Virtual learning at the beginning of the school year was new and difficult for my daughter because she is a visual learner when learning math. Mathnasium has been outstanding for my daughter. Also, my daughter plays basketball and run track the flexible late hours has help tremendously in my daughter keeping her grades up. This has been the best investment I did to help my daughter succeed and to keep her grades up in math. Now she is preparing for the upcoming SAT & ACT exams with the assistance of mathnasium. I am confident the extra help and time provided from the instructors has given my daughter the boost she needs.

Mathnasium has been a life saver for both of our children. Our oldest is in college now and doing extremely well. Our youngest is finally up to speed with her assigned math in class and homework. I am so grateful to Mathnasium for being there for our family. BRAVO to Mathnasium!

I started going to Mathnasium in June of 2019. Anything outside of basic arithmetic I had forgotten over the years. I took a test there so they could identify my strengths & weaknesses. The owner built a lesson plan that enabled me to re-learn the fundamentals of math. In less than 6 months I went from adding fractions to solving Trigonometry problems and Calculus equations. I highly recommend this place for anyone who needs help with math or someone who is thinking about going back to school.

My kids have gone from dread to pure excitement when it comes to math! I love seeing them passionate about learning. Incredible helpful staff and a wonderful environment. So grateful for Mathnasium!

If I could give Mathnasium more stars I would. We have been using Mathnasium since my middle daughter, now a rising senior at JMU, was a sophomore in high school. Our now senior in high school has been attending all four years and skipped calculus and went straight to AP calculus. The help she has received at Mathnasium is invaluable. Whether you have a child who struggles in math or a child who is competitive and just need a little extra help to ensure an A in the class, the instructors at Mathnasium are awesome!

Amazing, friendly and patient staff! My son looks forward to coming here even after spending 7 hours in school. He has learned so much already and he smiles with such confidence everytime he leaves. An all around amazing place.

The tutors at Mathnasium of Chesapeake are amazing. They MAKE the experience and are starting to feel like old friends. My daughter has improved her math skills and knowledge by an entire grade level in three months. She ALWAYS looks forward to going! I cant say enough good things about Mathnasium. I am a recent college graduate of Old Dominion University. I was struggling on multiple college classes that were heavily math based and each instructor that Ive met at this center helped me tremendously in all of my classes. Not only was everyone incredibly helpful, they were all fantastic to talk to about every day happenings. They have done so much good for me in every way possible. The Mathnasium program is fantastic in its individualized approach to helping each student. My high schooler not only received homework help, but during the months she did have a math class, she received personalized practice worksheets that helped her maintain her math skills.

Mathnasium has truly been a blessing for my teenager. He has been going for a year, and the improvement in math grades from his freshman year with no mathnasium, to his sophmore year while attending mathasium, has been night and day. He is much more confident and performs so much better on tests. Cannot thank the staff at mathansium enough! Tried personal tutors, but mathnasium has proven much more effective!
