A couple of years ago while on contract for wUzUp we were traveling on Company Business and we rented an Airbnb place from Fridman Properties for a temporary term.We loved our stay here with Ran at Fridman Properties so much, that we decided to relocate and sign an online contract for a long term 2-year lease for business purposes and to pursue a program for early retirement reasons.Ran and his wife are awesome property managers. The best really. The continuous assistance of his hospitality staff is amazing. They always go the extra mile for anything we need, anytime.Being new to Chicago they really took care of us and helped us to feel at home and to get around safely so that we would be safe and not in danger of getting lost. They gave us tons of wise, helpful advice and information and they treat us like family.We never once felt like strangers here. I am forever grateful for all the red carpet, friendly and family treatment.Thank you Ran and Fridman Properties staff for a warm and welcoming home!

When my friend gave me a link to this place and how amazing it was for hostels, I knew I had to stop in for the night. The walls of the building were decorated in a faded yellow/red. Many small details in the room are fancy and make warm and pleasant atmosphere.There are many great choices to choose from, especially on the weekends, and the location is perfect. Id definitely recommend staying here!

We love this place! It is the second time we’ve stayed here this year. First of all, it is very conveniently located near our relatives in Hyde Park. But also, it is a lovely apartment and Ran is a wonderful host. The apartment is very stylish, with many lovely aesthetic touches. It is furnished with all the amenities one could hope for. We had no worries about security and could enter and exit easily by means of a key pad. Ran is extremely attentive to his guests and responds quickly to any query. The first time we came, we suggested the addition of night lights, and sure enough there where several of them placed at various places. Our stays both times were quite enjoyable and we hope to stay here again the next time we’re in Chicago.

We visited Chicago based on a recommendation from our friends. Walking into the place we were overwhelmed with elegance and a sense of a good taste.Absolutely the most comfortable place Ive been in my entire life. The bed is perfectly sized, the bathroom is right there (my second favorite in my entire life), the shower is gorgeous, and its just a total kickass place. Nothing feels tacky or forced on this apartment. It was such an absolute joy to live here. The landlord is wonderful, as well, just willing to provide me the needed utilities in this lovely building without feeling overbearing or intrusive.

We stayed with Ran again this year for the holidays. We love this apartment and we always rent the same apartment each season. Its like home to us. The decor is amazing, and the host and his wife are outstanding. Ran and his wife are the best. They have thought of every detail. There are fresh fruits in the fridge. Wine. A breakfast of bagels and cream cheese in the morning. The coffee is outstanding. The amenities are perfect for our needs and the beds are comfy. Its clean, and safe, with plenty of parking and located near the museums and the restaurants my wife and I love. Well be BACK. Youre STUCK with us. Hahaha! Cheers! Abraham

Mr. Fridman, you are truly the Super Host Maximum! Thank you for the wine and the chocolates. The place was so clean and comfortable, and the beds were dreamy soft! Our group loved our stay. I love the decorations and all the amazing and artistic details of the apartment. The colors are so festive and cheerful. There are so many interesting things from around the world in the apartment, and I love the sea shells in the bathroom and the river pebbles. Just an awesome feeling and positive spirit permeates the whole place and I felt more at home in your vacation apartment than in my own apartment in LA. We stayed for 2 nights, the apartment was very clean,extra towels, extra blankets basic food in the kitchen. We felt at home. It was more then we excepted. Very good experience... Thank you for having us. We will definitely come back in the summer.

This was an awesome stay and experience. Ran and family makes everything easy and smooth from the notes posted throughout the home with contact and WiFi info and the provided breakfast. This was by far one of the best places I’ve stayed in and will definitely be recommending this spot and coming back.

Our family reunion this year will never be forgotten. Its our first time in Chicago. All of us were heavy laden with sorrow. We havent seen each other for ages. Separated by miles for many years, we were all full of smiles and tears. Fridmans vacation apartments was absolutely the best place for this reuniting of our broken family to happen. It was the only time I have ever been to an Airbnb where the place actually looked as excellent as the photos and was exactly like the pictures we had seen on the site. Very spacious, very stylish, very clean, and very comfortable. It accommodated our entire family for a nice, quiet, holiday - the coming together of souls that had long been apart. Ran even came to our rental and and taught our large group a class in European, Russian and Japanese cooking and language. And he cooked dinner for us. Its the only place where I can say, YOU GET MORE FOR LESS instead of the usual LESS FOR MORE. Ran, Im speechless. We will never forget this reunion, and we will never forget you as our gracious host. Mr. Fridman, you really are a SUPERHOST! Thank you for making my vacation in Chicago, the very best holiday I have ever experienced. I will never forget you or this apartment. This is the BEST vacation I have ever had. From the moment I arrived you treated me and my kids like we were VIPs ! My goodness, one doesnt even get 5 star care like that from ones own family let alone a complete stranger, but you are magnificent. Staying here alone with my 2 children, I never felt safer and happier in a place before like I have here. The property is gorgeous, artistic, and super clean. Lived in apartment the two of.The apartment is just gorgeous!!!! There is absolutely everything you need for everyday life! Modern interior!!! Very spacious! We were satisfied with the apartment)))

