We were recently married at Ravenswood Event Center and couldnt be happier with how the entire process went. The planning process was thorough and comprehensive. We always felt well taken care of. A huge selling point for us was that REC does the catering, tables, chairs, linens, etc all in house which was a huge load off.The food was delicious and there was more than enough to go around. Service on the day of was attentive and generous.All of our guests were impressed by the design and beauty of the venue. The natural light in the atrium is unbeatable, and the indoor/outdoor access was great for some of our guests to be able to escape the dance floor.Cant recommend REC and their services enough!

I give the Ravenswood Event Center five stars. We were there for a wedding on a Friday night in early January, and the event venue was very hip and interesting. As a converted factory they did a great job Remodeling and adapting their banquet facilities which allows for quality catered events to be held there. We had dinner on one level and then we went to the second upper level for dancing and dessert. What an awesome 40 foot ceiling and 40 foot window-scape! Parking was very easy, and it was very easy to navigate in and out of this part of Chicago.

Ravenswood Event Center is one of the coolest venues Ive ever seen. Its got a unique flair, and it can accommodate lots of people.We were here as a vendor of Indie Wed - a bridal expo... And we were impressed by the vibe of this venue

I went here for Open House Chicago and fell in love with this space. There are three distinct areas to hold a special event and the cars can either be on display or they can be covered up. On the top level there is a massive open area where they used to paint billboard signs that we were told most people have their wedding ceremony. The middle are we were told is used for a cocktail area before heading downstairs for dinner. We did not use them for our wedding as they were a little difficult to work with on scheduling but I have been to events here since.

Cool venue!!

Not native to Ravenswood Event Center but it seems like a nice area. Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Room is decorated nicely. Wall color is a nice sage green. Furniture is a dark wood. The location is just down the street from the Blue Dome district. The Blue Dime district has a good selection of bars/ pubs and restaurants. There is even a bowling lounge. These are all within walking distance and it seems like a safe part of town.

Great space for event, especially for wedding

I had my ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception at Ravenswood and could not be happier with the venue, staff, and overall service provided. Jen H. was our coordinator and I don’t know how we would have done it without her. She was on top of every detail, communicating with me for months before and vendors for the weeks leading up and day of. I could go on and on about all the details of the service she provided. Not only was was their service 5 stars, but guests were coming up to us about how cool the actual space was. Our photographer loved taking pictures in the space as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This venue is BEAUTIFUL! I am a big believer in preserving the past and the renovators of this facility really did preserve its honor. 3 floors of event space. Gorgeous floor to ceiling windows on the 3rd floor, nostalgic signs - I am guessing ones produced there back in the day, and sweet antique sports cars. I attended an event there with the company and I really loved it. As a caterer, I will definitely promote it to my clients.

This place was high class and the collection of cars there and neon lights were awesome. The building was restored to a high level of class. Spoke to the owner and he was down to earth and very kind. This place had 3 levels and can be rented out for special events, weddings, parties with a twist of class.

My husband and I had our wedding at Ravenswood Event Center on 6/22/19 and we could not have been more happy with the experience. The team is wonderful to work with. In all our meetings Aly was really prepared and also offered great suggestions on vendors and how to make our day run smoothly. All this planning really showed during our wedding! We received so many compliments on the space and we did not need much decor to make it interesting and unique which was important. The food was great and being able to choose and bring in our own alcohol was a game changer. Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to have their wedding in Chicago!! Thank you to Aly and the team for an amazing day we will never forget!

I was here the other weekend for a wedding and this facility was the perfect venue. Everything was well done and the staff couldnt have been friendlier. The view from the top of the building is lovely and the light coming into through the windows is excellent. The atmosphere of the facility is relaxed and professional. Great food and service overall.

Hard to find. Elevator was out, my elderly, mobility-challenged mother had to climb four flights of stairs to get to the wedding ceremony. Ceremony room was hot, as the a/c was not working. It was a unique wedding venue however.

Beautiful space on three distinct levels. The top floor is stunning, with high ceilings and large windows. The middle floor is a great reception space, with lots of windows on two sides of the main room. The first floor is has great skylights and vintage neon signs on the walls.

Beautiful event center. Its the most unique place Ive been to. The vehicle display and neon lights were by favorite part. It was a really fun wedding venue.

I visited the Ravenswood Event Center this past weekend of the Show of Hands art/craft show. It was the perfect space for the event. It was very chilly and never too crowded. I would love to see what other events are hosted in this space.

Was here for Taste of Ravenswood. Place is wonderful. This is a yearly event. Different events are held here like weddings and such.

Ravenswood Event Center provided us the wedding of our dreams. We had 150 people in the Industrial Ballroom and every time my Wife and I met with either Andy, Aly or Jen, they each made us feel like we were their most important client and would drop everything to fulfill any of our requests. The Ravenswood staff was impeccable and were incredibly attentive to not only us, but our guests, as well. The kitchen was superb and made sure our dinner was not just another wedding dinner. Oscar put together several food stations so people could get up and mingle and eat as they pleased...also the late night snack was homemade pizza cakes (my absolute favorite!). If you are planning to have your wedding in Chicago and having a hard time figuring out where to hold your ceremony and reception, do yourself a favor and choose REC. From your first walk through to the last dance, REC provides a celebration that is guaranteed to be an unbelievable and unforgettable experience.

We are so happy that we chose to celebrate our wedding at Ravenswood Event Center (REC) which is so much more than just a wedding venue!! First of all, the space itself was beautiful and was one of the first things that sold us (we had cocktail hour on the 3rd floor/Atrium, dinner on the 2nd floor/Loft, then went back to the 3rd floor/Atrium for dancing!) The massive windows, natural light/view of the sunset, and magical twinkling café lights created the coolest vibe that our guests loved as well. Second, Aly is the best coordinator ever! From the very beginning, she was super on top of every detail and helped us to create the day that we’d dreamed of. Not every wedding venue has a built-in coordinator, and it was so comforting knowing that Aly was there to help everything run smoothly, and she was awesome to work with as well. Third, THE FOOD. Ask anyone who’s ever attended a wedding here, it was amazing. We opted for family style which our guests loved, and we still have people telling us how great the food was. I don’t think you can beat the value REC provides compared to other wedding venues in Chicago (a reasonable price for a beautiful, unique space, an extremely attentive coordinator, the BEST food, and a full staff… amazing!) Thank you so much to the REC staff!

Decent venue. Went up there for the voyager party for New years. Not sure what happened but they decided to cancel the after party last minute.

I went there for the Chicago Pizza Party. It was my first time visiting there. It was actually pretty cool.

Went here for a wedding. Absolutely beautiful space! Lots of exposed brick, beautiful floors and gorgeous space!

Plenty of free parking, you might have to use stairs so be warned there is only one elevator. Beautiful venue though!
