Staff was super friendly, and awesome music! Great look and feel to the place, good ambiance, this is why I chose to try it out.However the haircut was terrible! The fade lines were straight obvious lines across the side of my head, meaning there was no fade just two harsh areas of different guards. For my beard trim she shaved a patch all the way to the skin, luckily up under my chin so it wasnt as noticeable but completely removed a chunk of my beard.

Akela did an amazing job with my hair! I love the color. She really knew what she was doing and it explained it so well, especially to someone who knows so little about hair. She gave me great tips about how to keep my hair healthy and well managed in terms of color. Im looking forward to going back! Thanks!

This place is fantastic! I work nearby and stopped one night after work to check it out. Everyone was super professional - and it seems like they actually cared about the details. The stylist (I forgot her name!) really took time to understand what I wanted to checked in frequently to see if I liked the cut.The experience felt really personal from start to finish - and its a total plus that they use high-end products. I cannot recommend this place enough - especially if you work downtown.

Ive been getting cut and styled at Tailor for about 9 years. Ive never been disappointed with the look and the service is always excellent. Ive bounced around between several stylists over the years and every one of them is knowledgeable and professional. I never feel nervous going for a new look and mixing things up. Youre in good hands here. I cant imagine going anywhere else.

They are legit. $10 off your first and 2nd appointments. They want you to book your next one to get the $10 but I didnt mind, keeps me honest

I had one person pretty much cut my hair since I was a kid and due to my hair only 1 style but due to this person cutting their hours and my own need for more convenience to save time I started getting haircuts downtown at various places. Tailor Barber is 1 block from my work, has the ability to book anything you need online, took $10 off my 1st cut and another $10 off my 2nd cut if i booked immediately. I showed them how i wanted to smooth/straighten my wavy hair and part it via some IG photos. They did a tremendous job and even redid part of it again because part of my hair is so wavy it didnt take the 1st time. I was so impressed by the professionalism, ease of booking, and speed of the stylists that I purchased their yearly membership which gives you UNLIMITED cuts, beard trims, run in quick shampoos/styles, manicures and eyebrow waxes for $600!! Some downtown places price on how often you are going to come in (meaning every week, every 2, every 3, etc) this place doesnt. Its a tremendous value even just for the hair cuts; if you get your hair cut/trimmed up every 2 weeks thats ~$23 a cut. Factor in the eyebrow waxes and it comes down even further. It is such a tremendous service even when i need a trim/touch-up in between main cuts for a date night out or an important business meeting i can just quickly schedule something get myself trimmed up/out quickly and im ready to go. Give them a try! They only want to make you happy!
