The staff at Midwest express has been a reliable and patient resource to our family throughout covid. We have needed tests so many times over the last year+ to keep us in school and at work. And they are so good with the kids. The online check in is awesome in reducing wait times. Thank you!!

It was an excellent experience using Midwest Express Clinic. I had a cut on my leg from a hockey puck. More blood than I’m used to seeing. My 1st thought was ER. But the bleeding had mostly stopped & it was wrapped well & tight enough. My friend, a real awesome dude, suggested Urgent Care so we went to one & they didn’t take my insurance. He had a dog bite treated at Midwest so I called my insurance nurse line she suggested Midwest as well, part of the plan. Went to Midwest, lady out front - awesome - got it going. Small wait but I wasn’t in danger.!The nurse, Linda - even more awesome. She unwrapped it, rinsed it off, put some antibacterial stuff on it, might have put some sort local anesthetic on it, took a good look at it - got some skin out of the way. Cleaned it up. No need for stitches. Wrapped it lightly with a pad & some Bacttracin & !I was good to go. I cannot thank Nurse Linda & the reception person enough. Thank you.

I really hate giving this location one star, as the doctor and nurse practitioner were knowledgeable and extremely friendly. HOWEVER, management of the wait times and waiting rooms was borderline negligent. I got in line via the online system at approx. 7:30 a.m. for an 8:55 a.m. time slot. I sat with my six-year-old in an overly crowded waiting area for 45 minutes before being called back at 9:40 a.m. When I say overly crowded, multiple people were forced to stand or sit on the floor. Meanwhile, one of the patients waiting was coughing up a storm as the rest of us shot one another glances. It was clearly not her fault for being sick, but if you are visibly/audibly exhibiting COVID symptoms, you should be placed in a quarantined waiting area - whether that be in your own car or a private room. Ive been to several other urgent clinics in the city during COVID (usually for return to school testing from trips), and Ive never experienced this type of wait or overcrowding. Another mom seated next to me left with her child, as she did not feel safe (we discussed it prior to her departure). If I had not been next in line at the time, I would have done the same. I really do feel sorry for the staff, as they were lovely. But I wont be returning to this clinic.

Accommodating friendly and professional staff. As a Canadian trying to get home, they were one of the only clinics that would accommodate my partner and I. Super friendly staff. Wait was long but that’s our own fault, we walked in with no appointment. I would recommend booking if you can. No walk-in appointments after 6pm. Also, overheard one of the staff members say “no walk-ins after 6, but if they are elderly we always take them, it’s my rule”… so nice to hear that.

I needed a flu shot so I did a walk in - I was there for 15 minutes, in and out! They gave me a form that I could show my employer. All staff was friendly and helpful! Highly suggest

This was the best clinic I’ve ever visited. The wait times were average; I could tell they were very busy (peak Covid testing time), but once I was signed in, they got to me in about 15 minutes. Everything was clean and orderly. The practitioner who saw me listened to and understood my issue right away. She was incredibly empathetic and decisive. I could tell that she was doing everything she could to make the experience convenient. She put my prescription order in as fast as she could, told me how I could get my test results without having to come back in, and gave me a ton of helpful information, while answering all my questions. I was so thankful to feel like everything I had to say was heard and considered. I definitely left with the appropriate treatment and will be recommending this place to all of my friends who need a quick doctors visit.

The best urgent care experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was efficient, kind, and helpful. The office is also very clean. Despite being busy, they talked me through everything thoroughly and made sure I felt taken care of. Definitely a great alternative if you can’t see your PCP.

Came in for chest pain and swallowing, they did an excellent job explaining things to me in an honest, human way and prescribed me two reflux medications. Hopefully these do the trick, but the people who saw me said dont ever hesitate to come back for a follow up and another procedure if it takes a bit, and thats fine because I feel like I can trust this place!

Personally, I have always had a fear of healthcare systems due to extremely high anxiety. It has kept me away from wellness exams (bloodwork, etc.) for well over 10 years. Yesterday I took a step towards taking care of my health and had the best experience in my adult life at Midwest Express Clinic. Everyone was very kind and made me feel as comfortable as possible which speaks volumes. Big thank you Michael and to all the staff!

I went to two different Midwest Express Clinics and in both I was greeted by especially friendly and capable receptionists. At the first clinic I saw the PA, Laura F who was absolutely wonderful- knowledgeable, caring, listened and diagnosed my symptoms quickly. At the second clinic where I had the ultra sound the technician was equally great.I wish I lived in Chicago so I could use Midwest Express Clinics for everything!

