After loosing some teeth from a seizure, my visits to dental offices in search of treatment and a Dentist that understood my needs, were horrible. What made these visits horrible were that once you walked through their doors, you were treated just like the insurance you carried. Lastly, they judged you harshly for your history and the care you gave to your mouth. But not Baystate Dental!!!! They were the first practice who gave me hope in getting my smile back. They understood and respected my needs and treated me like a human and patient. The staff works as a team and they make you feel part of that team when it comes to your care. They give you options if theres not an answer to a problem, but they make sure youre satisfaction comes first. I recommend Baystate Dental to anyone who wishes to smile again.

Five stars for this office! The staff is amazing! I’ve had 3 procedures done so far. Two wisdom teeth removed, and one root canal. They saved my tooth which I’m SO grateful for. My dentist is so sweet, she makes sure I’m in no pain at all times and she does her job well, along with her assistant. I am so happy with the results from the root canal. Again, I didn’t feel a thing and it looks GREAT!! I’m going to back to get a crown placed on the tooth to protect the work she just did, and I can’t wait.The front desk employees are also so nice, patient and kind. That goes along way. I’ve been to multiple dentists offices throughout my life, and this has been the best one by far. They are honest about all my treatment plans and they want to help. Grateful o choose them! 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

From start to finish Baystate Dental was amazing! Called Monday at 4pm about wisdom teeth and by 1pm on Tuesday they were both out with minimal pain! Technology was top notch. Environment was super clean and Covid safe. Communication was perfect. Everyone was so professional, nice and accommodating! Feel so lucky to have found them after my lifetime dentist retired! Highly recommend!

Every time I have gone to the Baystate Dental of Chicopee, the entire staff is so pleasant and helpful. I also need to say I am one of the people who dislike dentist, but this dental office has made me change my mind about dentists now. I would highly recommend this dental office.

Every single appointment I have scheduled has had to be rescheduled within days of my making the appointment, the office staff scheduled me for a consultation that apparently you need to pay half up front to even make the appointment which I only learned after I had initially made the appointment and was notified that I needed to reschedule. The dental staff and hygienists are lovely and kind, however the office staff seems unorganized and they dont seem like any of them are on the same page about anything. If you have a free open schedule, I would recommend this office, but youll never have your appointment the day its actually initially scheduled for.

I am Not happy at all.I went 2 times to get my teeth out after thinking that they either scheduled me an appointment or referred and sent the right information.Then, 1 of the receptionist doesnt listen,and the first time I called thereTold me if I dont show up, I could never go there again!With her blunt, Rude, miscommunicationi would not want to.Reception are is too smallalso.Dentist and assistant were nice,though.They sent it to a referral to a totally different office .I really didnt want teeth out yet anyway.I got courage up to get them out. Its very frustrating!

I needed to make an emergency appointment. Although I was anew patient they gave me the soonest they had. the next morning I got a phone call to let me know that they could take me sooner. Once I got there they had me in the office within minutes. I was made totally comfortable and the doctor explained everything that he was going to do. I would absolutely recommend Baystate Dental of Chicopee to anyone.

I used to have a big fear of dentists and that has all changed since I started going to Baystate Dental. The staff is kind and listened to my fears and was able to work with me to feel comfortable. The things I used to be terrified to have done in my mouth I now feel confident and comfortable to have them done (IE: Root canal and placing a cap). I have also started flossing daily and seen REAL progress thanks to the support and encouragement of their staff. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I was very nervous as I had been going to the same dentist practice for over 60 years. You get used to a practice and it is very hard to change. Insurance nowadays makes decisions for you. I was very pleased with the entire staff from the receptionists to the doctor. I am very happy I choose this location.

Best place to have your teeth cleaned. Theres something soothing about feeling the water flosser cleaning around the gums. I would post a photo but it would look like shark week on the discover channel.

