I booked the cycleboat for my work team outing, and so happy I did! We had 11 people total, which all fit onto the boat comfortably. Our boat guide was Alexis, and she really amplified the experience by being so welcoming, informative and easy-going. She also suggested a few different spots on the river for us to take group photos for the best view. We loved the fact that Cycleboats provided a bluetooth speaker and iced coolers throughout the boat as well. Overall, we had a great experience on the cycleboat and would highly recommend!

Monica is dope. Mark is also dope. 5 stars, I’d do it again if I lived in Chicagoland!

Great boat trip! We did the 1.5 hour cycle boat trip for a bachelorette party and it worked great! The boat was perfect for friends to enjoy a nice day on the river and have lunch with a view. Everyone in our party enjoyed it whether they actually pedaled or not- it nicely accommodated those who wanted to pedal or relax. The boat was clean and perfectly set up for a group to enjoy with a table and coolers in the middle. Corey and Willy D took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the trip. Would highly recommend for a group outing!!

Our team had such a great experience with Chicago Cycleboats!! We booked the two hour boat tour and it did not disappoint! You get a nice boat with amazing views of the city and it came equipped with built in coolers and fun cycle seats. Our captain Corey and his crew man Sean were the best! They made sure we were having a good time and were very friendly. Thank you Sean and Corey, we all had a good time.

What a great group activity. 14 of us celebrated our friend’s 30th. Captain and deckhand, Corey and Will were awesome making sure it was a smooth, fun ride, and kept everything clean on the boat. Canopy kept us dry even on the rainy day. Music was high energy and atmosphere was relaxed. Cycling seats were fun options, but most of the time our group moved around the boat mingling, dancing, drinking, and snacking. Plenty of room. Such a great affordable summer option for a big group, will definitely be planning on going back.

Cory our boat pedal pilot was awesome and made my birthday amazing!!! Truly swift and such an easy process plus the views were wonderful during the 645PM- 815PM slot. Plenty of golden hour sun and gorgeous skyline pictures! My group will be returning annually!

We had a wonderful time renting the entire boat for 90 minute cruise. Location was easy to find based on information from the organization. Rest rooms are right at the dock site. Captain Cory and Crewman Will were affable, friendly, and ready to help in any way! Lots of fun even though we had a bit of rain. The boat is motorized if you want to stop pedaling :)

I totally recommend Chicago Cycleboats. We went out yesterday for a company team event and had the best time. Our captain and first mate were absolutely amazing and made sure we all had a great time. Everyone loved the experience and the boat was perfect with the built in coolers, Bluetooth hookup, beautiful views, and great staff. Would totally love to do this again.

Overall fun experience! One passenger got stuck in the bathroom and we had to reroute back to the dock for them to release the lock. The crew was calm and acted quickly. A little bummed that it took from our time (i.e., additional time wasn’t offered for needing to reroute to the dock).

I highly recommend Chicago Cycleboats! We went for my sisters bachelorette party with a group of girls and we had an absolute blast! The first mate and captain even stopped with the Chicago skyline in the background so we could take lots of pictures! So fun!

I got the private 90 mins cruise w/some of my co workers and we had the best time w/Captain Monica and Brady on board! Highly recommend this to anyone who want the best of both worlds-a pedal tavern on the Chicago River

Was a total blast!!!!!! Captain Monica and Will were awesome ! It was my sons last night in Chicago before moving to Europe. There was no better send off then seeing our beautiful city with family and friends signing and cocktailing. We had the option of river and lake or river we decided on the river because it was less windy and Captn kept us in the sun. Next trip will opt for the Lake. Would def recommend!

Great for group events. No heat source so keep in mind for booking around cooler season. Great work out if you want, but dont have to pedal. Bench seating on back of boat gives peaceful time to enjoy the ride. Restroom on boat is nice too, not scary or dirty.

Mike was a great captain and deserves 5 stars! Took the best photos and brought us to the best lookouts and even let us have a bathroom break. Only reason for leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the address that they give is wrong. I called them because i showed up to the address that they literally use in the email confirmation and they said “no the gps is actually wrong you have to go between lasalle and wells” which is pretty disappointing since that was a solid 10min walk along the river front and we walk fast so we wouldnt be late but i feel like most people it would take more than 15minutes to walk from the address they gave and the one where the boats actually are. Why send a confirmation email with the wrong address - and then blame the gps for taking us to the wrong place when you know everyone is using google maps ??? PLEASE GIVE PEOPLE THE RIGHT ADDRESS !!! At the very least provide the intersection we need to go to in the email saying its between lasalle and wells would have saved us a huge headache.

My friends and I came out to celebrate my birthday a few weeks ago. We all enjoyed our time and the cycleboat wasn’t too hard to pedal. The captain, Monica and Tony were a lot of fun and very accommodating. You are able to play your own music which made it even more fun! I will definitely be recommending and cycling again!

Honestly so impressed by Chicago Cycleboats! After the Cycleboats didn’t work out in our numbers, they accommodated us in a different boat. They didn’t have to do that and we didn’t ask, but their crew was so wonderful that they didn’t even have a second thought about having a plan B for us. Even though we didn’t do the cycle boats we had the best time still and that is thanks to Chicago Cycleboats! I will be 100% be coming back to do the Cycleboats and recommending it to anyone I know! Chicago Cycleboats was the perfect night downtown on the river. We had a mixed group of Chicago-natives, and a few couples who were new to the area, for our trip. Such an awesome way to see the city, get a little exercise and hang out with friends. Those that didnt want to cycle didnt have to b/c theres only a certain amount of seats for cycling, so no pressure for my wife that prefers to simply mingle! We even saw some fireworks!!

I booked a private cycleboat with Chicago Cycleboats for my sister’s bachelorette party and we had the best time! Monica and Mike were so great and made the whole thing easy and fun. They were really accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great experience. Even though the weather wasn’t the best, the boat has a top to it so even in down pouring rain it didn’t affect our ride. They took us to a great spot with a view and took a ton of group photos. Would definitely do it again and recommend to anyone looking for a fun activity in Chicago!

I went with a group of 8 girls for a bachelorette party. I was a bit unsure of how this was going to be, but it ended up being a really good experience and it was a lot of fun! We shared the boat with about 6 other people who turned out to be really cool. We had a playlist that one of our girls created and we were able to play it pretty loud on the boat. It was fun! Monica and Michael were our captains and they made it a really great experience. It was really nice being able to bring drinks and snacks on board. I am usually pretty cheap and dont like to spend money, but for the occasion it was money well spent.
