Had my taxes done on April 3 if this year for the 2016 tax year. Me and my ex wife had our taxes done here. Was told I was not able to claim any of the children this year since they lived with her but for next year I needed to fill a form. My ex wife was willing to let me claim I of our children but they said I could not do it this year that I need to fill out a form to claim one fir next year so I ha e to pay 2500 to federal tax took my return to H and R block and they said I could claim one child if ex wife was willing for the 2016 and H and R block said with 1 child credit I should only pay 897 instead of 2500. Had been going here over 20 years not anymore me or the rest of my family