Great experience from the moment I walked in the door was greeted immediately from the front desk nurse who was so nice. The nurse and Doctor who were attending were amazing and so much fun!I would highly recommend them if you are in need of immediate care. Nice to know that they’re open on a Sunday evening until 8 o’clock where everyone else closes early.You will not regret going here for help!

My mom, who is limited in English, had some emergency health condition that required urgent care on Sunday I’m so glad that I chose this clinic for my mom. The staff was so friendly and doctor Christina was so caring and helpful. They truly care about your health and I think this will be my mom’s new first choice clinic!

I I could give zero stars, I would. Needed a Vitamin B12 shot, as I am severely deficient. It’s a harmless water soluble vitamin with no known toxic levels in humans. They wouldn’t give me one as I had one the week prior, saying it’s an AMA rule that they must be given monthly. Weird, because I could get an “upgraded” B12 shot every week, for 150% more money. Seems fishy and like they were making up rules on the fly to sell me more expensive product.Went to another clinic 10 minutes away. They say this AMA rule isn’t real, and even offered to sell me an at home injection kit so I wouldn’t have to keep coming in for simple, harmless B12 shots. Avoid this place.UPDATE:I tried responding to the phone number listed in their response to sort this out. It’s a disconnected number. Incredibly bad service.

I saw Micheal today and he was absolutely amazing and was so helpful trying to get to the root of my fatigue after I passed a perfectly healthy physical wellness exam. And listened to all my questions and concerns!.The receptionists and assistants here are also all very sweet!.I will definitely be coming back to this location if I have any future health concerns and would recommend them to friends!.Their hours also work with my tight schedule and I’m able to get in before work which is also incredible!.

The clinic was very prompt. The doctor that attached to me was narrative and the 2 African American female that assisted her were also did a very tremendous job!I would go there again if l need more help.

The doctors here are so wonderful. Both Christina and Michael have taken care of me recently. It meant a lot to speak with someone so kind when I wasn’t feeling well. I also went previously for COVID issues and the doctor was compassionate and very proactive. In addition the front desk staff are so lovely. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, this place is the best.

Took my daughter to get a COVID test (which came back negative) and the whole experience was stellar. I registered for an appointment online and was able to do my paperwork online ahead of time. I called when got there and they let us in a secluded door. The Medical Assistant and Nurse Practitioner were both great and put my daughter at ease. Highly recommend this place and my daughter wants to go back.

Billing department is a nightmare. I went to get a mono test in February and (Dr?) Michael kept pressuring me to get a service I didn’t need despite telling him no multiple times. He CONTINUOUSLY claimed it was “no big deal” and he WANTED to do it for me. I reluctantly agreed and a few weeks later, I was charged $75 for a non-insurance covering service. I called billing multiple times and had to wait on hold for an hour to file an appeal for the charge. Nobody ever got back to me, and today I received a notice from a collection agency. Extremely unethical, unprofessional, and frustrating. Still not sure what will happen unfortunately.

This office has always been friendly and in efficient in their service! Though my primary care is downtown, Midwest Express Clinic is much closer to my home for urgent needs, and I feel welcomed there.

Got a Covid test here and it was very quick and easy. The person giving me the test was super nice. Will go back if I need more.

Quick and easy rapid COVID test, also appreciated that a strep test was recommended to be thorough and rule things out.

Called before coming to the clinic and was reassured that I didn’t need to make an appointment (even though I tried) and that there would be no wait. I arrived ten minutes later and was given a 40 minute wait time. 🙄

Cant produce an accurate bill and sent me to collections. I waited 6+ months for a bill that included deductions for insurance coverage. After countless hours on the phone to straiten the situation out, Midwest Express Medical never sent a bill but instead sent me to collections. Simply ridiculous!

Flew in from TX for Lollapalooza and needed a rapid COVID test. I was in and out with no appointment within 45 min. I wish more places were this efficient.

From the initial phone call to the time i left office, every single staff member was super kind and attentive. Michael made me feel so comfortable and walked me through everything. Would absolutely recommend this quickcare to anyone!

This is a great place I like the fact that you can register and save your place online I would return and I would return and I would suggest anyone else to go there too . The covid test process was simple and very easy and very fast.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect, but everyone was so friendly, helpful, and efficient. The facility is clean and feels very modern. I cannot say enough good things.

