ProCare Restoration was very friendly and professional. I was worried I was going to have to do roof work to completely remediate the mold. Their inspection and experience confirmed that no structural changes needed to happen which saved me a ton of money. They also went to the extent of recommending a change to the bathroom vent ducting in order to prevent future mold from coming back. I have used this company twice and they have been very helpful. 1st time was when they fixed a mold remediation that was performed from another company. They fixed my attic right away! Went above and beyond!ProCare came out in person to give me an estimate with the exact (laser measured) square footage of my wood space. All other places I contacted me just asked for the square footage of my whole floor, which would have included non-wood parts.They came out on time every day, were very professional, finished in the time they said they would. ProCare Restoration conducted mold remediation in my propertys crawl space. Upon completion of the remediation, I ordered an air quality test from another company to avoid conflict of interest. The test results showed that mold spores are still present in both the crawl space and the room in which the crawl space access latch is located. The employees cross contaminated my home by not using a HEPA air scrubber while remediation was occurring.I explained this to ProCare Restoration and the company sent a technician out to retreat the surface. This method does not reduce mold spores in the air. They convinced me that the method does in fact remove mold spores in the air, therefore, they wanted to do another air quality test themselves. This is not ethical due to the fact that results may be tampered with upon delivery to the laboratory.I then explained I needed a HEPA air scrubber in my home to bring the air quality to acceptable levels, however, ProCare Restoration insisted I sign a contract stating I can not leave unfavorable reviews about their company on online platforms. I stated via email that I would not sign the contract because I want to inform others who need remediation done to avoid ProCare Restoration. John with ProCare explained to me the company was only hired to remove visible mold. This was not stated on the estimate. I received estimates from many other companies who explained they would use HEPA air scrubbers to bring air quality to an acceptable level, therefore, others who have been affected by mold should realize this is the proper way to conduct remediation and that ProCare just removes visible mold.I have not been living in my home for a month due to health issues related to the mold spores in my home and I do not want others to endure what I have when hiring ProCare Restoration.
