I am new to laser but I had a great experience. Jaydn explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable during my first visit. I bought a package and now I am on my third service. I love it. I am seeing results. The place is clean and cute and I have always had great customer service. Tiff is now doing my laser treatments and she is very good as well. Would definitely recommend.
If you love good lasting lashes, this is the place. I went here before I went on vacation to get individual lashes done and fell in love with the experience. The receptionist Yvette is the best and so sweet. She was able to fit me in at the last minute and went over and beyond to do so. I had my appointment with Gigi. She did a wonderful job and didn’t rush, which I love. Gigi was very nice, told me to trust the process, and I got up looking flawless. This will be my forever lash love.
I am sadden by the fact that I have to write such a terrible review on a black owned business being that I run a few. With me owning a couple of businesses I understand how business work and should professionally run. I personally take responsibility for not reading the reviews prior to bookingI so happen to run across PL&L on IG and decided to call them up. I spoke with the receptionist and told her that I wasn’t quite sure which chemical peel to choose from. She told me that I need to book a consultation for $50 and they’ll decide. Cool! No problem. I asked her if I can immediately get my chemical peel following the consultation since I’m traveling from a pretty distance and she said “Sure I’ll make sure I leave room for your service appointment. She booked me for the following week and that was that. I get there and they tell me that I can’t have my chemical the same day because they have to prep my face. This wouldn’t have been a problem if the reception would have explained the process over the phone in which she completely gave me false information. I get the consultation and they then tell me that I have to get a hydrofacial to start the chemical peel process off. Again the reception NEVER mentioned this $275 service that I would need to get prior. I said okay well let’s do it. Then they say, we can’t do it because we don’t have any appointments open. Now mind you, the reception clearly told me on the phone that she will schedule me a consultation appointment and a service appointment together. They finally find an open appointment for me but it was an hour later. They said “well this is Hyde Park just go grab something to eat or go shopping”. Still I was very polite and professional about it and did not start any fuss or push back. I leave and go get food and come back to my appointment. I get the service and right after they come to me with a list of products that I should use to prep myself for a chemical peel in which they said I would have to get two weeks after my service. I literally buy every product they recommended. Let me break this down more. I went in there with an understanding that I would get a consultation & a chemical peel and left with a $50 consultation, $275 hydrofacial (in which I never knew about), and about 7 products. All in all I left spending almost $1000 for a service I didn’t even know I was getting. Can you imagine that scam?! No apologies or anything just smiling in my face like everything is all good. Mind you, I’m a serial entrepreneur. I’m getting a chemical peel service so I scheduled my business and life to not be seen for 2 weeks because I didn’t want anyone to see me with a peeling face. I made those changes in my business and didn’t even have to b/c I didn’t even get it. They told me that my $50 consultation would go towards my hydrofacial service but I was literally charged for everything! No reimbursement. Before I left, they booked me a consultation for May 5th. Again, as a busy woman I don’t want to be seen with a peeling face so of course I rearranged my business ahead of time to flow without me being seen. They day before I get a call from the reception telling me that the owner (Tiffany) is going out of town and they will need to cancel my appointment. She then says that they won’t be able to fit me in until the end of the month as if they were trying to accommodate me for my mistake. The right thing to do especially after you just played me the previous time was to squeeze me in somewhere even if you had to stay after closing one day. You’re a business and the mistakes have been on your end so fix it! I told the receptionist how I felt and their was no accommodations. She said that she’ll send me the consultation payment back and that she’ll have the owner call me. Well, it’s May 14th and haven’t been contacted. Take this a warning people and read the other reviews. They have a pattern of behavior and they don’t care about people’s time or money. Now I’m out of almost a $1000 & still have to fly to Houston to get my chemical peel from a more professional business.
I got a chemical peel and bought the recommended products from PCA skin and my skin looks SO much better! Which is refreshing bc I got a peel from a spa like a month before and I didn’t notice any improvement. The price point is on the higher end but I did see results that made me feel like it was worth it.
Posh Lash & Laser will have your skin looking AMAZING! I have been to several different spas and no one has ever took the time to consistently improve my skin. Posh makes you feel very comfortable providing you with the knowledge & take home care. I highly recommend these ladies!!
