I recently applied with Aurora and during the application process she communicated well and was able to find an apartment with all my demands.. the process took about 48 hours and I was provided with updates every step of the way… Thanks for all your hard work!
Office staff is friendly, knowledgeable about property and genuinely cares about you as a resident. Nice apartments on the inside. Great location and quick access to I-95 and I-288.
Moved in about 3 months ago... The neighborhood is quiet, the apartments are cozy and my work orders get done most of the time by the next day. I’ve especially appreciated the food trucks we get weekly and how the rental office is quick with responses. I prefer text to communicate and they always message back! Thanks Aurora for all your help! Even tho the stay is short I appreciate everyone here!
I am writing this review as a potential resident, not a current resident. I recently visited Ashton Creek Apartments during my apartment hunt. We met with an office staff member who explained the layout of the apartment in which we were interested in and the price for a 12 month lease term. Once all of the formalities were out of the way she hands us a key to let us know that it would be a self guided tour. I thought that was strange as Ive been apartment hunting for a few months now and this was my 1st self guided tour. My husband, my two little girls (ages 3 & 4), and I head out to find this apartment. Upon entering the apartment there was a stronger odor and it was dark. We proceed up the stairs (apartment was on the 2nd floor) that had just been carpeted. The carpet had not been tightened properly. There was dust all over the floors, the counter tops and appliances. As if they were still in the process of flipping the apartment for the next tenant. But it was not clean and definitely not show worthy. The only bedroom in the apartment had the carpet half completed and pulled back exposing the floor underneath. This was not a safe environment for two young children. We were not warned that the apartment that we were viewing would be under construction. It seemed as if they didnt want us to become new tenants by sending us to that apartment. I will take my business to another apartment complex that has better customer service and cares about selling their apartments to potential tenants.
Great customer service and questions answered.Very professional and polite to our understanding for leasing information.
Housing is nice with great staff, neighbors are very welcoming and friendly. not the best place I have ever lived but certainly not the worst. if they would fix some minor nuances about the grounds maintenance I would give them a 4 star.
I have lived in Ashton Creek since 2017. Overall, I am pleased with the time Ive lived here. The maintenance staff is attentive and efficient. The property is generally well-kept. Theyve invested in the upkeep, paving the parking lot and upgrading the exterior lighting on each of the entryways. My apartment looks out over Ashton Creek, which gives me a significant amount of privacy. Ive lived in places that are far worse. If I could make improvements, Id like to see upgraded appliances, as my stove, refrigerator and dishwasher are basic and functional, but not state-of-the-art as advertised. I think the apartments would also benefit from having Nest thermostats and upgraded outlets as well.
We recently moved in and have had a great experience living here! It is a quiet, secluded community but close to a lot of stores, restaurants and the interstate. They were also very understanding with our unique move in situation.
Bugs, bugs, and more bugs! I lived with roaches for almost 2 years. I have heart disease and asthma so it really took a toll on my health. It took me reporting Ashton Creak to the BBB for them to take action and bug bomb my apartment. The only good thing about this place is their maintenance guy Chris. He makes sure everything is taken care of and has helped me with trying to get rid of these bugs. Thankfully, I was approved for a mortgage so I am moving as soon next month.
Professional, responds quickly.
So I am a current resident and parking is a joke I left my apartment a little after 10pm and when I had to turn around because I forgot something... THERE WAS NO PARKING SPOT IN MY AREA including all of the visitor spots were occupied. I am sorry I am a single mom who pays my monthly rent to live there so there should be no reason for me to not be able to find a parking space.
Love it here . The staff is great too.
This is the best place Ive every lived! all the staff whether office or maintenance are the kindest, most professional, and understanding people Ive ever had the pleasure of meeting. Apartments are quiet, clean, and modern. All my neighbors are the best, being retired, military, and law enforcement. This is the sort of place I feel safe and comfortable leaving my door unlocked! Definitely a great place if you are planning a move.
Friendly staff Maintenance are always on top of my issues!