The office staff are so rude, I called out of work for an appointment that was never even made. When I got there they made it seem like I was lying about the appointment and then finally told me I could reschedule once they “found it”. I wouldn’t have even left a review if the staff wasn’t completely horrible, I get that stuff happens, but you can’t treat patients so badly and expect to run a successful business

I recently went to this office for a cleaning. Now I am going to compare the cleaning I received here to the ones I previously received from my old hygienist before I moved. My prior hygienist scheduled me for an hour for a cleaning. She really took her time and cleaned my teeth really good getting down below the gum line. She would then check me for any signs of oral cancer. When she was done, she would go over everything she saw and give me any suggestions she thought was needed and then I would leave with a new toothbrush and paste. At Baystate, my appointment was a half hour. The hygienist barley even touched my gums never going below the gum line to scrape. She never checked me for any signs of oral cancer and was done cleaning my teeth in 20 minutes. I had to ask her 2 times how everything looked and she responded good. No new toothbrush or paste given to me. I give them 2 stars only because they were friendly. You be the judge.

Went here for my first time today and I was very impressed with both the atmosphere and service. The waiting room was very clean and the staff are friendly, explain things thoroughly and make you feel comfortable. The entire office was immaculate and the exam itself was quite pleasant. They are considerate about your comfort and want to make sure you understand everything before you make any decisions. I would highly recommend this place.

Best dentist. Had toothache and the girls got me in same day. I had bad tooth and he fixed it same day. No more pain. Very happy and highly recommend the office. Front desk to doctor and everyone very nice and welcoming.

Went there on Wednesday September 14 for most of my teeth out and Dr Belok was great I had laughing gas that made me relaxed. The procedure went good and pretty much painless and Im on my second day and have no pain. Thank you Baystate.

The staff & doctors work well together to ensure your needs are taken care of and your cost are explained up front. The skills of the doctor I have been seeing is exceptional, given her young age; this does not interfere with her skills, talents, and abilities. What I like about Baystate Dental is the fact they do it all, root canals, general dentistry, crowns etc. In the past I would have to go to one dental office for root canals, another for extraction(s) and a third for general dentistry. This is a one stop shopping for great dental care!

My daughter had to have her first dental prodcedure done today and it was an amazing experience for her. What could have been a scary experience was handled in such a caring and professional way. Dr. Almaawi and his assistant were so gentle and caring and quickly put her mind at ease. ❤️

Ive been using their services for the past 10 years if not longer. They seem to do a good job on my teeth. However recently the past two years or so the quality of customer service has gone down especially at the front desk. Im starting to feel like a client of bigger and bigger corporation instead of a patient.

After my initial exam my dentist reassured me that therewasnt anything worrisome to consider. A month after my sons first dental visit the office decides to bill me for the services rendered on that date service stating that he “wasn’t active with his plan “ (when he indeed was) but even then I called the insurance company myself to confirm, and they told me a claim wasn’t never submitted to begin with! Hmm, so when I called the office to inform the manager Donna of the situation at hand, she was very sarcastic and VERY disrespectful to say the least ! I’m not sure who and why they made her a manger BUT the least she could’ve done was apologize for the inconvenience because if the front desk would’ve did there job correctly I wouldn’t of had a bill sent to my house to begin with. When I asked her why my son was even seen if he “ wasn’t indeed active “ she stated well the insurance portal was down that day so they took the risk of hoping they would get paid after sending the claims because they had no way of verifying. OKAY DONNA, so how is this MY PROBLEM? If that were supposedly true. Your office failed to notify me of these “ technical difficulties “ during my visit and you sure as hell didn’t tell me after my visit but you send a bill a month later ? You could’ve at least called to verify the information in your system was indeed accurate before billing “if the systems were indeed down that day as you claim” but you failed to even do that. I don’t know what kind of business your running here but it’s lousy!

Dr. Almaawi and his team are outstanding! Dr Almaawi is an incredibly kind, compassionate and skilled dentist. I recently had a pretty complicated procedure completed, replacing a bridge with three implants and Dr Almaawi and his team went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable every step of the process. Dr. Almaawi took great care in explaining each step of each procedure - he is a perfectionist in all the right ways! I can’t say enough about the dental assistants, Zulu and Juan who provided professional and compassionate chair side care. This is a great dental office. They offer a variety of services and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get called in. The staff is very polite. I had a tooth pulled by Dr. Haluch last year and had a lot of anxiety about it and he made is a very unstressful experience for me. Their hygienists that do the cleanings are always very thorough and helpful too and checking out is a snap.