I really thought Id give this place a chance despite the negative reviews. I actually tried to book with them months ago for just chin laser hair removal. The owner called and told me the machine was broken and she would call me when it was fixed. She never did. I booked online a few month ago but was put on their wait list. No one ever followed up. So I booked again with a time and date. Cool. I show up and they tell me I have to book a laser consultation beforehand. No one ever reached out to tell me this. Just a waste of time. This business is very unorganized and does not care about other peoples time. Hopefully they get it together because its unfortunate when you try to support our community and they dont show up for you
I cannot say enough good things about Posh Lash and Laser!! Tiffani did such a great job with my laser underarm hair removal and the entire staff is so friendly and knowledgable! Im super pleased with the results and will be highly recommending this practice to others. Thank you again!
M daughter I received consultations from Posh Lash and Laser on Saturday, 02/27/2021. The consultations were 50.00 each. After they concluded they recommended products. So, I ordered two products for my daughter.First, the receptionist tried to initiate a charge of 400 plus dollars, as if we had received facials, which we hadnt. The receptionist acted as if I was misleading and looked at our pamphlets, for a second time. I had to adamantly tell her that we had only been there for 10 minutes and we only received consultations. Maybe its me, but thats no small error.Fast forward to the ordering of products. The receptionist ordered the wrong product but assured me that the adjustment was going to be made, it wasnt but the full incorrect charge was debited from my ac I called them on Tuesday and the receptionist stated that she corrected the error and I hadnt received the refund due to Pulaski day, yup she said that! Mind you I they had already debited my account for the full order (error and all). At this point, I shouldve seen a refund pending, at least. Besides the holiday explanation, the receptionist couldnt find anything on my refund. The owner Tiffany, calls me, and lets just say she updated my info to send me a receipt of the incorrect order that the receptionist initiated. I asked her about the refund and she seems just as dissolved as the receptionist. She asked me repeatedly, what was wrong with me?, instead of asking how may, I correct her receptionist error? Since the incorrect order is already en-route and the refund was never completed she told me that I needed until I received the product to make the return. Deceit and inconvenience. So, the order was never corrected and the refund was never completed. So, I am waiting for items that I did not order (charged to my card) to come to my home only to return them. Yeah, how is this customer service? Also, the owner Tiffiany was very condescending, confrontational, unapologetic, rude and dismiss
This was my 1st time at Posh Lash & Laser & GiGi did a fantastic job on my eye lashes!! She not only examined my own lashes 1st & gave me great advice on how to restore health to my own lashes but she also took her time & made this experience very comfortable for me because I have very sensitive eyes. I received great customer service from the entire staff from the moment I walked in, to the moment I left! Keep up the great work GiGi & the entire staff!! 🙏🏽👍🏽👌🏽
I came in for a skin consultation with Ingrid and expressed all my skin concerns. She was extremely knowledgeable on the the health and natural process of the skin. I left with a thourough treatment plan and product recommendations. I made the appointment for my first treatment upon check out and I can’t wait!!!!🤗🤗

I’ve gotten serviced 3 times at Posh by Tiffany. Every time I’ve gone I’ve had a very amazing and professional experience. I started with just getting lashes and I’ve also started laser hair removal sessions. Posh is clean, contemporary, and cute. COVID-19 safety precautions are in full effect. My last appointments are extremely tranquil, I fall asleep every time. This is a self care regimen I plan to continue with Tiffany at Posh!