This company is a FRAUD! Save your money or pick a place that actually cares about their customers!! I made a reservation late feb before COVID was even an issue through booking.com. Fridman reached out to me on march 3rd telling me they thought Id be happier with a nicer, safer, more family friendly neighborhood of a different apartment that was more than 2x the price but said they would give it to me for the price booking gave me. Nice of them right? Wrong! They said it was safer for a family and with 5 children I agreed for a bigger safer apartment. So as Fridman instructed I canceled with booking.com and signed a reservation with them. A few days later covid was becoming more known and on march 10th my state had its 1st case and on march 13th they shut down my state. We were hit hard here and the governors orders were very strict. No school, no businesses, no travel unless any of these were life sustaining! The reservation I signed stated I could receive a FULL refund if I canceled by march 13th. I tried numerous times to contact Fridman to cancel this reservation...phone, email, and get this.. The email they provided to PAYPAL where I made the payment was removed! So when I tried to send the email it would not go through. So with many phone calls not answered my only choice was to cancel through paypal. Friedman answered that they wouldnt give me a full refund, only half or a new reservation. I escalated the claim and paypal was closed and i was unable to contact them. Though I also have several items of my proof of trying. Paypal settled for Fridman because Fridman stated I received the item. And paypal didnt ask me anything. I asked about making the reservation change and Fridman jacked the price up to more than double what I was suppose to pay. So i asked about the refund and each time they would offer half and then not send it and ignore my messages. And when they did answer they would again try to say I wasnt eligible for a refund. It wasnt until i told them i had in writing several times them offering me at least half that they gave me a partial refund...not quite half. Ive been fighting this for over 2 months and have gathered my phone records showing I tried to contact the company to cancel. Without the remaining refund I am forced to take this matter to court. This company does not care about my health, my family, or even acknowledge my attempts to cancel before the full refund deadline. They have acted in a shady manner and I highly recommend finding another place to stay if you are ever traveling to Chicago!Added******In response to your comment....you absolutely DO NOT treat your customers like family! I have PROOF in writing and on my phone history including phone calls, texts, and emails that I reached out you on multiple platforms and multiple phone numbers available to inform you of my cancellation BEFORE the full refund date and there was no answer. Health advice? What health advice did you supposedly give? You didnt answer the phone till weeks later then claimed I never cancelled. Your response to this review further shows your full intent to lie and manipulate future customers! Should I just share all my photos and proof? I have many and also the clear cancellation date proving I reached out to cancel ahead of the date required for a full refund. You didnt answer the phone and then your email wouldnt work. You even changed your policy. You know full well you owed me the full refund. You are Crooks!

We had a Team Reunion (CAC Get Together) just to reconnect with all the previous volunteers of our non-profit charity organization. Ran is one of our volunteers and donors. He is also a Super Host with Airbnb. And he really is a SUPER HOST. 5 stars for sure! There was a lot of us staying in his building and he made sure we were all comfortable and had everything we needed. The place is immaculate, sparkling clean, a lot of thoughtful and personal touches, great amenities and very stylish. Lot of good vibes downright! As our host, Ran offered outstanding hospitality and was full of helpful tips, information and details for us while we were on our trip. He was so fast to respond to our every question and need, even brought us fruit and a bottle of wine. It was great to hook up again. If we are ever in the states again, this is where we will be staying! Thanks Ran and MORE POWER TO YOU MAN!!! Love & hugs from all the Team at CAC!

I had to book an emergency trip to Chicago to visit my sick father. Ran was extremely helpful and answered every question that I had in my panic to book a place to stay near the hospital. He is truly a SUPERHOST. I coulnt have asked for better. During my stay I didnt know how to use the wifi and Ran came over to make sure everything was working ok and he showed me how. He provided us with fruit and wine and he also brought extra toilet tissue and paper towels when they ran out because our stay was extended. The place is IMMACULATE and extremely family friendly with games and toys for the little ones. The photos you see online is EXACTLY what you get and even BETTER. Sparkling clean with so many thoughtful touches. We loved the decor and all the lively colors. Plush and luxurious with amazing amenities and a lot of thoughtful touches. As a host, Rans hospitality is outstanding. He is quick to respond to any questions hegave us a ton of helpful information about our stay. It was like home for us.
