Me & my two adult sons (and a family friend) spent a father/sons day with probably (in our minds) the best fishing charter boat on Lake Michigan. Capt. Ian & Capt. Kevin did an awesome job & we enjoyed the entire experience. We had a morning excursion scheduled but due to the rough waters, Kevin suggested that we wait until mid-day to see if the lake laid down, which it did some. Instead of taking our deposit (like some would have) they worked with us and we went out for an awesome afternoon with Capt. Ian & first mate Chris. We ended up catching some nice lake trout, Coho salmon and the largest rainbow trout Ive seen. Hats off to Kingfisher Charters to a very fun & memorable day with my sons. I will definitely spend a day with them in the future and will refer to any family & friends who want the same experience. Id give more stars but am only allowed to give give 5!!

Took the family out and Captain Kevin had us on fish right after we arrived at our spot. We caught as many as we could handle, and Marcus had them expertly cleaned and cut into filets before we eased into harbor. The VIP experience - worth every penny with the best crew in Chicago.

One of the best charters I have been on! Captain Jeff and Jessica were so welcoming and very knowledgeable!!! We had fish on in the first 15 minutes! Fish bite the more captain Jeff dances. Would highly recommend them for anyone looking to catch Salmon/Trout in Chicago. Big thanks again to Captain Jeff and Jessica for an amazing experience!

Took a Charter out with my Son for his birthday/Fathers day and let me tell you these guys are top notch first class. Kevin put us on the fish right from the start and we were catching them for the whole trip . Ive been on other charters and we did good but this was the best trip Ive been on. Kingfisher is the only charter I will use for now on . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. You will not be disappointed thanks for the trip of a lifetime.

Fantastic experience. First contact with Capt Ian before even booking was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and honest with no BS. Capt Kevin actually chartered our boat and exceeded all expectations. He was easy going, easy to talk to, extremely knowledgeable, and put us on the fish. Ive chartered several salt water boats and I wasnt expecting a fresh water charter to be the best Ive been on. Cant wait to take another trip with these guys!

Don’t even know where to begin! Had a charter cancel on us last week then I found these guys! They have 3BOATS out of Belmont harbor! Super cool and put us on the fish fast! Jeff was our captain and his wife first mate. Such good down to earth people. I would recommend these guys to everybody! Stop your search now and call the best king fisher charters!! They graciously accepted us last minute after a different charter company captain came down ill with the flu unexpectedly. Couldnt have been happier with their service. In short, Captain Kevin is the real deal. If youre lucky enough to find an open slot on Kingfisher Charters - TAKE IT.We fish A LOT and this was one of our best experiences to date. Beyond the little things ie: being punctual, giving a helpful safety run down and making you immediately feel comfortable on the boat.... Kevin is an exceptional guide whos extremely skilled/knowledgeable in his trade. Youll catch fish and impressive ones at that.I also have to mention, he was the hardest working guide weve ever experienced. There was never a now we wait scenario. Kevin was constantly checking the gear, wind, bait etc... he didnt sit down. We were the second leg of his day but you would NEVER know it. The guy is truly impressive and fishing is his calling.We caught 7 fish - 5 of which were MONSTER lake trout. Each and every reel was a thrill!.. Much to our dismay we dont live in Chicago but every time were in town for a visit, a day out with Captain Kevin will be on the agenda.Kevin, if you happen to read this - huge THANKS again for an AWESOME time!! WARNING THIS CAPTAIN COMMUNICATES WITH THE FISH IN LAKE MICHIGAN.I think he speaks fish and tells them to wait for his bait.This is the only boat I will go fishing on Lake Michigan . I have been on plenty of charters Capt Kevin is the best fisherman hands down. No matter what time or what the weather Capt Kevin will show you a great time, And you will take home lots of fish too. King fishing charters was great, captain Pat and first mate Marcus were excellent. We caught our limit on trout in the first hour which was fortunate. The experience was excellent and Pat and Marcus made the experience extremely enjoyable. I am definitely going back and recommend them to anyone looking to entertain clients or just looking for a fun time on lake Michigan.

Had a great trip out with Captain Patrick Ignatuk! He worked very hard to get us the most fish and good fishing spots. We got a lot of fish. Salmon, rainbow trout and lake trout. Its pricey but worth it! Helpful and friendly owners with my questions and travel advice.

I have fished with Capt Ian and Capt Kevin twice now and they are the best! We caught a ton of fish, almost our limit, and the Captains are laid back and fun to hang with on the boat. Their knowledge and experience are clear and they are happy to answer questions and help you learn how to reel em in. I set up a bachelor party for a 6 hr trip and we had a blast. If you are looking for a true Chicago and fishing experience, these are your guys.
