I use Gift Card Spread frequently. Very fast email response. No problems with gift cards and good discounts.

Bought a $30 Starbucks gift card. It had a $0 balance when I tried to redeem it. They dont respond to email or phone messages. I submitted a dispute with my credit card company today. At this point, I would highly caution purchasing from this company. This is my personal experience. I have stated only facts regarding my interaction with this company. Purchase from them at your own risk.

Purchased a Jo Ann Fabrics gift card and when we tried to use it 30 days later it had a zero balance. So far, Gift Card Spread has refused to make it good! We will not consider further purchases with Gift Card Spread unless action is taken.

A few years ago we got burned with cards because there was only a 60 day guarantee and when we went to use cards that went beyond that, they had no value. Now they have a year guarantee so have been ordering again, however recently I received a gift card that says right on it Expires January 31, 2019 I have contacted them 3 times with no response so now, back to complaining to BBB...customer service help just isnt there!

Nearly 100% of the time that I buy from GCSpread, if I dont use the cards that day, by the next week they are empty. I think there is someone who works there who scans for cards that were purchased, not yet used and then uses them. At first I was thinking that it was the person who sold it, but that would mean that they have to have one major seller, or that its nearly everyone trying to scam them and you. No, this makes more sense, that its an inside job. If you buy from them, use caution and use as quickly as you can

I ordered a $50 gift card for H&M. The friend i gave it to try to use it online and was told she needed a pin, but on the printed card it says very clearly that you don’t need a pin. She decided to take it to the store but she was leaving the country for several months. When she got back she took it to the store. They told her they needed a pin and to use it online. But when she tried again to use it online they told her she needed a pin and to use it in the store. So the card is useless. Both places require a pin that she was never given and which they don’t have record of. I contacted customer service and was told it was more than 60 days since I bought it and they refused to refund my money. . They insisted that none of their cards require Pins, but apparently some of them do. I am livid Do not shop here. There are some great gift card sites, this one is a scam.

They sell fraud gift cards. Half the time you will be wondering why your card is empty if you didn’t spend it yet. Customer service does not care once it falls out of the 60 day window. Even if you can prove it was emptied before you bought it, they keep your money. DO NOT TRUST!

Ive purchased multiple discount gift cards online in the past. Unfortunately, this one that I purchased for my daughter as a Christmas gift had no money on it. She was kind of bummed out, but it happens I suppose. Will be replacing the card with one bought in-store that definitely has money on it.

Ordered an electronic gift card and my debit card was immediately charged, but i waited a full 24 hours and still had not received the card. Planning my shopping trip around the ability to use the gift card. After the full day had passed, I received a voicemail that was very difficult to understand, asking something about verification before the gift card could be processed. I also received an email saying a one time verification was required for new accounts. When I called, the guy who answered was unprofessional and unhelpful and hung up on me as I tried to get more information. There are many services like this out there that are easier to use and more helpful in their communication, so I certainly will not order anything from this company again.

I think this is run for some guy out of his apartment, using offshore support. Dont believe me call their technical support line before ordering. I have had time to write a complaint letter and this review and I am still on hold.They have only once shipped the gift cards to me without calling. You have to decide how much your time is worth and how much you will be saving. At the end of the day it is not worth it.I have done business with them after the first review. 2 out of 3 times the cards did not have the balance they said they did. You do not save money, because yo will spend hours fixing their mistakes. Plus the worst is stand at a counter thinking you have a balance and they said sorry the balance is zero, when you paid for a $100.00 gift card. They really are awful.

Although we might run into a few gift cards with issues (You have to expect a few errors from 3rd party sites like these), the discounts offered at Gift Card Spread totally make up for that! I highly doubt you will find a better site for such amazing discounts. I couldnt be more thankful towards Gift card spread - We have saved over $500 in our family shopping over the past year! Waste of time. Bought a gift card and it was immediately canceled. They sent an email stating this but on the website the E-Gift Card said it was awaiting shipment. I emailed to find out why and they said it was flagged at high risk... no further explanation given. Luckily, I can see the charge and credit both pending on my credit card, but who knows how long they will take to process. I should have looked up a review ahead of time, after I came here and see theyve scammed so many people. I havent had any issues with other gift card sites before and I found this one through gift card granny.

