Im convinced the Streeter is the BEST building in Chicago. Ive lived here for a year and have absolutely loved it. Best location, best amenities, and the best staff. Great fitness center. The building is QUIET, unlike other modern buildings Ive lived. No noise from running water, laundry machines, etc coming through the walls. Just street noise, which should be expected with any apartment building downtown.
I’ve lived in the streeter for the last year and am really sad to have to relocate. The staff and maintenance team are the best ever. Maintenance requests are completed in 24 hours and will go above and beyond to help (they even helped me hang a painting)! It’s so quiet in the building I’ve never heard noise coming from another unit. I live in a 2 bedroom and I can’t even hear my roommate when she’s in her bedroom and I’m in mine! If you’re looking for a quiet apartment in the heart of Chicago with top notch amenities this is it. Location is a great proximity to the lake and river north, very walkable! Overall great experience and hope to be back one day. The only slightest complaint I can think of is I wish they had room darkening blinds but I found my own solution to that!
Weve been living at the Streeter Apartments for a year and a half now, and have no intention on leaving any time soon! From the very beginning the moving in experience was easy and streamlined. The leasing office staff is very communicative and there is always someone available to answer questions and alleviate issues. The maintenance staff is super on top of it, and any maintenance requests are fixed completely within a day. The amenities are always kept clean and in working order, and there are a ton of little perks around the apartment like free coffee/tea and dog treats for my pup. All in all, a fantastic place to live. This is the place to be in Streeterville!
We’ve moved into The Streeter a month ago after two years of somewhat nightmarish rental experiences and a hard slog of finding a building that wouldn’t be a repeat. Our experience has been first rate from our very first tour. The sales and office staff here is wonderful, friendly, efficient and totally on top of everything. Door staff and maintenance are friendly, efficient and incredibly kind. The building is beautiful and well maintained and very dog friendly. The location is excellent with the lake, parks and city right at your fingertips. This was a really great find and we’re happy to be here.
This is literally the best place to live in Dt Chicago. The staff is really kind and always have wonderful resident events. The apartments are beautiful with amazing views. The concierges are always kind and friendly and the office staff goes above and behind to assure your happiness! This is also the most convenient location! Right across the street from a grocery store and great public transportation! Thanks for being great Streeter!
This is a beautiful building with wonderful people both working here and living here. The amenities are amazing! Its just a short walk to Navy Pier and to Magnificent Mile, Michigan avenue. Love it!
I am sad I had to relocate! This was by far my favorite building to live in Chicago and Ive lived in the city for 9 years. Its the only building I lived in for 3 years straight and I would have stayed longer. JP, James and the rest of the staff are absolutely outstanding. Could not recommend a better staff. My needs were met to the fullest every time I requested. The door staff is also amazing. Amenities are fantastic, with a full gym, basketball court, hot tub, sauna, awesome pool, and bars and restaurants literally downstairs. Location is the best of any and you really feel like you get your moneys worth. Many of the surrounding apartment buildings are overpriced or not as outstanding of an area. Go with the Streeter, you wont be disappointed.
I have lived in The Streeter for over a year and have truly enjoyed living here. The staff, from management to maintenance, are nice and helpful and have made this a wonderful place to live. The amenities are great and the location was one of the selling points for me! You are within walking distance to Navy Pier, the Magnificent Mile, and a nice walk to Daley, Grant, and Millennium Parks! I would highly recommend The Streeter to anyone that wanted to move the downtown Chicago!
A very pleasant living environment. Modern, super clean, quiet, convenient, and safe. Amazingly nice and competent staff.
The sales professional I worked with 5 years ago set some pretty high expectations, in terms of what the experience of living at The Streeter would be like. Let me simply say, these were exceeded and I continue to renew my lease because life at The Streeter just gets better and better. I love living here.
