I brought in a 10 year old Samsung 50 inch TV for repair. I thought for sure the cost of repair might be too high but to my surprise and delight it wasn’t. I have a Sony X900F| LED |4K ULTRA HD 75 TV I purchased new in May 2019, and of course soon after the factory warranty expired one of the boards fried. From the first phone call I could tell I was speaking with the right people about fixing this thing. I dropped it off on a Friday, and Saturday they call with a couple of repair options and estimates, one of which they could do the same day. Work was completed when they said it would, and for what they said it would be. Now good as new for a fraction of the cost to buy a new one. I did call the G Squad at the store I purchased from, and because it was out of warranty, they would bother looking at it stating probably not worth fixing. TV Service Pro fixed mine, and thats who Ill be using and recommending.

12/10/2020I have a fairly new Samsung flat screen television and noticed white dots all over the picture. A friend had previously had her television repaired by TV SERVICE PRO and was impressed with the repair. She referred me to them and the owner Marvin was able to diagnose the problem quickly over the telephone after we sent him a picture of the television screen. Turned out to be a backlight problem/LED and Marvin was able to order the part. When the part arrived, we brought the television to the shop. TV SERVICE PRO was able to repair THAT SAME DAY and my television was returned quickly. The picture on the screen is superior! I highly recommend this business! After going to 2 different TV repair shops in this area, for the same issue. And having the first shop fix it...and the second shop fix it I was frustrated because the problem was still there. I tried to call the second shop back and they never returned my call.I reached out to TV and Laptop repair and from the first time speaking to Marvin I knew he was the guy. He advised me on what to do with one older TV that was on the blink. He had another TV there that he gave me a great deal on...annnd actually fixed mine. I have tried for several months to reconnect my Alexa and download audio books. Marvin was here and had everything hooked up in less than 15 minutes. It pays to know what you are doing, and he certainly does!He also identified that my bedroom TV has a burned out LED backlight so that is why I have sound, but no picture. GREAT JOB AND VERY DEPENDABLE.

Super-Friendly Customer Service! In case you failed to get the extended warranty for your TV, heres a place that will fix your TV at a reasonable price without purchasing a brand new one. They offer new parts or refurbished pricing. I got the refurbished and my 65 inch is working as good as new. Geek Squad was going to charge $100 just to diagnosis the problem. They also fix game systems, which I will keep them in mind in the event I have any issues with my Xbox. Great team!

I have never worked with such a great bunch of folks. My Dad can not talk and his only form of communication is with his computer. He is not a whiz at it and does stuff to jam it up or make it not work at all but TV Service Pro is always there to fix it and understands my Dads need to communicate! I called the pool guy to fix my control board for my in ground pool panel. After waiting a number of days to get an estimate the pool company came back with a price of 800.00 dollars!!! I knew I had to act fast to figure out an alternative before my wife tried to sell one of my organs. Having dealt with these guys before I removed the board from the panel and took it to them. They fixed it while I waited and for about 80 dollars.....thats right 80 dollars remove a zero from 800!!!! Thank you TV & Laptop Service pro for saving the day!!! and one of my kidneys!!! Thank you soooo much Marvin and your staff! I called every pool place in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach for a repair on my salt chlorinator. I had the part I purchased off of amazon. They didn’t want to touch it, they said we will sell you another panel 6-900$! Hell NOOO! I called tv pro services and he knew exactly what I was talking about. I took him the part and the panel board 80$ for repair and had it back in less than 2 hrs. Brought it home hooked everything back up and guess what.... IT WORKS! 2nd Review - Again TV Service Pro came through for me. I need another part for my 82 inch TV but my TV is a little behind in the times. The board for the HDMI connects burnt out and this part was no longer available. They told me a quick do it yourself fix and got me up and running and didnt charge a thing for their Technical Support. Again the service was superb and they are my permanent TV Repair Shop. Trust me you will not go wrong putting them on speed dial. I sure did.1st Review - I am so please with TV Service Pro, very professional and EXCELLENT service. I have an 82 inch TV that was losing its pixels and I wasnt sure what to do. I was about to get a loan for another big screen and I thought to my self to call a company that would come out and look at the TV first. Marvin was very polite and was quick to take care of my TV. I drove up from Hertford, NC and got there just after 12PM, and I needed to be back to E city by 4PM for another appt. so I went and did some errands and came back about 2:50PM. Marvin and his worker had my tv figured out and by 3PM had me out the door with a working TV and a replacement remote. This business is very honest, fair priced and polite. They have been the best thing ive found out here! Multiple times have i had to use there service and they have saved me the trouble of have to get a new laptop and then some. If theres any problem i have with my laptop no matter where or how far i am, this is the only place i trust to get it work on if i cant do it myself!

