time I’ll waste my money here.

Usually a wait because they are busy. They do a good job for the most part. I finally found a nail tech there that does my nails the way I like so I ask for her. Pedicures are relaxing. Its nice when they have music playing and offer a drink

My Experience was terrible. I couldnt believe the people in there wanting to get their nails done. One Lady Yelled at me to pick out a Polish. The samples were everywhere, everyone doligging through. Then she yelled at me where to take a seat and yelled at people to come wait on me and it was a nightmare she was behind the counter yelling I think she was the only one that spoke English. I felt like an animal being herded and herded out. it was terrible.

The person who did my pedicure was nice and did an amazing job; however: the guy who took over for my full set was completely and utterly rude. I asked him if he could do a design which he replied that he couldn’t do the one that I wanted, which was fine. He said he could do the rest of the design that I wanted however. It looks nothing like the rest of the picture that I showed him. Honestly a two year old could have done better. He said the design was free because he didn’t trust me to not complain. I’m already upset and stated that I did not like it but I didn’t have time to wait, as that I had to go to work. We got to the counter and he told me the price which was 120 but when I did the math I was only getting 80 dollars and had asked him to explain why it was that much. He said it was because of everything that I wanted; even when told the design part was “free”. I wanted to continue and complain but I was going to be late for work and had to leave. Will be going somewhere else from now on for my acrylic needs.

They made me wait an hour and didn’t communicate at all, took care of other people before even addressing me, sat me in a pedicure chair for 45 minutes and didn’t do anything. I have never been treated this horribly and neglect fully at a nail salon. The staff was rude when i asked for updates. I will not be back. Literally so angry at how much disrespect for my time there was here

Best massage chairs and hygienic - they use liners for each persons pedicure so no ones feet have to mingle with the persons feet before them! Also, they dont try to push you to an up sale, which is nice. Each time I am there, they have handed me a service menu and let me pick what I wanted :) Will be 5 stars if I find out that someone there that draws nail designs! This is definitely my top pick in Christiansburg!

I went here for the first time a couple weeks ago and everyone was so kind. The employees knew many of the customers like friends and made sure you felt welcomed. Not to mention the quality of the manicure itself was probably the best Ive every had. The space itself was clean and stylish, with several options for manicures and pedicures and were average price. This will be my regular place from now on!

Take your business elsewhere. Got my nails done Thursday afternoon with my roommate before we left for a week long cruise. Spent upwards of $80+ for a gel manicure and pedicure. By Saturday night (48 hours later) they were chipped. By Monday, the nails were peeling and I ended up just removing all of them. So 4 days after getting a gel manicure, my nails are plain again. I have never had this happen with gel nails- they always last weeks. SUPER disappointed and HUGE waste of money. Would absolutely not recommend this salon.

I had such a great experience! There was wide selection of services and products to chose from. The technician (Q) was so friendly and attentive. My nails were exactly what I requested. I left feeling pampered. I was also in and out pretty quickly even on a busy day! I highly reccomend Nail Envy!

AWFUL. I went in there with long natural nails for a manicure with nail polish. I wanted a simple design on them, the lady could not understand nor speak English. Which I don’t usually mind but this is a problem if you have to communicate with a customer about how they would like something. I told her keep them long. She didn’t understand that at all and did the complete opposite. She chopped off my entire nail on every finger then said they were too short for designs. They were LONGER FIVE SECONDS AGO? Before you CHOPPED THEM OFF? Never going back there!

Dont bother going here. The staff is never super friendly. You have to wait forever even with an appointment. I think they overbook just so they can keep your business. Last time I went, my nails looked terrible. Last time I will go there.

This is the best nail salon ever, Vivi, my nail tech gets it done right the first time everytime. You dont have to wait long if at all when you go in. Even on their busiest days its a great experience!!!!

My technician was so sleepy he had to take a break for coffee and a snack, then came back and made my cuticles bleed while cutting them. He also had to be shown how to use the polish I wanted. It took twice as long as it shouldve, and I was offered no discount for the bloody cuticles and extended time. I have been going here regularly, but may reconsider after this experience.

