O/O beware this people are super shady and doing bad business I delivered a load for them thay paid my factoring Co. For a TNU load and thay are playing games with me sent them the paperwork now thay are not answering the phone stay far away from this company

I don’t know since when it’s been happening, but that just happened with me. A guy working in this company as a Dispathcer or something his name is “Ross” threatening us to come to my house this weekend because we 30 mins late on a load.I thought redwood is a respected company to work with but this kind of talking didn’t come from respectful people.I’m taking this as a serious threatening and moving forward with legal action.

I worked with Aron and Austin two times!The First time we booked a load from Cedar Rapids, IA - Oconomowoc, WI they rejected some freight at the receiver, they kept the freight in the trailer for 2 days and made us deliver to Wheeling, IL (130 miles more) and for all of this they paid only layover!Second hurt we have got when we booked two loads with Austin fromCedar Rapids, IA - Lockbourne, OH at the time we booked the loads the pick up appt were missed and we provide them with ETA 13 30 and 15 00 for both trucks!They said that is fine, lets book it, after we send the trucks to the shipper they told us they are not going to load us! We reported that to Austin and he told us hang tight I will get you loaded! 4 hours after we waited at the shipper they stopped answering the phones and emails and they did not pay a TONU for the trucks!THESE GUYS ARE LIARS !!!!

People have one bad experience with a broker and find it appropriate to leave one star. Id love to see someone name a brokerage as large as Redwood that has never had a load that did not go as planned. To give a single star review for a singular experience is ridiculous. Having known of Redwood Logistics for years, I have heard nothing but good things about them.

Redwood is a good company you just need a right person to work with,best option is Chicago office and ask for Lloyd. I been working with this guy for long time and never had any issues at all, pay me well on loads, any issues he will take care of it, I WOULD RECOMMENDED 100%..good luck!!

Booked a load. Broker said he would send the rate con. Took the rate that was advertised on the posting, did not ask for a penny more. 1 hour later, no rate con, not returning calls, not emailing back, nothing. There was a phone# and an email on the posting. The broker did not state his name during the phone call, but the email on the posting was of the employee called Jeffrey whose name is also mentioned several times in the negative reviews. He claims that the load was given to another carrier and that it was not him who spoke with me. Shady, unreliable, not sticking to their word. I would not be writing this review if the broker had the decency to tell us the truth that the load was given to another carrier. Funny thing is, we would have taken it for less money than they advertised, the whole thing was unnecessary.

Warning don’t ever work with them. They are three most unprofessional and rude people you would ever meet. First of all they won’t reply for your calls or emails and they put wrong extension number on rate confirmation so only they can contact u whenever they want but u can’t if u need too. Echoing similar sentiments, its kind of outrageous to offer a phone number for contacting this company when no one will answer the phone. I would have loved to test the claim for poor customer service but after two days of calling I have received NO service, rude or not.

Had a worse experience with them than with TQL. More precisely with the Louisville, KY office. Booked a load last Friday 02.12 first thing in the morning as a ready load with Dane Allyn. My guy lost the day at the shipper and they sent him home telling him the load will not be shipped. The worst part couldnt reach anybody on the phone or via email, not even their afterhours contact. And the worst part about it all was they didnt even paid TONU either tho we lost a day and whole weekend because of them.If there was an option for zero stars that would fit them prefectly.

Typical Chicago type drivers. Cut in front of people who been here waiting to unload since 12 noon yesterday..no respect for carriers.

If I could give zero stars I would. They booked 2 loads with us and did not pick up causing damage to the product which requires more labor. DO NOT USE THEM!

They pay decent other than that they (Josh) is horrible to deal with lied to get us to a pu location only to find out it was a 8hr wait time, after coming off of the loads Josh gave me a ear full of profanity and unprofessional words, definitely not how office personnel should treat the ones they rely on, as for my company we will never haul there freight.

Refuse to revise payment accordingly for detention pay that is owed, if youre and O/O be sure to keep track of loading and unloading times, I sat for 6hrs at a shipper, have contacted redwood through email several times just to be told, its not ready yet, they have had over a week to revise paperwork, very unfortunate to have hauled a load for a company that just doesnt care to take care of a driver that hauled for them, very unprofessional

I get loads from Erika she’s great ! I only been getting loads from them for couple weeks Erika has been great.. I just wanna say something to these companies owners and owner ops that complain too much about late payments .. if ur in a hurry why don’t u factor your loads and get paid the very same day???? Spend 1 hour with TClancy on the phone .we booked a load and the truck is being driving for 30 mins towards the pick . After all he called and canceled the load and we can’t get him to send a TONU . Redwood Logistics is one of the worst companies we have ever dealt with. They continually have the same communication issues that cause shipping delays and BOLs to be cancelled while the orders are in transit. Do not waste your time or money on these idiots.

Here in solidarity with others here, If I could give these people nothing I would because they don’t deserve nothing when it comes to the business world, But in this instance I’ll just give them their bad review that they have earned with honor. Cheap and unreasonable people to deal with, screwing drivers out of their money. You know who you are Keep sitting on that desk looking pretty you clowns.

Worst of the worst . You wont get paid so dont even try to do anything with them . Dont even try to call them or email them. They wont answer at all. Been trying to get them to reimburse lumper and detention . They just wont answer the calls or emails

This company does not answer their phones. The customer service is trash. Took 40 minutes to get someone to answer the phone and when they did they were rude. Would not recommend.

