I have lived in Santa Barbara for almost two years, and I love it. The maintenance team, Carlos and Stephen, are professional and respond quickly with any concerns. There is guest parking always available. The night managers make their presence known in the community and are still open until the early morning for any issues. The community here is filled with many families, and everyone is very respectful and friendly with each other. We have a vast pet community too. I love seeing all of the dogs getting walked in the morning. What I love the most about living here is that I feel like we are in our own home. I don’t feel like I’m a renter, and the unit’s are structured like townhouses. There isn’t an “apartment building” feeling here. We moved here to be closer to our jobs and were utterly new to the area, but I’m glad we settled here until we find us forever home. Thanks, Santa Barbara!
I am a current tenant and its been my second year here. We love this community. People are nice, managers are very responsive, grounds are clean, trash is taken out on time. People are friendly and respectful, most are families with kids although we have great amount of families without kids. Beautiful, resort style pool with Jacuzzi and lounge chairs, bbq are open for tenants, i also have to mention they keep pool very clean. Dog park is open as well as kids playground. There are rules for parking and if your car got towed, it shouldnt be a surprise because everything is in the lease agreement and you should park in the garage unless you have a permit to park outside. It is gated community and i dont see suspicious cars or suspicious activity. I feel very safe, we usually take walks after dinner and its absolutely safe to walk when its dark. Our mail is never stolen. I seriously, dont understand bad reviews, its a great place to live.
Very similar to the projects all you hear is children crying, drunk drivers everywhere and meth lab busts. We cant even use are amenities and they have the audacity to still charges full price. They charged me for a car washing service that has been closed for months. Do yourself a favor and run the other way. Even 3.8 stars is a high ratingfor the service they provide I wonder who they are paying for the five stars yet still this so-called luxury community has more people moving out then movingand cant even achieve five stars when they are paying numerous agencies and people for ratings keep that in mind.
Stephen and Carlos are very helpful and answered all my questions with the upmost respect and honest answers!
Very Rude and unprofessional the office staff Neds training on customer service
Due to the relocation of my job, I have to leave this apartment. I have to say I hate SB at Chino Hills because it sets the bar too high for my future living experience. I was new to this area and found this place purely by luck. I really could not find a thing that I am not satisfied with. The apartment amenities, interiors are new and well-maintained. If anything breaks, Stephen responds very quickly. Garage is easily accessed from the room. Plus, I really enjoy the vibe with nice neighbours and a high school just behind the apartment, where I could watch a soccer match from the balcony. In any event, I really recommend this place to anyone who work or go to school in Chino Hills. I will miss this place!PS I found that most of the one-start review comes from people who did not actually live here (etc. people who had a bad tour experience). People who lived here love this place.
Just called to inquiries about availability. A lady answered I said “good morning how are you”. The lady hung up on me. I called again twice right after and my call was sent to voice mail. Way to treat potential renters.
Visited some friends there the place is a family, pet friendly complex. They have an on site cleaning & repair crew. Well maintained especially for the size it is 👍🏻
Best service
Very nice apartment homes. The staff is kind & proficient. There are many amenities here.Big thanks to Raad & Chelsea who both helped with the smooth process of becoming a resident here. Looking forward to what the future holds here 🙂
I have lived in two other Lewis properties, each bigger than the prior to accommodate our growing family, and this one lives up to the quality, hospitality, and luxury we have come to expect. We have 4 children and love their design and family friendly atmosphere. We are very busy and find this living style to be very convenient. Like living at a resort! Did I mention the high quality gym? I cancelled my 24 hour fitness membership. Raad, Sabrina, and Chelsea are wonderful. We move in soon and we are so elated!
Chelsea was great! Very professional. Thank you again for all your help it was a pleasant experience, the group and I greatly appreciated your enthusiasm and attention to details. It was a welcoming and informative experience, and shout out to Raad as well!Update- We love it here!!
Chelsea was very Professional and overall Helpful when I first arrived! She explained everything so well felt like I was talking to a Friend she made me feel very comfortable asking many questions I needed to know to find the right layout and what was best for me. I leased on my first visit Beautiful Property I cant wait to Move in !
We moved in over the weekend and absolutely love this property. Josh and Raad in the leasing office went above and beyond to make the move in process a breeze and to help make us feel at home. The property itself outdid itself! The pool is beautiful as well as the other amenities- we look forward to enjoying all of this more once the dreaded boxes are unpacked!
We had a very bad experience with Chelsea, the leasing manager at this property. When we walked in, she was the only one working, so we had to wait, which was not a problem at all. Once she helped us and asked us our move in date, we told her January and she said that they wont have room for us then. So I guess she didnt want our business? Then, as we are walking out the front door to go look at the models, someone was walking in and she told them that she would be back in 5 minutes. Which didnt give us long to tour two model homes. So we go into the model homes and she is on her phone the whole time, and not giving us a tour or conversing with us. As we finish the very short, rushed tour, we go back into the office area, and she does not give us any information on pricing or when we could move in. Chelsea was not professional at all, especially for being a manager at this property. The homes were beautiful, but I would not give this property my business because I do not want to live in a place that treats their potential residents so poorly. Such a bad experience with an unprofessional, rude person. Would not recommend.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this management company. Lewis management will nickel and dime you for everything.Sabrina. The community manager is worthless. You, as the over paying customer, are never right. They will never try to make changes to better suit the residents of the complex, instead they come up with excuses for EVERYTHING.
