Everybody go to the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint or scam review to get this place shut down. Something has to happen to this business and their employees for all the wrong they have done to so many people.

We had our car towed for parking for 5 minutes. After we got our car back we realized we were robbed of $600 and personal property. Disgusting “people” who will never get ahead in life for what they do.

I just got my truck towed by these guys they were out in 15 minutes and had me on the road in 10 minutes. Great guys I highly recommend them

SCAM!!! This towing company has scouts waiting at locations the minute you get our of your car. Even if you buy a product, they will still tow your car. This company is known for removing parking permits. Report to the Better Business Bureau.

I was a patron of two storefronts in the parking lot I parked in (dog daycare and nail salon), went and grabbed a coffee and my car was towed. A horrible way to treat a customer.

Negative stars! Paid over $200 tow fee all because I left the store for 5 minutes, even though I was returning to the store for purchase. Literally my car stayed in their tow lot for less than 10 minutes on the tow paper which shows I barely left the store parking lot. This is theft!

This is a place where you are easily scammed. My car was towed here and it took me $ 218 to get it out. I paid in cash for 11 $ 20 bills. I counted 3 times before paying them. But they said I only gave them $ 200. In the end, I had to give another $ 20. In all, it cost me $ 240 after I took the car. They did not return me change.It is recommended not to pay cash to them if you do not want to lose more money.

I cant say I love them, but I did park in the wrong parking lot, so its my fault I got towed.I called them, confirmed they had my car, then went and picked it up.All in all the paperwork took about 10 minutes, no nonsense, no drama.

Thieves, crooks, extortionists, whatever. This business is built on taking peoples cars hostage on a devious premise, then demanding ransom aka fees to get it back. Its a classic business model. For example....I parked my car in the lot of a closed business at 8am on a Sunday. The business was not open, and the parking lot was - no surprise - empty. I was in a rush because my next stop was to buy medicine for my 15 month old daughter so I quickly decided that Id park illegally. Went in to get coffee next door and returned about 5 minutes later. Car was gone. Now....did they have the right to tow my car? Yes. Does parking a car in the lot of a closed business on a Sunday morning warrant getting towed? And paying a bogus $196.00 (plus their bogus $2.50 invoice fee)? No. Was their driver hanging out and waiting for me to come along so he could tow my car? I think so. There was not enough time for this to happen otherwise.NOW, there is something that these jerks do that is technically wrong. They wrote that my car had nicks, dents and scratches all around on a form that allows them to abuse your detained car without any consequence. This is completely fabricated and I will be filing a compliant with the Illinois Commerce Commission. Hopefully they are fined at last as much money as they lifted from me.Jerks, thieves, extortionists. This is a shameful business.

Place is crooked. Car got towed from a parking lot I own! Would not release my car, I paid the fee and reported the charge to my bank and got a refund. Felt great. There’s a black guy at night he’s pretty easy going. There’s a Hispanic girl there she’s fat and disrespectful. Turned her back and wouldn’t even talk to me. She needs to lose weight so she can turn back and forth.

Came home to a car parked in our assigned spot at our apartment and got told there were no drivers because its Thanksgiving... how do you not have drivers on a holiday where people are likely to park wrongfully? She said theyre probably visiting family for Thanksgiving ummmm DUHHH but what does their excuse have to do with the fact that we have to park blocks away because its a holiday, while someone gets our spot literally right in front of the door? I absolutely love Lincoln Towing service. I am a business owner & people park in my driveways all the time. Ill be honest, if they didnt completely block the entrances of my driveways I wouldnt have even thought of contracting a tow company. Its ridiculous how ignorant people can be. How could you block the entrance of someones business? Plus as a business owner I have to pay the city for these driveways. $360 and people expect me to let them block my driveway and park for free? No, no, no, no, no. Be mindful of where you park. There are ALWAYS visible signs. Read carefully and remember that there are tow truck drives at Lincoln Towing that can tow your car in 30 seconds so dont even try it. If youre a business owner and you have a problem with people parking in your driveways and or parking lots, I highly recommend Lincoln Towing Service. When I called they were very professional and polite. Its nice to know there are still people in this day in age with manners.

$500 for a motorcycle towThey could not produce any type of pricing sheet or documentation to prove it was even the actual price. The invoice said $216 and that was crossed off with a pen and $500 was written in.Also he nearly shut the gate on me as I was driving out so I told him to go F himself, which felt pretty good.Update - I submitted a dispute with my credit card and was refunded $284. Feels good.Lincoln towing is a bunch of unethical crooks. Glad I was able to take a piece back from them. I hope that their loss of my $284 is a small contribution toward their entire organization going down like the Titanic.

THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN ASAP! I reported this place to the BBB yesterday. My car was parked in my work parking lot, where it has been parked WITH A PERMIT for the last 6 months, the cheap stickers fell off and it was laying in my back seat you see it clear as day - they towed it anyway! HOW AWFUL, I HAD A PERMIT AND YET IT WAS TOWED AND WE HAD TO PAY FOR IT?! When I called, the woman answering the phones must HATE her job because she just came back to me with attitude. Like really lady? If youre THAT miserable, get a new job. Anyway, I asked the tow drivers if they SAW my permit in the back seat, they acknowledged they saw it, but since it wasnt on the window and sitting in my back seat, it was towed. All that for some $220? Piss off, you guys are trash, and I hope they shut you down. Dont worry, I already informed the BBB. Too bad you cant give zero stars. Thats all your worth. ZERO.

My car was to be next, they hooked up their fork and yanked it out partially but they couldnt succeed since there was not enough room. Damaged this and another vehicle while doing so. Denied the whole incident even thou i have it all filmed on DVR. They claim my car was parked at different address thats why they tried to tow it. Video is time stamped and shows what happened, precise location included. Based on their reputation, they should loose their business license long. long time ago. I wonder why they still exist, what body of government allows them to be licensed and to legally steal without any punishment.

If you are a respectable business/lot owner you probably do not want to hire this company to do the towing on your parking lot. The people are very unpleasant, and will tow while you are standing next to your own car. My car was towed while I was not illegally parked and they were unwilling to listen, while one person was distracting me, the town truck came up and took my car. Yes, if someone is illegally parked, you tow them, that is your business, and we all have to make a living. But if someone is explaining to one person that they are not illegally parked, and your colleague sneaks up and takes the car, you should probably wonder if what you are doing is your job, or if you are stealing from people. I dont care about paying the money, I care about the way I was treated by the people of this company.

They towed my car from my parking space, because I accidentally dropped my parking permit under the seats. When I called them, the people who answered the phone had a really bad attitude, they didnt care about it at all, they only wanted money! So I went to their parking lot, and I asked to check my car. Then the person behind the counter just turned away, didnt want talk to me. I have no choice, so I walked in when they opened the gate to let their car get in. I found my parking permit under my seat and it was very conspicuous! When I show them my parking permit, they say what is that, either pay the fees or get F out here! Due to their attitude and dirty means, I refused their payment request and was ready to leave, but they blocked my car and threatened me that they were going to call the cops. I said please call the police. They had no choice but to report to the police. When the police came, they said that they received a call from the owner of my building to tow away my car. It was obvious that they were lying. I lived in my current building for more than 4 years. They all know me and my car. so I called the property management and they told me that they did not call them. Then a lady with the red hair came, they said she is the manager, who appeared very rude and asked me to take out my credit card to pay the money or shell ask the police to take me out of her property. First off do not park your car in a parking lot than leave it to go to another place, even if it is just for a sandwich! these people have to be paid for moving your car it cost them time and gas too, you know. also it is their job to drive around to all the parking lots and check them. so when you take the chance and park in a spot your not supposed to, look at the sign and read how much you have to pay if you get caught!

Went to pick up my vehicle at about 11pm, last Friday lady at the window was very disrespectful. Gave her all my information. She took a call and seemed like it was a family matter (was using a cellphone She was talking about a kid). I stood outside the buildings window for about 5min until I told her “hey can you help me.” Note she already had all my information, driverslience and credit card. She had told me the total which was 218.50. After my comment she got more mad and told me she needed a plate number. After she had told me the total and was ready to swipe my card to pay. I knew it was for me telling her about the phone. I even had my keys so I sounded the alarm. I told her my car was right behind the building if she would let me I could get her the plate number. She laughed and said no. She said she didn’t need to hear stories. When I was walking away. She said don’t forget tomorrow it’s going to be 260 and laughed. When I went in the morning again, staff was completely the opposite. Very helpful and turns out I don’t need a plate number. If your picking up your car. Do yourself a favor and do it in the morning. I’m the one with the blue camaro.

Liars and Scam Artists. They towed my car while I was legally parked in a Walgreens parking lot for no more than 3 minutes. I was told by a Walgreens worker that Lincoln Towing does this on Fridays because its payday, so people have money to pay to get their car back. I filed a complaint with the Chicago Police Department and nothing came from it. Recently, I read a news article that said Lincoln Towing is being sued. That made me very happy because what Lincoln Towing does is straight up robbery.

Parked our car where there was no sign, called the shop about 3 times before I Able to know if our car was there or not.Then when we got there I had already thought ahead to get cash out of the atm, but when I got there & gave them my money they had no change for the money I had given them to get my car out. They then made me walk a half mile to the back of the lot to find my car, telling me Its somewhere back there & then closed the gate behind me & I was unable to get out of the lot. It was scary & really horrible. I hope your car never gets towed by this place! Do not go to either location ALONE!

Between Lincoln Towing and Walgreens (Clark & Ontario) I think they target tourists cars. I was shopping at Walgreens, and just ran to get a take out sandwich, and within 5 minutes the car was gone!My car had Minnesota plates, but I live here and will fight them to get my towing, cab and aggravation repaid!Sleeze for sure!Shame on you Walgreens! and on Good Friday too!