If you want your things stolen move her if not look else where. I do not even live her full time due to work but when I come and accidentally forget to lock my door know all my valuable were gone. My beats, first now my AirPods and ray bands sunglass have suddenly disappeared. Reporting will do nothing there is no security on the property. I’m believing the culprit lives on the property at this point. Very annoying, I understand I should lock my door but, I’m not the only person to report. They need to beef up on security the theft knows this is an area they can steal continuously and not get caught. How do I know someone was in my Vehicle ? They left there mask in my car and my gym back open and thrown across my back seat.
I Love our community so much!! I feel safe here and I love how close we are to every thing in Chester! I definitely recommend coming to live here, I even moved from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom apartment after a year at the first apartment. The maintenance team works hard to fill your requests and will respond quickly. The office staff is super nice and helpful and will work with you should personal issues arise.
Love the neighborhood and everyone in the office is so friendly!
Ashton Creek is a wonderful property with spacious and clean apartments. They have an adorable area for dogs to play near the office, a huge plus! Everyone on the property has been nice and welcoming.I had two great tours with Shauna, she is the best!! I highly recommend meeting with her to view the property. She’s very professional and knowledgeable.
We lived here a year and recently moved only because we were blessed to become new home owners! We had a very positive experience at Ashton Creek. Ms. Gaines and the whole staff were always professional and friendly. Maintenance requests were responded in satisfactory time and maintenance crew conducted work as professionals. Landscaping was well kept too. The current staff here is A+. Definitely would recommend living at Ashton Creek!
I love love love this apartment complex!! Such a cute and friendly place! I went into the office to get some information and the staff was outstanding! They had a very clean office space. Such a welcoming feeling as soon as I stepped into the office!!
Awesome community awesome staff! Ill be moving in this summer and Im so excited. Valet trash sounds AMAZING and is part of what sold me about this place. The assistant manager Shauna gave me one of the most entertaining tours of my life. 10/10 would recommend!
People in the office always are around and helpfull on any problem I have with rental money and problems in the apartment quickly
I’ve been living here for a year and a half in a two bedroom apartment. The apartments themselves are very well finished. I have no issues with management, they even know me on first name basis, not from complaints or anything they are just generally nice people. Patricia always asks me how things are and makes sure all is well. I will most likely stay here for awhile.
The maintenance there is great 💪
I am a current resident. I have a wife and two kids and we are all happy here. There’s a playground and pool for entertainment. The office staff is amazing, Patricia always has a smile on her face and always has the answers I’m looking for. We will most definitely be renewing our lease this fall.
Worst place to live. I’ve been here for a while and they treated me as animal. Poor management and staff. Buildings are outdated and you will face lot of unexpected issues due to poor cleaning service. They only think about money plz don’t ever think to live here
I recently came to look at the apartments since one of my friends lives here. Theyre so cute and unique looking. The ladies in the office were all extremely friendly and although it was out of my budget, I would definitely recommend it!
I have lived here for the last 2 years and i must say it is not worth it to live here. I did a walk through before moving out with a manager and her name was Shauna and she told me everything was fine and i would get my deposit back. I called and and was told i owed them money. Management has changed several times. Their lack of professionalism is the worst. Trust me when i say, they are nice at first. But after that, you’re living in a place from hell. They are full of excuses there. They are now doing renovations and i guess them not giving security deposits back is what is paying for the not so great renovations. I lived in a renovated apartment where the bathroom handles constantly fell off as well as the kitchen drawers would randomly fall out on the floor. There was mold in my kitchen under the sink and they painted over it instead of fixing it. If this was the last place on earth to live, i would sleep in my car.
Wonderful staff and nice property. We were toured through by Shauna who was extremely helpful and super nice! The units were spacious and nice. We loved that there was a lot of parking.
This is one worst place you would rent from this apartment. We ask to lease exactly 3 months, then we move to another state. When I come pay for last month lease payment, the rep in office said that we didnt give them 60 days notice of leaving which they didnt tell us when we signed the lease. So we have to pay 1 more month of lease that we didnt sign for. They sure tricked us to pay extra 1 more month. What a poor agent i ever seen. If you ever want to lease this place, better go somewhere else. Besides we have insurance from our company with three time amount of cover they ask. They still reject it, so they can sell their own products. This place suck.
