The ppl in here are beyond rude starting with the employees but as the further you go you see they get it from their supervisor.I understand its a work establishment but they should not be allowed to handle people property careless and then talk to them careless. I did NOT receive my car back in the same condition I sent it in as. And thats when everything became an issue.

Our first time here, you also have to pay at another location which is downtown on w superior that they don’t tell you about until later

Towing and fork lift operator destroyed my Jeep. I have an E-Brake and 4WD. They decided to tow it for overnight parking ban violation WITHOUT DOLLY OR FLATBED. This vehicle cannot be towed with 2 wheels on the ground. Flat tow in neutral or flatbed is the only option.Strut(s) broken, alignment is completely off. Not to mention lifting a vehicle by the transmission with a freakin FORK LIFT. It now appears the transmission and/or PTU are destroyed/leaking. Great work guys.Filing a claim and will be suing if this doesnt get resolved quickly.

If you have the unfortunate experience of having your vehicle towed here, get ready for nasty attitudes by the women who work in the office. Be prepared to be sent off, meaning you can call ahead of time to see what all you need to bring to retrieve your vehicle and once you arrive, expect to need more. Be prepared to wait a while so bring something to eat and drink. Oh and expect to pay money. I think they send you off so you waste more time which adds to more storage fees, etc.

Very outgoing ladies that work front counter. Was in and out and treated me with understanding considering I was paying alot of money to get car out. Way more understanding and professional than city pound on lower Wacker drive.

Just make sure you have all the right documentation when retrieving your vehicle from this place.. Also make sure your vehicle has an updated city sticker and come with extra money and someone with a license if you dont have one.. And no outstanding tickets either..

If you have a chance avoid to get towed, trust me its worth it. In this Auto Pound they relocate vehicles with giant forklift which damages underneath of the vehicles.

My experience was awesome it was great the young lady that took care of me and the two young men that help me with the things getting out of my car was awesome.

This place was absolutely aweful. The staff is rude and has no sense of how to deal with people. No understanding and zero compassion. Pray you never have to deal with them under any circumstance. I did nothing wrong but try to retrieve my dead relatives things and they put me through hell and 5 hours of going back and forth. Unbelievable and unfortunate that people are so nasty. Not right.

I own a car dealership and had a vehicle a customer stolen impounded. I am in Iowa and got a list of everything needed to get the vehicle out of the impound, then once we get there they admit they forgot about one item and the officer I dealt with in Iowa was gone for the day. So we had to drive another 4 hours back home for another 8 hour round trip the next day. Then I specifically told them not to let the thief back into the vehicle, then guess what, they let her clear everything out of the car, owners manual, extra key. This place is a joke

THEY LIED AND SAID THEY DONT USE FORKLIFTS, I SEEN IT MYSELF AND HOW ELSE DO YOU MOVE TOWED CARS IF YOU DONT HAVE THE KEY. MY SUSPENSION WAS ALL MESSED UP WHEN IT WAS DRIVING FINE 24 HRS PRIOR. THEY WANT YOU TO GO THREW HOOPS TO GET YOUR CAR REPAIRED. AND IT CAN TAKE 4-6 TO REPAIR. CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT SHOULD BE IN THE MAKINGS.

If youre patient and courteous like you should be, you will get prompt, courteous service. Remember, its not their fault you werent a responsible vehicle owner. If you drive legally by the book, pay your tickets, drive and park responsibly you wont have to come here. They do their job the way they are supposed to.