I had injured my neck the day before. After getting a good nights sleep, I discovered I was still in pain. So I called my insurance and they recommended Midwest Express as the closest place to my house. I made an appointment through their website, which was very easy. Then showed up for my appointment time and was taken almost immediately. Very courteous staff and I was able to get the help I needed. Will definitely go to them again for non-life threatening injuries.

I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough! With available parking it is very convenient. When you enter the lobby it is very clean and the staff very friendly with an immediate greeting to you. The seats are spaced far enough apart for social distancing but there are plenty to be had. The examining room was also clean and had comfortable accommodations and a TV to watch while I was waiting. X-rays are also available on site which saved me time from going to another location and helped get a rapid diagnosis on my shoulder. My nurse practitioner Michael could not have been any nicer or more concerned. I felt a level of comfort with him that usually takes years to develop with your physician. Keep up the great work, I will be back again!!! 👍👍

Make sure to reserve a check-in time for any COVID-19 tests. Walk ins will be a MUCH longer wait. The staff is swamped but will be helpful in getting you what you need. I was in and out of the facility within 40 minutes - this includes the sign in, wait, and my test.

Very nice facility located in a very nice neighborhood! Getting the Lipo-B shot was as easy as making a transaction at the store. They were very informative and friendly, definitely will visit again for my next round!

My 4 year old had come in for COVID test. Christina was so sweet and gentle with him and made him feel very comfortable. When his test came back negative, she checked his ears for an ear infection in case that was what was causing his symptoms. She gave us tips and tricks to use at home to help get rid of his cold quicker. She was great. I would definitely recommend this urgent care and we would come back for any other immediate services. This clinic and staff have been wonderful! I had a non-covid related injury and they were able to see me right away, the PA who saw me went above and beyond making sure my injury was being properly looked at and cared for - from my first visit to now. Thanks so much Michael!

Scheduled a covid test and waited for over an hour past the slot I had scheduled. Would not recommend if you are on any sort of time crunch or don’t like waiting in a lobby full of people

Quick, politely heard all of my issues, and my experience with my same conditions I have had before, resolution was quickly determined. More quicker than the emergency room, in my opinion.

Registered and checked in online so by the time we got there, they verified our insurance and we were in and out within 30 minutes. The nurse practitioner was thorough and very pleasant.

Not professional, they took a throat swab to send to lab. Get home and get they call to say they didnt do it right so i had to go back and do it again.

I received very good treatment by the entire staff!They were very caring! I would definitely recommend!

Im giving 5 stars because everything was quick, efficient and professional. Im obviously happier because my insurance covered my visit but if I had to pay out of pocket then at least I would have gotten good service.

My family and I came to the clinic for COVID testing. Our experience was great. Every staff member we interacted with was wonderful. The staff member who took our vitals was amazing with my four year old and very patient. The PA who administered our tests was extremely friendly, informative, and warm. My four year old enjoyed the clinic so much that he keeps asking to go back to the place that was really fun. Highly recommend the Roscoe Village location to anyone.

Since the pandemic started, I avoided any medical services. Yesterday, I had to get imaging done, I googled and found this place closest to me. I walked in, and I said WOW very clean and net place the staff was very friendly and helpful. So, I highly recommend this place for any imaging service 👍

From the second I walked in the office everyone was so kind. They listened and answered like they genuinely care about me, which is usually not what you get from an urgent care. They didn’t rush me in and out of the room so they could get through people as quick as possible. They really took their time to ask questions and make me feel comfortable. At the end the GP told me her schedule so if I wanted to see her specifically when I came back for me follow up I could. She then gave me the information to tell the next doctor if I decided to come in on a day she wasn’t working. Such an easy and pleasant experience. 10/10 would recommend.

After recent exposure to Covid I was looking for a place that was convenient and hopefully within my insurance plan. I did not have to make an appointment but could walk in and have peace of mind sooner.The people were so nice and helpful. I would go back and will tell others about it.

AWESOME experience. Got me in and out quick and had results in 3 days.Came back and got tested again (first one was too soon after exposure) and same experience...this time got results in two days.Really quick and efficient video follow up when results come in.This place is whats up!

I don’t leave reviews often, but I was so impressed with my experience here! I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Every person I interacted with was so welcoming and helpful. I was even able to add on a procedure/test I didn’t originally make the appointment for, and I was so glad to hear they could accommodate my request.