The front office team and maintenance staff are awesome. Thank you, for the prompt and excellent service.
This place is not worth the hassle. Keep shopping around.
Great property. Lady’s in the office are nice. It’s clean and I like the hills, it’s lik some buildings are at the top of a hill.
Love it at the CREEK....
Outdated appliances. walls are painted over 1000 times, clearly. Trashy old broken wooden fence perimeter to block off the ghetto sister property. Dumpster stays over filled with several piles of trash bags on the surrounding ground. I cannot believe it
I have been a long time resident here at Ashton creek. There’s nothing better than having a beautiful community to call home and they ALSO have exceptional staff. The maintenance team is always on their A game and happy to assist any way they can. I never have to worry if something is broke because I know that Chris will have it fixed in no time. The ladies in the office are always willing to listen and quick to assist. The new leasing agent Patricia always has a smile on her face, great energy and very positive. I would recommend Ashton creek to anyone looking for a place to call home.
The clean & empty pool is my fav! Clubhouse is gorgeous. Parking good. I have never felt unsafe here. The management office is so friendly along with the maintenance staff. They take your concerns seriously and do what they can to help. Of course, there is room for improvement with bad lighting, broken stair rails and an unsightly dumpster. I am confident they will improve them in time.
I visited some family in Ashton Creek and the apartments are very nice. The new renovations are sleek and modern. If you are looking for something that is modern and well priced then Ashton Creek is the place.
Look somewhere else before moving here. There are much better places that will be worth your money. Try White Oak Apartment homes. Very close and much nicer apartments.
I lived there not to long ago . Had a few problems in my apartment, that I couldnt figure out . The maintenance guy Chris fixed everything and explained to me what it was . I have never had someone explain things to me and in a way I understand. I want to thank him to the fullest . The property is looking so much better now than before . Keep it up .!! Thank you. 12/27/19 Just wanted to add again, excellent maintenance service from Chris Pearcy his knowledge of being able to explain what was wrong and what had to be done to fix repairs. Always speeding response on repairing as well. All grounds are always clean of trash as well in the parking lot and dog park. My light was out by my door and I just ask him and put in another light that day by Chris as well.
Wonderful living spaces, extensive amenity offerings, and convenient location! Maintenance and leasing office staff are always friendly and helpful, especially the assistant manager Shauna who gave my initial tour and is always willing to go the extra mile to accommodate the needs of the residents.
My husband and I love living here. The staff is so friendly and accomadting. The maintence crew. Is always on top of things. I love the managing staff, Patricia and Shauna are amazing, very helpful. We plan on staying here a long, long time
I lived at Ashton Creek on a six month short term lease and was very pleased with the experience here. The new staff is dedicated and efficient. They were responsive any times I had questions or concerns. Their mail package system at the front office is great! Additionally in the new year they set up a trash system that picks up trash at your door which is a great service! Highly recommend!
My wife and I are so happy to be back at Ashton Creek. We lived here for a year and decided to give another community a try. The community we tried was a little bit cheaper so we figured it would be a smart idea but it turned out to be the worst mistake of our life! We moved back here a month ago and weve experienced nothing but happiness. There was a new leasing agent, i believe her name was Patricia, she was very nice and super helpful in our move back here. The grounds are kept clean and they are pet friendly. So give Ashton Creek a try. I doubt that youll be disappointed!!!
Great place to live . i will give it to the new supervisor chris . he has turned this place around . The office staff is is great.
If I could tell you one thing is DONT DO IT!!! The management will lie till they can no longer lie anymore....The positive thing that comes from this situation is you can break your lease as long as you pay one month ahead which is a great thing seeing that I am currently working on moving out now....Oh yea by the way I have only lived at the complex going on two months now an I am already looking to move out ASAP.... Update: Please Please Please Dont Do it. Although they have new owners an management you will have the same result. You will still wait for major maintenance request to be fulfilled if you are even contacted by them. The water from the gutter floods my closet an destroys my items. Yet no one has came an repaired closet. Also they still have a huge turnover rate for the maintenance crew. Currently we are down to just one person trying to repair every apartment in the complex. Also 9 out 10times your apartment will have mold, in which they will tell you its mildew. If I can save anyone the time an headache please do not an I mean DO NOT move here. They have a long way to go before they will be worth their rent. Also do not fall for the minor cosmetic changes they have made to the apartments. You will be paying for it in the long run believe you an me.