This is the worst place to get your car towed! Period! I been here since 3:30pm and it’s now 10:10pm. Well the customer serous so rude. All these ladies in here are rude with strong mean attitudes. The cashier was rude. The men in the lot was rude. I don’t understand why this place is still running. I get to my car an it’s no gas. It won’t cut on. And then they had my car running all night!!? For what reason you would have my car running all night and how did you get in my car to have it running all night? Now my car won’t work at all! And no one I mean NO ONE is willing to help me or at least to try and warm my car up. This is so sad and all I see is everyone just laughing and talking to each other but is not trying to check on me an my car. I gave y’all all this money just to sit here an wait for another tow company to come an take my car home because they used up my gas an had my car running all day!!! That is not how business supposed to run at the pound especially if you don’t have the key. I’m telling you guys please if your car is here make sure you have the right paperwork the money and check your car all the way because they will use your car and trash it and look the other way. Ladies have a male with you or someone who knows about cars. Because I’m a young lady an don’t know anything about cars and all I’m hearing is my car is frozen. I was glad one of the ladies was very helpful I wish I knew her name she was an African American. The Hispanic female with the balck hair just standing around doing nothing, even if she sees people in line, she was acting like she was doing work and just when she feelt like taking care of the costumer shell go on the window to take care of the customer. Needs to work on her customer service attitude.

Terrible place. Move all cars with a forklift, completely obliterated my tailpipe and lost my registration card.

Of course when I went to retrieve my car, it was raining!(Down pours) I missed the small trailer and my GPS was no help! Had all documentation in order, no credit or debit card accepted. Went to locate my car and couldnt find it! The rain had stopped we just could not find my Nissan Quest!! Drove around in what I would consider a car grave yard. The driver shift had ended and he wouldnt give up until I had my car! It was very cold this day and the gentleman at the gate allowed me to wait inside the heated shack until my car was brought up front. I purposely went late at night so that I didnt have the Hassel of long lines. Wouldve been in and out of only they couldve located my Vehicle.

This auto pound is the worst towing lot EVER. They purposely make your life a living hell. They give you the wrong information to buy themselves more time to charge you more by the day. ANNETTE is one of their employees and she is beyond rude with the nastiest attitude you could imagine. She gets off on debating back and forth with you. Best of luck to you if you have to deal with them.

The worst experience ever .They tell u about 20 mins for your car but is actually like a 3 hour waiting time . And the people here are so rude its a mess here . Also make sure your car isnt damaged from the tow there is a lot of that going on.

My car was towed for an honest mistake I made on South State Street. My new car sustained over $2,000 in damages. The front bumper was damaged and they put a hole in my radiator which left the car undriveable. I discovered the radiator leaking out coolant as I was trying to change a tire that was punctured. I had already paid $170 for the towing services and was told to drive the car outside of the pound. They rendered my car inoperable and basically threw me out on the street. Thankfully I have roadside assistance. I still cant get anyone on the phone three days later to help me make a claim and file it with my insurance. This is a racket. The City of Chicago allows it to happen with a no-bid contract with United Road Towing. Such a great city but what terrible corruption that is apparently tolerated.

Its never fun to have to go to the auto pound to retrieve your car. That aside im handicap and the people at the impound lot where great. I never left the vehicle I came in my nephew went in did everything paid and the clerk brought the papers out to the car for me to sign. They made a bad situation as good as possible. Other cities should follow suit.

It only went quick for me because I had my registration, drivers license, and car insurance. And cash. Do not go there using a friends credit card, your name has to be on the credit card, and have exact change. It is an awful place!

These people have no compassion. My sisters husband was murdered in the vehicle that we went to pick up, and since the car was in her name they forced her to go into the pound to retrieve the vehicle. They refused to let me do it for her. We went to the pound together. She had all of the paperwork necessary. She had a panic attack and everything. After she recovered, they had her go into the pound and comply with their demands! NO HUMILITY

I went in to see if they had my truck there and there where 3 women at the window and only one working. I was the next person up and took them about 20 mins to call me up. After that I gave them the plate number and she said that plate number wasn’t there so then I went to the police station to see what was going on and the police officer told me the truck was there. So there I go back and forth wasting time I went back to the pound and I told her the officer said it’s there. She looked it up again and she found it 😑. Lack of effort trying to assist the people.
