Very helpful and polite waitresses... even if you know nothing about their cuisine, they will explain what is what... if it comes to the food, very delicious and fresh... everyone will find something for themselves... went there twice and definitely going back... strongly recommending New Furama!!!

The new decor is nice, gone is the super dirty carpet. But the manager is not the most friendly host, we asked to combine 2 tables together so all 16 of us can share a meal, he made such a big deal out of nothing. The dim sum is better than it use to be, but the new pricing is bit high, don’t think we will come back for a while.

Late DimSum Saturday 1:30pm dine in.The crowd was thinning, which allowed our big table a relaxed time to enjoy the meal. DimSum was by order sheet and brought out by the waitress, instead of the expected hawker steam carts. My wife ordered a few dinner menu dishes too. Peapod leaves and yu choi were well prepared. The kitchen was out of lamb, however, the alternative beef tendon casserole was excellent.Chrysanthemum tea was a fine pairing for our feast.

Love this restaurant. It is our family favorite. For one thing it has parking for those of us coming in from the suburbs. And it is also a bit away from the main part of Chinatown, so its not usually very crowded. They recently remodeled so it has a nice modern clean line look. The dim sum here is homemade and excellent.

It used to be better when i was a kid. I went to eat here recently and the food just didnt taste as good like it had been sitting out or sitting in the freezer for a while. My mom and I tried the dim sum. Its nice that they have a discount but it wasnt the best in my opinion. I wouldnt go out of my way to come here.

We had an excellent time at dim sum on Sunday. The food was great (most of it - there were a couple of things we could have lived without), the atmosphere is very nice, and the service was exceptional. The only complaint I have is the language barrier. I really needed an interpreter to figure out what some of the dishes were.

Parking is a but rough, havent been back in over almost 20 years and it still looks the same. The service could be a bit better, just seemed like people were getting rushed to finish. Food was okay but had better back in the day. Was surprised to see that it is still thriving which is good.

This is our family go place for dim sum since Won Kow closed. Like the sweet and sour chicken, shrimp and beef crepes, dumplings, Mongolian beef has a good flavor, no starch on beef. Most of the dim sum dishes are good . We generally go on weekdays as parking can be tight due to small lots. Service is good

The server literally rushed us to eat faster. She grabbed plates with food still in it and scrapped then in my dad’s plate( we were still eating at this time and it was still early and far from closing time).Don’t get me wrong, the food is good. It’s just the server was lacking too much hospitality.

Had a bad experience there a few weeks ago. My family and I drove down there on a Saturday night. There was no street parking and the lot was full, so we waited for awhile to use a free valet. Once we finally parked, we went inside and up the stairs to see a sign posted at the host stand that the restaurant was closed for a private party. No outside diners were allowed. SERIOUSLY? You couldnt put that sign downstairs and outside to save people the time and effort of parking and going inside? Very inconsiderate. That aside, though, the food here is on par with what youd expect at the Chinatown restaurants. This place is VERY popular for Chinese weddings.

Furama has undergone extensive remodeling - the location is very modern, clean, and re-designed. There are different rooms that can fulfill a variety of needs: host birthday parties/baby showers/ business meetings, karoake, MJ ... seems very versatile. The service is excellent - the owner, Nancy, is personable, welcoming, and considerate. She is very customer-service oriented and made me feel very comfortable during my two visits to the restaurant.I didnt get a chance to try the food as extensively as I would have liked, but the few dishes I had (a pumpkin dish and another vegetable dish) were delicious. I liked both the portions and the quality of the food.In summary - good ambience with the new remodel, excellent service, and good food ... I would return here again for another experience.

You are missing out if you dont come here!!!We had a craving for Dim Sum and swung by late Friday night. Holy smokes the food was AMAZING despite the late hour!!! Very very fresh and expertly prepared!!I particularly appreciated their rice noodle dough used to prepare the Cheung Fun and Har Gow. Most places are a bit dry cause its old dough, which is fine, but wowsers New Furama knocked it out of the park!!! Ooey gooey and perfectly glutenous with just this perfect al-dente texture that had a pleasant chewy bite but also melted in your mouth? What is this magic!? I honestly could have eaten just a plate of their plain rice noodles!!The wait staff was also top notch. They had the perfect touch of attentiveness without being disruptive. Ming, the host, was a perfect gentlemen with a fantastic smile and genuinely welcoming smile.I wish I caught the name of our waitress because she was amazing (sadly a rarity in many Chinese restaurants). We knew what we wanted to order however she still helped us pick out dishes in a collaborative way that inspired confidence in our choices. Like she wasnt pushy at all, and were familiar with Dim Sum, but she brought an extra level of richness and depth to the dishes with explaining what was in them or what they were. Who knew ordering Dim Sum could be so fun!?!?Finally the facilities are top notch!! As many have already pointed out its newly remodeled and it looks FANTASTIC!! Very modern and clean!! I remember the old restaurant, which was okay, but had this 80s look. The new interior and facilities has this premium feel to it--like youre at the Gold Coast or something, but with less hipsters and tight jeans!! =)The next time youre in Chinatown make that extra little drive and swing down to New Furama!! Its absolutely worth the trip. For two of my friends it was their first time trying Dim Sum and Im afraid theyre going to be spoiled for life!! =)