Most of the gift cards that weve purchased through GCS were a great discount, delivered quickly w/no problems for use. However, we bought 2 theatre gift cards, but hadnt used them immediately. About 2 months after receipt, we went to the theatre to use, but both cards had been deactivated. We emailed GCS and they refunded our $ immediately, but without explanation. Still, it left us hanging at the theatre and I cant help to think that if we didnt try to use, they wouldnt have told us. We have purchased several cards before and since, with no problem.

After setting up my account, I regret I had provided too much info to setup account (dob, security questions similar to credit report, phone number validation, email validation) just to buy a gift card. I feel the info they request to open account (like dob, credit report security questions like which car you own) are giving me a feel i am scammed.2. They never send e-gift card for 24 hours, call to their customer service number always goes only to voicemail after 20 min waiting.3. We good, clear web site interface, easy to use. It even gives the option of remembering your card so you dont have to enter it again.The entire purchase was less than a minute, literally a couple of clicks (with the card pre-saved) and I got my cards in the email in approximately 5 minutes.

I bought a Starbucks card, and it belongs to someone elses Starbucks account. I have NOT used it, and the value has dropped every day since I paid for it. It is now worth LESS than I paid. When I emailed to complain, I was told the balance was all there and use it in the store. I emailed right back to say no, the total balance is NOT there, and have had no reply in three days. Today I called, and was told I would hear something back by email. The person on the phone could not help me.

Do not waste your time. Horrible customer service in India or someplace where they barely speak English. They demanded very sensitive personal information to verify my identity which was more invasive than applying for a new bank account or credit card! They then cancelled all of my cards, but refunded my money partially. They contacted me multiple times, and promised they had solved the issue, then turned around and cancelled the entire order without refunding all my money. Supposedly it takes 3-5 days to get a refund. Totally NOT worth the hassle!

$200 Sears card had absolutely no balance. No phone number to contact.UPDATE:. They responded to my email within a day and refunded the original card, so I purchased another card and had no issues with redeeming it. Atleast they made it right and I didnt have to contact my credit card.

Took them about 15-20 hours to process my e-gift card order. Then after I got the email saying the order was ready, their site went completely offline. I called their support, waited on hold for about 15 minutes, and then the guy on the other end said to try again tomorrow. He didnt have any information and couldnt look up my order. I kept trying to access their site all night, but it didnt come back online until the next morning. I wouldnt recommend using them.

Same as all the other reviews... got scammed and was told that I had used the gift card, when the family member I gave the gift card to, had to explain to the company the gift card was for (PETCO), why the card was not working. Only way I was able to get the full amount of my money back was to file a dispute with my credit card company (WELLS FARGO). These people make a profit off of lying to the general public.

I purchased a card, tried to use it, and it didnt work. No big deal. That can happen. But, what was a big deal was actually getting a refund. They have limited phone hours and never returned phone calls. Their online support system was broken. When I did get a human on the phone they said theyd have the problem resolved in 3 business days. They did not. This left me with no choice but to file a chargeback with my credit card company.

After purchasing a $50 gift card and receiving the card via online voucher, I went to the company website to confirm the balance on the card. The balance showed $0. I called the 855 number and representative stated they would look into the matter with the gift card merchandiser. How inconvenient when you are expecting to receive a $50 card to send to someone and they send a card with no balance on it. That would have been a bad surprise for the receivers trying to use this card.

2 of the 4 E-gift cards I just purchased from this company (for Red Lobster) were NOT VALID. One was already redeemed 3 months earlier and the other is a closed/cancelled gift card! And GCS has the audacity to state that there are no refunds or returns when they are sellling bogus or used cards.

I used them twice to purchase electronic versions of iTunes cards. The first purchase went without a hitch. The second purchase, well:The iTunes site indicated the number I was given had not been activated, so I submitted a service request for either another card or a refund. One week later, nothing had happened, and the ticket was still showing as open.Over a two-week period, I called them five times total. Each time I had to wait in a long queue before I could speak with someone. Each time I spoke with someone, I was told to call back the next day or after two days. This is my first time buying a discounted gift card online, and it will also be my last. I spent over $300 on a gift card so that I could buy birthday presents. When I immediately tried to use the card (it was electronic), it only showed a value of $137! They claim to verify the amount before the gift card is sold, but obviously that didnt happen. Im waiting to hear back from them for a refund, but their website shows that it could take 45 days. Its a good thing that Im not down to my last $300 because my daughter and stepdaughter would have to wait for their gifts, not to mention that I would miss out on the big sale that the merchant has today only! I purchased a Pot Belly gift card on June 13th. The gift card Did NOT have a pin and therefore I could not use it. I am still waiting for a refund. There is no reason this site should sell any more Pot Belly gift cards until they fix the issue.