The staff here are really warm and friendly.Ive been in twice for a COVID-19 test and saw Michael both times. He is very kind and thorough. Both of my tests were negative but Michael took time to not just do the tests but also diagnose me properly. If hed just done the test and sent me on my way, I likely wouldnt have received the treatment I needed.Ive experienced a lot of very dismissive doctors and have lived with untreated illnesses because of it. But I trust Michael and the rest of the staff at Midwest Express in Roscoe Village with my care and usually prefer to go here over my GP for a lot of things because theyre fast, reliable, and caring.

I could not have happier with my experience at Midwest Express Clinic Roscoe Village. Every single person I came in contact with was kind, and a true professional in their tasks, especially Micheal. He was personable and friendly. I immediately felt at ease with him. I wish I could remember ever ones name as they were wonderful too. I never even felt the tetanus shot!

I went here for a covid test. The nurse was nice enough but be warned - theyre going to charge you just to get your results. The test ended up being over $160 for an office visit (I got a test in their parking lot..) and then they make you set up a second appointment for $115 so they can tell you your results. Extremely unnecessary and complete garbage, really.Edit: Theyve responded with that phone number below but Ive called the number 5 times and no one has answered and it doesnt seem to be their real number either.

Everyone was amazing .When I first entered, even the woman at the front desk was so nice and helpful and great to be around while I waited. And the wait wasn’t very long at all.The nurse who evaluated me was so sweet and listened very thoroughly to everything - and there was a lot to listen to because of everything that’s been going on with me in the pandemic, so it was so thoughtful and kind on top of doing a great job.Then the Nurse Practitioner came in and she could have very easily misdiagnosed or spoke down to me but instead she listened so carefully and was very empathic.That’s when the nurse came back in to take my blood — which I hate doing because I hate needles and I have literally had to have like 13 vials of blood taken over the past week at the hospital (which was done by some incompetent dude who left me with bruises that I STILL have a week later). She was patient while I brought up some soothing music on my phone because I knew it was gonna hurt because she had to use one of the same veins as last week. She was very good with the needle and left no extra marks or pain or bruises in a place that was already sensitive. Honestly I’m really impressed.When we were done, I saw stickers and asked if I could have one and she immediately said yes if it would make me feel better (I’m 31) so I picked a Spider-Man one. And it definitely did make me feel better.I was out quickly after and very happy with the service and the kindness. Highly recommend.

Extremely friendly staff! Just got my COVID test on Wednesday night and received my results the next day which is a quick turn around for a standard test. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

Registration was easy. I recommend using your phone vs a laptop to register. A text was sent to me 15 min prior that the appointment time was approaching. We called the clinic from the parking lot to notify our arrival and the receptionist was kind, and very detailed in instructions. The nurse who administrated the test was very calm and assured us it was not going to hurt. She was correct. The Provider was great . He was very clear with his updated information on COVID-19, especially how it applied to our situation. We are expected to have our results in 3 to 5 days of testing. Seamless process, plan about 30-40 min at the most from start to finish. Also the Clinic was very clean and I felt very safe being there.

I went in for a simple pregnancy test. They took both a urine sample and a blood draw. Despite the fact that the young lady who drew my blood the first time was what seemed a bit nervous, I believe she had just started which is why when she put the needle in she was shocked when no blood was coming out. She took the needle out and apologize and went to get another staff member. She was still very friendly and pleasant to talk too.The second staff member that came was quick. She knew her stuff. Very nice.I liked the staff here. The reason I am giving them 3 stars is because I never received my results.I received a text message that my results were in the day after I went in for the blood draw. I called them, they took my information (Name, DOB, phone #) and said someone will call me with results. Nobody did. I gave them 3 days and nobody ever called me.I called them 4 times and they kept telling me the same thing.I went in on November 23rd, it is now December 15th and still have not received the call back with my results. Is it possible to get a refund ?? At this point I don’t need them to call me back I had to go to another location to get tested but Midwest shorted me $180 to not even get my results.

I needed a covid test unexpectedly to attend an event and this location at Roscoe Village got us in wick and were so friendly. What great doctors and staff.

Midwest Express Clinic was great! My family left the state over the holiday and was planning to quarantine for a couple of weeks unless we could get in for testing somewhere. We had low hopes given past experience with long wait lists, but they were able to get an evening appointment within hours!
