Used Commonwealth Window Tinting for a few windows inside my home, the garage and a huge sliding glass door... all of which I did not or could not cover w/ traditional window treatments. Stan was very good at explaining the process and making recommendations on the type of product to choose. Just had a back window tint of my vehicle done by the team. The factory tint was bubbled up and awful and now it looks fantastic! Response time was quick, getting an appointment was quick and easy. Price is VERY reasonable (and I am a frugal person!).

We had Stan Epps with Commonwealth Window Tinting come out today to tint the large window in our entryway. Our entryway would get so hot during the summer, and the film we chose will not only block a ton of the heat but also greatly reduce interior fading too. They thoroughly cleaned the window and put the tint on, and left everything spotless. Stan and his team were kind and courteous, arrived within the promised time frame, and did a fabulous job. I highly recommend them.

When I replaced the window over my front door, I paid extra for a coating which reduces the IR and visible light. After one Summer it was apparent the factory coating wasnt working. I called Commonwealth and the Team came out the next day and did a great job installing a significantly better product on my largest heat source; the large window in the picture below.

I called for an estimate. They had a representative here, who was finished with another home, and he was here with in 45 minutes. He was very professional. After talking with him and going over the estimate, I made the decision that getting other estimates was not worth my time. So they were able to install the tint the same day. They were in and out in 2.5 hours. They tinted 5 52”x54”, one sliding glass door, one 32”x54” and one arch window all in my sunroom. After just finishing two windows I could feel the temperature cooling off. After all the windows were completed the temperature in the room lowered drastically. I was able to get rid of the ugly blinds cause you can’t see inside when standing outside although the view from inside to outside was clear, imagine a nice pair of sunglasses. They even cleaned my window sills and tracks. They were professional. The price was very reasonable!

They scheduled to our needs...they were prepared for next day installation...we werent. Installation crew was courteous, considerate, and application, clean up, was with no disruption to our daily routines. Except for the fact that our east facing bay window to our seating area in the kitchen, used frequently in the mornings, now had a little darker hue and was cooler and more comfortable...should have done this way sooner...you wouldnt even know they had been there. Highly recommended! The tint does not make the room a dark dungeon, but it does reduce the heat and glare. While they were installing, it was a noticeable difference in temperature. Davonne and Carter did a great job. They were professional, punctual, and clean. When I figure out how to post a pic on this review, I will!

We recently moved into a new house and I have a couple of half moon windows that allow a ton of natural light in my family room. We couldnt be more pleased with the work that Stan and his team did for us at the Virginia Diner! They were very quick to respond to all our questions and inquiries and asked to come onsite to show us their solutions when 3 other company who were contacted wanted to just do everything via email (and 2 never came back with a quote). The quality of work was top-notch and the pricing was solid. Our dilemma was we needed UV rays blocked on our large windows to help with dining room over heating, but we needed to retain as much light from those windows as possible. Stan came with multiple options to look at and really explained the benefits and drawbacks of each. I had the gang at Commonwealth tint the windows at my beach house in Corolla. Believe it or not they came down and did the job on a Sunday while I sat on my butt and watched football all afternoon. Man, what an experience I had today with this company. I dropped my car off, they personally Shoferd me to where I needed to go. Estimated time was three hours, and I called to check on it at the two hour mark and they said 30 more minutes which at that point they delivered my car to me!!!! They tinted my car with 20% ceramic window film that blocks 86% of heat! It comes with a lifetime warranty against any cracking peeling and bubbling or fading. This tent job will last a lifetime and I couldn’t be more happier with the customer service and hospitality that I received!!! 100% recommend the small business to anyone!!!!

A+++ experience with Commonwealth Window Tinting for my residential window tint job. I had a lot of south/east window glazing that was catching massive amounts of heat and glare on a new AirBnb project. Stan and Devon recommended a tint that would keep the heat and damaging rays out while maintaining the view. I couldn’t be happier with the results. No distortion and only a slightly darker shade which actually enhanced the scene. My large and open space immediately felt the benefit. Was so happy with the results that I’ve had them do skylights in my main home as well as some other big exposures. They also did a fine job with some opaque films on full view glass doors I wanted to make more private. I’m certain their products will help with sun degradation on my pricey hardwood floors too. Solar product are a no-brainer these days but even if they didn’t save me a dime I’m sold on the aesthetics of the product. I’m so excited by how easy and effective this was that I’m looking for new applications and opportunities for solar products.

I was SO Excited to get the sliding glass doors in my family room tinted! We literally couldnt see out of them as we were blinded by the sun light & had to keep them covered with heavy curtains, due to brightness & the extreme heat factor. It looks amazing & instantly dropped the room temp by at least 15%!I love the fact that I can now let the light in, yet be protected from all the harmful Sun Rays.