(Edit)(the reason for the one star is I found what I needed after searching online for 10 minutes. Was able to fix it to like new condition after parts were delivered.) Took 1hr 25 min. Cost $18.Before reading understand I dealt with them for 3 years but very few repair shops in the area so little choice. Compared to other reviews you can see they make a habit of holding onto items for long periods of time. I didnt want to write this. But people should be at least wary of the facts. I wish I had checked before I went so here you go.Had an HP laptop with the henges messed up. As a DIY I figured I could do it myself but didnt want to risk breaking the screen. They did previous work on my consoles so i figured Ill let them handle it. BEWARE free estimate is false at least for all the items I came in for (4 times) as a 40 fee, I forget the name but roughly a diagnosis fee. Luckily it is applied to the final charge but if you deny to get the work done well you just lost out and for me at least, on the cost of materials to do the job myself. That was all understandable a business has to profit and its a small business so would love to support them but this time was unforgivable. Dropped my laptop off and was told to expect a call within the week but got nothing. Going on 2 and a half weeks I called and was told he would check on it. Got a call back the same day and he couldnt find the parts I needed on any site (found it as we were on the phone but ehhh Im not a pro) said he could do an epoxy job that worked well last time but would take 2 or 3 days to dry if that works. I, of course with $40 over my head, cant back out and agree so a week later called and was told yea its being worked on now will be done in 2 to 3 days. Okkkkkkkk so I wait. Another 2 weeks pass and Im out of time due to moving out of state so I call. Nope not ready 2 to 3 days. I ask whats taking so long and told its just in a difficult position. But week after week of the same excuse it seems nobody was working on my item during the month or so it was there. So fine Ill deal with it. 4 days pass and Im on my way back from out of state to get my oh so treasured laptop. Called and nope not ready. I say Im coming back just for my laptop and its a round trip I leave today as well. Was told they will try and get it done. No word the rest of that day and sadly Im back home. Next week I call and it is finally ready after a total of 5 delays of itll be ready in a few days, its finally ready. Buttttt Im still out of town so I got to send somebody to get it and ship it to me. Truly nice people but for the service of a tech service shop must give one star and as a business management graduate all you have is your word as a company. When you give dates you must stick to it. Period.-Update it wasnt ready. They were saying it should be ready. Fast forward two more weeks. Pick it up and the work was clearly rushed. I dont see how since it was there for two months and some change. Wasnt satisfied but as they said this the best we could do. Use it very very gently. Use a 360 laptop that I paid for you to fix must be used very gently. Worse thing is it broke again in the same exact place. I would use there warranty of a month I believe but Im not trying to have my laptop hostage yet again. Wasnt even a real fix.

