Lauren is seriously the most talented photographer I have ever met! She recently did photos of my 5-year old daughter and we had an absolutely fantastic experience. Not only did she have tons of great ideas and suggestions for the photoshoot ahead of time, but she knew exactly how to get the most perfect shots and keep my daughter energized and engaged throughout the entire session. She has so much energy and is a lot of fun to work with. She went out of her way to make sure we were completely satisfied and kept my daughter smiling the whole time. I would highly recommend her!!!

Booking Lauren Ashley Studios for our wedding was the best decision we made about our day - only after saying yes to each other of course :) Seriously, just book them, dont question it. You wont regret it! Lauren and Sam were beyond easy to work with - it was like hanging out with friends (with really, really nice photography equipment). Lauren was with me in the morning and Sam was with my husband and his groomsman. They both went above and beyond in multiple instances - Lauren brought a fur shawl just in case (it was a winter wedding) and Sam brought hand warmers (so perfect when we were wading around Lincoln Park). We did our first look at our house - which of course they perfectly staged and perfectly captured. After that we drove just north of downtown Chicago to Lincoln Park to get some outdoor photos before the sleet/rain came (something both Lauren and Sam were diligently tracking because they knew how badly we wanted outdoor photos) - at a beautiful location that Lauren scoped out prior. We were so excited to see where they picked at it was gorgeous. Our last stop was Union Station to catch some amazing shots there as well, it was so much more glamorous than I ever imagined we were possible of being. Finally - the main event - we ventured back to our house for our COVID safe, small, indoor ceremony. Lauren and Sam did such a great job capturing all of the special moments despite being cramped on space (cant grow a house no matter how badly you try!). We emphasized our desire for candid photos over staged and HOLY SMOKES did they deliver. Some of my most favorite shots are candid shots from our ceremony. We did catch some formals - definitely have a list ready folks because it goes by in a blur - and got photos during dinner and speeches - but best of all was the end of the night. Our family surprised us with an outdoor fireworks show and wedding send off, and it seemed only natural that we surprise them by moving our first dance outside to the middle of the street, in the middle of the most fluffy, beautiful snow youve ever seen. Lauren and Sam didnt miss a beat - running outside with all their gear and dishcloths to keep their cameras from getting overly wet. In the videos we have of those dances - you can hear both of their reactions to how awesome that experience was - it was like our joy for that day was theirs too. Planning (and replanning and replanning) a wedding during covid was a struggle to say the least and part of me was worried the day would feel like a bastardized version of what my husband and I wanted - but at the end of the day it was absolutely magical and completely perfect. I cant imagine anyone better suited to capture the emotion and pure joy of that day than Lauren and Sam and the rest of Lauren Ashley Studios.

I had a pop up event in Chicago and Lauren was recommended by a close friend. They were able to fit me in their schedule on short notice which was great! Ryan was also awesome onsite. He engaged with the guests and made sure I was happy with all the shots. The final product exceeded expectations as well. I am super happy with the entire experience and highly recommend them!

Lauren is so incredibly talented. The session didnt even feel like a photo shoot for the kids because they were laughing the whole time!She was very creative at helping us feel at ease and making the pictures feel less forced and more natural. We came across Lauren’s page from the knot and quickly decided to book after a phone call and looking through her gallery. She is very personable and had a lot of photo knowledge to share prior to us booking, which was very helpful. Lauren took our engagement photos and was AMAZING. I wont lie-photoshoots stress me out. Coordinating what to wear and getting out of the house only looking like semi-hot messes gets to every one of my mom nerves. I pray there isnt a meltdown or random wrestling match to the point that the photographer never wants to work with us again. My on-edge behavior is evident the whole shoot...except when we worked with Lauren. The second Lauren got us going, all of my stress and worry dissipated. She instantly made us all comfortable and went with the flow the whole time, making us feel totally relaxed. My boys instantly gravitated to her kindness and she knew just what they needed to get the shot done. She regularly obliged when they asked to see the shots they looked so handsome in and I cannot believe the number of amazing shots she got in just a 20 minute window! As if her Christmas set-up wasnt enough magic, I cannot WAIT to turn her work into some of the most beautiful Christmas cards!

Lauren is fantastic! I love her work and when she offered the mini red truck sessions I knew we had to take the opportunity to shoot with her. We drove 2 hours for our family session and we absolutely loved it! Lauren is so much fun, very sweet, and extremely talented!