The new management is responsive, kind and definitely moving the business in the right direction! Impressed to see the positive growth and all the upgrades over the last 4 years.
Hi,Would I recommend these apartments to any one- NO-. I have been a resident for two years now and I can happily say that I am moving out. Thank God for small miracles. Maintenance is horrible, messages left go unanswered and they do not fix problems in a timely matter. When I first moved in it wasnt that bad but after the first year I began to see the dysfunctions and various problems. The code to the gym is so complex that I gave up on even trying to use it. You need to have at least 6 fingers when trying to enter the code. Then the gym is completely empty. All weights have been stole the tread mill works on a good day and there are various large dogs that the restriction code prohibits from being out here but every time I blink I see a rock wilder or a pit bull. Please take this comment to heart do not waste time or money out here. And the worst is a lot of the neighbors and their kids. No control at all. The 60 day notice is unreal- Thats too long of a given notice for any apartment. You will have to pay double rent here and at your new place or move out and stay with friends.I dont know of any apartments that will hold another apt for 2 months. But Im moving out------(SMILES)--------------
Im so glad I dodged a bullet on this place. When I went in to check out the place I walked into a pretty clubhouse. The person I talked to told me the rent and added fees. After that I told her I couldnt live here cause of all the added fees. Never did see an apartment.
Horrible: the place, the walls, the parking lot, and the old and new management. The only good thing was the maintenance workers, professional and respectful. Beware of when you leave, make sure you change the carpet yourself, and clean everything with acid because if not theyll make you pay for normal wear, when anyway theyll change everything for the next resident. We saw it for two years, and now they did it to me. Do yourself a favor, spend more in rent and go somewhere else. Believe me!
Such a beautiful property and wonderful staff! The upgrades on the apartments are great and highly recommend Ashton Creek if you are looking to rent in the Chester area!
Weve lived in the apartments for a little over 3 years now. Since we moved in there has been drastic improvements and upgrades to the facility, staff and apartments themselves. All our babies came home from the hospital here, took their first steps, words and first swim in the beautiful pool here, our sweet dog (rest her soul) LOVED the new dog park. An incredible addition for pet lovers so your fur babies can get the exercise they need despite apartment living. The layouts are spacious and very open so its great to be able to cook and do dishes and still keep an eye on my kiddos playing and eating from the kitchen. Also, they are perfect for roommate rentals as each bedroom gets their own bathroom and spacious closet. Two employees specifically have made an great impact on us during our stay:The marketing representative, Patricia, is always so incredibly kind, patient and always greets you with a smile. She goes above and beyond to make sure our needs and requests have been met in a timely matter. She maintains an incredible level of professionalism, but is also treats you as more than just a customer, she makes you feel like a friend and at home. You can tell she has a lot of beauty in her heart.Id also like to call out the lead maintenance man Chris. Hes very professional, courteous and a man of his word. Theres literally nothing he cant fix! Hes been here since we moved in and been a true blessing. He even steps outside his role to help residents in need out of the kindness of his own heart (its far from easy pushing a double stroller of one year old twins up and around stairs with a 2 year old by your side). Hes kindly helped me on more than one occasion. Acts of kindness amongst these two have made a considerable impact on me and Im forever grateful!I will truly miss our families first home! 💕💕💕
I’ve lived here for the past 6 months and I’m so glad I chose to rent with PRG. The girls in the leasing office are always so nice when I come to pay my rent, the maintenance team is quick to respond to issues that I’ve had, and the quality overall has been wonderful.