One good ole morning I’m off work finally sits in front of my TV and ZIPPPP The screen just goes completely black!!! Driving past this place all the time as I head to work Sooo i figured I’ll stop pass check it out and I eventually Dropped my Television off to get serviced, I had figured the issue out before even going to the store so upon arriving(due to me knowing a little knowledge about Electronics) he tested it for me & BOOM Guess what, I was right that was definitely the issue- BACKLIGHTS. He didn’t Hassle me nor was he in more of a rush than myself to complete this process It’s Simple YOU PAY I’ll ORDER, he actually worked with me and my busy work schedule plus he moves quickly! The faster you pay your ticket or majority of it the quicker he’ll begin the process of refurbishment. I couldnt be happier with my experience. My 60 Sharp LED TV went dark with flashing indicator lights in May. I took it to another repair shop (no names but they are next to Lynnhaven Mall) who told me i had a bad main board. After 6 months of back and forth they told me they had tried two replacement boards but still could not get it to work, AND i should come pick it up and throw it in the dumpster. I was this close to doing just that but since the TV was less than 2 years old I decided to give TV Service Pro a shot. I dropped it off around 4PM on Wednesday - Marvin called me the next morning and said it was fixed and i could come get it. I was amazed - it turns out it wasnt the main board after all and they had the needed replacement part in stock. Thanks Marvin - youre the man!!
I have a Pioneer Elite Kuro PRO-151 FD that I purchased in 2009 that has worked flawlessly for 8 years. A couple of months ago, the set would intermittently not go on and was showing 8 blue blinks (1 orange display).After calling several companies, Marvin called me to discuss my options. He was knowledgeable about the issues I was having with the TV and was willing to look at it. He and Chandler came and picked the TV up on a Saturday and took it back to their shop. Marvin spent time during the next couple of days troubleshooting the TV and kept me up to date on his progress. When he spoke on Wednesday, he advised me that he solved all the issues. He monitored the TV on Thursday and Friday – turning it on and off and letting it run – to make sure there were no other problems. He replaced the IC Regulator, three capacitors and one transistor. He advised that he felt that heat caused the problem and the TV should work well after the repair. Marvin and Chandler delivered the TV on the following Saturday and it has been working well since then. Repairs are guaranteed for 6 months!12/26/17 - I recently brought in a HP w2207h monitor that was not working and I wanted to keep since it is adjustable, has sound and a USB port. They are very professional, have a clean orderly office and were most respectful and pleasant to speak with. That being said, they fell well short in terms of communicating any information from the time they diagnosed my problem until I came in to pick up my still broken TV. Was told a week to 2 weeks for delivery of my control board when it was ordered. I had to call them at weeks 3, 4 and 5 to find out if my parts have came in and if my TV had been repaired. Finally I got a call back that the part that was replaced was damaged by an additional faulty part (this time the panel itself). I have done electronic repairs for years (Navy) and understand cascading faults but a Pro checks for these things. A service pro keeps their customer informed if parts are back ordered or if their diagnosis is an educated guess. When I asked for detailed information about how the fault was identified, I was left underwhelmed by the effort. Im not upset that my TV was returned still inoperable...that happens. I dont feel they cheated me, they charged me only for the part; Im just left dissatisfied with the experience of having to constantly follow up and not getting a clear answer to several questions.

