We purchased Vivints home security system a few years ago. It worked well at first; however, it has not been operational for over six months. Weve called Customer Support for assistance and they say its fixed but it only functions properly for a day at most. Calling back to Customer Support results in the same process loop all over again (as long as you arent accidentally disconnected). They read from a script and dont listen to your replies. It takes at least an hour to go through their script and they are clearly just reading from a screen. I can understand this approach as a starting point but when it cant be fixed on multiple telephone calls, an in-home tech appointment should be scheduled. Good luck with that! its impossible to get a tech to come out. System still broken and no tech appointment in sight. BUYERS BEWARE!!!

Was super excited to get a new security system. Cost was not exactly cheap but I believe for any quality system you will pay a good amount of money. Unfortunately after having this system for more than six months I can say with confidence the hardware, software and customer service fall well short of what I would expect from and sort of security system. We have constant hardware issues with cameras freezing, night vision not working or cameras not being online all together, my wife cant even log in and tech support is unable to help figure it out. I would not buy again I would not recommend to a friend and I do not feel my home is any more secure than if I had purchased the cheaper more reliable Wyze cameras.