First time getting a facial, but I heard and researched a few things about it. Tiffany is Knowledgeable in her work. Giving details of what shell put on your face before doing so. I was so excited to get service done at this place; who knew it would become disastrous. In July, I booked a lasering session (chin and neck) with the manager/owner - Tiffani. My appointment was supposed to be at 11 oclock. I arrived around 10:50 am, and the door was locked. Eventually, someone let me in. Upon entering, the owner was in the middle of getting a massage, so my appointment was delayed. I felt that was quite unprofessional, but I was so excited to receive my service. I sat around for a while until someone spoke to me to update me on what was going on. The owner apologized, and I had my service fulfilled. After receiving my laser session, I was satisfied. The owner was friendly, and I was happy to be supporting a black business. At the time, Posh Lash & Laser had a special going on - 6 laser sessions (chin & neck) for $100. I thought that was an excellent deal, so I signed up for it. This is when things become troubling. Due to my ingrown hairs/ skin problems, I was told that I should book a session every 3-4 weeks. Being a full-time student, that was a bit of an issue to commit to coming that often, so the owner told me to come when I could. I booked my second session, and the service was pretty good. The owner was late again, but I only waited about 10-15 extra minutes. When I booked my third session, the owner was 40 minutes late. This time I was more upset and noticed a pattern of her always being late. She tried to resolve the situation by giving me a free laser session. Cool! The fourth and last time I booked a session, I arrived at the building on time, and the owner was not there. This was the final straw for me, and I wanted a refund. I had driven 2.5 hours to get to this place of establishment just to be told the owner was not there, and I would not receive any service. I was upset that no one had called me to let me know my service was being canceled and would need to be rescheduled. At this point, I felt the owner was very unprofessional. It seemed like there was always an issue. I sent other relatives to her place of business, and they too had appointments canceled with no warning. I attempted to call and ask for a refund on the 3/6 services I had not used, and she stated there is a no-refund policy. I do not have any physical paperwork that says such. She attempted to give me another service, but I felt why bother when my appointment would be canceled or late. I wanted a refund! My time is just as important as hers. Posh Lash & Laser sells skincare products. I asked if the owner could send me a product to rectify my balance, and she agreed. That was about two months ago. I realize now; she never intended to send me products. In all, Tiffani acted like her lack of professionalism was my fault.
My experience didn’t start off as bad as it ended. I was enjoying my experience within several visits and getting serviced for skin care needs. I seen a great difference with my skin within the first three months of coming and I was pleased with the results so far. I really wanted to support this business. I had a scheduled appointment today and received the following message as I walked up.Hi there! When you get to your 3:00pm appointment with Posh Lash and Laser, please wait outside. Reply to this text with H to let us know youre here.I reply H and this is the response.Youre checked in! Well let you know when were ready for you.So anyone reading this, what would you do as the customer? Especially during COVID 19? Your going to wait for a response. 19 minutes later I called while waiting in my car I was told by the owner that I needed to reschedule because another appointment was on the way. Keep in mind I’ve spent almost $1000 in products and I’ve had several appointments I’ve never been late to. I was so excited to support this owner but she dropped the ball with this. It’s so unfortunate. This is the time all black owners should be on point. This situation was not my fault and I was not accommodated properly. The owner acknowledged the mistake but didn’t act appropriately. We got to do better.
Tiffany is good at the work she does (lashes, skincare etc). However my experience as a client on the client relations side of things was not good. The services and products aren’t cheap and I expected a certain level of professionalism that I didn’t receive. First I was scheduled for an appointment and they could not find my appointment and had to reschedule me another two weeks out from a 3 week lash fill which meant my lashes were not on point for a good deal of time. Not a problem I’m flexible, however I received no comps or discount etc for something that wasn’t my fault. On another occasion I was told by Tiffany upon arriving at that moment a new person Gigi would be doing my lashes instead of her. I was not okay with that and expressed my hesitation but Tiffany assured me it would be good work. It would have been nice if I had a heads up and had a choice in advance. I wasn’t given a choice. My lashes immediately started shedding at a faster rate compared to when Tiffany did them. My hair stylist couldn’t even tell I was wearing lashes. I know the classic lash is a natural lash look but so many shedded due to poor application.. it was not right. I called 1 week and 5 days in, after the holiday when I had more time... to see what I could do to resolve and was even willing to pay for a two week fill service although I have always done 3 week fills... and all Tiffany offered was for me to come in for my 3 week fill that is 1 week out and with Gigi again as she said she no longer does lashes. I will not patronize this business anymore especially if I’m forced to go to someone I don’t prefer. It’s a shame as I’m an advocate for local small businesses and I spent the required amount on products to receive a complimentary chemical peel which I didn’t get to get yet..but I’ll travel the distance back north to the place I used to go to with quality work and service versus going 10 minutes nearby. I truly tried but it shouldn’t be this much work on my end as a client especially when the effort is not reciprocated.
