I have rented trucks from other U-Haul locations in the past, but the U-Haul location on Memorial Drive in Chicopee Massachusetts was the best experience. The gentleman at the call center put a reservation on the cargo van I needed. The day I went to get the vehicle, the gentleman at the desk took care of the formal rental paperwork in a couple of minutes and I was out of there. Extremely polite and courteous! When I returned the vehicle I dropped it off with the person who receives the vehicles on return. He was very polite and said an email will be sent with the statement and I was allset and nothing else I needed to do. Great experience!! If you need a truck or van rental to haul stuff, check them out!
Shout to Chicopee uhaul and their INCREDIBLE service. I had a small issue that not only was resolved but the attendant went out of his way to confirm I was taken care of. I really appreciate the help and the professionalism. Jon Cotto, youve got a great team leader at your store :)
Went to this UHAUL store to have a wiring harness checked out that didnt work. The manager checked it out and discovered the unit was no good. He didnt charge me at all and was very polite and helpful.
Pretty standard U-Haul experience here. Workers dont seem to love their lives but they were also not rude. Definitely on their phones almost the entire time when there were lines. When I was finally seen the process was pretty quick. It would be nice if they had a way when customers request a moving truck online for it to be available to them when they show up in store quicker, but I guess technology isnt at that point yet. Got what I needed and it was overall a fine experience. They also sell boxes and any kind of moving supplies you can imagine. Can you really be blown away at a U-Haul location though?
Friendly on the phone but unreliable service when attempting to get a trailer hitch installed. Booked appointment, they cancelled then said they would get back to me to reschedule and never did. Tried to get a hold of them two additional times to reschedule and no luck. Ended up ordering the hitch myself online and doing the install.
Purchased and scheduled hitch installation at this location at least 7 days ahead. Got to location and was told we don’t do these on Sundays. Clerk said manager is coming in to do it and another one that was also scheduled for a Sunday. Waited more than 2 hours. He never showed up. Never called. No apologies for wasting our time, we were treated badly in store and on phone. Terrible location. Why didn’t they call when we bought it and say “ the website shouldn’t have scheduled you for a Sunday? Why have us come and our waste time and money?
Joey was great very helpful I appreciate his help on leaving this unit I finally got my apartment and Ive had this unit for nearly a year I recommend it to anyone and everyone‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
I hope someone from corporate sees this, you have my information in your system if you wanna contact me. Very disappointed in my service at this location, first of all the attitude from employees is the first downfall of this location, also I was suppose to be in New Hampshire at a certain time to pick up a car and my RESERVED truck and car transporter were apparently not returned by the previous user so I got put behind an hour and a half. Was thankfully sent to West Springfield where the owner Chris was very helpful and did his best to make my experience better. Also I dropped off the truck and trailer in Chicopee, you guys need to make the drop box more obvious because we couldn’t find it. A little slot on the garage door isn’t very obvious with a tiny sign. Will definitely be going to West Springfield if I ever have to use UHaul in the future. Chicopee is a joke.

I received amazing customer service at this location!! I worked with Jaron in store and spoke to the manager Kyle. The employees there have a great sense of humor and made the experience a great one. There was a miscommunication from another location, but thankfully the manager was amazing and was able to help resolve the issue even though he was not present at the time. I would give more than 5 stars if possible. It’s so nice to know that there are still people out there that will stop at nothing to make sure their customer is happy before they leave the store. They stopped at nothing to make sure I was getting exactly what I asked for. I would recommend this location to anyone needing to rent a truck or storage! Will be going back to this location when I move again in the next couple weeks.
We reserved a 26 ft truck weeks,ago. When we got there, there was no truck. They were not helpful. They wouldnt waive,anything for us, not the deposit nor gas mileage. We are very frustrated because they werent willing on doing anything. It was very inconvenient. Dont waste your time reserving a truck because it doesnt mean you are actually going to get it.

Made an appointment to have a trailer hitch installed. When I dropped it off, it was clear there was some chaos going on and they said, It is going to take more than an hour. I said, Thats fine, Ill be sitting at Dunkin Donuts across the street. After over two hours of sipping coffee, no one had called me. I walked back over. My van was in the exact same spot - no hitch. When I went in, the guy was totally unapologetic and borderline rude and just said, Yeah, well, a guy quit today so what do you want me to do? I said, How about call me to let me know?I know that stuff happens, but I couldnt believe the lack of any consideration for the customer and my time in this ordeal. I took half a morning off work for nothing. If they had just told me, Sorry, we are short-staffed today, I would have been totally understanding and just rescheduled. Instead, they let me sit in a coffee shop all morning and then acted like it was my fault. Horrible & completely avoidable experience. I would not recommend this Uhual location to anyone.
Folks were super helpful here in renting us a pickup truck and a trailer to get a new riding lawn mower home from the store! All done in the same day! Thanks guys!
Staff not well trained. Billing error when I downsized my unit. Quoted wrong price on new unit. No answer from management on fixing error for two days now. Now looking elsewhere. Terrible.
Expecting a pickup for a Chicopee to New York move. Informed day prior that I would need to go as far as Pittsfield to get eqiupment, which is 2 hours round trip. No assistance or attempt made to alleviate the issue. I canceled reservation and went with Budget.
Friendly staff. Hooked up and when I got back un hooked trailer. Final bill comes via email... easy!
I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody . For one I booked a truck online and I went to get it there was no stuff to speak to. I stood there for a while finally someone came from the back with an attitude like she hates her day for being there .soon as I drove the truck down the road it very loud and squeaking not safe to drive at all, I called them and they told them to return for a swamp but they disregard the whole hassle and headach they gave and chargered for all mileages that I drove from first truck . Considering I called their GM and promised me he ll get their situation straightened out but never did .neverever going back to that location . Very poor customer service and ridiculous management.
Terrible service! The phones are never answered and a majority of the employees there have a piss poor attitude. The manager, John being the worst of the bunch. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

On one visit I waited for 45 minutes for propane while they helped customers who arrived after me, on another I was told propane closed early (I arrived 15 minutes prior to closing) even though I had received propane 5 minutes before closing just a few days earlier. The staff here, with one or 2 exceptions, are rude and have horrible customer service.
