I started with Kourosh fourteen months into the process of my divorce. I am confident that had I immediately hired Kourosh, I would have had a vastly different experience. Paige and the Arami law team have done a great job in winning my case. I was battling a very complicate divorce case with another lawyer representing me at the time. I had an order of protection against me to not be near my kids. then I was only allowed 6 hours of visitation per week. January 2020 I had a hearing and I was told by my previous lawyer at the time that I will be going home with my kids that day. unfortunately that did not happen, in fact I was slammed with child support. after the hearing, I knew I had to change my lawyer and I was lucky enough to find the Arami law office on google that day. It was a very complicated situation, with order of protection that deprived me from seeing my children, child support, maintenance, property judgments, all stacked up against me. This is an account of my experience with Kourosh Arami. I am very skeptical about the numerous 5 star reviews. Mr. Arami handled my divorce, but merely served as a fill-in because I did all the major work. Kourosh forwarded the draft decree written by my ex-wifes attorney without giving comments. He just wanted me to okay the matters, but I put my foot down on several items in the draft and received the outcome I wanted despite him telling me to just get it over. He even thanked me for catching something he didnt!!! If I was not close to being done with my divorce I wouldve fired him. Also, his response time was terrible! He has an abundance of clients and he tries to churn them out as soon as he can which is why he does not take the proper time to review more complicated matters with the attention thats required. I bet many of his past clients who thought he did an amazing job will later realize that they were not protected. Luckily, I was looking out for myself despite his lackluster efforts. Further, his office staff failed to forward me paperwork on court-ordered mediation involving the custody of my children. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN!!!! Kourosh was apologetic, but I didnt want an apology I wanted professionalism. Luckily, my ex informed me and forwarded me the paperwork she received from her attorney. Kourosh may have been this great attorney years ago, but this guy has become callous to the divorce process and just tries to get his money and move on. If thats the kind of attorney you desire going through a stressful, emotional, and costly experience then hire him. Please review your decree documents, ask questions, and review things for yourself...youre the only one in your corner you can trust.

Ruined my life! Didn’t protect me in anyway in my divorce judgement! Just went along with whatever opposing counsel said! Should have advised me. Had someone else look over judgement and was told I was screwed, he never should have agreed to that and that he didn’t even have the basic divorce terms to protect me put in the decree. Also thought I had joint custody of my son! Who agrees to pay maintenance for 13 years and don’t advise to go to trial! Only called when it was time to collect a check!

It’s no free consultation. The receptionist tried to get my credit card number to hold a spot to see the attorney and after I would see him for consultation the charge was $100. I decided to go with someone else.
