Maria was an absolute pleasure to work with here at Spherion after I had just moved to Paradise in the past month. They managed to find me an interview for work that was both accommodating for starting school in August, but also is located in Paradise so I can avoid the commute to Chico. I have never had such accommodating employment offered in such a short time period in the past ten years, especially since most of the places hiring right now are looking for long-term or full-time workers. Even if youre a student just looking for part-time / summer work, this place is absolutely worth checking out!

Excellent service working with Corwin and Maria. The staff here are outstanding, and offer a smooth onbard experience. Everyone here is so helpful. I appreciate them answering questions through text or call. Ive worked on two really great assignments. Spherion did awesome with pairing my abilities to the job assignment. currently on the second assignment. After the first assignment ended, Spherion immediately found me another job, that I love even more. My experience working with Spherion has been great. Went there without any real idea of what I was walking into,Who would have known a staffing agency that was actually considerate of where I lived compared to where I worked. What’s available. What shift works. They even helped me with the idea of multiple jobs unlike lots of staffing companies that are limited in work, hours or location.Very nice and professional. They met every need I could ask for and made me feel better about my options.I owe them Starbucks. That’s how good of service they have.

False advertising. Told to come on for Interview driving 30 miles only to find out the job was not available, and they just wanted me on their list. No interview, just ID verification and sign form.

Applied for a job and then was contacted by these head-hunters, trying to make a profit off of other peoples work. Do yourself a favor and dont work for these shady people-profiteers and go to the businesses yourself. A waste of time and a waste of money from a company operating out-of-state.And No, I dont like it when I apply for a job only to have my application sold to these people-traders. Yes, the employers pay you and then you pay the employees after taking your cut, dont try and be cute about it. And good for you and loving your job. How about having jobs worth applying for next time?

The short of it:The people make the company and Spherion has great people working for them. My experience was great. The process: Application, quick test, on-boarding paperwork done digitally, drug test then full time job.The longer version:I have been to other staffing agencies in the past and never had anything positive to say about them. I didnt like Rush in the least, very impersonal. Admittedly it has been a couple years since my last visit to Rush, but from that visit I wouldnt return.I was speaking with a friend whom asked me if I was looking for work, I told him I was and he told me to head over to Spherion, that they had some positions to fill. I was hesitant and a bit anxious from my prior experience with Rush. I didnt want to go there, but I needed to-so I did.The staff at Spherion were very friendly through the entire process. It was an easy no stress experience. I didnt call or have an appointment before I showed up in their Chico office. Hindsight, I probably should have at the least called them first. From what I have heard they stay pretty busy. I realize that I may have been lucky with being able to roll right on through from filling out the application to having a job in under an hour. I wont lie though, I am an exceptional human being.I filled out an application which took about five minutes then handed it in to the very nice lady in the front of the office. I watched a safety video and answered questions (took a test) based on that video. After passing the test I filled out some additional forms using one of their computers in the back. Everything from start to finish was very straight forward. Most employers test for elicit substances these days, no exception here. If you have a problem with testing then you have bigger problems and maybe you arent being honest with yourself. I was given a full time job immediately, told what hours I would be working, where I would be working and the rate of pay I would receive. I opted to be paid through a debit card that they provide. I was given a card that my weekly paycheck would be direct deposited onto that same day, s I expect no delay in getting paid.In closing, I dont understand why anyone would rate Spherion here in Chico with anything less than a 4-star rating.

The women there are very nice. They try their best to get you a job in a tough Market.

One of the worse staffed places ive ever been to, thats if their even open during buisness hours, one of the employees literally hid from me when i tried knocking on the locked door, there was no closed for lunch sign or anything of the sort. you can try calling, but they wont answer during buisness hours either, i had to call another office just to get the answers i needed. when i finally did get through to this office, and asked about my tax papers, the girl had rudly replied with I dont know, wait a few more days. i will never send anyone here.
