Nice jewelry store, one of the better Jared locations in the area. Only complaint is how long they take to enter your information when you go in for a cleaning or a repair, it really should not take close to an hour to drop off jewelry!

Unethical con artists. Ive never had a worse experience buying jewelry in my life. Purchased some custom earrings for my wife for our anniversary to match a ring and necklace I had bought for a previous anniversary from Jared years ago. I went back to Jared with photos of her ring so they could match it. They did a terrible job -- earrings look nothing like her ring and necklace -- but despite this, they wouldnt return them since they were customized. I tried to work with the original salesperson to find a solution to the problem but now hes dodging me and wont return my calls. Im shocked that a major retail chain would operate like this. Ill never shop at Jared again.

She was definitely patient with us (mainly me) throughout my first official engagement ring buying experience. The waiting was ridiculous. We had an appointment. Therefore, we shouldnt have had to wait a half hour. I understand with covid and all but that was too long of a wait for having an appointment. They were very apologetic though.

I know we are in different times. But if you ask for ppl to call to schedule appointments then you need to answer your phone. Also being booked out for 2-3 months is ridiculous for your returning customers. Definitely disappointing for returning loyal customers. Plus I feel like the service and acknowledgement of entering into store before covid was never the best.

The one in Chesterfield is horrible. I was passing through and my hibby wanted to buy me my birthday present while getting my rings cleaned/inspected. I called the other day and the lady was not very helpful. I was told it wasnt really neccessary to set up an appointment but they were short staffed and they may not be able to help me. I got there and all the signage said that they were not cleaning/inspecting jewelry. I was not told that or I wouldnt have bothered coming this way. I was going to try to wait to get in, but they were rude to another customer and there was another couple waiting in front of me. I will be glad to take my business somewhere else.

To get your rings inspected you have to make an appointment. Theyre scheduling a month out..When I got there the first set of doors were open & the inside doors were locked. I had to sign in and then wait outside for them to come get me. They didnt come out until 15 minutes after my appt (not complaining-just letting others know make sure you have time to wait around).The lady made me feel like I was in the wrong place because they booked the appt under my husbands name & not mine (I was the one who called & made the appt). She didnt connect the [same] last names.Weird experience.

I had such an amazing experience at this store. My husband and I had been to at least 8 other jewelry stores today and decided to go to Jared. The saleswoman offered us water as soon as we walked in and was so patient, kind and helpful! Not pushy at all and really knowledgeable. Every ring she handed me she told me the specs and pricing immediately. We finally found a ring that I loved and purchased it with a care plan. She told me I could get it sized on site at the location down the road the next day and I couldn’t believe it! On top of that my ring rang up an extra $300 off the price she had quoted us! We were originally told we would have to wait for our information to download overnight to get the rings sized but we decided to stop in and just ask if they could go ahead and do it the same day and they did. I am a Jared customer for life now because of this stellar customer service! Thank you so much!

Worst experience ever!! Now i realize why there werent any customers. Took them a few minutes to decide who was going to help me. I told them i needed my ring inspected and warranty updated and that i was interested in buying two rings for either side of my engagement ring. The guy acted as if i was crazy for even asking for that. Kept trying to get someone else to clean my ring, the guy finally said fine, Ill do it. Kept asking me if i realy wanted a ring on either side of my engagement ring to the point i just said to inspect and clean mine and Ill leave. He said he inspected it and updated the system and i should have an email copy. Guess what??? NO EMAIL!!! shocker!! Went to St Louis outlet and had an amazing experience.

My fiancé and I have been going to this Jared since 2014. My fiancé bought me a necklace and he used Courtney for the sales rep. She has been the only person we use when we go into Jared. We have bought my engagement ring here (which my fiancé and her spent a good 2-3 patiently finding the perfect ring for me), a pretty everyday ring for me, a necklace for him and a watch for him. She has never pushed a sale on us and is so welcoming. She connects with each customer she works with and creates a bond with them. We have had excellent service here and we are happy each time.

My wife and I both purchased our rings here and have had nothing but great experiences every time we come in. There were a couple of issues with my ring that were beyond the stores control but Courtney was on top of it each and every time taking ownership of it and ensuring it was resolved to our satisfaction. Purchased a ring at Jerads several years ago. The biggest perk in buying a ring at Jerads is that you can trade the diamond back in for an upgrade. We chose Jerads because of this feature. We have been diligent in keeping up with service and checking, because we were told that is what we had to do for any upgrade. But, we were not told that in order to upgrade the new diamond has to be twice the purchase price! Say we purchased a $14,000 ring. The new one would have to be $28,000! This policy is ridiculous and I am sure that very, very few people are ever able to take advantage of it. In hindsight, I am sure this is the reasoning for it. Will not do any further business with Jerad.