I had a serious fear of dentists from a traumatic experience as a kid. These folks took the time to understand my situation, and set me at ease before doing anything. Their chairside manner is excellent.They extracted 4 teeth that were in bad shape without issue, and made sure I was comfortable for the recovery. I am looking forward to getting the rest of them taken care of.

Nothing about my visit went smoothly. Rude office staff,. didnt have my appointment scheduled, hurried and frustrated dentist, didnt have change for cash payment... Really? They used to be okay, but now the business is falling apart. Definitely think twice about using this practice. Me? Never again.

Fantastic dental experience! I hadn’t been to the dentist since high school (10 years ago) so I was incredibly nervous about it. My hygienist was an absolute delight. In her words, a complete judgement free zone! She was informative, and helped explain everything she was doing in a way I could understand. I will be getting my wisdom teeth out in January and I’m not worried because I know I’m in good hands. Im looking forward to my next cleaning!

My first few visits were fine, but back in November I had a filling and after experienced a lot of pain chewing and even drinking water, when I called to inquire with the office it took them nearly two weeks to call me back.More recently I was in the office for another filling, when I left the office I had an incredibly swollen face that the dentist questioned but then quickly noted it was likely just the novocain. When I woke up the next day I had a severely bruised and very swollen cheek/jaw. I called immediately and left a message on their answering machine during office hours. That was nearly a week ago. The swelling took a few days but its finally down and my face is still bruised and in pain. I will not be going back.

Best dentist and best assistance. I had three fillings today and I didnt feel a thing. They are very professional and friendly.

Let me tell you of my experience with Baystate Dental (BS Dental). LAST year I had some dental work. I planned ahead since I knew my insurance covered the procedures. I confirmed with my carrier and even confirmed with bs dental despite bs dental saying that the cost was only an”estimate”. I’m a plan administrator for my insurance so I could recite every bit of coverage for my plans, there’s no way I was wrong. After calling ahead of my appointment to make sure the coverage was all set, I was assured by their staff. Tell me why they wouldn’t let me finish my procedure without paying at least $350. Their reason: we haven’t received payment from your insurance yet. I complained because I went in knowing I didn’t have to pay anything. I asked the receptionist, how do you administer a refund for when my insurance pays. She assured me it was quick and easy. So then I called my insurance carrier AFTER numerous calls about my refund. Come to find out, my insurance ALREADY paid bs dental. They even reviewed what procedures they were paying for. I hang up and call BS Dental where they denied being paid. I even got a bill in the mail from them after getting my summary of benefits from my insurance clearly stating they paid. After so many calls and arguments, they finally acknowledged that they did get paid and I would receive a refund. After ANOTHER call, they finally START to process the refund. I was to expect the refund in the mail in 4 weeks. TWO MONTHS later, I called again! It’s still being processed and corporate is handling the claim. To top it off, they won’t give me their corporate contact number. #BaystateDental #WhatKindOfBusinessDoesThis #DoBetter

I had a great experience here at Bay State Dental in Chicopee -- I have used the Wilbraham office as well and also received excellent treatment.

Once you get your appt started its great. My only complaint is when you get confirmations stating the time of your appt only to find out that its actually the encouraged early time of arrival and not your actual appt time.

2 pairs of dentures 20 trips to baystate dental and 10 mounths i spent haveing then made just to have the dentist tell me to bad thay still dont fit after the 4th time sending them back you should take these dentures in the words of your own nurse they dont fit right at all this is just not good service. Although the nurses are great which is nice because thay do 95% of the work then a dentist comes in for 30s takes a look says 2 things and walks away beware if you are having dentures made unless you like wasting time and money if so this is the place for you

All went well with my first visit at the Chicopee office.My Tuesday visit for a broken tooth went well although the repair could not be done at that point. Luckily I was able to get an appt for the repair in three days because of a cancelation.

Unfair cancellation policy.They put you and keep you on a no appt list if you change or cancel your appt.Even though I was in pain, they would not let me make an appt.
