While I was exploring Invisalign to correct my smile, many other providers turned me away due to the severity of my case. The Chicago Dental Studio did not. Dr. Hoffman was professional and personable, which made the experience even better. The staff at this office is also incredible. I feel welcomed and comfortable at every visit. Very nice office, easy location downtown. Felt fancy walking in and the staff was friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and efficient. The office and team are very Covid cautious and walk you through all the steps as you get going. Felt comfortable from the get go which is saying a lot walking into a dentist office. Alyssa, Nicole and Dr. Hoffman were informative and professional as they each did their part, from X Rays to cleaning to final check of my teeth. Made the whole process very tolerable... plus Jessica and Mel are pretty cool too.

A dog ate my retainer... isn’t that how all stories start at the orthodontist?Anyway... it was true a dog did eat my retainer and my teeth had shifted. I was looking for a quick realignment to prevent needing further work in the future.Two of my friends had worked with Dr.Hoffman before and they both had great experiences so I decided to check him out.My experience, from walking in, to my xrays, fit test and then consultation with Dr. Hoffman, was quick, thorough, and a breeze. Everything was super clean (precovid days) and chic. I was able to use insurance to cover some of the cost of Invisalign and only needed about 8 weeks of trays.I was due for my last appointment when CoVID19 started shutting down the city and informed them that I would reschedule once things were a little more certain.I was able to go in recently for my final checkup which showed all my teeth were where they needed to be. Now I’m just waiting on my retainer.The hygienists and front desk personnel explained the process and payment plan thoroughly and answered all of my questions.Thank you for the great experience!

As a 9 yrs patient who has followed Dr. Hoffman over the year, can not recommend him and his staff enough. I have a wide variety of dental issues - ranging from basic cavities to crowns to root canals to veneers. Dr. Hoffman not only is a brilliant and talented dentist, he acts with integrity and quickly gained my trust early on. As I have a lot of dental issues (with very good dental insurance) I have had dentists, over the years, recommend work not needed. At a previous practice Dr. Hoffman was starting out in, another dentist told me I needed to replace 2 crowns and Dr. Hoffman confidently disagreed with her and then he walked me through why that was not the case. Recently, Dr. Hoffman redid my cosmetic dentistry and it looks so natural. I can not recommend him enough. All the positive reviews are true. I am thankful for Dr. Hoffman.

I came in for a regular cleaning, walked away with over 2k estimated payment proposals because I had so many “problems”with my teeth, as in network dental, it is all about quantities, because their margin is very thin.I only did deep cleaning with them, I still ended up paying more than they initially estimated, interesting! Insurance policies just suddenly changed during mid December?!No I am not coming back to a dishonest needy greedy business!

I really really hate going to the dentist as my teeth are my Achilles heel. Any trip to the dentist is anxiety inducing, compounded by the fact that other dentists have messed up my root canals, fashioned skimpy crowns, and installed poorly fitting implants. Dr. Hoffman had the pleasure of fixing someone elses work, which Im sure no dentist enjoys doing, but he did it with aplomb! His staff is well trained, truly gentle, and the atmosphere is upbeat. Im glad to have found a personable and reliable dentist who does truly top of the line dental work with no residual issues. Am I still scared of the dentist? Yes, but I trust Dr. Hoffmans work and he definitely makes it as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

I have been to four different dentists In the past ten years (I move a lot) and none of them come close to Dr. Hoffman in terms of speed, skill, or taste in music. Dr. Hoffman just fixed three of my fillings AND made me a crown in under two hours. It was easy, safe, and painless.We all know that dental fillings are unpleasant by their very nature. So think about what it means that I felt compelled to write this five-star review as soon as the Novocain wore off from three fillings and a crown the Chicago Dental Studio; theyre just that good.Im never going to a different dentist again. Even if I move out of Chicago Id just fly back twice a year to get cleanings at the Chicago Dental Studio. So if youre shopping for a new dentist, do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Dr. Hoffman.

Easily the best dental team Ive ever been to in my whole life, and Ive been to many dentists in many states. I came in with a mouth that needed a lot of work ($8000+) because I had neglected my health for so many years, and had a lot of subpar work done in the past (over $20k). I was a little fearful and ashamed when I came to get everything finally fixed, but the process could not have been better or smoother.I went in for an evaluation and got a full checkup, set of x-rays (including a 180 degree full mouth x-ray -- which was a cool piece of tech I hadnt seen outside of an orthodontists office), and a plan to fix everything that needed fixing. They were conservative in their approach, and worked with me to pick the amount of work I was willing to do. This process took about an hour and was extremely transparent and straightforward. I didnt feel shamed at all for having my teeth be in the shape they were, and felt that they wanted to help a lot.When I got some crowns in the back at the next appointment, the process was even smoother. The time from when I got there to when they started working on my teeth was short. They got the right amount of anesthetic right the first time (something that wowed me as Ive got a lidocaine insensitivity and have always had to be numbed up a second or third time), and worked on my teeth super quickly. It didnt feel rushed, but I have never known a dentist or assistants to have so much confidence and speed.They were able to 3D print a new crown the same day so I didnt even leave in a temporary (another great use of the tech they have), and from what I can tell, the fit and feeling are perfect. Easily one of the best crown installations Ive ever had.On my way out, because I needed so much work done, they also gave me a cosmetic evaluation. They made sure to indicate to me that it was not necessary to do this, but that because I would need so many teeth crowned that this was a good time to consider it if I wanted to do it. I had always been worried about the insane costs for such a thing, but they broke it down reasonably and effectively, and indicated which areas would need work and which could be left alone, and what the price tag would be.Overall, the experience was super positive. I cant recommend this place enough. It simply doesnt get any better than this.

