I had a gentlemen named Tim and his customer service and patience was amazing! He took his time with my nails and was very gentle! I highly recommend Tim! And he’s especially great with Dip Powder!

It was my first time ever going there, I wanted to try somewhere closer to home.I had Tim at California Nails... I watched a previous customer use the same chair and same tools as Tim used on me from the jar when it was my turn to be seated, these tools were not cleaned but luckily I wasnt cut. The hand massage was literally him wiping it on me no massage at all.LESSON LEARNED....I will continue to travel to va nails in midlothian va near commonwealth 20 from now on. Dan and Tam (Tam the female) are perfectionists and you get a minimal of 3 to 5 minute massage on your hands.Be careful is my advice.

I just wanted my eyebrows waxed, i came in and was not greeted and waited over 40 + without even being acknowledged. I’m still waiting hopefully my eyebrows were with the wait .

Im not sure why their are so many negative reviews but Ive been going here for almost 19 years and Ive never had a problem NOT ONE. Tina is amazing as well as all the other staff. The salon is clean and well managed. If you dont want to wait then make an appointment.

I decided to try this nail salon because a friend recommended it. I got a gel manicure. They are supposed to last about 2 weeks. After 3 days later my gel polish was peeling off. I don’t think I will go to this salon again. I will stick to my normal nail salon where I know they will give top service for my money and good quality.

Ive LOVED California nails and have trusted them with my nails for the past year. The staff are friendly and have a great sense of humor, their prices and product quality is very competitive. Once they get to know you, that $15 fill-in may make its way down to $9.

Just recently moved to the area and i was searching for a new nail place and i saw the reviews for here so i decided to try them out and i am glad to say i did! I have found a new nail place, they do a phenomenal job! But i would recommend making an appointment because they are always busy!

Terrible. I went in for a french gel manicure on Tuesday. By Wednesday afternoon one nail had chipped off - by Friday a second is already chipped. I am a full-student, so the most aggressive activity I carried out in these three days was writing with a pencil and typing on the computer. The inferior product was bad enough, but the service was also extremely poor. The gentleman who manicured my nails barely cared for my cuticles at all and my hands soaked for less than a minute, before he was hurrying to the next thing. He spoke perfectly excellent English and made conversation with me as he chose, but when he didnt choose to speak to me, he instead pointed at me repeatedly, or tapped or swatted my hands to get me to move them. It was incredibly rude and in appropriate and I should have gotten up and left after the first time he did it. I would never return.

I’ve been here for almost 3 hours and come to find out that my name wasn’t skipped!! one lady is open but she doesn’t do fill in. don’t you think it’d be convenient for everyone to know how to do fill in!?!?? very unprofessional. then a lady comes up to me telling me she’ll find out when i can come back and goes on to do someone else’s nails. never coming back here again!

First I will start off by saying that I am a respectful person. I believe in treating others the way Id like to be treated. From the beginning this guy came off as rude. I saw that he didnt care to have a convo with me and that was fine but I did say hello with no response from him but a dirty look. He did a horrible job with my pedicure. Didnt clean underneath nails and didnt do good with my cuticles. So much so that they caught a lot of nail polish. When I POLITELY asked him to clean them he insisted that they were fine. I had showed him what I was talking about and he started speaking in his language to another employee. She came over and pointed out what I was talking about and he started to wipe around it. Not once actually cleaning the polish I was talking about. So this time I pointed and touched my OWN foot to show him the polish I was talking about, this guy had the nerve to shove my hands away from my feet. Im sorry but at that point he crossed a line. I felt a strong urge to shove my foot in his face but instead calmly told him that I felt it was rude what he just did and that I am a paying customer just asking that he remove nail polish from my damn cuticles. SIMPLE CLEAN UP! After all that attitude I dealt with, I took an even closer look at my nails and you can see all the lines from an uneven polish. HANDS DOWN THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER at a nail salon. Before you comment on how Im over exaggerating here, please remember this guy LITERALLY shoved my own hand away from my own feet because he was irritated by my request that I was being extremely polite about. How would you have felt?

This place is seemingly by appointment only. If you dont have one it is at least a 30 minute wait. I would love to see a different process that balances appointments and walk ins in a more efficient way.

Went with my sister to get her nails done 3 weeks ago, both of us got acrilic. We both loved it, wouldnt have picked a different place to go to. They take their time and make sure it looks amazing. Clean and very professional.

I came in here last week and was charged $29 for a filll in, gel polish, and a design (gold tips). The polish lasted TWO DAYS before it started peeling off almost all of my nails. I went back two days after I got them done with my receipt to see if I could just get another color with the same design, and the younger guy told me yes. He started doing my nails fast and sloppily, just like the lady did the first time. This time he didnt give the the design I asked for and was originally charged for. I asked him if he could paint my nails the same way they were before and he walked away from me and called the next person to his chair. I then walked up the the lady that did my nails the first time and she looked at me like I was crazy. I ended up having to raise my voice just to get some of my money back and a sloppy color/design I never wanted. Now 4/5 days later the polish is peeling off AGAIN and I have to get them redone at another salon. Customer service is disgusting and they do a quick sloppy job. I will never step foot in here again.