When looking for an engagement ring for my girlfriend I first visited Helzburg Jewelers and Rogers & Hollands in St. Peters, MO. At both places I disliked the way I was treated, the quality of the items they were trying to sell me, the affordability of the warranty, and the uncomfortable feeling I got whole I was there. I then went to Jareds in Chesterfield, MO. There I met Courtney Haefner. She was so pleasant to work with, listening to each of the qualities I was looking for in an engagement ring, allowing me to search through the list of diamonds, and be picky and choose each piece for the ring. Rather then trying to sell me a ring, she felt more like a friend, getting just as excited over the ring as I. She even gave me great ideas for date nights as I had just moved to the area. The service was prompt, getting to take the custom ring home after just 4 days, even calling me in between to check in on the process. I am satisfied with the quality, price, and customer service I got I will definitely be going back to work with Courtney when locking out our wedding rings.

They had great customer svcs really had a good time buying a wedding set was surprise they sized the ring so fast the only negative was when we went back to pick up ring my girl was so excited the clerk met us at the door basically gave her the ring said thats it no box no bag nothing no congratulations or any thing luckily the manager seen us talked to us gave us a box and explained everything congratulated us made it better they need realize that one person can make or break the hole experience . It is late at night and Im still kind of bothered by it especially for my girl!!!!

The sales rep was very sweet. I wanted to resize my ring for my right finger. She took my measurements for both my left & right & said my left finger would be cheaper. I was worried about it being the ring finger & Im single! She said since its my birthstone & not a diamond that its acceptable! She even complimented my ring even though it came from another jewelry store! She made me feel really confortable & not obligated to buy anything! She stated if im ever interested that they had a necklace & earrings that would match if i wanted to safe up & treat myself! If I ever want to..then I know where to look first!

My fiancé and I have both love Jared!! We spent three hours looking for my engagement ring with Kennedi and she showed us just about every cut and setting available. She was so patient and did such a good job staying in our price range and design preferences. After the ring was purchased, we went back for my fiancé’s ring and then had to go back because it wasn’t the size he needed. They have made this whole process so much easier and we are both so excited to wear our rings after our wedding. I also love that they have cleaned my ring every time that I go into the store and everyone is so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!!

I went to Jared to have a custom wedding band made to fit my engagement ring. I was told this process would take 6-8 weeks from start to finish, much to my disappointment the process took nearly 6 months! I started the custom design mid-August 2015 and finally picked up my finished product on February 15, 2016! During these six months, I received some of the most awful customer service I could ever imagine. The design process was horrible, there was a lot of back and forth and the employee helping me did not seem to listen to my ideas then threatened to charge me more money because I requested too many revisions! I was appalled and wanted to demand my money back and leave but we were so far into this process that I thought I should stick with it. After she parted ways with Jared half way through this process, I was passed along to another employee who seemed to understand what I wanted, I thought we were on the right track. This new employee went forward with creating a wax mold of my ring without my approval! The creation of this mold wasted another 3 weeks in this ongoing, dreadful process. I FINALLY got the manager involved and we got the ring completed. They soldered it together off center and because I am just over the entire process, I did not complain. Maybe I can have it fixed someday at a real jeweler who knows what theyre doing and understands the value of customer service. During all of my months working with Jared, I made at least 3 phone calls to the store and was told they were too busy to help me and they would return my call. They never returned my calls. The entire process left a sour taste in my mouth and I will never purchase another product from this company. It seems that the sales reps think good customer service is offering you several bottles of water and hot chocolate every time youre in the store when, in fact, people just want you to return their phone calls and stick to the agreed upon schedule. Overall experience was AWFUL. Lost customer for life.

I went in to get my wedding bands made into a wrap on a Sunday, the lady that day was very pleasant and ensured me that it would be done on Monday and shipped to my local store overnight so I would have my rings by Tuesday. It’s wednesday and I haven’t heard from my local store, so I called this location to see what was going on with my rings- the girl I talked to today said they just shipped them out today so they would be at my local store in about four days.. very upset that my fiancé and I were told it would be done and in by Tuesday and now I won’t get them back until the 15th or later. My wedding is the next weekend, so I hope they’re in on time. I will not be using this Jared again or recommending them to anyone.

