They are scammer. They told money for background checks and still denied you after providing all documents asked for. The are thieves

They state equal opportunity housing on their apartment ads, but yet once you tell they you have one they stop responding. My son is a client of Thresholds and his counselor told us theyre running into this with a lot of Thresholds clients trying to rent with subsidy housing through Catholic Charities. When you view the unit they say yes they accept the voucher, but stop any communication after that. Discrimination. They sure knew how to take the application fee though. SMH

Building had pest infestations that were never addressed, maintenance calls had to followed up on 3-4 times before they would be addressed, company charges tenants for all utilities through a third party service that they manage and tenants are charged a sign up and monthly fee for the service on top of the utility bill, not responsive at end of lease for how to cancel utilities or turn over keys.

I would strongly recommend staying away from this management company. They are very poor at responding to emails about any problems you have with your unit or the complex. They are also slowing adding Airbnb Units to their apartment complexes in Chicago. So your apartment will not feel like home with strangers constantly coming in and out of your complex. They also did not have any signs enforcing masks to be wore during the pandemic until months after it started. Which clearly shows they dont care about your well being or safety with guest staying in Airbnb units from all over the country. Im so happy I moved out and went with a professional management company.

Great experience. Moved in April 1, we LOVE our apartment and they have been prompt with email and have gone above and beyond fixing up our unit

Stay away from this proprety managment company. They are terrible. Ive been trying to get a hold of my building manager for 7 days, emails voice mails, phone calls nothing. They treat people like garbage.