Two words: VALET TRASH. LOVE living here. foreal
I am leaving due to an event on memorial day 5/27/19 at around 4pm that took place at the pool in the apartment complex (Ashton Creek Apartments own by PRG). It became to a halt as a result of these prejudiced, unfair people. We were all having a great time when Employee and her two body guards came into the pool area. Employee proceeded to make an announcement stating and shouting nervous “Happy Memorial Day! I’m coming around to check pool passes, if you don’t have one you must leave!” At this point almost all the residents looked confused. So she comes around asking for passes out of the 15 or so groups that were there, only two had their pool passes (and if they are new tenants, what a surprise!). While all this going on, she had one guy standing “guard” at one of the pool entrances, and another walking around with her to point her out the kids that they really are here for that came from the other pool at Hyde Park Town homes (own by PRG). The only reason they were there was to kick out about three kids who had snuck over. She definitely could have told them to leave without affecting all your residents. Instead she made hard working people WHO PAY RENT leave the pool for a pass that only 2 people knew about. She couldn’t of simply stated if you don’t have your pool passes, please let me see your ID’s to show proof you live here. No one was violent, or causing a chaos, and again she simply could’ve asked those two kids to leave, since one of the guys called her to say they snuck over. AND the kids who snuck over, only came to this pool because of the same bogus excuse. Both complexes are owned by the same company. Since the pool has been open on Saturday May 25th, 2019 this employee has not step in to check for “Pool passes” and you come on memorial day to ruining all your tenants and the children holiday with this event. I get that she can’t have kids sneaking in to use the pool but this should’ve been handle differently. So yesterday memorial day ended with kids crying, parents upset, and tenants wondering why they are even paying rent. Especially when THEIR RENT funded all the renovations to the pool! Also the employee knew exactly who I was when I addressed her by her name when I spoke up for everyone. Employees here at Ashton creek apartments has withheld my package from me out of laziness, not just cause and given me multiple hard time multiple occasions. I kept doing what they say but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I thank you, because on May 31st 2019 I will be celebrating 2 years in this complex and I was supposed to renew. But I choose not to, due to ruining my son holiday. You put a frown on his face and I will not let you treat anyone like that. So congratulations, you ruined everyone’s holiday and my almost 2 years here that could’ve of turn to be a 10 year anniversary one day. But I’ll be leaving. Im glad God gave me a sign and i would advise everyone to always go by what stars google gives because this is accurate not whats on their website. And I agree the maintenance guys are great, maybe put some male to work in your office.
First year was great. Last 6 months has been miserable. My building has a roach infestation. I’ve contacted the rental office multiple times. All they do is come and spray. The first few times they sprayed it worked for a few weeks. Now, it doesn’t matter. The manager even told me that they are wood roaches, and they don’t harm......WHAT! No one wants to live like that when you pay $1,000 for rent. It just concerns me because they will evict you the moment rent isn’t paid, but make you live with roaches. I don’t even feel comfortable walking in my kitchen. I spotted them in my cabnits. Or even walking on my counter while cooking. Disgusting. Pay attention to reviews guys.
I am a Soldier and I lived at Ashton Creek for 5 years and just recently moved. My experience with them has been up and down but mostly down. The only reason I stayed for so long is because the rent “use” to be a great price. When I moved there in November of 2012 I paid $750 (special rate for 2 bed 2 bath) and every year the rent went up about $25 but no more than $25. I always felt that wasn’t a bad deal and not over the top. Last year with the new team and ownership in the Leasing office the rent went up almost $60. This is because of all the added and overpriced fees. Prior to last year you didn’t pay for water, trash, sewage etc when the rent was due. Now you get a separate bill from a company for your water bill and from how it was explained to me, you are billed for what they “believe” you will use in water for a month based on the size of your apartment opposed to what you “actually” use a month. Also, when I moved out I got a statement saying I owed them $135 in utilities from August to October. When I called the corporate office they told me that the water bill is back dated. So pretty much if you pay your water bill in October you’re actually paying the August water bill. There are a bunch of stray cats that inhabit the complex as well. Several tenants feed these animals on a daily basis. My issue was not that they were feeding them but that they were putting food and water around and near my door and patio. Everyday I would come home to find 5-7 cats laying around my door or patio and it wreaked of cat urine and feces. This was COMPLETELY unacceptable especially when I have kids. I went to the Leasing Office to complain numerous times but nothing was done more than an email going out to the tenants to not feed the cats. However; that was only done by the previous Leasing Office Team and not the current team. The last complaint I made to the Leasing Office was about 3 weeks ago and when I showed them pictures of the cats, food and bedding that had been placed around my apartment by other tenants there response was “We know.” Then they proceeded to ooooh and aww at the kittens in the picture. Needless to say I was extremely upset and disappointed but I guess since they knew I was moving out it wasn’t a big deal. One young lady in the leasing office there is VERY VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I witnessed twice where she spoke very disrespectfully and aggressively to tenants who were moving out from the complex. Both times her attitude was directed towards them because she gets off at 5:30pm and it’s close to that time and she’s ready to go for the day. The only good thing about that place is that the maintenance guys are great!!! They are very professional and come out quickly to fix issues that you have with the apartment. DO NOT move here!! It is not worth it!! If at all possible find somewhere else to call home.