Call there number and it will send you to an extension ring for 1000 times and will hangup, they dont reply to emails or calls . we lost a load due to a receiver not unloading my driver because the load shifted forward was rejected and told to return on fri. 12am lost a $750 dollar load because of this and return the next day to del. driver sat from 12am to 7am . THEY DO NOT ANSWER EMAILS OR PHONES

This company pay cheaper rates and never pay detention on the loadsWe did 3 loads La mirada, ca to Los Anageles, ca. The broker say dont worry we pay detention, next sent the Pod with time in and out and never pay nothing extra for keeed the 3 drivers waited for 5 hours each.

Cody Alexander was the first broker i have worked with in the transportation industry. My first load i booked with Cody had some issues due to weather. He went above and beyond to assist my driver to get the load dropped off at the receiver. Since my first load, i have booked numerous loads with Cody. In the process i have worked with other members of his team and they all have been very helpful.

So bad company gove tuff time. I just 2 Load 🏃‍♂️ no more work with this company.

We booked a load with Brown Alex and everything seemed good and legit at that point. We dispatched our driver which was 89 miles away from the shipper, Alex asked for ETA and I provided him with that. Our driver arrived checked in and was asked to wait in the line for his turn. Mean while I receiver and email from Alex stating Hey shipper will not load your truck and I am not sure why I cant get hold of anyone at the shipper to get a reason why they wont load your truck. At this point I called my driver to see what is really going on and why they wont load us but when we checked in everything was good. Driver went it and spoke to shipping manager who was shocked by this claim. He told our driver Alex is one that emailed them not to load our truck but to load different truck thats was coming in. These guys are scams, lairs, terrible brokers and will go beyond to cheat you on it. Whats even worst is their management is the same way, so watch out when dealing with Redwood.

Brokers are unprofessional.They invent that my authority is inactive.I give them proof that it is not true and they answer me( Yeah don’t know what my directors are seeing, they won’t let me though.)I ask them to send me the confirmation and they tell me( I can’t no. Someone actually from my other office is covering this now as well. Nothing I could do.)

Do not use this company. They are a typical broker that will do anything to sell the freight but everything not to pay for it. There Ops manager and Training Manager Robert Murphy gave me a load about 1 hour ago with no PU #. I asked Robert who told me none was needed but my driver called on the way for specifics and was told that the load wasnt ready and wouldnt ship. I informed Robert who called back and told me that he couldnt pay a TONU because my driver didnt arrive at the shipper and it was the drivers fault for calling ahead to a shipper. He is the training manager but I am not sure what he is training people to do.

I have been working with Dillon Murphy at Redwood for a couple of years now, and I cant recommend a better broker. He is communicative, on the ball, and gets things done, and if there is a problem, he works with you to resolve it. This is a great brokerage, with great loads, highly recommend.

They like to waste job candidates time. They have you go through a phone interview and on site interview just to tell you you don’t have enough work experience. For an entry level job.

This broker screwed me for my inadvertent half hour late arrival at pickup place by secretly rescheduling my delivery appt for a much later date and time, although such appt was neither requested nor required.

I have been doing business with Redwood Logistics on a daily basis for the past 2 years. Veldin is very professional and works hard to help me find the best loads that will best fit the needs of my drivers. If for any reason detention is needed or layover it is always paid promptly and in a timely matter. I enjoy working with Veldin everyday helping to get the best freight I can for my drivers!

If I could give zero stars I would! Redwood lies about sending payments and when they will be there. They will literally tell you anything over the phone to get you off their back about payment and then say something messed up. Redwood started factoring for certain companies in Nashville and ever since its been a nightmare to work with and get invoices paid.

Booked a load with Peter 5:20 pm with 6 pm pickup appt recovering for someone that cancelled load on them last minute. Driver got to shipper 8:30 pm (redwood approved). Shipper told the driver to leave and reschedule. We called Peter and after hours crew. They said theyll note it in the system and couldnt tell us what to do. We had no assistance, no communication,no further instruction from the broker nor after hours crew. (load was just 100 miles trip going straight through for 3 am del so it was very time sensitive). Driver HAD to leave so we asked for TONU considering it was not our fault and our driver had no choice. This afternoon at the end of the business day Peter told me Redwood will not pay TONU. I was transferred to the manager Dan. He basically was laughing at me, barely allowing to say anything. Told me that he cannot pay with no explanation ! This is not a good way to do business. They did not value our time our resources or our driver. There was no one to tell us what to do differently...This is just pure greed. My driver did work for them as agreed and was just treated like garbage at the end.This is just below any standards and completely appaling.Feel free booking with them if you like your time and resourced being wasted

TRASH!!!!! Booked load with Ryan Kilani, waited 3 hours for rate con, i called every 15 minutes with in those 3 hours asking for my rate con. Broker says its ON THE WAY, Its on the way, its on the way. Then hour 3 hits they stopped answering, i had to email blast their whole company to get someone to answer me just to find out that, that we cant haul their load because their broker agreed on a too high rate. They said sorry if you will take it cheaper i will give it to you... They care more about $100.00 over a Relationship with carrier. Shows a lot about this company its CEO, Managers and Brokers. Do not waste your time with people like this. If you can stay away from booking with them i would and I will from now.

I was allowed to be screwed by Veldin who is a broker with triple C Transit. I would not recommend doing business with Redwood at all. Especially if veldin is the broker on the load.

Did the load for them from Chicago, IL to Fairfield, CA.. Came on time for my 7pm pick up, checked in around 5pm.. Loading took around 8.5 hours, from 7pm to 3:30am.. In and out times on the BoL, but detention was never paid to me. And this is not the first time they did this.

Dont waste your time with this broker, You wait 8 hours to get loaded and no Detention in Sight, We are on 3rd day of waiting and all he is Saying waiting on customer . What a joke .
