I would have to give the post office 4 stars for the nice Caucasian working staff at the booth. However, there is a very very very rude black lady working upfront. Just the thought of, I may encounter her makes me not want to go do services at the Chester post office. They should have cameras monitoring the staff. The big boss needs to check her under cover. I am a professional and understands customer service. She is not qualified to assist the customers. It would be so much better without her. Oh, And I am black as well. Shame on my own people (her).

Chester Post Office! Where do I begin...Lost and stolen packages! Packages delivered to wrong address, packages marked as undeliverable with clear address on it. Apparently found in the return to sender pile, NO ATTEMPTED DELIVERY, with clear address on it only after investigation did we receive that information, only to find package appeared retaped!!! When package was opened, only thing in there was the packaging and not the merchandise 🤬🤬🤬 Not surprised not the first thing that was stolen dont know if we can get these replaced!!! Definitely getting in touch with Postal Inspectors!!! Beyond Over this letter carrier and the rest of them!!!

THEY STOLE MY SUNGLASSES...THEY OPENED MY PACKAGE.THEN TAPED IT CLOSED AFTER STEALING MY GLASSES AND LEAVING THE EMPTY PACKAGING IN THE BOX. THEY ALSO STOLE A PACKAGE LAST MONTH BUT THAT ONE JUST DIDNT SHOW AT ALL AFTER BEING SCANNED DELIVERED AND NO ONE AT THE POST OFFICE CARED. IT WAS MY WORD AGAINST HIS. AS IF I HAD NOTHING BETTER TO DO WITH MY TIME. THE LAST PHOTO IS OF THE SUN GLASSES I WAS SUPPOSED TO RECEIVE.

Thee Worst Customer Service Thee WORST Post office experience in my life- My Box key doesn’t work - the line is out the door! This is ridiculous! Only one person in the front no way to contact anybody! My time is valuable I don’t have an hour to wait in line for something I paid for 3 days ago! Lazy incompetent of doing their job! It shows

This is the worst post office I have ever been to. They really don’t care and it shows.

I used to have a dedicated mailman who delivered my mail between 12:00pm -1:00pm Monday - Saturday (and I didnt mind surprising him with Wawa gift cards for his dedication). They took him off my route a couple of years ago and my mail has been late or undelivered ever since. I have informed delivery which states whats in my mail which I never receives until a week later in a bulk with the rest of the mail that was supposed to be delivered on a daily. I am tired of calling the post office with no resolution. What about the people who has important mail that has a time frame to be returned? They really need to do better at Chester Post office. I understand that yall are short staff but do yall have workers who love to do their job and wouldnt mind overtime or is they just there to get a paycheck?

If I could’ve rated 0 stars I would . My husband went here to get his passport and get the photo taken . The rep was rude and rushed we received an email from the government stating that his photo wasn’t taken correctly and when I tried to reach the office the phone just rang ! They need to be held responsible!

Worst post office Ive ever encountered. They dont deliver your packages. Then when you tell them you will instead pick your package up there. They lose your packages. Happened to me multiple times. Worst post office service I have ever experienced. They have one person working the window. I had two people in front of me getting passports. They should have someone dedicated for that service. I made an appointment, still had to wait in line. There is at least 4 people in the back office hiding. Frustration to say the least.

I mailed 2 packages to a business in Chester. The post office attempted to deliver 1 but it was on a Saturday. The notification states it will redeliver today. But the 2nd package, which is addressed to the same business, shows it will be returned to sender due to an insufficient address. How can I be OK and the other be insufficient. Couldn;t get any info from the PO. The person I spoke to was oblivious.