Ive lived here for 7 years and PRG is my 4th management team. The ladies that run this place now have improved things 100% and are the best BY FAR. PRG has invested much money in improvements and continues to do so. The problems I see are caused by a few trifling tenants. Nice grounds and when things get broken, the guys do a great job of taking care of you.
I’ve been at Ashton Creek since September 1st of 2017. On September 23rd my husband had a stroke in the apartment while I was not home. I will have to say that the staff has been nothing but good to me. They have tried to assist me in possibly transferring apartments and put in for a reasonable accommodation. However, I decided not to transfer since there is no approximate date of my husband returning home. There is only 1 trash dumpster that seemed to be full all the time when I first moved in. However, the property Mananger Heather found “Trash Fairies” who come around Sunday-Thursday and pick your trash up from a receptacle that they give you to place your trash in and set outside your door (I was like thank you Jesus). Heather also does community activities that I’ve never seen done at any other properties I’ve lived at, unfortunately I’ve not been able to attend many because I’m always at the hospital with my husband. This past Saturday they made my day. I had just come from the hospital and I was hungry. I stopped by the office to pick up a package and Heather asked me to come in and get some breakfast that they had for the residents. It was a treat with muffins, cookies, bagels w/cream cheese which are my favorite along with breakfast beverages. I’ve read some of the other reviews and I’m sorry but I can’t relate. As far as my unit I haven’t had any major issues other than the washing machine backing water up in my apartment that was due to the water being frozen in the hose from the cold weather this winter. Might I add that it happened on a Sunday when the office was closed but maintenance came right over and took care of the problem. I like where I live and I haven’t had a bad experience with the office staff. They all have been very kind. The only downfall I have are allllll the stairs but other than that I love my unit. It’s updated with modern appliances, light fixtures and appliances. I also feel like the rent is reasonable....I just wish that the complex was closer to my job but it’s ok because it is a cute nestled community that is quiet. The real blessing was I left my car trunk up all night with my daughters Christmas gifts in it and I was blessed enough to come outside the next morning with nothing missing. That says a lot about the community.
The staff is super rude so is the management in corporate!!! They are a group of prejudice people i witnessed it first hand with someone who lived in the complex! i would never give them my business.
I will definitely come back to this after I move out. Very untrustworthy, rude, and flat out disgusting people working here and I cant wait to leave.
I had lived here from 2007-2011. The place was fantastic then, even advised my brother to move in. When they moved in they had problem after problem with the apartment, and with the neighboring apartment complex. The kids from that apartment would come over to the Ashton Creek and would pick on my brothers son. Nothing was done.
Management and other staff has changed so many times its a bit pittyful! The maintnaince staff has been pretty nice and always comes right away; considering my air conditioner has went out twice on the hottest days of the summer! (up to 2 weeks once.) within a year, my rent went up almost $100.00. I signed year two lease in hopes that I would be able to tranfer to a larger apartment, (because this is what I was told before I renewed my lease) and then was told I was not allowed to tranfer because of payment plans previously set....(which they offer) I payed all in full in house without ever going to court or anything like that. Bottom line...management lies, is very unorganized, and all staff members are not on the same page. Remodeled units. Have new fixures and flooring, but still have an older look and not worth the prices.