This company stole $500 from me. I sent them cards in early January $500 worth of gift cards in exchange for $425. It is now April, and I still have not gotten my money. Every time I email the company, they reply with a bunch of weasel words like were going to look into this right away and outright lies like your money will be sent out in 2 business days and Im beyond fed up.

The first time I used them everything worked pretty well. But the 2nd (and possibly last) digital giftcard they sent via e-mail says it cant be redeemed by the retailer and that its either an invalid code or needs to be authorized. Ive dealt with several discount giftcard sites and frankly mostl of them offer very similar discounts and customer service. However, I have found Giftcard Spread to be the most reliable when it comes to giftcard validity. Im always having issues with giftcard balance or giftcards being invalid. I can count on Giftcard Spread giftcards not having issues.

Purchased a Dunkin Donuts gift card. It was deactivated after 2 weeks of use. Dunkin said that they are cracking down on gift cards sold by unauthorized re-sellers and my card, with $73 remaining, is now void. I am trying to contact Gift Card Spread to get a refund. I purchased a card for Jockey and it wasnt any good. This is the second time. The first I just thought there was something wrong with the card however this time when I had problems using it at Jockey I was told that they dont accept third party cards. It has been 2 weeks since Ive purchased a faulty card from here. Supposed to have $100, only had $46. They sent me a partial refund for the amount that was missing a week later, but then also deleted the card, so now Im not even able to use the $46. Im contacting the BBB. Not worth the time. There are so many other sites that have the same discounts that dont cause this much frustration.

TGIF stated the card I used had a zero balance. It was sent to me the day after the balance was used bringing it to a $0 balance, useless card.

Bought a gift card for Bloomingdales and it had already been used. Scam.

Ordered an ikea gift card, initially received an automated shipment notification without any indication of shipment. Then 2 days later, I reviewed a similar email. From the company website, I have had a usps tracking number which indicates a shipment will occur but has not taken place. 12 days later, 5 unresponded emails and 5 calls without support to correct the issue; I am disappointed. The company comes off as irresponsible for the amount of money I spent on a gift card. The only recourse I have is to file a complaint with the BBB and my financial institution. Currently I am out 3 figures. Avoid this company, no deal is that good.

Bought a Subway gift card and when I tried to use it to order online (the only way I order) it said the card had already been registered by another user. When I contacted GC Spread about this they said Subway cards can only be used in-store (which is not true at all) and refused to refund the purchase. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!

Ive had some ok transactions with this company but Ive recently suspected they stole my credit card information. Im from California but on 2/14/17, someone in Chicago (where theyre located) used my credit card at PETCO, Wingstop and other places in Chicago. Fortunately, I got my credit card co. to reverse those charges and cancel the account. I would think twice before giving them your credit card info.

Bought a $100 gift card for $85 (15% off), used $70 of it within first 3 weeks.. then for no reason whatsoever, the remaining balance was taken out (this was on week 5) by the gift card merchant. Inquired and received a refund of $15... basically I paid out of pocket for $70 of the purchase and got zero discount. They mention on their site that there are no refunds after 60 days, I can only imagine what would have happened had this happened after 60 days.

I purchased a $200 lululemon gift card for $168.90. It took over a week for the card to be processed and once it was, it only had $40 on the card. They have been investigating my claim for over 2 weeks now and I have yet to hear anything back. Filed with my bank and was only partially refunded. Please save yourself the stress and the agony of losing money and do not purchase this.

Awful company, dont sell with them. They took my gift card information and after 10 days of contacting them they keep telling me they have forwarded me to the concerned department or to wait a couple more days. This is a complete scam and they scammed me out of 144 dollars. I checked my gift card balances and theyre all 0$ they will sell your gift cards and not pay you. They ask for you ID which isnt something you should give them. No other gift card company asks for this, and they shouldnt. Dont buy or sell with this company ever!