In the spirit of Madame CJ Walker, it felt rewarding patronizing a black locally owned beauty bar in Chicago’s, south loop. The service was phenomenal! A soothing environment with a remarkable aura. Latonya was on point in every way imaginable. The owner was nice as a mothers advice. One of the staff members event went & picked me up some Starbucks while I was getting my pedicure. I am extremely happy that I chose Posh Lash & Beauty Bar to get my nails & feet did.
A few weeks ago for my birthday I received makeup services from the lovely Jade. I have always been a little shy so I told her to give me something different. She was nothing shy of amazing! I have been struggling with confidence and she helped me feel like myself again. With her knowledge of her craft, as well as ensuring I was comfortable and pleased with the service given. I would recommend her to anyone available because she is wonderful at what she does. I will definitely be seeing her again soon. 💜💜 Keep up the great work.

It was an AMAZING!!! Experience. I loved Tiffany and her amazing staff’s hospitality and customer service. It is expensive but, worth every penny. She takes her time and really makes sure she gives you the information you need to complete the process and road to healthy skincare. I will definitely be back to continue working with her on my skin.

I had an amazing experience! I made an appointment for waxing services and was assisted by their awesome esthetician Jade. It being my first time waxing I didn’t know what to expect. Her customer service was excellent and she made the experience so much better than what I thought it would be. After her services I definitely came back and made an appointment for full face makeup. The results for both my waxing and makeup were phenomenal. If your not booking with her especially, your missing out!
I’ve been looking for an esthetician for facials for about a year here in Chicago. I think I may have found one! I recently got a hydro facial and oxygen treatment and left with truly glowing skin. Tiffany paid close attention to my skin and recommended products for my at home regimen. Can’t wait to begin using them!
This was my first time getting lash extensions and Tiffany was SUPER patient with me. I was late and she was still willing to help me out!! (Don’t be like me, be better than me) I appreciate That she didn’t try to upsell me simply because I was a newbie and still took the time to explain everything To me.But my lashes though....AMAZE! they look so good! It’s not too much, but enough that I feel super cute! I had no idea what I wanted but she walked me through everything and explained the differences in the different types of lashes without making me feel like a burden.Her shop is also super cute!! Like SUPER cute! The decor is great, the space is open and the music selection was everything! Thank-you Tiffany for squeezing me in and doing such a wonderful job on my lashes!!
I called very last minute and they were extremely accommodating and got me a 7pm appt. I arrived early to a very cute location and was buzzed up.... I was greeted by two smiling faces and introductions were made. We had a quick pow wow and consult and instantly got started. They were so friendly and welcoming and when I was finally able to see the finished result I was beyond happy! I’ve definitely found my new lash spot and can’t wait to try out their facials and pedis! Thank you Tiff and Chloe for loving what you do... it shows!

2/23/2019 - Very good service and experience at Posh Lash and Beauty Bar. Owner, Tiffany, takes an extremely high level of pride in her work and offering customers an exceptional levels of service. She listens. She absorbs. She refines. Tiffany has a visible thirst for making improvements on behalf of clients so that they have a phenominal experience.
I absolutely looovveeee Posh lash and beauty bar. The place is setup so so pretty and its super clean. I started my facial treatments almost a year ago. I suffered from really bad skin problems. My acne was uncontrollable. Its been over 8 months since my first appointment and I see a big change in my skin. I get a lot of compliments on my skin as well. My esthetician is Tiffany, and she happens to be the best. She is really nice and informative about all treatments recommended for my skin type. Ive gotten my lashes done by her as well and I love them, I get at least 2-3 compliments a day. I strongly recommend Posh Lash and Beauty bar for everyone. Thank you Tiffany for helping with improving my skin !

I absolutely love this esthetician I have now gotten a facial, my eyebrows microbladed, and yet to get my lashes done. She is my go to for my Beauty regimen.Tiffany is super sweet very professional and knowledgeable in her profession.Next time I come to see her she has her book full, however she manages to fit you in her schedule.Please stop by 2240 South Michigan and get your services done with her you will be definitely impressed.

Today I went to get microblading with Tiffany. Professional & knowledgeable is just a few words that describe her. She calmed any fears I had for the microblading & she even gave me information regarding facials. I will definitely be back for my follow up for my microblading & im also going to start with facials for my skin. Tiffany is definitely worth every penny you will spend with her.