Came to this location after calling and seeing if they had a wait or needed appt. guy that answered said just come. Went and waited 3 hours so far for acrylic fill in and pedi. Never once acknowledged since I been here. Asked a guy how much longer. He says ask lady in blue. I asked her and explained I been here 3 hours without one gesture. She said you could leave and make appt for tomorrow or keep waiting. It’s my only day off. And really don’t think I will get in another shop without having to wait forever. Ridiculous

Professional service, clean practices and environment. Spa pedicure is an actually spa pedicure (stone massage, cuticle clean, callus removal). Most of the technicians speak English. I like the Zen in this place. You have to come and experience this place at least twice.

These ppl are rude, how ignorant and unprofessional to sit in paying customers face and talk bad about them in a different language! The workers in this salon are very ungrateful knowing that they are able to live in the US and live a much better life than they could ever imagine living in their country. These people need to get some professionalism and humble themselves because the majority of their customers are English speaking. SO SHOW SOME RESPECT TO THE CUSTOMERS WHO PAY YOUR BILLS BY SPENDING MONEY IN YOUR PLACE OF WORK!

This is by far the best salon. The staff is very pleasant and curtious. The salon is clean and they sanitize very well after each pedicure service and that is a win...win for me.

This was the worst experience in all the years of getting my nails done. The nail polish is cheap and clump and crack when drying. I pointed this out to the owner who consistently was in denial about the polish. Everytime they would fix the problem, the newly painted nail polish would crack and lump. Very dissatisfied. I will never bring my family here again. It is a shame. Beware of the cheap quality gel nail polish and the cheap dipping powder. They DO NOT use SNS!!! They use a cheap poor quality knock off brand.

I’ve been going to this salon for about 2 years now & Tina is my go to!! Being a regular she always gives me discounts. A lot of people complain about the wait times but all you have to do is make an appointment. I have nothing negative to say.

Tina has been doing my nails for almost a year now and she never lets me down. All of their staff is very nice, professional, and clean. The quality of the service if def worth the price. I would almost ALWAYS make an appt if you mind who works on your nails because they are busy a lot but it isnt hard getting an appt booked.

Called at 9am to make an appt with the manager. I requested a gel fill for my daughter and gel fill and pedicure for myself. I asked to come at 5:15pm and he requested I come around 7. Then he requested I come at 6:45pm because they closed at 8pm. When we arrived at 6:43pm we were promptly asked if we had an appt. Yes. Various customers continued to walk in after us . One gentlemen (what I will call him) stayed he would take my daughter as I went to sat down. I was told he would do her fill and then I could wait. Very furious to have to wait for more than 45 minutes past my appt time while other customers were serviced as walk ins. Very unprofessional. Very unorganized. This place spared nothing to get more money. I was told anyone could take me and I had to wait since I did not specify a person’s name when I made my appointment. I explained I was s first time customer and that I would not have known that information. Did a rush job on my daughter as well. Never coming back, I do not recommend this establishment if a professional,organized,or promptness is what you expect as part of your customer service .

Went there for a mani/pedi, polish on the toes, gel on the fingers. Hue did a great job. The conversation was enjoyable as well. I will go back. We noticed people walking in minutes before closing and all employees were busy. Know if you arrive close to closing you might not get service and thats not a reflection on the salon.

Rude staff, rushed service, they make their prices up as they go, appointments don’t matter, maybe you guys should read ALL these negative reviews and make changes to your staff and practices because it’s only a million nail salons around and we do not have to choose to you guys to spend our hard earned money on

I made an appt for 10 am because that’s when they said they opened, I get there at9:55 and they are already working on a full salon of people, I told one of the ladies I had an app for nails and pedicure, she said ok and saw everyone before me, when I spoke up at1030 she says she forgot I told her I had an appt she then starts my nails and before she’s done tells someone else she will do her nails after me..... hello??!!! What about my pedicure .... after all that I said just forget it and left

Dont take time to do nails, rush, rush trying to out do each other.

I walked in the door to sign @ 7:35 and guy yelled were about to close. By my calculations if you close at 8 pm you have 25 minutes. I was never asked what service I needed so whether it was a 2 minute service or a 2 hour service does not matter. I will never spend a dine of my money in this place. The customer service is awful.

Guy did my nails was great i got gel n one broke less then a week later came back n this lady fought with me to fix my nail called me a lyer told me i didnt come v that Friday i proved her wrong she still was mad idc though

Waited 35minutes just to go sit down for my manicure, wouldnt do what I wanted, kept telling me to get something else then told me they didnt have time to do my pedicure. Worst service ever!!!