Went to get sns and the guy who was doing my nails probably finished in about 15-20 minutes. It was the fastest I have ever had sns done. I chose a white/cream color and when I stepped outside into real light my nails look like the color of pepto bismol. I called them to see if I can come in the following day to get the color fixed as I specifically asked the guy doing my nails that I wanted a light cream for a wedding I was in and he said this one would be that color. Boy was he wrong! The guy on the phone then tells me that I will have to pay to get color fixed because they have to take the other color off, are you serious!! I had heard a lot of not so great reviews from others about this place but wanted to give it a try myself.... yeah I will never do that again. I highly do NOT recommend..

SO DISAPPOINTED. My mom and I went for a pedi. My mom has a disability and the woman asked what was wrong with her feet and then was not pleasant. I will NOT be going back there. The way my mom was treated made her feel even more self conscious. I will not ever subject my mom to that type of disrespect again. Is there a rating of less than 1 star?!

Some of the Techs are really nice and friendly... But some are definitely not!

They women who did my toes left a Black hair in my toe polish! She was very rude and didn’t take it off. While I was about to leave the owner came over and fixed it. Very dissatisfied. Nice owner but the nail lady was a joke.

Honestly really just unhappy with the final product of my full set of acrylics. They are crooked and the tips of them are almost rigid because she was trying to go so fast. Pretty mad that I paid and tipped the lady to get under average nails. Just go somewhere else seriously.

The nail tech did a good job on my nails but took a little too much off my nails when I told him to just take the tips off. Oh well, they will grow back. But me and my friend had a appointment and they was so crowded she had to tell them of our appointment. Without a appointment Id hate to think how long we would have to wait. Dislike the crowd that had to wait w/out an appointment.

I’m a licensed cosmetologist and no one should ever go to this nail salon. Half of the employees are not licensed and the brushes that are not sanitized and the drilling on the nail plate is illegal. I got a full set of acrylics the woman who did my nails not only messed up my nails but also cut me. My nails were uneven and half of them were different shapes. I tried telling the woman that I didn’t like the shape or design but she wouldn’t listen to me and made my nails worse.I told an employee that I didnt like my nails because they were clearly not done properly. One of the owners attempted to fix my nails but they were still not even close to the shape and style that I wanted. The other owner told me that I was wasting there time because I didn’t tell the lady that I disliked them even though I had attempted to tell the girl I didn’t like them. This was very unprofessional and they still charged me full price for nails I never asked for and a cut finger.

I’ve had great experiences in the past. However, this time was the worst experience. I went in to get my acrylic nails removed. In my mind a removal is a soak off process with acetone. This was NOT the case, the man clipped down the acrylic, used one of the plastic nail tips to scrape underneath the acrylic and my natural nail, and used what looked like a cuticle clipper to break off pieces of the acrylic. Now the man did say that I could stop him if it got too painful, I didn’t because I didn’t want to be that customer. I figured he knew what he was doing. I should have stopped him. One nail started bleeding and another he broke a piece of my nail that wasn’t completely off so it was stabbing into my nail bed. Another woman took over to finish my nails for me and at this point my nails are even more fragile then when I walked into the place. I appreciate her trying to correct my nails she was kindly enough to glue my nail back together. This process was so painful, regardless if a person has healthy nails or fragile ones like me this removal process wouldn’t be comfortable for anyone. I would STRONGLY recommend that this place look into a more efficient and painless way of removing acrylic nails. I was much better off buying acetone and doing it myself at home.

My mother bought me a gift card here for me to be able to get a Mani pedi. I went in and took one of their brochures as their English is non existent so I could explain what I would like. They did not try to make conversation complained as they were doing my pedi and burnt my feet with the towel they put on. I didnt Whenget the manicure I just wanted out of there. I got to the front they tried to over charge me $15. and said it was because I received gel nail polish. No... they got the amount listed in their brochure and I showed them it is covered in the pedicure. So I paid the amount listed in the pamphlet and did not tip because they didnt earn it, a little respect for the People you service would go a long way and stop over charging. Dont waste your money go some other place, I will never go back period.