I have been a resident of the Streeter for 3 years now and have nothing but great things to say about the community. Where do I start? The complimentary coffee every morning, the great service from staff and service team and the amazing amenities the building has to offer. This building is centrally located and near many restaurants and a couple blocks from the mag mile. Summers are amazing with the convenience of the grill area and pool deck as well. Definite plus living here thats why I give it 5 stars.
Lovely apartment! Dean provided outstanding service, was kind and courteous, and was very prompt with answering any questions or concerns. Highly recommend him to those seeking a spot!
The best high rise in Chicago with the best staff. Dean and James are great at their jobs and extremely helpful with any questions and the moving and leading process.Views are outstanding, very quiet and peaceful, and the amenities are the bat in the city.Live at the Streeter!
Correction: Love it. Not loved it! I have lived here for about 4 years now and after living in numerous buildings and areas (Lakeview, Wrigley, Roscoe, etc) there is no way I would live anywhere else! You cant beat the location or the quality that The Streeter provides. Their staff and leasing team make it such a warm and inviting place. JP does an amazing job. You have management at your finger tips if you have any complaints at all which other luxury buildings DO NOT provide. See Frankie in the leasing office too, he is awesome! A++
I relocated to Chicago and moved into the Streeter early 2016. I looked at many many Apt buildings as I was looking for amenities and space (open layout). Our experience has been excellent, starting with the staff. Frankie has been an above and beyond resource during and after the transition and so has the rest of the staff at the Streeter - from the door (Raymond is great!) staff to the maintenance folks. We left on vacation and forgot our work phone, well Frankie jumped in, went into our unit, found the phone and shipped our phone overnight...you wont find this type of service anywhere.Location - could not be better - Whole Foods, Target, Movies, Massage Envy, Chiropractor, Dentist, Hospitals...all steps away from this building - not to mention many many restaurants and bars.
I lived in one of the studio apartments at The Streeter for three years from 2011-2014At first, it seemed a little pricey. It was annoying that I paid more to live on a floor that allowed dogs even though I didnt have, nor planned to get a dog. A similar apartment became available on a higher floor for a lower rent since it was a non-dog floor but since I had already signed my lease, they wouldnt let me choose the new available apartment. But then once I was there, I loved it.The cable and internet are included and it is truly high speed and worked very well. In fact, all utilities except electricity was included, which was awesome. The apartment was fairly well built. On occasion, I could hear my neighbors new puppy barking, but that got better as the puppy got older.I love the large bathroom. As the in unit washer and dryer.I thought it was odd to have granite countertops but not have an inlaid sink. The kitchen bar was a little too narrow to be useful as anything but a divider between the kitchen space and the rest of the space. I think this got changed when they upgraded units to be wider so it could actually act as a place to eat. I did appreciate having a gas stove, when I moved to another city, not a single apartment offered gas stoves. The mail room people are great. The door man is great. The maintenance is amazing. Its a really nice gym for an apartment building. The hot tub is indoor so you can enjoy it all year long, and there is an indoor swimming pool for serious swimmers, though the outdoor pool is much more fun in the summer. While I was there, the cost of parking in the parking garage was reasonable for the area. Its expensive to park in Chicago, theres no getting around that.I left becomes I moved to another city. I wasnt able to find an apartment quite a nice as The Streeter in my new city. It makes me appreciate The Streeter even more. Also, The Streeter didnt hassle me at all at move-out. Ive heard of some apartments that charge you for new paint, carpet, etc. even if you leave it in good condition. So I think its good to report that moving out was a smooth process.
I love the building and amenities. My two dogs love the building too. This is a pet friendly building. Close to shopping, beach and dining.
Now third year we live in this towerReally i feel this is my homeQuite place, good services, kind staffAnd professional managementDont hesitate to live here
A very beautiful place to live
Impressed with the building and the overall facilities. I could totally live here!
I hesitate posing a review on here because I don’t want to increase the demand for apartments at this building (increasing our rent) but The Streeter has lived up to everything we wanted.
Make sure you bring an id they will not show other wise!
Gigantic jenga and liquor. Enough said.