This has been a terrible experience 4 me .it seem like theres a pattern with the communication an the repairs an lost an back ordered parts. Took my Samsung TV set to service pro due to intermitted problems. After some weeks tv was repaired after making calls to check on the status. Picked it up takes it home an didnt plug it in at the time an when I did plug it in I seen the same exact problem. I took it in for . Call mr. Marin an explained the situation. He had me to bring it back in so I did. Now 3mo later after calls, backorders,Im gonna call you back, etc .pickup my tv a week ago.from hes shop tv playing good .channels working, color ok.get it home now . plug it in an what do I see.the exact problem plus more.now Im over the Top...called an he says it played good .yes at your shop. But home same problem. In short I have to take it back in for ROUND 3, asked for a refund .went all around me.. PS. He ask me to tap on top of the TV to see if that fixed the problem. Really Marvin. This isnt Sandford an Son. Will keep everyone updated. .
This is the worst company I have ever worked with! We are a local business in the area and we purchased 2 Flat Screen TVs, Bose Speakers for our front and back porch, 2 Internet Stereo’s, 2 Outdoor Bose Speakers, Amp and much more. They are quick to come and install and collect their money but when it comes to none of their equipment working properly they will not come back and repair it without a fee. I have had more issues with the owner Marvin than with any company I have ever worked with in my personal life and with my company. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy!!!!! They are horrible!!! Now I have to pay someone else to come out and repair there incompetent mistakes.
Let me start by saying the last couple of months have been very irritating. My husband took my tv into Tv Service Pro on battlefield Blvd. in Chesapeake at the end of July 2017 because my tv would suddenly shut off by itself. I was hesitant to bring another one of my LCD televisions here due to past experience. But hey, we all make dumb choices more than once right? :) Within 2 days of dropping my tv off I received a call telling me what needed to be repaired and that I needed to pay $175.00 for them to get started on my tv. After about 2 weeks I still hadn’t heard from the shop so I called them and was told my part was on back order and they would need to order the part from a different vendor which could take an additional 2 weeks to receive. I wish I didn’t have to call the shop myself to find out this information but hey, I’m still trying to give these guys a chance so I call the following week after no one called me yet again. This time the part was LOST! They finally received the part last week. So now all that they had left to do was FIX my tv. When I got the phone call that my tv was ready I was soooo happy. Unfortunately, when my husband got home and plugged in the tv he saw that the tv had something very wrong with the screen that was not wrong with it when I dropped it off. One side of the screen was bright and the other was dark. WTH? At this point I’m beyond pissed. Why would you return and charge me for a tv that you KNEW WAS NOT FIXED?!?!? I immediately wrote an awful on TV Service Pro Facebook page while my husband went to speak with Marvin (the owner) in person to express to him how dissatisfied we were with his business practices and demanded a refund. Marvin would not issue a refund at first, but I believe after he read my awful Facebook post that was put on his business page he changed his mind and decided to refund us everything except the $50 diagnostic fee. Which in my opinion the refund should have been for the full amount due to his bad business procedures. Never the less, at this point I just wanted to be done with this nightmare. Marvin was suddenly not so rude and very apologetic to us for all the inconvenience we have had with his company and he then asked if I would be so kind as to take down that review I posted on Facebook. I removed the previous post but now I’m pissed off all over again because now the half bright/half dark screen is TOTALLY PITCH BLACK! No picture at all☹ SO now I’m stuck with a dead tv. I wish I would’ve NEVER given this company a second chance. They still kept my diagnostic fee which makes me feel really cheated in the whole process. Trust I will NEVER MAKE THE MISTAKE OF STEPPING FOOT IN THIS STORE AGAIN! Hopefully this review will help someone make a smarter choice for their electronics by not making the same mistake I did.

So the older gentlemen at this shop had my computer for 1 month without fixing my concerns; I dropped my computer off to them in the middle of June because I was having trouble with the charger; prior to dropping of my computer I purchased a new battery as well as a new A/C Adapter and my charging problems were still present so thats why I decided to check it into TV Service Pro to see if they could fix the problem. The same man I was previously speaking about called me about 2 weeks after having my laptop and advised that my battery (inside of my laptop) as well as the replacement battery and the 2 A/C adapters I had were perfect and the charging error was because the A/C Jack was loose. He advised that he would have to order the parts so that he could replace it. I agreed and paid half of the repair costs ($50). I went to pick up my computer on a Saturday, right before they closed at 1pm and paid the remaining balance of $49 and some change). when I got home I discovered that my WiFi was not working, so I called Monday morning and advised that my WiFi was not working and that it was working prior to me dropping it off for repair to the charger; The same older gentlemen told me to bring it in so that he would review it? He kept it for 2 additional weeks advising that he was unable to determine the problem with the WiFi but now he advises me that my BATTERY is bad and thats why its having charging issues. I advised him that when you previously had my laptop you advised that the battery was fine and that I just wanted to know why my WiFi wasnt working, he advised again he didnt see an issue with the WiFi and went back to the battery advising that he can get me a replacement for about $30.00; I advised him I didnt need a battery and that since he had to touch the motherboard in order to replace the jack its possible that something is loose or just wasnt attached properly; he refused to look any further into it. I contacted another repair shop and advised what was going on; I was in the shop less than 5 minutes and my WiFi issues were diagnosed and repaired!!!!!! It seems that as I thought this Guy from TV Service Pro did not reconnect the WiFi wires to the motherboard so that the signal could be read....So I would not recommend them for any type of repairs outside of TV repairs; They did repair my 55 inch Samsung Flat screen without error thats why I ASSUMED I could trust their repairs on my laptop; however based on this experience I now know that Laptops is not something they specialize in.BE VERY CAREFUL with your technology and who you let access and repair it, because some people will not honor their repairs to your device even if they cause additional damage to it