Chelsea and the entire leasing staff (Sabrina & Raad) have gone above and beyond to meet my expectations. The townhouses and the property are very beautiful. I cant wait to move there in August and I will continue to refer my colleagues to this property.
I want to personally recognize Sam, the female in the maintenance department. She is always professional, kind, and goes over and above to provide guidance and assistance. What an asset to the Lewis Community!
Im moving out of this overpriced, poorly managed community. By the way, when Sabrina responds by asking you to call her...that is in no way because she gives a rats a$$. Its all smoke and mirrors. All she wants to do is tell you how wrong you are...and that you misunderstood...My lease is up on 7/19/2019...and Im fleeing from this place on the same day. Go ahead...take your chances...theyll razzle dazzle you with all the wonderful things that they will lie to you about. The bottom line is this: You can rent somewhere FAR less expensive in Chino Hills.I realize the grass isnt greener on the other side of the fence. However, the grass is greener farther away from a cesspool...which is SBCH.Oh...and its okay for 2-3 families to rent an apartment, illegally I might add, but dont you DARE park even one night outside your garage. The nightly cruise patrol doesnt care about crime...they just get so much enjoyment placing nastygrams on your vehicle...even though you have the resident sticker. My new place may be older...but at least I can park anywhere I want even though I have a two car garage. And my guests dont have to jump through hoops to visit me.Good riddance SBCH!!!!
This place is awesome. It’s like living at a resort. If you are looking to lease a brand new townhouse go see Raad, he is one of the coolest people there!!!
Ive gotten my car towed TWICE and paid $400 to get it out 2 times even when my name is on the lease. Worst parking situation ive ever encountered.
THE LEASING MANAGER CHELSEA WAS GREAT VERY POLITE... I HONESTLY THINK SHE WAS THE BEST IVE WORKED WITH OUT OF ALL THE LEASING PEOPE IVE DEALT WITH LOL. VERY SWEET, AND PROFESSIONAL. DIDNT FORCE ME INTO NOTHING I WANTED TO DO. GREAT JOB! WOULD RECOMAND PEOPLE TO DEAL DIRECTLY WITH HER...
This was our first Lewis Properties Luxury home as my roommates, and I came from different parts of the US, from as far as Northern Virginia near Washington D.C., Newport - Kentucky, and San Antonio - Texas. We were looking for houses to rent first before coming upon Santa Barbara Town-homes. We were pretty much defeated at this point in our search but as when we entered the leasing office we were warmly greeted by Chelsea Weaver, the leasing manager. We were very fortunate to have met her after looking everywhere to call home. We instantly loved the style of the townhouse-style apartments they were close to an actual house we had hoped for. The property its self is nothing like I’m used to as its luxury like a resort, which was very odd to me although was logical. We shared with Chelsea what we were looking for, and she presented a unit with three (3) rooms, and enough space to accommodate the three (3) vehicles we had. She even expressed that we could technically fit four (4) cars, which was thoughtful! After the tour we loved it but it was a bit out of our price range, and we ended choosing Chino Crossings. We regret making that mistake as Chino Crossings appeared as nice but was only as skin deep. Their leasing manager whom I’ve called ‘Bubbles’ continued to disappoint us at every turn. When finally, we got fed up as we were jumping from Airbnbs to another when Santa Barbara saved us. We asked Chelsea if they still had availability. We were very lucky that she was able to take us in with the short amount of time as possible. The large unit we originally saw we no longer needed, and she showed us two other models which were another three (3) bedrooms and a two (2) bedrooms. We ended up choosing the one that was the perfect compromise between the largest and the smallest units. We were extremely fortunate to have Chelsea help us in finding our home, and she made the process stress free, and smooth as possible.About a couple of months living here after it had allowed us ample time to absorb our new surroundings. From sitting in my balcony looking over the street and other buildings nearly completed as construction ending. To the ground’s maintenance teams making sure every detail of the landscape is perfectly trimmed. To the upkeep of the visual presentation of the streets, sidewalks, and building’s surfaces to look as pristine as possible. To observing the security teams making their rounds at all parts throughout the day, and how the management continues to uphold their quality beyond our first impressions. We originally signed for twelve (12) months but now it’s possible we may stay here for much longer! Also, I’ve given Chelsea a nickname and it suits her well, as “Miss AMAZING”. As she is! She’s professional! and kind and the service that she gave us didn’t end after we signed the lease. She has continued to answer all of our questions and aided us with anything else that we required. If anyone who is looking for a great place for a home Santa Barbara was the best that we saw and especially with her top notch service. We owe it all to Miss Amazing and I’d recommend her to be the person to help you! Thank you, Chelsea & Santa Barbara team.
