I feel compelled to write a review after the great service I have received from Paco and his team. After years of struggling with my IT, I was referred to Paco from another colleague. When you hire Prodigy, you are hiring them for the service and knowledge and not their pricing. From my first consultation with Paco, it has been nothing but smooth sailing. They communicate everything, every step of the way.I was most impressed with their service this morning. They did some re-wiring and last night and this morning, my network was not working at 100%. I called their after-hours support at 6am, and with the urgency of the matter, Paco called me back within minutes. He had his crew back here within the hour and they fixed everything.Two thumbs and and five stars for Paco and his crew.Thanks guys.

I wouldn’t recommend this place AT ALL!! You think during the pandemic they would be happy to have business but that isn’t the case. I went in today to have my laptop looked at. I was told by the receptionist they stopped taking walkins but he would email them to see what he could do so I had a seat and that wasn’t a problem if they didn’t take walk-ins fine, I was going to make an appointment. The receptionist later tells me that they’re referring me to go to some other store that was 10 minutes away. I told him I’m happy to make an appointment if I can’t be seen today and he says oh well they just recommended that you go somewhere else so I told him no thank you.

In addition to relying on ProdigyTeks to troubleshoot our tech problems, weve contracted with them to provide remote tech support for my father-in-law. Its challenging for him to discern whether an alert on his laptop requires action, or whether its clickbait, and ProdigyTeks provides invaluable peace of mind (for a reasonable price) to ensure his computer is safe. With remote access, they can jump on and troubleshoot during COVID when we cant be there. The team is always professional, reliable, and truly delightful to work with--and theyve saved my data more than once! Highly recommend.

I called Paco and used his services for my boyfriends computer. He was able to unlock the computer because we didnt know what the password was. He was able to add all types of programs and even added more memory to get the computer to work properly. Started my business with Prodigy Teks help in 2014. The service and RESULTS were exactly what I was used to and what I expected -- the BEST. No down time, never a security breach.This seems like a long time ago but it was only four years. Prodigy Teks had not been around for more than a year I think. I may have been one of his first business customers. I wasnt a small business. I was a micro business. No one was willing to help me set up a network, or for that matter, anything. I was used to the best and I wasnt prepared for the possibility that the best wasnt going to be available to me.Paco decided to take on the challenge of a somewhat difficult customer who was dealing not only with his own business needs, but the private files of clients as well. My situation wasnt beyond his skills, by any means, and it wasnt all that different than a simple home network. But --in many ways it was quite different. There were many choices to be made, considering ease of use, remote access, and above all else rock solid security and disaster preparedness. Prodigy Teks did at all. I am still running today on my original setup. I could not recommend the service with more enthusiasm.

ProdigyTeks were amazing to work with. My company opened a south side office and the WiFi strength was a bit of a dessert. We contacted ProdigyTeks to help with WiFi wiring for our office space. This office space had a lot of Wifi deserts within the building and a lot of walls and barriers to maneuver. Superb. I think that’s the best way I can describe my experience with Prodigy Teks.When I inquired about my dinosaur Macbook (unibody late 2008 aluminum) my MacBook began to slow down. I would try not to save anything on there to keep it at a decent speed. I could not upgrade from Snow Leopard iOS without affecting the memory and possible glitches. So trusting that Prodigy teks would help me, I had the convenience of the drop off service and hoped for the best.So, my macbook is running like new. I am ecstatic that I do not have to purchase a new one anytime soon and can continue to load programs like Indesign, Photoshop and Premiere with NO LAG time between functions and still play Spotify music at the same time. I can now facetime, iMessage and text non-iphone users from my macbook which is a current feature of the newer macbooks. I am on one of the most current iOS for my macbook and running faster than before.I could not recommend Prodigy Teks enough. I am sure that they faced a great challenge when they met my Macbook but am glad they did not give me the run around, did not say “no, theres nothing we can do” and instead were able to extend the life of my macbook for an extremely reasonable price.

It all started when my laptops USB port was not operating properly. I contacted one of the Prodigy Teks technicians and he was of great help. He gave me a reasonable estimate to fix it and was willing to work with my time schedule. He was so helpful. If I ever need any type of repair on my laptop or desk top I will definitely be going back to Prodigy Tek. One very satisfied customer right here!

I am very happy with the quality of ProdigyTeks service! My laptop had a damaged HDD and I was not able to recover any data by myself. PridigyTeks specialists did recover all the data and none of it was damaged! They also changed failed HDD for a new SSD. I was very pleased when they took my suggestion regarding new SSD and installed the one I picked. They also reinstalled Windows 8.1 and put all drivers needed which saved a lot of time for me. But what is most amazing is the price for the whole service! They gave me 50$ student discount so it was even more affordable!