Dr. Hoffman is by far the best dentist I have ever been to! He is very attentive to what you want and what you are looking for and makes you feel extremely comfortable! He has done a few crowns and fillings and fixed some issues from past dental work. After that work was done we then talked about the fun stuff, Veneers! He did an unbelievable job! I had Lumineers previously on my top two and bottom two teeth. I was unhappy with both the shape and color. After a Consultation with Dr. Hoffman I decided to get my top four and bottom four teeth done. He completely redesigned my teeth to compliment my smile! Dr. Hoffman and his staff were amazing throughout the entire process. Constantly checking in on me to see how I was doing and how satisfied I was. I can’t believe how natural they look and how many compliments I get on my teeth every day! My smile is now flawless thanks to him! We decided to bring our 9 years old son in to get his opinion on a big cavity since we trust him more than the previous pediatric dentist. This is a very hip, modern dentist office. It has more of a feeling of a nightclub mixed with a spa than any other place Ive ever been to get my teeth cleaned. Previous excellent experience brings me and my wife here constantly. Dr. Hoffman is great and professional, I like him. Most of the staffs here are nice as usual. However, the front desk people always make me feel they are unhappy no matter face to face or on the phone. I understand they might have talked to too many people all the day. To be honest, the Studio should put somebody warm and nice, who love this job on this position.

The facility is well-appointed and inviting, and the ambient music was conspicuously dope. The front desk staff was courteous and professional, the hygienist was super personable and attentive, and Dr. Unterbrunner was a lifesaver in addition to being proficient and affable; my issue was essentially resolved immediately.Also, just the entire staff is quite pulchritudinous, if that sort of thing is important to you.

I’ve been going to CDS since they opened - best dental experience ever! Amazing Hygienists and Dr. Hoffman is an excellent practitioner. He’s consultative, conservative and truly concerned with the individual and their personal dental needs. They do a great job of keeping your dental hygiene in tip top shape and discussing their process so that you understand why they are doing what they are doing. Best experience with a dentist Ive ever had! Staff and office space is very nice, and they are extremely fast and efficient. Highly recommend Dr. Adam Unterbrunner, has never made me feel bad about poor dental hygiene and explains things clearly and does not force me to do anything I dont want to do. My dental hygienist, Allison, is great too! Not only have I been doing regular cleanings after not going to the dentist for years, but they were able to replace one of my old silver crowns in about 2 hours in only one visit! In my experience thats unheard of, so I will continue coming back here as long as I live in Chicago.

This is not an orthodontist office but merely a general dentist. Im pretty sure a general dentist does not have the same training than an orthodontist. I got a few quotes on Invisalign. There was the most expensive place. They care only about the payment, offering a 10% discount if I paid in full.

Dr. Hoffman is patient, thorough, and presents multiple options instead of forcing a preferred method of treatment. This will be the only office I go to in Chicago!

I truly appreciate how their appointments run on time.The hygienists are wonderful and the dentist gives really nice explanations should issues arise. I highly recommend the River North office.

Everyone at Chicago Dental Studio is very friendly and welcoming! The office is super clean and they always have good tunes playing! The dental hygienists are efficient and gentle. Dr. Unterbrunner is the best dentist Ive ever had!

Admittedly I am a huge baby when it comes to the dentist. That said, Ive had nothing but great experiences at the Dental Studio with Dr. Hoffman. They take my past experiences with dentists into account and make sure Im comfortable for every visit. Highly recommend their practice.

Quick, painless, and they play great music -- three great features of a dentist visit. Its easy to make appointments and text and email notifications are perfect reminders of appointments. They also dont nag you when you dont floss religiously, which is ideal.

I am soooo happy I found the Chicago Dental Studio! I had a tooth emergency and they were accommodating and fantastic. I thought I needed an emergency root canal, 48 hours before I left for vacation in Mexico. I called after hours and let them know my predicament. They were the first call the next morning (I called a few places the night before) and had already worked out a plan to see a dentist and if it turned out to be a root canal, I would see the specialist immediately after. As soon as I walked in, the front desk was smiling, and accommodating. It was such a welcome sight considering I was freaking out an in pain. Once I was seen by the first dentist, they immediately ushered me out to another location so I could see the root canal specialist that was only in for the day. Once I arrived at the new location, they already had my pricing plan ready to go and got me in a chair. Dr. Flowers was so relaxed and nice he made me feel comfortable even though I was shaking and nervous. Once he started the procedure, he determined the tooth was cracked an not salvageable. While I started freaking out that I was going to miss my trip to Mexico, Dr. Flowers and the office immediately started working on finding someone to extract the tooth. They were able to accommodate the procedure 2 hours later. I came back to the office and Dr. Bosworth had the pleasure of again talking my down from a ledge now that they were taking out the entire tooth. He could not have been nicer and more informative. He knew I was freaking out and took time to explain and help me feel more relaxed. During my ordeal, the dental hygienist (I didnt catch her name) was extremely sweet and happy to help, again, calming my nerves. I cannot recommend The Chicago Dental Studio enough! From my first interaction over the phone at 8 in the morning, to saying thank you to everyone I saw walking out 7 hours later, I am so happy I found them!!

I had my semi annual cleaning earlier this week and I love everything about this office. Odd to say about a dentist office, I know. But it is so clean, the contemporary furnishings are cool, and the music is calming and current. Most of all, everyone (front desk, dental hygienist, and dentist) is super friendly. They put you at easy and were personal without being intrusive. Dr. Adam Unterbrunner, my dentist, waited until my temporary filling started to deteriorate before recommending I get a crown. I like that he put me first, instead of his pocketbook.