I haven’t seen mail come on my block for a week I got stuff I been waiting for and I haven’t seen the mail person yet put me in a jam with my bills

In less than 8 months time Chester post office -and—-The Mail deliverers made 36 mistakes!I have have received other peoples mail, and people had to walk my mail around many timesI had packages stolen 2 ! because they delivered my mail to the wrong address and I guess householder kept it36 times !!!!after multiple complaints to post master and post office it happened several more times, even today thus this horrible review!very nice people but they’re incompetent and wreck less,it could be very dangerous as far as security, fraud and identity issues espwith your personal info going to any strangers doorthey don’t stop ! they don’t stop making mistakes after numerous complaints!I have personally asked the post man to look at the street name ! not just the number and I get same responseI’m sorry and okAnd another woman in my area had same issue 24 timesIt’s remarkable!The post master even Call me she would take care of it and still mistakes are made and she was even abrupt when I told her I was going to report it after like the fourth time I’ll be in frustrated I don’t know how these people still have their jobsThey suck

This branch is horrible. I have been trying to get a P.O. Box since 5/28. Not only are they rude they don’t know how to follow their job descriptions they apparently can’t read write or hear. I was raised here have my family here in this town and have family on city council, to experience racism in this town is rediculous. I am just like you cut me I bleed red just like all the ignorant people here. Get over yourselves and learn to do your jobs with respect and dignity for everyone you come in contact with.

This place is absolutely horrible and the carriers are rude, liars & thieves. When you call about a problem nobody corrects them and they stick up for each other’s wrong doing. They are also VERY RACIST!!!

They lost my package, and lied to me for three days, I was on them but also believing the lies because I never thought that a government office would lie. Boy was I wrong!! They still cant find my package n are still lying..they should be sent to prison for mail fraud because they have no clue what they are doing.. pigeons can do better deliveringyour mail.

Nice post office, clean.. However, staff could definitely be more friendly. I waited in line for quite some time and the staff was rude. I think they were overwhelmed because they were so busy.

Was gonna rate them 5 stars 🤦🏽‍♀️but their carrier that serves my area is disrespectful he lied and said I said he was withholding my mail which is not true I just called the post office about mail I knew for a fact i was gonna receive (thanks to informed delivery) i just moved here over 2 weeks ago from Wilmington Delaware before I officially moved in (night before) set up informed delivery and over the weekend I did change of address online so idk if mail carrier thinks im inquiring about mail being forwarded from old address (which im not) but I had mail for me that was being addressed to my new address which he never gave me smh however the post master provides excellent service

The workers in the office are really nice but every time i expect a package to be delivered it never shows up .. especially when my tracking info says it was delivered and i always have to call the post office to get everything straightened out

Customer service is horrible ! They will make you wait for over 15mins and sit in the back while a line develops in the lobby . There are two reps that walked away from their post and hasn’t returned and now I’m waiting 25minutes to just pick up a package .They never said anything to the people in the lobby waiting to be addressed . They just up and disappeared

I live in Eddystone, live at same address for 10 years,(apartment) our lock never worked on box, so after 10 years the mailman stopped delivering our mail till we got a new lock, which we did, got a big letchure, from post office how its against the law for mailman to deliver our mail, it needs to be locked, etc. Well that was like 3 months ago, never bothered the maliman for 10 yrs, well for the last two weeks hes the one not locking our box, guess hes to busy talking on his phone with his ear buds in.

Marthala is one of worst post office employees I have ever interacted with. The post office lost my package and I called to ask where my package was at. Marthala responded by saying that they did not have it. I said I know that I want to know where is it. She said we do not have it. after going back and forth with the same conversation over and over again. I asked for a supervisor and Marthala told me she was. I can not believe this is how a supervisor talks to people. If only post offices could go out of business. If only Staples could run the post office. I would not recommend going to this location because the supervisors behavior will dictate the employees behavior.

Delivered my package to wrong house apparently and supposed to get it back for me but nothing. Just keep getting the run around. Bullcrap. Hate it.

Between the carrier lying about the delivery time and status, and the management not being able to even contact the carrier about my deliveries is beyond ridiculous. Called and the manager says yeah Im literally walking out of the door so call back for the other manager. Then I call back a full hour a and a half later and that manager cant provide any type of answers either. Its sad that I have to be the one to stay on them to do their jobs.

Very very slow to Taylor acts like she don’t care about nobody her name is Alexis Alexis I guess and she just standing there helping people and people just standing February 18 is about 3 o’clock and there’s over 20 people standing out here at least and she feels like she needs to fill up other people passports instead of attendance to the customers I guess that’s her priorities she feels like we’re not important enough just the people to have passports so we’re standing here for over 20 minutes