We went in for the first time looking at engagement rings and had to sit through a little presentation on why Jared is the best. The sales lady Jules was horrible! I was very excited to be looking at rings with my fiancé and during the presentation looked at him thinking about how amazing he is and how exciting this process was. Jules said am I boring you already? very rudely. When we began to look at rings the one I liked online was not in the store and Jules didnt seem to know whether it was being discontinued or new... I like delicate rings and stated it multiple times and she kept pushing larger gaudy rings. She treated my fiancé like a wallet and kept pushing the financing on him multiple times. She forgot my name and seemed to only cater to him. Because of her we will not be buying from Jared, Ever. That was a horrible experience!

I will never do business with this store again, and I suggest you look elsewhere as well. I bought my wifes wedding ring from the Jared store in Hazelwood in September of 2007. When I bought the ring, I made sure it was fully covered on the insurance plan, and have never allowed a 6 month inspection to lapse. In addition, I have bought several pieces of jewelry for my wife and other family members at Jared, since 2007. In December of 2015, about a week before Christmas, I took my wifes ring in to be cleaned for the holidays. I also inquired with an associate about adding another band to the ring for the holiday, and thankfully did not do so. The associate was rude and completely condescending, but thankfully saved me additional headaches in the future of dealing with this staff. During the same time frame, the assistant store manager, Chris, said he found a chip in the center stone. The ring was shown to the in-house jeweler, who said she disagreed, and the ring was not damaged. After several conversations leading me to observe the incompetence of everyone in this store, it was determined the ring was in fact damaged. Once that was established, the store questioned the ring having the last inspection, thus nullifying the coverage. I was advised it was not listed in their system. I physically brought the paperwork showing the records to the store, which was of course studied intently to make sure they were responsible for the repair. Once that hurdle was surpassed, my wife was told it would take 5-7 days for repair, leaving her without her ring for the holidays. We agreed, and gave them the ring. Approximately 2 weeks later, my wife called and asked about her ring. She was told it would be 4-6 weeks, by the same manager (Chris) that told her 5-7 days. After 4 weeks, my wife called again to check the status of the ring. This time she spoke to an associate, who passed the buck to the store manager, Cindy, who advised it would be 10-12 weeks before we got the ring back. In addition, Cindy told my wife she was not sure where the ring was located, nor did she have a way to track that. If I buy a $5 coffee mug from Amazon, I can track every movement until delivery. You have a customers wedding set, and you dont know where it is? I again spoke to Chris, who said he would check on it, but left me a message advising he couldnt give me a complete answer. Chris said the ring MAY be at the lab awaiting a new diamond, which he said MAY have to come from the mine. The delay, of course, would be cleaning the diamond up and getting it certified to the same specifications as my wifes. So, Leonardo DeCaprio is heading to Sierra Leone to find the blood diamond. I called the store back after I got this message and got a new person that identified themselves as a manager, Mary. I told Mary I wanted to speak to Chris, who I was told was off for a few days. I again explained the extreme incompetence for the entire staff, and told Mary I wanted to speak to the store manager on the same date. I told Mary I wanted to know where my wifes ring was, and when it would be returned. It has been over 48 hours since that conversation, and I have still not heard from anyone. This is the worst staff I have ever dealt with, and as soon as my wifes ring is located and returned, I will never step foot in this store again.

We went into Jarods because we were sick of the way the other jewelry stores treated us. I was met by Katie! She treated us like royalty! She had great costumer service and knowledge in the products! We went in looking for a wedding band for my fiance and we found one! I also chose a Movado watch! Katie had picked up on my personality very quickly. I wouldnt say I am a bridezilla but I was very concerned about getting my ring on time considering our wedding was right around the corner. She was sure to calm me down and reassure me it will be in on time. She even went above and beyond and called the company to check were it was so I could not have anything to worry about. I will come back just to visit Katie and buy some Pandora charms! When it came to management I was impressed as well. I met Chris while I was shopping. He chimed in and talked about his thoughts considering he is a guy and while I know what my fiance likes Im not up to date on what is in. He was personable, not pushing towards making a sale, he supported his staff and was very sweet to my daughter. I will be back! THANKS JARODS!

I have never had worse service! I was at this location for over 30 mins before anyone said hi. Many employees were not busy. Also many employees didnt do their job well. I came in to get my earrings cleaned, wedding ring cleaned and my right hand ring repaired. Nothing was clean after 2 cleanings. I have to come back tomorrow. I had my 2 children and my husband with me. I was at the store for over an hour and a half. My husband and I will not be reccommending this store in the future. I will update my post tomorrow hopefully the customer service is better.