This place is terrible stay away! The management is rude, the trash compactor is always overflowing because they are too cheap to pay for removal twice a week. Management has changed hands 4 times in 3 years. I made a payment on the 4th which conveniently didnt go through and I was charged 100 for it..even though i coyld prove i went on website and money was in account that day. PRG is trash and this community has become a very uninviting place to live. I have had leaking ceilings, mold problems, pest issues. Maintenance left master key in my door so anyone could have stolen my sfuff. Most people move in a year because this place is so crappy. Take my advice stay away. I am counting the days until I can get out of here.
The Property itself had some rough patches at first. My apartment would never have any of the work done, But recently they have switched the entire staff and company that manages them and work is done in the same day. The staff is also friendly and does whatever they can to help.
Problems with new management and maintenance. Maintenance claims they fix things when they didnt. Management constantly harasses and tells everyone your business.
Another Update: After complaining they took care of the problems with the dishwasher and linoleum so they get an extra star. They also fixed a retaining wall that had been rotted and falling apart for years. The problem is they should simple renovate these apts. Even though its my own fault for staying here so long it burns me that Ive been such a loyal customer over the past nearly 20 years having expended enough to have purchased a nice home and I still have to deal with substandard service. Yes its improved but nothing like it should be given what we pay. The low income apartments down the road look better than these. It is a very nice location but other than that these apartments have become the motel 6 of the area and they may or may not leave the light on for you. They do get an extra star for effort and the staff are really good people and I understand that they dont get to make all the policies and priorities and are trying to deal with a property that has been let deteriorate for many years. If they would only focus a bit more on pleasing long time customers like us Id give them endless praise but the way it is the apartment is so old and hasnt been renovated for 25+ years that every week it seems something is wearing out and of course the carpets need to be replaced because no amount of carpet cleaning can fix wear and tear. I could go on and on.Another update dropping to 2 stars: The new property management appears to be getting more comfortable because its clear they are slacking. I have to give them kudos for fixing a number of long term problems but the dishwasher has been broke now for months with a heating element that just doesnt work right leaving us having to hand wash all the dishes. They sent out clueless people to check it who said it was a dishwashing detergent issue which is just idiotic. Also we were promised upon signing our lease that we could get a reward based on our time living at the complex. Weve lived here 17 years now and have been good residents. The reward that was chosen was the replacement of floorings which we then scaled back when they didnt want to do it to just the linoleum which in the bathrooms had never been installed correctly with the old linoleum visible along the edges where it didnt fit snug. Im very easy to get along with. Just give me the value I pay for.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Another update. The new property management/owner has been very good at working maintenance tickets. There is also a clear visible effort to bring the complex up to standard though after years of neglect it isnt going to be corrected overnight. My family and I have lived here for 16 years far longer than we intended so weve seen many different property management companies. There are still many issues with our apartment but things are getting better. Once all the issues with our apartment are fixed and renovated I will gladly give the new owners/Property management 4 or 5 stars._______________________________________________________________________I wanted to update this review. The apartment complex is now under new owners/management and things have improved considerably. The biggest improvement is in the response to service requests. There are no more lost tickets etc and we have experienced prompt response to our requests. Things are actually fixed the first time which is refreshing unlike in the past where it took literally months to get the air/heating fixed. There is still considerable work that needs to be done around the complex to bring it up to where it should be but Im very encouraged.
Awful, awful, awful. This place sucks! I pay my rent on time and everythings broken. Ive tried calling the office many times, and no answer!
Worst place ever
Problems still exist, even after the management has arrived . They tell you anything to get you off the phone or out of the office, no one communicates with each other here, and they still do not answer tickets in a timely fashion.
Its cool
Great
My family and I have lived here for a little over a year. Every time we have a problem in the apartment, Miss Aurora always helps us. I think my family and I will always be very grateful to Miss Aurora. She has always been so kind to us. The office always keeps it clean.
