I have been circling around opening a fitness related business for a long time. Took me a while to research and compare, and finally I took a leap of faith to go with FBBC. Starting your own business is not easy, period. So if you think this means you don’t have to do hard work, then this is probably not for you. I am still preparing to open so I can’t give you a success story just yet (but when I do I will be sure to update), but I wanted to enter a franchise that provides abundant level of support for the franchisees. There’s actually a lot of tools and resources that I think I probably haven’t even fully utilize yet. Still so much to learn but I’m making steady progress and happy to get constant guidance and support from HQ. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

I am a new FBBC owner, not even open yet. I spent a lot of time researching gyms before deciding on Fit Body. However, I still had some apprehension-wondering if I had made the right decision. But from the very start, after signing my agreement, the team at HQ has been phenomenal! They paired me with a coach at HQ, Lucky, to help me get set up and he has been so helpful throughout this process. I’m incredibly grateful for him and his direction as I navigate these beginning stages. I also already have a CAP coach, CJ, to help guide me through running my business. He is available for any questions or guidance I need now or in the future. He’s also an owner so he understands it from a personal level.I decided to attend an Elite training even though I’m still a few months from opening. I want to learn as much as possible, and be as prepared as possible, for when I do open. The experience was so much more than what I had hoped for or expected. Not only did I learn a ton of valuable information, I met so many incredible owners, coaches and members of HQ that offered true, genuine support and practical knowledge based off of their experiences at their locations. That was probably the best part of the training for me…getting to know some of the people in Fit Body and realizing what a huge, supportive network this is…I am 100 percent sure that I’ve made the right choice and I can’t wait to get my doors open!

Its hard to sum up in a short online review how being a part of this franchise has changed my life, but Ill try. Im one of the original Fit Body owners (Portland FBBC!) and have been a part of this brand and culture for over 10 years. I came into Fit Body with zero business experience, just a lot of passion for helping positively impact lives through fitness. 10 years later I have a thriving business (Covid not withstanding) that has supported me and allowed me to live a great lifestyle, allowed me to employ fabulous staff and contribute to their growth, and allowed me to reach thousands of people in the Portland metro and change so many lives through fitness.Having been a part of the brand for so long, its been amazing to me to watch how much has changed - for the better - over the years. Im giving FBBC HQ five stars, mainly because the people that Ive been in contact with have always gone out of their way to help me. If youre looking to buy a franchise, or any business for that matter, please know that this will be the hardest thing youll ever do. Not all is sunshine and rainbows here. That said, the tools ARE here to be successful. It will take a ton of time, energy, effort, and help from mentors/coaches. I had the privilege of meeting with the HQ team for the FBBC Elite training, and I am SO grateful for the opportunity!! It was an amazing 3 days with an incredible amount of useful information to make our facilities the best they can be! Bryce, Barrett and Bedros presented material in a clear and concise manner, and were extremely helpful in answering questions, providing feedback and requesting feedback as well. It was the perfect mixture of content delivery and application through group exercises with other owners, facility leaders and coaches. The opportunity to interact with and learn from other facilities was a priceless experience as well! Jamie did an amazing job with organizing the event, and I would love to return to another training in the future. Overall, I left feeling empowered, with new relationships formed with other FBBC leaders, and with the conviction that through FBBC I am helping to make a positive impact on others.

FBBC Fort WorthI am so thankful for finding this group. I needed a change because I was not motivated or pushing myself at my old gym that I have been a member for years. As I am getting older, I need to keep strong, and that means more than just walking. This team of coaches and other Fit Body Family is what I needed!!! Since joining, I can feel and see the difference. What I love best is no matter what the exercise is, there is a way to modify to fit your level. Hands down the best Franchise/Team! I have been a Franchisee for nearly 6 years and have watched FBBC grow into the legacy that is has become. Year after year the team grows and evolves. During all of this craziness with Covid, most Franchisors were just turning off their phones and hiding under their desk...Not FBBC. Totally Dishonest company. Corporate greed and no integrity.Main goal is to make money and total disregard for honesty and compliance.

Lack communication, they do not turn emails. very disappointing that corporate does not respond to unhappy client.

Allow me to share how the FBBC corporate franchise sale team treats disabled military veterans.I started their franchise approval process and was “approved” by the compliance and operations department and then was passed on to the sales team. Everything was going fine until my sales guy found out I was a vet (vets receive 25% off franchise dues, thus a smaller commission for him). After that, he began only marginally answering my questions during my due diligence time period and knowing he was getting less of a commission, then attempted to sell me multiple territories.When I didn’t jump on things right away, he then began to lie to me (yes, I have written proof he lied to me) and became very evasive in answering any questions and began questioning my commitment to the brand. This same sales guy promised to include some things for me, and later recanted on those promises. Then the Vice President of the company got looped in and he was nice to begin with, however when I brought to his attention that one of his sales people was lying to prospective franchisees, he then told me that FBBC wasn’t a good fit for me and that they’d be doing me a disservice by allowing me to come on board. When I attempted to get some clarification, I suddenly stopped getting responses from anyone at corporate; mind you prior to this I couldn’t go a day without my sales guy calling, texting or e-mailing me.While Bedros is a solid guy, the entire franchise sales side of the company is shady and pushes high-pressure sales only and does not have prospective franchisee’s best interests in mind. If you would like more details, feel free to PM me and I’ll be more than happy to share my experience with them.*********Edit 12/20/18In response to Bedros reply: Bedros - I reached out to you several times personally as I didnt feel you were getting the whole story. I know this, because Bryce never even spoke to me on the phone. I sent you a text message, an email and a FB message - all of which were ignored.There is nothing untrue about my review. I was lied to and promised things which one of your salesman withdrew as we got further in the process. And my comment about being gruff was centered around one conversation, on one day and is certainly not reflective of me as whole the other 364 days/year. I would think that you can appreciate that people have off days every now and again and the Friday in question was a very off day for me for many reasons unrelated to FBBC. Had you chosen to respond to any of my reachouts to explain what was going on, you would have learned who I really am and what I was experiencing from your sales team. Despite the fact that I was having an off day, that was the day I was lied to by your salesman which had nothing to do with the quality of my day.I had no intention of taking any of this public, however after a week of no response from anyone in your office, I felt it only fair to share an honest review of your sales team for potential franchisees. Again - this isnt an attack on the FBBC brand or even you personally, but rather your sales team. Whether you want to believe it or not, I was treated differently by your sales team once it was learned I was a Vet. Im sure that you dont want to believe that, however it is true. While I know you proclaim to be a supporter of veterans, that ideation doesnt trickle down to members of your staff in the application of business values you speak of.There is nothing dishonest or untrue about anything I said above. My offer stands if you would like to know the truth about my process, youre more than welcome to call me as I tried reaching out to you; my only ask is if you do, that you legitimately keep an open mind to the fact that what youre being told internally by your team may not be the whole truth.
