Sarah with Dint Corporate Housing made our stay a fantastic experience. The view was stunning and location perfect for downtown business or leisure. The secure and quiet interior provides a place to relax just far enough away from the bustling city streets. Booking was simple, and the expense was beyond reasonable. Sarah followed up on our check in, and made sure all accommodations were to our satisfaction. I was excited to hear about the possibility of their expansion to other locations for future travel plans. I will be booking with them again, no doubt about it!
Loved my stay here
Be wary. My familys experience with Dint over the last 3 wks:--We prepaid for our unit plus a parking spot in the buildings garage. **We later learned Dint has no access to parking spaces in the building’s garage.** This matter was never resolved, despite repeated conversations with Max Passa (owner/CEO) and his assistant William.--We were never provided with a mailbox key. The building management was legally prohibited from opening our mailbox without an original, assigned key. We have Xmas mail/packages that we will never receive because they are stuck in Dint mailbox purgatory. This matter was never resolved despite repeated requests.--We desperately needed a second keyfob in order to accommodate our conflicting work schedules and the rotating cast of babysitters for our toddler son. This matter was never resolved despite repeated requests.--There were no cooking supplies provided (zero pots, pans, spatula, can opener, knives...we couldnt even open a can of soup or slice an apple for our kid). After a week and a half of back-and-forth, Dint did send us Amazon shipments of pots/pans/some utensils/drinking glasses. We still had no way to use the oven (no baking sheet, no baking dish), but at least we could finally boil water and fry up an egg or two. We ended up having to spend our own money on some kitchen knives, a cutting board, cleaning supplies, and other basic items.--Worth noting: when we checked in, the unit smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. There was a full mug of cigarette butts in a kitchen cupboard. The noise from the busy train intersection just below our window was so loud we couldnt hear the television.--Also worth noting: a coworker of ours rented a Dint unit in another building during the same time period, and had a near-identical experience to ours...no supplies in the apartment, used sheets still on the bed, slow/no responses to emails and calls, etc.Dont be fooled by Dints professional-looking website. In our experience, these people dont have the manpower, the willpower, or the know-how to run a grownup business. Weve spent 3 weeks wishing we had the budget to abandon ship and go elsewhere. Save yourself the headaches and find another place to stay. We have filed complaints with the BBB.
Most excellent service never spect it to be so good this luxory and best style of life inChicago see you soon my friends
Let me preface all of this by saying that this was the worst airbnb experience I’ve had. I wish I had taken the review where the guy said he was KICKED out of his airbnb, if I had then my friend and I would not have been essentially homeless and struggling to find lodging during Lollapalooza weekend. These people tried to scam me and my friend, and it would not surprise me if the other reviews were fake. First and foremost, I was told regarding check-in over the phone by Sarah that I was not allowed to go inside the building, and that I was 100% NOT ALLOWED AT ALL to mention airbnb in the building. That gave me pause, but as this was Lollapalooza weekend, I was desperate for housing and let it go.Again, when Sarah met me outside the building, she said I was NOT allowed to mention airbnb. It became clear that they were not allowed to airbnb this space. Everything seemed okay, until the second morning of my stay when Sarah texted me wanting to meet up. As you know, you are not supposed to communicate with hosts outside of the app. It made me uncomfortable because she wanted to meet in person, again, something that hosts are not supposed to do. I transferred the conversation to messages, and told her that I didn’t have time this weekend, again, because I was in town for a music festival. She told me, “We would like to speak with you in person. It’s important regarding your reservation as we haven’t received payment.” That was a lie, because Airbnb had taken payment from my account, and as you know, Airbnb takes payment and handles that, NOT the host. I said, “I have paid. There are two charges on my account from Airbnb totaling the amount of the stay.” She proceeded to say, “We’ve asked you to meet in person to go over the details. We haven’t received payment from Airbnb, I understand you paid. But this is a matter that we need to speak with you directly. If you unwilling to cooperate we will have to remove your belongings and you cannot stay. No need to be concerned, we just need to speak with you.”I was scared and intimidated, and Sarah and her colleague, Max stopped by. They told us that they did not receive payment. My friend and I told them that I had receipts from airbnb and that they had to contact airbnb. Sarah And Max proceeded to tell us that we had to pay immediately, or else we would have to leave. I refused to and told them that they would have to contact Airbnb. They then proceeded to tell us that they would even give us a small discount ($800, our stay was $1100) if we gave our credit card information, and that they would cancel with Airbnb so I would have a refund. I refused to pay, and we were told we had to leave. Max even YELLED at me and told me that I needed to pay at least $300 to them for the nights I had stayed and I refused to do so. My friend and I had to leave immediately, and we missed half a day of Lolla because we had to find lodging. Don’t believe the fake reviews, this is a clear scam and an illegitimate housing company.
